I tried to find this cache about 10 years ago and because I was very new to geocaching I made many mistakes along the way. This year I decided to revisit all the waypoints and redo my calculations for my 900th find. I was confident I had calculated all the waypoints correctly and I was in the right spot but was disappointed when I found the geocache muggled and empty. Its a shame it had been muggled, I had such high hopes for this cache, I now have big plans to make my 1000th find the Block Party in Sydney next year. Hopefully the event is as exciting as it sounds! TFTC it gave the geodog and I lots of opportunities for exercise along the way.
I decided to head South of the city today to target a few Multis, this being one of them ??Numbers crunched and massaged for a set of final coords where I found and stamped the log TFTC ????
Thanks Team Waldron for the maintenance. I enjoyed doing this 5 stage multi, and rediscovering the grand early houses and their history. Out with makingpie. It has been a while since I have visited the old gum tree. The park has had a major makeover since then. It has been done well. Some of the way points required some puzzling over.
I started this cache with invisible ninja a number of months back but we got stuck and one on the coordinates and ran out of time to complete the cache. Today comes and pie_mom and myself while out on a drive decided to have another go at this. We again became stuck on the same stage after starting from the very start to ensure we were on the right track. After a bit of thinking the lightbulb moment was had and we found ourselves with useful coordinates. Onto the next stage and then the next until the final location was in our sights. Once at GZ the cache was easily found although pulled apart a bit. We signed the log, re assembled the cache and hid it where GZ was indicating. Tftc
Muggle65 and l are on our way to the Leap Year Mega in Adelaide. Such a long drive but thankfully we have a few cache stops. Container had been emptied out. Found a baggie but no log. Added a pee jar with a fresh log to the container.Thank you for the break and the fun
Heading toward Adelaide for the Leap Year Mega to celebrate my first 4 years caching with commenced on a Leap Day event.
Find #7895 at 8.26pm. Thanks Team Waldron for adopting and maintaining this cache. I was down here a month or so ago and searched every nook and cranny of these trees. I was convinced it was not here. I was gobsmacked to see a find on it just a week later. I spoke to the CO and he was not sure whether to keep it running, so when I found myself returning from the deep south tonight, I decided to swing by here for another look.
Armed with a picture of the general location, I searched again. The pic did not help, and I tried to look in alternate locations to my first search, which was few and far between. I did a lap, nothing. I searched again near GZ and looked at a spot, no joke, I have looked in that direction 26 times before, and there it was. How did I miss it, I will never know. The container was of good size, had a pen and a scrap of paper. I returned to the car and grabbed a new baggy and a fresh clean book, signed and returned it to its hide. I pushed it another 20cm back, not sure why, it is doing well to avoid detection where it was. It is not in any usual caching spot nestled under a trunk or low lying brach, just in bushes. Go figure.
I am overjoyed that this sad face is now a smiley. Missing this one last time caused my streak to stop at 67 days. I asked the experienced of the group how many days I should be aiming for, and 100 then 365 was the answer, which is well beyond anything I could imagine, so truth be told, I am happy it was severed at 67, it took the pressure off and I was able to skip a day without feeling crap.
This cache was an adventure, and I am pleased its now a smiley on my game board. I hope you keep it running for some time to come TW. Thanks again.

Sparkie and Goldy had to alter our plans due to yesterday's bushfires in the hills.
Instead we went to the Marion area to celebrate Sparkie's 2000th cache find on a cache of her choosing.
We had done the 2000th cache and needed other ones to find so we made our way to do this one.
We got to where the GPS indicated and found nada, then an eagle eyed Sparkie saw something and the pineapple went in for a look. Sure enough, there it was.
Container is sturdy and in good condition. The log book has seen better days, we managed to sign it "Sparkie and Goldy" but will need a new one. If needed I can put a new one in if requested.
Good to see this cache is stil l here.
Thanks Richary and Team Waldron for this cache.
This cache brings Goldy's total find count to 2366 on the 15th of January 2023 with AussieSPARKIE.

