This is the second time this cache has been muggled , so it's time to put it to bed for good. RIP wombat 2.

15-Jul-09
This was actually our second attempt to find this one. Yesterday we enjoyed the walk to first cache and hidden coordinates but there were too many muggles around to do an extensive search at where we thought the real cache was. Spent ages today to no avail. Did find a biro at the location and discarded pack of textas nearby. Am concerned that cache has been muggled. Unless our caching skills are just not up to scratch.
Try again another day.
Thanks Team Wombat.

A lovely walk around this interesting and scenic location. Loved the views. We found the cache with no problems but after reading that it was a new log book realized it must have been recently muggled. Thanks to previous cacher and team wombat for the cache.

10-May-09
Found the first way point and was a little surprised as I wasn't expecting a multi. Perhaps I should read the cache description before starting. I completed the complete circuit and had a most enjoyable walk. At the cache location I had to wait for the area to clear before starting my search.

Sadly I have to report that the cache container was found out in the open and the contents spread around. I could not find the log book so a spare book was left.

Again had to wait for the area to clear before replacing the cache. Not to sure of where the cache was originally placed, appologies if its off slightly.

Thanks for the cache.

We found it Smile.

Pretty hard to found but a great place to hide. great lookout and environment as well.

Really enjoyed the walk it was nice and refreshing.
really worth it in the end with the nice seabreeze coming into where we were sitting.

14-Mar-09
Nice walk along the paths - there and back as started at the hill top look out thingy.

15-Feb-09
What a beautiful area... And thank you for the excellent instructions!

19-Jan-09
Found this Cache pretty quick, very nice spot but be aware of car thieves in this area. Some muggles told us that there was a breakin just shortly before we startet. Also our car got broken into the next day while we were on Penguin Island - seems like Rockingham is a dangerous place... unfortunately as we really like the area.

Absolutely beautiful spot. We had some trouble finding the first waypoint but persistence paid off. Took the travel bug and left 1000 Rp (Indonesian) note.

02-Mar-08
We had been in this location the last time we were in WA and were pleased to see another cache in the area to lure us back. Enjoyed the short walk to the waypoint and found the cache relatively easily. Chatted for a while to some English tourists who arrived at GZ just as we were about to grab it. Once they had gone I did the log thing while Auzee kept an eye out for other muggles. No swaps but left a TFTC card. Cheers Wombats Big Grin

Perhaps there is something different about directions (such as left and right!) between Tasmania and WA????? Don’t know what happened, but we ended up approaching the waypoint from the wrong direction!!! Then chose to leave from the wrong direction and take a scenic route back to the car – only to find that the man with the video camera was standing exactly where he was when we left. Fortunately he left fairly soon after and we were able to retrieve and log the cache. TN, L frog. Thanks!

Nice walk. We enjoyed the views and saw a beach we didn't know about, namely Mangles Bay. Didn't realise this cache was a multi until we found the first waypoint. Walked back and found the cache quite easily at 8:20pm, a good spot to sit and hide from muggles while writing up the log. We didn't notice a 'special item' in the cache though. Took nothing. Left "Trust No-one" alien geocoin. Thanks for the hunt Team Wombat.

We did this cache immeditately after Rockigham Rocks but failed to realise that we could have parked in the same spot to do both! After finding Rockingham Rocks, we decided to climb the hill to check out the gun bunker, climbed back down, into the car, and drove to the end of the street before reading the cache description. so by the end we had climbed that bloody hill three times! A great double banger.Beautiful place on a great day to get out and walk around.Found the first one easy. The second one took a little bit longer.Thank you for the exercise it was great.

02-Apr-06
What a walk - we had fun and found it without too much trouble - took 40 minutes all up.

Cache contained - a paper/cardbaord game sheet, sunglasses, plastic mouse and snake, toy car, blue lanyard with Best Friends written on it and of course the good old calling cards.

Unfortunatley we had forgotten to take our calling card with us - but thanks for the fun oh and the good views along the way.

Suggest future searchers take some water to drink - as it can get quite warm even this late.

