Quick stop into the magic Girraween on my way to Tenterfield to complete their new parkrun.Quite the climb, the stairs before the exposed rock were the hardest part, both going up (on the lungs!) and down (on the knees!).Love an ammo tin. Plenty of space in there, but doubt many younger geokids get up here. Thanks for the Cache!

We spent the day doing most of the walks in Girraween NP after staying in Tenterfield last night. The Pyramid was our first target, wow what an amazing climb. We love caches in places like this a definite favourite and our first cache find in Queensland! TFTC.

Cache health check ..
CACHe in great condition. New log book.
Slightly damp but up here in the cave I guess it may never dry properly.
Still a wonderful spot!

What a beautiful place for a geocache.
All in good condition, thanks heaps, awesome.

MattyRx brought a new logbook in a ziplock bag with him today. Cache contents are a little damp and undesirable as water is sneaking past the seal, but otherwise it's all still in working order.

Gosh I love hanging out with my adventure buddy, MattyRx. He takes me to some amazing places! This one was up to the top of a pyramid in Australia! It was a struggle for me getting up the hill, but geez it was worth it! I enjoyed every moment, even the strain to get up there because each time I paused to let the heart settle a little the view was a little different.

Little treasures of this adventure include but are not limited to:
- watching a currawaong sniffing out human food scraps up top;
- climbing over and under rocks that crown the top;
- a "cool" cave at GZ, not that we needed a place to cool down on this perfect weathered day;
- the not-so-little rounded hill just over there with a cache waypoint I'm not going after;
- just sitting and chilling out with the adventure buddy.

A fantastic cache and a fun find. Still in good nik. May benefit from a new notepad in a zip lock bag or something- forgot to bring one!

Does not require maintenance, it is a great geocache. Fun find.

Thanks for putting a cache to make the reward of this difficult hike more than the spectacular view! Decided it was a good idea to scramble over rocks to get to GZ with a phone without a case in a loose pocket. It promptly and predictably fell out and bounced around in a crevice. Luckily it slid out the bottom where I could access it but a little worse for wear.

Climbed up the pyramid. It was a nice sunny day A bit windy, hold onto your hat otherwise you might lose it weather. We checked out the balancing rock, it likes a good jolt and it would tumble down. We then went to the top had something to eat. Then i thought i would give it a go, thought it was going to be behind us but no i then continued on and spotted a spotted skink and then a little while later the cache.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Visiting Stanthorpe for a long weekend & decided to tackle this walk lured by the cache. We thought we had climbed the Pyramid before some 20 years ago when we last visited Girraween but the walk did not seem all that familiar so our memories may not have been very good either way. We commenced the walk along the Granite Arch track past fast flowing waterholes and boulders everywhere in various states of erosion. It was a nice shady walk in the bush but the gradual uphill incline had us fairly puffed by the time we reached the base of this terrawambella. We had a little rest then took our time traversing the steep bare rough rock trying to keep to any crevices for something to hold on to if possible.
Spectacular views in all directions which we admired during our frequent stops on the way. We reached the summit, visited the obligatory balancing rock finding it difficult to get a photo without another person in it as there were quite a few on the climb today. We retreated to the shade beneath some boulders and tried to make our way to gz but were not sure how close to the edge we could without slipping off. Back to the summit again for a better look at the surrounding features and with the help of a previous finder's photo narrowed down the area we needed to get to. From there also managed to see a better route to get there.
Got to gz which was actually a bit precariously close to the edge but on a giant granite dome, the edge is almost everywhere... Found the ammo tin under another boulder as would be expected, signed and retreated to the shade again for another rest before attempting the descent.
We took it slow back down and with very wobbly legs made it back to the rockpools where we wished we'd brought our togs like all the other people cooling off here.
A great walk & great cache to make it even more worthwhile.

A short stay in the granitebelt.
Main reason for the trip was a walk up this mountain.
After a large breakfast and a short drive we set of on our walk.
Passed the Granite arch on the way here.
A final push up the hill and we could enjoy the rewarding wievs.
Picked up a TB

After a long walk out to South Bald Rock, we had about 2hrs before I wanted to begin the drive back to Brisbane. I was keen to tackle this second oldie in the area. I think Wayn0 was less keen having read up on it more and with 18km already in the legs. It certainly looked daunting when we saw the pyramid as we drove in. Wayn0 needed to sit down and have a coffee and a snack. Then we began.

With plenty of rests in the shade along the way, we made it to the top in about 40min and it didn't seem anywhere near as bad as it had looked. The views were amazing all the way up and the rock formations just incredible, especially the balancing rock at the top and the little cave around the back.