I was super keen to view the old log book and to see the Tasmanian's entry in the book. After being unable to find a cache, I PAF'd and confirmed I was in the right location. I went back again for a final look and did not see it. Thanks for the challenge. I will talk to some more previous finders to get more info before returning.
Finally the sun was out as we worked through this old multi. We could see the destruction from the earlier storm near GZ.
Thanks Team Waldron
We arranged to catch up with Tassie Trekkers, who have been over here for a while, to do some caching around Adelaide and surrounds. The weather was typically Tasmanian, four seasons in one day with some flash flooding thrown in!
It’s become a tradition to fly to a Mega via somewhere else so Stainless steel rat, budgietas and I flew from Hobart to Adelaide a week before the big event and, after a few days around the city, worked our way up along the Murray (where we could due to flooding) via Waikerie, Mildura, Swan Reach and Echuca before heading down through Shepparton to Whittlesea where we caught up, and cached with, a few other teams including Whitewebbs, 1toolman and icybeetas.

Found this cache while out caching with Tassie trekkers. Goosenegg and stainless steel rat.
First full day in Adelaide, and we worked our way through some caches we had predetermined to do
Thank you for the cache.
All caches stamped with "Team Tassie"
November 2022 was planned as a trip to the Mega in Melbourne, so we flew from Hobart to Adelaide to find quite a few caches that we had missed last time. Some great caches were found, but the planned boat trip was canceled due to the weather. No matter the showers we found quite a few caches on the trip (Around 600) including a number with high Terrian values.
The drive-through down the Murray river on the NSW / Victoria border showed the impacts of the current floods. A number of caches planned were canceled due to the flooding. Unfortunately, many of these caches will have been lost to the flood. The Mega, as per the whole week, was on and off a wet time, even so a number of caches were still found with Goosenegg, Stainless Steel Rat, Whitewebbs and Tassie Trekkers

Today we teamed up with gooseandegg, stainless-steel-rat and Budgietas to do some caches around Adelaide of different types and this was one of them.
After working through the waypoints we gathered the required information and made a quick find at GZ. We signed the logs as Team Tasmania, cache and contents were good.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Another year, another Victorian Mega, so where do we fly into, Adelaide like you do, after a few days in the city we ventured out into the wilds of SA before heading Northeast towards the border (You remember the name of the town, don't you?) before crossing over we teamed up with Tassie Trekkers and we all finished off the OYB series.
Our attempts at a few caches as we moved South that were near rivers were as half expected we were thwarted by floods so we didn't get to those but added the odd on in here and there.
At long last we arrived in Whittlesea for the Mega late in the evening of Friday 11th and after a quick event headed to our accommodation for the next few days. While in the area we explored the area finding caches all over the place and we even got to meet up with our Victorian ex Tassie cacher 1Toolman who traveled up from down South to join us for the day
Thanks for the cache.

Found container open with contents on the ground. Have put it all back together, but this looks like an area frequented by kids that will probably damage it again. Log OK. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Team Waldron

Tackling some urban caches with Wollaston, some were park and grabs, some were convoluted, some were hard to track down.
Thanks to CO’s for taking time to set out and maintain hides and for showing us your very special part of the world

Now staying in Brighton for a few days this morning Mr Felix headed out on his bike to tackle a few caches south of here, once he returned we grabbed lunch and 'the list' and off we set for a full days urban caching. (oh the fear)
Thanks for sharing so much history. amazing what we have seen thanks to geocaching here in Adelaide alone.

Interesting multi. Final looks to have been muggled with only a sheet of paper as a log. TFTC
This one certainly had the grey matter grinding and the tyres crunching as I whizzed around some great locations highlighting some big history. A very enjoyable multi. TFTC
Found with Wal & Ol on a lovely Sunday afternoon out caching. We enjoyed visiting all the great historical places along the way and a big thanks to Ol for all the calculations. TFTC!
We set out this morning with Pony1966, and thought we'd make this the target for the day. After gathering all the details, a stop for lunch and only one other cache find, we made the final at 2.45pm . Disappointing end location for such a great multi, but definitely kept us amused all day! TFTC
We have no idea for how long this multi has been in our watchlist today finally we ventured into the unknown and found it only problem was that there wasn't a log book so we put our ink at the back of the instructions paper... sorry We didn't have an spare log.
LukaSkywalker really like to explore the surrounding area where the cache is hiding.

