Logs

27-Oct-07
seems to have gone amiss so will let this one go for now and let someone else place a cache near if they choose

19-Oct-07
As a previous finder, I can confirm it is no longer there.

30-Jul-07
At least those 2 logs confirms my suspicions!!!

30-Jul-07
Will take a look to see if it is still there.

28-Jul-07
You want interesting logs, try this one then - DNF!

There were games happening all around today, but little activity near GZ. I searched through all of the holes as best I could, while pretending to talk on my phone, gaze into the distance, etc. Poked into a few likely areas... I'm pretty sure there's no regular size cache in there.

27-Jul-07
I had to come down to Adelaide at short notice for a few days (first time in nearly 20 years) so took the opportunity to revisit somewhere I had not been since a kid.

I had my brother with me for this part of the day.. His first DNF... and mine for the trip...

21-Jul-07
Had a wonder over to GZ between my under 18's game, and the A grade game today.
Unlike last time, i couldn't lay eyes on the cache, but that doesn't mean its not there, just that there were too many people around so i couldn't raise attention to myself (seem to do well enough at that out on the field!!!), in having a proper look for it

will be interesting to see the next couple of logs

31-Mar-07
Since i was umpiring here today, was a good chance to glance at this cache to ensure it was safe.

Cache is still sitting safe and sound in its hiding spot. was only able to get a visual on it today, as even though it was only a trial game, there are still quite a few muggles around the place

24-Mar-07
found it together with Thor Heyerdahl
thanks

24-Mar-07
There was a Cricket-Game on the Place but wwe found this one.
Thanks and Greetings from Germany!

26-Feb-07
Curse my large hands! Found it easily enough, hard to get access to (for me, not so hard for others I would think), but after a bit of fiddling I got it. Took the patch and left some teeth.
Nice hide, thanks for the thrill of the chase!!

23-Feb-07
Found @ appropx. 20:00

8th for the day.
A quick dash around adelaide after work, to pickup a few outstanding caches before I have to return to Melbourne.

Easily found, not so easily retrieved.
Nomuggles in sight, but raining heavily.

Took superball
Left patch.

Thanks for the hunt.

18-Feb-07
Once the GPS settled down found this one OK. A bit tight but otherwise no problems. Nice Hide TFTC TNLN

11-Feb-07
A few muggles present for the sunday cricket action but soon departed to the oval. Took Fishy TB. TFTC

11-Feb-07
Finding this one was easy. Retrieving the cache was a bit tricky. Lots of muggles near but not close enough to worry me.
Took out a bear and left a ball.
Thanks for a quick find which makes up for the ones that took a lot lot longer later in the day to find.

Found today, easy one but a few muggles about.

12-Jan-07
Was in the area so couldn't resist a quick cache find. Dropped off Fishy TB recently collected from northern New South Wales. Thanks for the cache. Cheers!

12-Jan-07
We were having dinner in the area and this cache was close so we decided it would make a nice after dinner walk. Our friend had never been geocaching but he found it without too much problem just as the sun was setting. TNLNSL. Thanks!

11-Jan-07
GSAK somehow exported the wrong co-ords into the GPSr (although admittedly it could have been my fault). Fortunately the 2nd GPSr had us on track quickly. Very easy to retrieve the cache however muggle o'clock struck so we had to wait them out (by finding another cache of course).

06-Jan-07
Sorry for the late log on this one. Found on a Sat morning w/ the father from USA and my Geokids in tow. No one was around and had this one almost logged before Dad noticed it was in my hand Wink. TNLNSL.

29-Dec-06
Found easily with mini Calumpher on a quiet Friday arvo, whilst baby Calumpher slept in his seat. Had to wait a while to put back as muggle came and parked in the carpark - then drove off after just sitting there for 10 minutes.[?]
Retrieved Signal Geocoin left previously by Fore!.
Left dog finger puppet;
Took some ballons.