Final find logged at 4.55pm - Yellow Fang

Now I've gone paperless I don't have to miss any so I remembered this one was here which I wanted to do when I did Rockingham Rocks but forgot the printout. Found the WP after a stroll round the paths and as I can't walk as far as I was supposed to I retraced my steps. It took me a while to find the cache even though I kept looking at it. It just didn't seem to register on the brain for 10 mins or so. Too much sea air.

Enjoyed the walk along the paths. Watched fishermen catching blowies next to the waypoint but they soon moved on and I was able to recover the cache coordinates without being seen. As I left a large group of new fishermen arrived to try their luck at the same spot and didn't believe the ones that had just left could only catch blowies.

Signed log. TNLN. Thanks for the cache.

Joined the Janale Girls and 15yr old Bronwyn the Jack Russell x Corgi for our afternoon excercise...let me just say that Bronwyn and I slept most of the way home after this one!! Still the sea air was nice and I got to have a run and a paddle along the beach and happily filled the back of the car with sand! Smile

A great after school walk for the boys of the crew, fantastic scenery around here that more people should really get to see.
Found the first cache easily by following the instructions, second cache was easy to find but harder to get at as there were several school camp trips in the area.

Took: Golf Ball, game.

Left: Mouse, Snake, Sunglasses

Second WA cache for us, again in the company of my sister.
We got caught in a downpour between waypoints and must have looked a treat scurrying together under one bright green umbrella.
Then the sun burst forth when we reached the final cache site and the views were picture postcard spectacular. Stunning coastline.
Had no trade items with us, so TNLNSL.
Thanks for showing us this excellent place.

We couldn't understand the directions so we followed the GPS. On the way back the directions made sense. The cache was very visible from the track but we had to wait for a group of people to leave. We waited for them and they waited for us. It turned out we wanted to sneak a cache and one of the group wanted to sneak a pee. I waited for him to find a spot and called out "I see you". He had a few spots down the front of his pants as he walked away.

The waypoint was an easy find just a little tricky to recover with all the people about.

The area was an excellent walk this afternoon just a few little black bugs. (that had me concerned after walking up the steps until I worked out they were actually bugs and not spots in my eyes)

We took nothing and left a small dog collar.
Thanks.

This is my first find. Wahoo!!

Figured out on the beach where I would eventually end up and those damn steps more than once is a bit much. Smile Oldtimers kick in and convinced that fitness levels need working on. Excellent walk and now knowing what to look for in locating caches will take in more of surrounds in future.
thanks for the intro, the possiblities are endless now and the kids wont know whats hit them when i get home.

Finally went back to get this one! Found with wot at sunset. We met and talked with a local photographer at GZ who seemed mildly interested as I went into the bush and pulled out the cache... Wink
When I first came for this cache back in June, I had takeaway and sat METRES away looking at the view eating before going to find it.
Left a game CDROM and took some photos.

We got to the first coords, saw a brown snake which darted off into a bush, the GPS pointed to a bush next to it. We weren't game to put our hands in that one either, but the coords were right. I grabbed a stick to probe around with and found the clue cache. No drama finding the real cache but it's not far from muggles territory. Try not to step on the lizards sunning on the path, saw a few of them, too, just love to see them and feel bad when they have to vacate their sunny area. T:Planned on taking nothing but the wind was blowing a gale and blew the poncho out and since we were having a hard time getting the lid on we just took it! L:pen - What an experience!

Just been down to check the co-ords and final cache, all in good condition & dry.

Dropped off one of our sort after wombats, you will need to be quick if you want to pick up one of these wombats, don't forget to feed her.

We found it but we did have to call for assistance. The first location had us baffled. We assumed the coodinates to be correct but after pushing and pulling at the succlulent leaves we could still not find anything that looked remotely like it was to do with cacheing. We made a quick phone call for a bit of detail and realised just how close we had been. (coodinates are within 2m) We lifted the "Skirt" and the container fell out at our feet. We took out a waypoint tag and edited the figures in the GPS so we could find the Final cache. We had a few muggles walk past while doing the cache so you almost need to have eyes in the back of your head. No one seemed to think we were up to anything except photo taking, its such a good cover story. We found the final cache easily and wrote out the log sitting on the park bench up the top where the view is. Placing the cache back too over 30 minutes as visitor after visitor rocked up and had a look around, but patience paid off and we replaced the cache and went back to the car. Very good cache even though the first waypoint is a bit hard to find. A ribbon tied to something near the area could be helpful if you are as myopic as we seem to be lately.