After attending a Cito we tried to find as many different types of caches today and this one was the multi for the day. I like to explore this place. It was fun with Mum & Dad.
I did the background work visiting the waypoints and gathering the necessary information for this one in December last year. By the time I got to the second waypoint, I had an inkling as to the general area where it might finish, which turned out to be correct.
All of the questions requiring answers were straightforward until the final stage where some rather unusual use of the English language had me rather confused - normally when you are asked to “look at the difference between ...”, it requires a comparison between more than one thing!!
However, I guessed at what might have been intended and came up with some coordinates that seemed to work and a GZ that seemed consistent with previous logs and photographs. But unfortunately, despite an extended and wide search, I was unable to find the cache. I suspected that maybe I guessed wrong and my coordinates were out.
Today I was back in the general area for a CITO event. Afterwards, gridge98 and I revisited my calculated GZ but again initially weren’t able to find anything.
Conscious of previous logs that suggested the cache may be up to 30 metres out, we broadened our search and then phoned a friend who confirmed that we had the right coordinates and steered us slightly north. Within a few seconds gridge98 spotted it, less than 9 metres from GZ and in a spot that made us wonder how we had missed it the first time.
Thanks richary and Team Waldron for the cache. Its nice to finally be able to put this one to rest.

Today I was with e.gregory1 who had worked his way through all the waypoints, as having a previous DNF we made out way to this one, After phoning a friend we soon made the find, wasn't that hard to find afterall.

Found with vj187. What a huge effort. Got to the final search and couldn’t find it. Read other posts and extended our search to 30m away and eventually found it. TFTC
Out for the usual Wednesday wanderings with the usual crew minus 1.
Now I can see why my previous attempts at finding this cache have failed. With a couple of previous finders pointing me in the right direction I now realise I had calculated GZ about 15 further south.
Thanks for the cache Team Waldron.

During a nice Thursday evening after work, I collected a few select geocaches in the Brighton to Seacliff area that were of interest to me, including a few DNF conversions, and multi-caches for the month multi-cache challenge.
I had been completing this multi-cache on-off for the last seven months I think, and every time I was west, and we were driving past the waypoint, we would stop and solve for the next waypoint. They were all pretty interesting locations, and some I had never visited before, so that was kinda cool. No issues with the calculations, although they felt a little too complex to be calculating in field.
Tonight near one of the final waypoints, I had a good scatter of multi-caches that would serve me well for the month multi challenge. I managed to get the final coordinates, and it was close enough to go for a jog/run to GZ. Under torchlight, I then began my search, and this was probably the main place of my difficulties. Searching high and low and all around the bushes, the cache was just very hard to locate. I tried desperately reading through past logs, and contacted a previous finder, but due to the terrain, wasn't alot of help at narrowing down. After 25 min of searching and well and truly over my allowed time of geocaching tonight, I was about to walk away, but then in my last looks, I found it. Not the easiest/intuitive place for a geocache. Good to have this one off my list now, thanks richary and Team Waldron.

I really enjoyed the adventure of this cache. The journey took me to places I had not been to before and I learnt some stuff along the way which is a big part of why I do caching. TFTC
This cache has been a week in the making. I started last Sunday when I visited the first few WP on the list. I collected the very interesting info from the various historical points and got to WP4 where I had a brain fade and couldn’t get the right coords. So went home and had the obvious doh moment.
This morning when walking the hound on the beach we got WP5 this WP seemed a rather apt place to visit given today is Remembrance Day. This arvo headed to the final WP.
I would love to say it was a quick find and sign after I wandered down from the final WP but it definitely was not a quick find!! Eventually I read back through the logs and saw Mr Muff with the cache I also found another hint in the logs and after that it was a much quicker find. Shame there is so much rubbish etc at GZ plus looks like a camp nearby. Great to find such a big hide.
But it was an excellent cache and I really enjoyed visiting all the historical WP. TFTC

Out grabbing a few caches for the day. Loved going around to see all the places, many of these I had been to as a kid. My brother even got married at one of the waypoints.