This was the 3rd of 29 caches in Adelaide that Shadow! and I (from the ACT) tackled over 4 days whilst visiting my family. What a great excuse to go caching in a new environment!

We took geomum, geodad and geoniece along (so that they thought we were spending quality time with them!) - they're certainly becoming experts!

Found this one at 1:25pm after geomum insisted on walking from "Like a Iceberg" (what's with that grammar, anyway???) and liked the hide. We did, however, see the same hide location a further three times in our Adelaide travels - it seems to have caught on.

TFTC. TN L: Floppy Flyer

28-Dec-06
Found it with Fore! and geofamily from SA. 3rd for the day and a nice walk from previous find to this one, dragging geo-niece the whole way. Another that pays to be tall and interestingly, one of three we have done in a similar 'hide style'. Must be a local tradition. Dodge the delivery man and an easy find.

TNLN Fun Big Grin

28-Dec-06
Oh yeah, dropped off Signal Frog geocoin!

16-Dec-06
Cycled down to Westfield Marion for some shopping and decided to go via this cache on the way home. Lots of locals playing cricket on the oval, but the cache location was out of their eyesight so I was unlikely spotted.

Took racing car, left earplugs, signed log.
TFTC

10-Nov-06
An easyt find with a tricky extraction. TNLN Thanks.

25-Oct-06

For our 200th this cache was found real easily, the cache was visable from a long way away, retreived, signed log and hidden a lot better than it was found.

21-Oct-06
We had the cache in hand in a flash. Took fish keyring and left a toy car. The problem was an inpromptu muggle meeting near cache before we could put it back. Gave up waiting and returned an hour later to replace.TFTC

10-Oct-06
The whole gang (-geodog)on bikes tonight.
Cricket practice was happening, got heaps of funny looks. We decided that it was time to go & as we rode off towards the sunset (clue maybe) dogma spotted the....well that would be too much. dogmatic retrieved said cache & we were all happy.
Usual swaps TFTC.

05-Oct-06
Nice small hands of geokid2 was able to lure this one out ok.TNLN.......TFTC

04-Oct-06
Found straight away, but it took almost 1 min to coax it out of its cover.

04-Oct-06
Our first cache. We are hooked. Fantastic location and very innovative.

02-Oct-06
Fantastic location. First cache.

01-Oct-06
Stealth worked this one out as we were driving up, it was just a matter of extracting the cache. It needed someone a little taller than me! The rain started just as we opened the cache, but was soon past. TFTC!

01-Oct-06
Nice hiding spot. Left kangaroo keyring, took bubbles.

I took a bit to get this cache out of its hidy spot. Nice name & TFTC.

20-Sep-06
Easy find once the clue kicked in. T caterpillar, left miss piggy. Nice tight fit this one. Thanks again Goddess Athena.

Last one for today. Would have been an inconspicuous hit except for leaving the car lights on and accidentally hitting the car alarm button (oops!). Difficult for the height challenged. Found it relatively easily in the end. Replaced it so not accidentally found. Left balloon animal balloon, took Piglet. TFTC

18-Sep-06
After circumnavigating the area a couple of times, I twigged to the location.
took thunderbird 2, left worm.

Then returned a few hours later whilst coming home from school with mini-mustard (after a DNF at "Power Up, People") and took robot, left thunderbird 2.

09-Sep-06

Found 13:45. 8th FFTD. Quick find, cache needs some re-camoflaging. TNLNSL. TFTC

05-Jul-06
We knew where this cache was as soon as we pulled up though the extraction was to prove quite problematic !!! Firstly, a car full of people was waiting at the door - they eventually moved on - then, the cache will only come out in one way.

Thanks to the Goddess for the cache.

EDIT - Wrong Date

24-Jun-06
Checked up on this cache today, since i had footy next to GZ. Was able to spot it from a fair distance away, so re-hid the cache better where it cant be seen. Future finders need to make sure that it is replaced out of sight, as it could walk easily.