We made a quick find and signed the log, completed the earthcache waypoint and contemplated one day coming back to complete the second pyramid. Then we began the walk back down and headed off on the long drive home.

Thanks for the cache

After exploring elsewhere in the National Park it was decided to hit the The Pyramid summit. This is well worth doing! Splendid views up here. The balancing rock is freaky.
Thanks for the cache.

Great climb. A weekend of bushwalking, geocaching and wine tasting. It’s been 15 years since last here and great to find a cache here. We took the slightly harder way as we had summited and was at the balancing rock when I realised the cache was on the other side, so sidled around with a bit of rock scrambling and bushbashing to find the cache. Wonderful view. A fav for many happy memories of this area. Tftc

Wow!

We have numerous pending logs to write for our recent granite belt finds but I had to take the time to get this one out of my system.

I can only assume that it’s the rarity of this cache being found is the reason for the lack of favourites that it possesses.

We took a drive to Girraween today and walked in via the Granite Arch. In itself, something to behold. It was nothing compared to what we were about to discover. Once reaching the base of The Pyramid, we umm’d and ahhh’d as to whether we would walk up. Both big kids decided they’d have a go so who was I to say no to them? Unfortunately only one made it to the top with the other bailing due to the memory of a bad fall the day before caching around granite boulders.

We made it and what an unbelievable experience. Soon after we descended to where the cache is and within a few minutes had located it. The feeling of what was in front of us was like nothing else that we could describe. Had it have not been for this cache being placed here 16 years ago we wouldn’t have decided to go to the top. For this, we are truly grateful to the cache owner. Thank you!

If you are thinking about, do it. There’s every chance that the fear will kick in but the wall (when dry) is extremely grippy and if you have to scramble on hands and feet then still do it. Plenty of people do it this way. Another tip is go to the top first before descending to the cache. You might be able to get to it from the level just before the top but it didn’t look like it when we headed that way.

Again, to the CO, thank you. You have done something amazing to the two of us that made it to the top but also to the third who is proud to have made it half way up and is looking to return again to conquer it at some stage in the near future.

PS. Have one of my favourites!

I have climbed The Pyramid more times than I can remember. In fact, last year I told my family that I won't be climbing it again - too old. Famous last words. Then I started geocaching and discovered that there is a cache up here. Enough said. Here I am - again.

Queensland border closures put an end to a Bromance extended hiking adventure in Oxley Rivers National Park in NSW. Still needing a break, a Bromance plus weekend trip to Stanthorpe with Seffnjarah, JeznDez, Swellerfungus and Lady Sim was organised

After a day in the car touring the area collecting rare and unloved caches, it was time to hike some Giraween Granite. This was our first target - though we took a scenic route to the top via the Junction and the Arch.

The climb is "bang for buck" - the view and sense of achievement is great for the effort to get to the top. Having struggled to get a photo of Balancing Rock without silly tourist in the shot, we wandered over this way to enjoy the view over the Castle and Mt Norman. Seffnjarah wandered down and made the find, then he and I bid farewell to JeznDez and headed over to look for the twin on the neighbouring Pyramid.

Thanks Rogainer.

After a long anticipated 4 day hike in NSW, that was originally planned for this week, had to be abandoned because of the border closures, Crookedpete, JezNDez and I rearranged the week to start with a hike along the Stretcher Track and end with an extended weekend hiking in Giraween.

Friday was mainly spent visiting a collection of unloved caches on the surrounds of Stanthorpe, with the actual hiking left for the weekend when Swellerfungus and LadySim could join us.

Our first stop today was a walk from the car park down to The Junction. Swellerfungus and LadySim had already visited First Pyramid on another occasion so they took a different route back to the carpark while Crookedpete, Dez and I headed off for a walk to the top. Dez initially had some concerns about making it all the way, with her new pair of boots giving her some grief, but she bravely battled on through the pain to make it to the top. It was a very busy place up here today, with quite a large number of hikers out enjoying the fantastic sunshine on a fine winter day. Avoiding the various crowds lounging in the sunshine, I made my way down to GZ and commenced the search, more on geosense rather than by GPS. Pleasingly it did not take too long for the cache to be found and the logbook signed. TFTC

We visited Girraween years ago (pre caching) and didn’t make it all the way to the top of the pyramid. Finally we came back and we made it all the way up and enjoyed the great views. Found the cache in good condition and added a new log book, then went to explore the nearby caves. Great spot, this one gets a favourite point. Tftc

My partner had a rdo so after a clean up around our property we had packed a lunch and set off for the day.
We looked at going to a cache at Sundown NP but it was unfortunately locked.
So we headed here instead.
We took a trusty material shopping bag with us as that's all I had to take for water and swaps with me.
Climbed the summit and explore the caves and mountain then searched for the cache. It took a long time to find it, however co-ords were spot on, we just seemed to walk around it.
I've dropped a pirate trackable here.
This cache needs an actual log book. Currently it's only a napkin.