Moneydork and I searched for this one in the pitch black of night, and came up empty handed. We will return during daylight.
Out of our usual area, The Rat and snake together with an Owl and a starfish headed south to get a few solved puzzles and worked multi caches off the map. This took a little while longer than anticipated with the co ords a few meters off but that could have been for a multitude of reasons. After a coffee break nearby the search was on. Cache found well hidden and log signed. TFTC
Owl headed down south with the hope of filling another spot on her D/T grid in the company of Brisal5, SA Sewer Rats and Blackadder. And pre-solved multis! The hard work had already been done by the starfish on this one, but the location gave some grief and a CaF (Call a Friend - who was sitting guarding the coffees) was needed to spot what they shouldn't have missed in the first place!
A few of the Puzzled Puzzlers group gathered to collect a few of the many puzzles we have solved over the years and of course have some fun, some frivolity and get a little exercise. I was joined by Doctor Owl, SA Sewer Rats and Black Adders. A days geocaching for me always includes the above with the added highlights of my caching trinity - falling over, blood spilled and ripped clothing (usually the daks). But today was different - I didn't fall over! [:o)]
Well this certainly fits into the Grand Tours bracket. Luckily the final is near a coffee van as we were certainly in need of one now. In fact we stopped and got our coffee's first. Mrs. Rat informed me that somehow I had managed to fulfill one of my trinity and there was a large rip in my daks (one I didn't already know off) and I was being rather cheeky. (Right cheek to be precise)
After a few sips of coffee we headed off to find the cache. As usual we made it a hell of a lot harder than it had to be and found it in the last place we looked. And that was after we employed Mrs. Rat who was a previous finder to help!
Thanks richary and Team Waldron for the history and a great cache.

I had the co ords for a while now. Was saving it for a day I needed for my streak but that stopped when I wrote my car off on day 656. Figured I grab this one on route to the A Cheesy Picnic event. My co ords where good, even allowing for the wind and heavy rain. The rain did slow the finding down a little bit. cache fine, log dry unlike me.
Part 1 - solved at work Friday arvo.
Part 2 - a quick drive by after the gym Saturday morning to read the plaque. home, chores and then the caching continues
Part 3 & 4 - close together. how cold & windy is it today. Photograph the plaques and retreat to the warmth of the car to solve.
Part 5 - short drive away, more photos, back to the warmth of the car and drive to final location. The tide is in, the sea is rough and stormy- needless to say not many people around. Location found, cache found, log signed.
Thanks Team Waldon

After a previous unsuccessful visit to GZ, I came back today with a better idea of where to look. This time the cache was spotted easily along with the occy strap mentioned in an older log which had me confused on the last visit.

Collecting the required data in my journeys. Finally today i made the find even dissobeying the NO ACESS VEGETATION REGENERATION area
Found It!
I started this multi years ago. Every few months I'd visit another of the waypoints. Then I went to GZ a year or so ago but no cache was found. Today I came back with some assistance and found the cache 30m from where I had GZ to be. Somewhere along the way I must have made an error in the maths...
Anyhow, nice to finally tick this one off and as a bonus, it counts for Geosportz since there are 5 or more WPs!

I started this multi years ago. Every few months I'd visit another of the waypoints. Then I went to GZ a year or so ago but no cache was found. Today I came back with some assistance and found the cache 30m from where I had GZ to be. Somewhere along the way I must have made an error in the maths...

In town for the weekend to attend a couple of events on Saturday and Sunday...and to do a few caches as well! There was a group assault organised for some of the "Harder" caches in town. The group congregated at this one and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Out with a small group of searchers today with the aim of seeking a few of the challenging to find micros down south and any others along our path. TFTC
After sorting this some time ago and having a fruitless search before,
a previous finder added some help before a larger group came along
and we finally got this box ticked off. It IS there just well hidden