As for the days football, Brighton won by 102 points, so i would have rather been out caching, especially as we were threatened as we walked off the oval at the end of the game.

06-Jun-06
This was a good cache. Easy to spot when you get the title! Extraction took some thought but I managed it. This was one of 35 finds today. Thanks

30-May-06
Well i dont think spode would have had too many hassles with muggles, afterall they were probably all asleep.

Whilst the match was only Southern Football League, not SANFL, the result was interesting
Brighton 47.24(306) hackham 0.2(2)
needless to say it was all one way.
mind you the score wasnt quite as large as the one i was involved in(only just).
Happy Valley 49.21(315) aldinga 0.1(1)

27-May-06
Took me 6 tries but I found it, I can't believe it was so easy to see. Was a challenge with an SANFL game going on! TNLN.

01-Apr-06
Found quickly but took a while to extract. Deja vu with this one from somewhere to the north. Wink

26-Feb-06
Interesting cache, lots of muggles had to be careful but saw that it wasn't well hidden left balloons easy find

24-Feb-06
Found at 2200hrs. A few cars in the carpark, but no muggle activity around the desired location. Very surprised to see it just sitting there, see it was once painted black, but not anymore. Scurried back to the geoCruze to open it up. TNLNSL. Thanks Goddess Athena.

11-Feb-06
TNLNSL

This was a last-minute decision after I picked up Max from the cricket, so we had no GPS, no map, no instructions! We avoided the muggle-cricketers getting drunk, and sidled around trying not to look too suspicious - and bingo!

Good hide.

05-Feb-06
Far too many sporting types here to even bother pulling over for a look. May visit again on a weekday.

29-Jan-06
I'm amazed it's still there. It can be seen from the distance. I guess muggles look at other things.
Took a post-it pad, left a green wheeled thing.
Thanks!

24-Jan-06
Found it as the senior citz were just finishing up, do you have any idea how long it takes 20-30 elderly people to say goodbye and drive away. Grabbed the cache between departing groups, then had to wait about 20mins before we could put it back. Husband thought we looked like we were waiting for a drug deal to go down. All said and done, clever little spot. TNLNSL. Cheers.

20-Jan-06
Easy find, but the muggle would never notice it!

09-Jan-06
Pretty warm today so not many muggles about. Could see when looking straight at the 'checkerboard' from about 5 metres away.

Took Star puzzle
Left Robot finger puppet

Thanks for the cache

07-Jan-06
No 14 of 14 for the day. Party going on at the location, lots of Muggles everywhere. Barra 4 spotted it, we managed to grab it without being spotted. Took it back to the car to check it out. Took 5 Pence Left 5 Cents and Stamps.
Problem trying to put it back because of Muggles present.
Went off to find DUH cache and came back later and put it back safely. Cheers from the Barramundi's

06-Jan-06
LOL, I see SueDenHarr say ‘found after a short walk’. That was my fault, I misread the GPSr and circled the structure before returning to where the vehicles where parked to find the cache only metres away. Interesting hiding spot. TFTH

18-Dec-05
We first tried to find this cache a few months ago but lots of activity so didn't really stick around for long but had an idea of where it was located.
Always drive past this place and always lots of people around.
So finally we drove past today and there wasn't anyone around so we popped in to have a look. Spotted easily from the car, however last time I dont recall seeing anything in this spot. I think it moves around a bit. The lid of the cache was dislodged, so clicked back in place and tried to hide the cache so it wasn't clearly visible to muggles. No swaps made.

11-Dec-05
Arrived at GZ and sat in the shade to read the cache notes. No problem finding and logging the cache as there were no muggles around in the 35+ heat.

25-Oct-05
Actually found this a month ago, but could not retrieve it, muggle kids everywhere, wouldn't leave so I gave up waiting. Came back today to do some caches in the west, and wouldn't you know it, senior cits muggles all arriving for a meeting! Came back about an hour later while they were all inside! Just had to contend with a muggle maintenance man..... waiting, waiting.... eventually he left so I could put it back!