Not a quick find - so many rock crevices to pick and GPS was out by ~10m but persistence paid off and the cache was finally in hand.
Cache could use a new log book - log currently consists of assorted pieces of paper, the back of shopping receipts and a table napkin. Alert from that all is good with the cache. TFTC

Wow, what an adventure! The track and stairs were easy enough but the climb up the granite sure was a work out. I spent quite some time scrambling amongst the caves in search of this cache (and just for fun) but eventually found my prize in an unexpected place. Love this national park, thank for bringing me here.

This was my third attempt. I was up early and made the pilgrimage to the rock. A million steps later I was doing the climb. I was a little nervous as I was on my own. I knew it was a reasonably safe climb, but doubt still creeps in. I was also worried about going over the side to the cache. I made it reasonably easily to the top and was rewarded with the views I remembered. Last time I was up the top was full of muggles and I wasn't game to go over to the cache. I went over the edge and carefully made my way down to the rocks and started to search. My GPS was crazy so I relied on geosense. I eventually made the find in probably the last place I was going to look. I signed the log, took nothing and jumped up to celebrate! My bald head connected with the overhang of granite and sat me back down. A quick check found blood and a headache. I realised It was mainly my pride that was hurt so i 'CAREFULLY' made my way down. Whew, no need for a chopper. Thanks Rogainer for another grand historical cache. I think it maybe its 15th birthday too!

I was camping th night in Girraween with Pprime, Fangsoki and Kab who had all found this cache previously But I was keen on making the climb.

Fangsoki volunteered to accompany me and we set off up the steps. I soon found out that my fitness has deteriorated lately.and, although it was late in the afternoon, the heat was stifling. We finished the climb of the steps and took a break and then started the climb of the pyramid itself but when I saw the row of white dots disappearing ahead of me my willpower gave out and I decided that today was not the day for me and that I will leave it there for another day when it is cooler, I am more prepared and have more time.

When Herbz sent an invite out for a weekend of camping and caching at Girraween NP, we were very keen to come along to catch up with some great friends and to explore another fantastic area Unfortunately, Mrs Just a Trifle received a call for some 'Grandma' help and found herself at very short notice in Perth, missing out on the fun of the weekend

It was certainly very cold overnight, but once everyone got started on the walking up the stairs and over the granite boulders, we soon warmed up There were some spectacular views to be had and Mr Just a Trifle had a terrific weekend

The cache was located easily enough and then it was on to the next one

Thank you Rogainer for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

A weekend getaway planned to come back to this wonderful place. My absolute favourite childhood bushwalking memories is of following my father up the white lines across the granite face to the balancing rock via the granite arch. I would have been under 10 years of age, and I recall it like it was yesterday with the fondest of memories. Some 21 years ago I came back here with LadySim at 28 weeks pregnant. Unfortunately she did not manage to make it up to the top, and turned had to turn back. This time we made it up together!

I woke up this morning noting a bit of an ache in my ankle, and thinking it was the ridiculously cold weather affecting my existing long term ankle injury and/or arthritis (which I have never experienced), thought it would disappear once it warmed up and the medium strength codeine took effect. Surprisingly as we headed into the walk it seemed to worsen. I started to lag a little behind the group, as the pain intensified. It was time for some heavier medication, and the big guns were brought out from LadySims first aid kit. Mmmmm morphine! This did the trick, along with a steady climb of stairs, and a granite face scramble was achievable. Noting at the top that scrambling to the cache from balancing rock was causing a shriek of pain in my ankle and calf, I determined that I was not continuing to 2nd pyramid, and decided I would head back down. I was joined by Goldielover and LadySim.
We watched the others leave, sat and enjoyed the views, enjoyed the echoes a valley like this can make, and chatted to a few other climbers. A wonderful way to spend a morning. All too soon it was time to head back down. The granite face was surprisingly doable with a dodgy ankle like mine, but the stairs proved my downfall. It appears that the problem is my heel, and going down stairs required a lot of 'heel force'. It was hell. By the time I reached the flat path out, I was in agony. It appears this was not arthritis or the cold, and that thinking back to a minor slip on the ladder in the night might have caused more damage than expected. I hobbled along for an eternity, only managing 50 to 100m before needing to rest from the pain.
To cut a long story short, I eventually made it out, thanks to my long suffering companions. After two days of rest it has come good again, and I now want to go back to enjoy out all again! Thanks for a cache at such a great place to visit. An easy FP from me.