We followed the Federation Trail a couple of days ago and collected all the required information. We got to GZ and despite an extensive search, we didn't locate the cache. We contacted the CO who generously confirmed our coordinates for GZ. Today we returned and searched the area again but with increased confidence that we were in the right area. After another 10 minutes of searching we located the cache in an area that we had looked at previously but this time we appreciated how well the cache blended into the environment. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Team Waldron for a very interesting and enjoyable multi and for a very well hidden cache. It earns a favourite from us.
Our notes show we started this cache back in April 2008, but it's only been since the start of this year that we've taken a active interest in progressing it further [|)]. We enjoyed the historical journey and changes that are revealed over time through the various waypoints [^].
Apart from the distance needed to travel, this is a bit of an unusual multi, in that each progressive set of coords are built off the previous ones, so if you make a mistake early on (which we did) [|)], you need to go back, or allow for the inaccuracies along the way .
Made it all the way through a couple of weeks ago, but our mistake put us about 50 metres out, so weren't even in the ball park first time we went for a look at our perceived endpoint [:o)].
While back at home, we found our mistake, then calculated the true GZ and by chance, found ourselves in the area again today .
A quick find, with the bungy cord and container all in good condition . TNLNSL.
Thanks Richary and Team Waldron for keeping this cache active for so long (our oldest find for the day) [^].

I found broken bottles and dead bushes. Many bushes seem to have died in the heat. No cache found today though but lots of human billy goats here this morning at 9am. I didn't know it was such a popular track at this hour. I wonder if the cache is still there?
After putting together the pieces and checking with a friend,
had a look at GZ around 5am in the dark.
bad move it seems - couldn't find the box, but found empty bottles, cig packets, allsorts...
hope it's still there somewhere. Will check back.

Mr Tardis started this cache over four years ago. To be honest I'd forgotten about it and today I was nearby, saw it in the GPS and decided to finish it off.
It was really nice to find the original logbook still in good condition. Even after all the rain the container is nice and dry inside.
Signed the log. Thanks for the history lesson and cache richary & Team Waldron.

Having just had a nice dinner in Glenelg with Ismartis we needed a cache to find so we decided what better way to spend the evening than travelling around the area visiting some historical sites and hopefully finding a cache at the end of it all. [?] [?]
So off we set to WP1 - haven't been there since my school years many moons ago, and how nice it looks all lit up. Gather the info, complete the calculations and head off to WP2.
Have driven past this location many times but have never stopped. Luckily we were here before the gates closed so were able to gather what we needed to make the next calculations and head off to WP3. [^]
Another place I visited many times in my youth. More info and more calculations, off to WP4 a very familiar area where I used to spend many hours as a kid and these days frequent the area regularly. So more calculations in the car and off to WP5.
This is also another deja vu moment and at this waypoint we stayed in the car to gather the required numbers and worked out the coordinates for the final.
Knew the area of GZ very well, parked the car and with torches ablaze we set off to find the elusive prize. We were not sure we would find it as it hadn't been found for so long. Had a bit of a search in one area, then Ismartis headed off a little further on and soon an "I found it" Boy, were we happy, what a great ending to a great adventure.
The cache was a bit exposed, but the contents were dry and in good order. Had a look at the contents and signed the log. It looks like a muggle had found it and put his name in the log. We were not sure if this was the correct hide, but we replaced the cache and put some more camo around it.
Thanks for the cache and the great night time adventure Team Waldron, I thoroughly enjoyed this one as it took me back to some very familiar places.

After having a pleasant Indian dinner at Glenelg, having our first wherigo experience & collecting our 1st pan galactic gargle blaster ingredient, and finding JJ52's local nemesis cache we decided to embark on a historical journey of the area by doing this multi.
The first way point had a very interesting tree which I'm not sure if I've ever visited before. We collected the required info and did our maths and then on to the next waypoint we went, collected more info, did more maths.................. At one point we both made an error and our calculations had us going to Clare for the next waypoint. We knew that was wrong and soon found the error and were on our merry way again.
At about waypoint 4 JJ52 says I hope the cache is actually there (after all this work), have you looked to see if there are any DNF's? So I have a look and there are no DNF's but I notice the cache hasn't been found for quite a long time, 17 months its been unloved since Locus Cache last visited. This is quite an exciting discovery and gets us keen to push through & finish the multi tonight.
Finally we are on the way to claim the prize , we get to some big bushes and I say I think its going to be in here. After a couple of precursory looks JJ52 decides to head around to the back of the bush and I go around the side spotting it almost immediately as some of the foliage has died back and the cache is rather exposed.
We find that indeed there has been another visitor to the cache since Locus Cache , but we decide its just a muggle child that has stumbled across the cache by accident, phew.......... [^][^][^]. HAPPY, HAPPY!!!!
We shift the cache by about 1 foot and cover it with a bit of cammo to give it some more protection. Thanks for a very interesting adventure and multi cache Team Waldron!