Found this on the way to town. Goddess Athena must have small hands. Nearly got sprung by the muggles cleaner but all was cool.

Thanks Goddess Athena

18-Oct-05
Another one on the cache-whoring(tm) trip by bicycle. Actually, the bicycle came in handy because I wouldn't have been able to extract it from its hidey hole without the extra height gained by standing on the pedals!
TNLNSL.
Thanks Goddess

08-Oct-05
Nice place for a cache but the muggles can be a problem
TNLNSL

06-Oct-05
We eventually found this on after quiet a lot of looking. A clever hide.
TNLNSL
Thanks

03-Oct-05
Found quite easily, though it took the fairer of two of us to retreive the cache due to my larger hands. Picked this one up while riding home from the Glenelg food and wine festival. TNLNSN, cheers.

10-Sep-05
Tried 3 times, I think I understand the clue but can't find anything. Is it still there?

21-Jun-05
Pulled up here as the rain was again threatening hoping for a quick find. The GPS had us searching in the wrong place so once again we got wet. Found the clever little hidey hole as the skies really opened up
TNLNSL
Thanks Goddess Athena for the cache

13-Jun-05
Another interesting cache in the nice city of Adelaide. After a brief search the cache was found but took a few minutes to retrieve it.
TNLN
Many thanks Goddess Athena for the cache.

13-Jun-05

found another nice one from the Geo-goddess.
it was realy quiet here on the holiday monday

took a can opener

left a chess piece for the board and a highlighter pen

thanks goddess.

--------------------------
p.s. it's a pity they are going to cut down all those beautiful trees. they say the pine cones are a hazard!!!

12-Jun-05
Nice hide, easy find due to lack of alternatives. Took pink mouse, left peg.

05-Jun-05
Nice cache, found easily. Had to wait a bit to replace it as there was a lot of activity going on.
Took: Phone Socket
Left: Bottle opener.
Thanks for the cache

25-May-05
The name says it all. TNLN used the post it note pad as the new log which I signed. Yet another cache with simple drive up access...beautiful Cheers.

23-May-05
Easy find. Weren't sure if we should use the post-it pad as the log book, so left a piece of paper.

Thanks for the cache Goddess Athena.

Woha! There's a coincidence! 1 trip away and we log out 150th traditional and our 200th cache with the same cacher! CoolVery coolCool

15-May-05
First attempt there was a delivery guy parked along side, so I waited... he decided to sit in the cab and have lunch!
Today was deserted. Thanks.

07-May-05
Took a while to find due to many muggles playing sports.
dont think outside the square, but think inside.
Took nocia charger. Left post-it pad,car fuse and a small spoon.
thanks

23-Apr-05
Had a good idea where it was the first visit but didn't search well enough! Returned today and found. Took a telephone cable and added a 'Smile for Life' badge and a car charger for Nokia phones.

09-Apr-05
Tried this one about a year ago when we were very new to caching and couldn't find it. Went back today and found easily - it is well hidden though. Miray has rarely been to such a well equipped site, with tools such as a ladder and other items to stand on if necessary, and a sheltered spot with tables and chair to inspect your find! There was no log book or pencil in the cache. We replaced the pencil, but didn't have a spare log book with us. TN, left US1c coin. Thanks.

03-Apr-05
No swaps today.

Don't know about it being overly visible, I certainly had to look for it and I think its' hidden well enough.

Thanks!

25-Mar-05
Easy find. Muggles walking dogs but out of the way. Cache is so visible it's a wonder it hasn't been taken. Needs a re-paint. Left mouse and klem bear. Took belt clip key ring. No log book inside the container. Thanks Goddess Athena.

27-Feb-05
The name of the cache just hit me!!!