22-Aug-04
Found it!

We thought we had a Geo-Race on with another family who were behind us. The young girl in the family was walking around like a Cacher holding something up in her hand. We were keen to beat these other cachers so the race was on. They caught up to us and it turned out to be a Walkman! HA HA HA

Took Key Ring, Left Whistle.

Great exercise, especially if you don't bring the cache instructions with you and try and wing it. Track file looks like a shattered windscreen.

Lots of walkers around, had to be very sneaky putting the final cache back

My GPS must have had a "bad hair day" last time, as this time it took me to another spot about 7m away. No problems this time as I found the the first waypoint to be exactly where the GPS said. The small lunch box in the zip lock bag is dry and in good condition (despite some heavy storms recently).

The final waypoint was spot on too as I actually trod on it when my GPS showed 0.0m Big Grin Great view. T sand paper, L cool dude stickers. Thanks.

15-Jul-04
I went and checked on the cache and waypoint container today and both are still where they are supposed to be. I've added the co-ord's for the waypoint cache as I had a 3 meter error but allowing for GPS error that's pretty good in my book. From memory we also had a 3 meter error when we found it the first time. If you get stuck you can call/sms TLC on the mobile # under my profile in the Australian Forum - http://forum.geocaching.com.au/index.php
Cheers Mike.

After having problems with "Walking with Dinosaurs" I thought I would restore my confidence with this one.

Alas, this was not to be. Perhaps my GPS is out, but I arrived at what I thought was the first waypoint only to search in vein for the coordinates to the next. I was convinced I was at the right spot, as there really didn't seem to be too many other places to hide. The place I was looking was not big enough for a cache, put perfect for hiding a small container or something with the coordinates. I will give it another try when some one else confirms the coordinates are still there.

20-Jun-04
Loved this cache and area. Had a lovely walking around although we haven’t been to the Point previously. Arrived it at the glorious dusk – wish that we brought the camera! Took CD of SW and left a stress ball (you don’t really need to use it there except use it at somewhere else). Travel bugs are destined to the other cache. Luckily there were not many muggles around when we were there. Thanks for great view and great location.

19-Jun-04
So Devar couldn't find it eh!. Coords are spot on for the first location. I had an idea where the final location might have been after reading all of the cache notes, and I was right. Great cache, great spot, great views. T: a new wombat (my first one is in Bali (GC1488)) and the Tigger TB, L: a blue monster from Monsters Inc. Dropped off TB Tigger Loves Caches.

I loved this cache - it took me back to a spot we found through geocaching a year or so ago. On such a lovely sunny day it was great to wander through the paths and along the beach, it reminded me of how great Perth can be. I sort of wish it had been pouring with rain so that I felt more like returning home to Karratha. Back to the cache. I think I stumbled across some of the co-ords or was it just a well educated guess - hmm - I think I will go with the later!!!

Great cache - loved the walk. Thanks all I eagerly await your next one!!!!

Decided to do this one after a sedate lunch and glass of wine at the "Y2K" cafe in town. Had a good walk around an area that we don't visit often enough. Didn't take the Geograndkiddies this time, so left the "Special" present for another finder Smile Thanks Team Wombat for an enjoyable afternoon stroll.
Took nothing.
Left a pink Girls hair accessory.
Signed the log.

Headed out after work for this one close by. The wind was howling and rain threatening but we were determined and "Gizmo" (the dog) led the way. Nice walk maybe we'll do it in better weather next time.
Co-ordinates spot on and because of the weather very little muggles activity, but it could be difficult during weekends in better weather as a muggle could surprise you easily at the final location.
We left the first finders prize because some lucky Geokid is gonna love it!

Took - Nuffin'
Left - Calling card
Thanx for the hunt team wombat.