Found on a wander with Honeysucker, LocusCache and Firesafe. Thanks Team Waldron for the hide!
Today I teamed up with Honeysucker, Locus Cache and CP Wanderer for a 16 hour caching day caching areas south of Adelaide finishing up in Victor Harbor around 2:30 am.
We hit around 100 caches on the day, even making 2 FTF runs (one in Aberfoyle Park from Hallet Cove and the other at Mt Compass from Aldinga). The second FTF coincided with my 10000 find.
Busy here this morning and even had one of those car alarm incidents when honeysucker opened the car door through the window while we were searching. TFTC.

This was another case of a full on day caching!
I was out with the boys: firesafe, CP Wanderer and Honeysucker and had the luxury of driving a Prado with free diesel for the day, thanks to a friend of mine [^]
Somehow, though, Prado got interpreted as Tarago by our usually extremely competent navigator and so we mainly did urban caches rather than rural ones where the vehicle's potential could have been more full utilised but it was still a hugely fun day and all up I attempted to locus cache at 95 caches: 89 successfully and 6 DNFs
Thank you, gentlemen, for the company and laughs and huge congratulations to firesafe on his 10,000th cache [^] [^] .....which just happened to require a 23km fast run from Aldinga to Mt Compass for the FTF (and our 2nd FTF for the day [^] ). Belated congratulations to Honeysucker, too, for his 6,000th find [^]
For a short while, we were starting to think that maybe we might not find this one and I had just started to ring the 'happy cacher' in a recent photo when the others made the find
History lessons and driving are two things that I enjoy and so this was a great cache to complete

Did this with muff1 and even thouth I have lived in area for many years I have never seen a couple of the features. Had to search off site due to unusual circumstances. Today we did the final leg on a perfect day. We just had to stop and have lunch near by. Thanks Team Waldron.
We have done this one slowly over several days, on arrival at one waypoint the info was missing, so though that we may have been able to find it on the internet. No such luck but Byercat had discovered where the info had gone, so off we went and gathered what we needed to move to the point. Today we headed to the final GZ with the feeling that we may not come up with the goods as it had not been found for a long time and the previous was a DNF. The caching gods were with us as we found a cache, it is dry and in good condition. See photo. SL TFTC
Oh no! After grabbing all the waypoints in one evening I couldn't find the cache!!! muggles BBQing nearby held me back for a while, but after their departure my luck didn't change. Will have to return with more daylight up my sleeve next time...
I think I've been doing this one on and off since I started caching. Now many years later, I find myself at the long sought GZ, and I can't find the cache! After a moment of panic, I looked around more carefully, and spotted the edge of the container. No idea what the hint meant.
Anyway, it feels good to have finally completed the trail. And good that the cache has been kept active long enough for me to complete it!
TNLN - Thanks Team Waldron & Richary!

The geokids and I started the journey on Sunday; however it took a while to move through each waypoint as plenty of playing and exploring was required! I showed up to WP5 with Waterlogged tonight to finish off and find the final. We were not sure about the final location, until Waterlogged discovered the cache before I even had a chance to get in there with the GPS. Thanks Team Waldron for keeping this great multi alive!
did this over a period of time and got the final eventually

Thanks Team Waldron & thanks Richary for the original hard work.
Having done all the hard yards (and some of them were VERY hard!), we were thwarted by that big 'Do Not Enter' sign and figured we might've been in the wrong place. It turns out we weren't, so with the owner's permission, we're logging a find for a) the hard yards done, and b) being in the right place which is in fact the wrong place. Thanks to richary for bringing us around all these places and to Team Waldron for maintaining and letting us log. .
I went with Trail06 to find this one.
We came across the "Re-vegetation Area. Don Not Enter"sign. We eventually located the cache, but I've removed it until I can decide, after discussion with Richary, it's fate.
There is no sign at one entrance spot but the sign at the other is pretty clear and with a previous searcher mentioning it, most people do enter past the sign.