Took top, left Australian coins

13-Feb-05
At last, 3rd time lucky. First visit there was a maintenance guy on the roof, next time they were playing cricket, no muggles tonight, all was very quiet! TNLN
Thands Goddess Athena.

12-Feb-05
The Muggles were playing cricket nearby and were more interested in that.
TNLNSL

25-Jan-05
Nice and quite here today. Must be too hot. Took pliers guy and left some fun bubbles.

16-Jan-05
As already stated the Cache name made it fairly clear it was just a matter of finding it and doing it descreetly as the nearby oval was in use and there were a number of muggles around. Now 98 caches and left feeling confident of scoring my Ton thanks to the Goddess. TNLNSL, cheers.

15-Jan-05
After wandering around for a while, and forgetting what the name of the cache was, we gave up and went and found DUH!. Whilst finding DUH!, it clicked with me what the name of this cache was. Upon our return, we had it in our hands within a minute.

Signed the log, and left a small plastic dinosaur.

10-Jan-05
Drivin by and noted a nearby cache. Walked straight up to it thinking 'it must be in there' and it was! That doesn't happen very often. Took a mastedon & left a dinosaur. Cheers

29-Dec-04
Took a while to find, but name gave it away!

27-Dec-04
3rd for the day. we give thanks to the Goddess Athena.

24-Dec-04
The straight on aproach did not work very well. Looking from an angle was productive almost immediately. Very creative!

21-Dec-04
Easy find.

Took Whoopee Cushion, left "glass" bird from Duh.

Was quite easy to see, so I have replaced in same location but have made it a bit harder to see.

10-Dec-04
Second attempt with GPSr not wondering as much, found it after short search and wait for the muggles to leave, I think they thought I was going to rob the place as I had the trailer on my car. Lovely night for it, Geocaching that is
TNLNSL

05-Dec-04
Found 17:45. Nice and easy, when you lift your eyes a bit Smile Left Phone cable, took nothing.

27-Nov-04
Found at 9:55, my second for the day. I could see it from some distance, so I don’t know whether it was sitting exactly where it was meant to be. Most of the paint has come off the container. No swap was made. Thanks Goddess Athena for the cache.

14-Nov-04
Second of three caches this afternoon (other caches being: DUH!, Arkanoid).

Found 14/11/04 (14th November) @ 6:10pm by Paul (Team Stargazer). Couldn't see the relevance of the name of the cache till I spotted the cache itself in it's hiding spot. Only a few muggles to contend with but nothing too strenuous ... till it came time to retrieve the cache that is ... dam thing didn't want to come out without a fight, very tight squeeze! [xx(]

Took: Jap plane
Left: Blue bug man

Thanks to the Goddess Athena [^]

22-Oct-04
When I first visited this cache at around 1515, the area was as busy as King William Street! Car after car came into the area, and in two out of three cases, the drivers didn't get out. I thought that there must've been some sort of event starting, so I left to find another cache. I had to pass the spot again on the way to "DUH!", and I noticed the car park was completely empty! Then the penny dropped! My last visit coincided with going home time for the nearby school. Going by the name of the cache, I reckoned I knew where to look. I found it in the third place I looked at 1555. Tenth of sixteen Western Suburbs caches for the day.

IN: Key ring clip
OUT: Mondo figure

10-Oct-04
A tricky find with a few people about at GZ. Took awhile to find, looking at the likely spot but not seeing anything… then finally realising there WAS something there! A bit tricky to extract but much easier to replace. TNLNSL.

08-Oct-04
Like Phrodo, I didn’t twig to the significance of the name until after I had found it Red Face. I thought it would be where it was, but didn’t see it for a while, prompting me to investigate every other nook and cranny nearby. Eventually spotted it, but took some time to winkle it out of its hidey-hole. Took the carabina and left a whoopee cushion. Thanks GA

30-Sep-04
Found 11:45, a nice easy find Wink

TNLN, thanks to the Goddess Athena.