I have tried finding this cache so many times and I was pleased to have an experienced cacher join me today.
It was still a tough ask and it had me crawling through bushes and getting scratched by thorns.
And then, that cry that I always love, found it!

Finally, we found it on our second attempt, it took quite a bit of searching, scratches on our arms but we found a intact, dry lunchbox with the ocky strap still in place, gathered the clues quite a while ago and was in the area today decided to have another go, not to many muggles around on a beautiful public holiday afternoon. TNLN TFTC Team Waldron
Having taken many months to get each stage, one at a time, the final spot looked promising (and validated, too). Mr O and pram-bound Sir Maxy turned up to find a wire fence with a 'Do Not Cross' sign. The area was nonetheless searched, but nothing was found. We'll try again when circumstances are a little more favourable!
It can be surprisingly hard to spot, even for the person who placed it. When I still lived in Adelaide had to check it once or twice and it does blend in very well for a fair size lunchbox. Once at the waterhole, go in the path between the surrounding bushes and the hole and it should be on the northern side, unless it has moved! Hope it is still all OK, I enjoyed placing that one as it took a bit of effort.

With A having found the cache a long time ago, it was like a new hunt for her again. A made the find, and pointed to it, but it wasn't until I had my hand nearly on the cache that I saw it.
Plenty of muggles around, but none here thankfully.
There was even water in the billabong, so much so that it had even trickled out onto the path.
A nice spot to wet your whistle, though the whistle has long gone.
Good to finally finish this one.

Managed all the waypoints ok but failed to find the cache at GZ, from the logs it seems we were in the right spot but may have not looked hard enough, will try another day as it has been a while since the last finder TFT tour

A long time between finds but it is still there intact and dry. The trail is an interesting look at the history of this part of SA. Thanks Team Waldron for your help. Left TB Shelby's Share Bear.
Had a nice afternoon finishing this one off after starting about a week ago. Great series of landmarks and found the cache safely in its hide. Spent a bit of time looking and we were a bit worried when we found evidence of kids making a home base here for games. The gz was quite accurate so that really helped. Finally visited end after doing the Northern points back in July and September.
GZ is quite a quiet spot with a minor fence around the area now, but the paths are still readily available. Surprised to see a small pond there too.
Came in from the cache above (40 visits in 7 months) to get to this one (28 visits in 4.5 years) (I guess stats don't lie about cachers seeming to avoid multis [B)]).
Kids and Mrs C enjoyed the playground whilst I was left to the hunt. Took a little while for the GPSr to settle and then a big of a dig around to spot.
Enjoyable finding such an old log book still with plenty of room in.
Took a patch and left a shark to enjoy the surrounds.
Visited our TB
Readily recommend this as a great cache to do if heading South from the start.
(Plus it was good to eliminate from our "Close to home" list, even though GZ wasn't; plus it completes one of our goal caches for the year.)
TFTC Richary, and thanks Waldon's for adopting it.

Forty-one of forty-three cache finds for the day in the company of dak’s Emu Mob, the cache was found at 22:00. I was not sure if I was ever going to make it to the end of this one as it took all day as we ducked and weaved our way down the coast, I really loved the history and places visited along the way. Thanks richary for the cache.
I started this multi about 3 years ago with Lambchops but never completed it. about 6 or 8 months ago I couldn't find it then and then lost all the info just like the other series caches I keep losing.
Finally I got the chance to log this cache

Found a new clue at Stage 1 to replace the missing mulberry one. Please download the updated description before attempting!!!
Stumped at WP1. The plaque for the mulberry tree is missing. Probably been vandalised, we have had that experience with a cache of ours.
May need to be temporarily disabled until the plaque is replaced.