Saturday. Mrs SP was down Girraween way. This day started out interestingly, with a small group of us meeting up at what informally became our meet up point at the Herbz very swish cabin where we were staying. Cups of coffee/tea were being made and then there was an almighty explosion when the jet boiler, boiling some water came horribly unstuck and the thing blew itself into oblivion. With the boiled water flailing onto the floor and me covering my ears, nearly everone else ducking for cover, it was Mr Herbz was cool as a cucumber and watched and then asked if we were alright. So, after all the excitement had died down and we discussed what we would do for the day, we all (Slow Puncture, Mr and Mrs Herbz, Swellerfungus and LadySim, Kay8nco, Mr JAT, Griffo, Stairman1 and Goldilover) then headed to Girraween, parked the geomobiles.

The morning was a wee bit chilly and we were checking out lots of places where Jack Frost had visited the night before. We were all rugged up, although I took my coat off after about 15 minutes as the walk UP was rather steep. Overall, all started off quite nicely with some flattish bits of rocks, some gorgeous bridges over the streams (which didn’t have much water in them) and I admired the striations in the rock formations which look like it’s experienced a bit of glacial action way back in its past. We then came across all the steps and walked up hundreds of them. Onward up the granite we went. Gosh the boulders are huge around this area! The bushland around here is lovely though but no birds were seen once we hit the bushy part. We started to make some up distance quite quickly and admired lots of bald granite rock faces around in the area which were cracking up and sliding away in some areas. It all felt very ancient. Some plants are managing to eke out an existence wherever the rock crevices provided a miniscule amount of protection for their roots to take hold.

The steep bit of granite, after all the steps, was very grippy and we had nice newish looking white lines every so often showing us the way to get to the top. There were only a couple of spots where I felt like it was a bit slippy and luckily, there are some rocks to hold onto when it gets very steep up near the top. I was amazed at the balancing rock which will no doubt topple off one day. Quite the enjoyable walk up to this cache and it was just a hop, skip and jump across from the top rock face to cache location. Good sized container here and was quickly located and log was signed by all who hadn’t claimed a smiley previously. The granite here is amazingly grippy and rough (quite different to other granite I’ve come across).

This was the 1st of 6 caches found on today's trip.

Thanks ***Rogainer***, for showing us this place. Smile

Stopped in at Girraween on the way back from the Mega. I was told this was a cache to do so after an early breakfast off we went. A great walk and the better half made it to the top of the stairs. Leaving the backpack with her off I went up. Kept looking at the black clouds and they stayed away. Made it to the top then across to look for the cache. After a brief search the log was signed. By the time I got back to the balancing rock the place was like Pitt St. A great area to explore and we will be back. A quick trip back down to the better half so she would stop worrying. TFTC.

Thanks for the cache Rogainer
This was a great walk and somewhat challenging for us. The views were spectacular and worth the effort. We left early and took lots of breaks as needed on the track up. We haven’t bush walked for quite a while so needed to take it easy. As we got past the crevice and the slope opened up one of the team opted to stay and do some bird watching. After checking out balancing rock and gathering info for the earth cache it was time to take in views of the National Park. It was such a clear day and no one else atop the pyramid. Simply magic. After soaking up the beauty it was time to look for the cache. This involved a bit more of a scrabble. Then it was made hard by looking in all the wrong spots. Finally the cache was spotted and our name happily entered. All is good with the cache. A fav point for such a superb location

This is one of several caches found with Dora the Explorer! on a road trip over the Australia Day long weekend.

After doing some long hikes and mountain climbing yesterday, I wanted to do this cache early in the morning with a fresh start. The pyramid looks massive from the rangers area but that was not going to daunt me.

Dora the Explorer! has found this cache previously but was quite happy to do the climb again. The walk was quite easy to start with but the elevation started to change and not before too long we were at the base of the rock slab.

We made the journey up the slab. I was quite comfortable with this because the way that granite weathers leaves plenty of grip to ensure secure footing. Some of the climbs on mountains made of rhyolite is scarier as it is smoother and does not provide as good a grip.

As we made it further up we were able to stop for a breather every 10 or 15m and in no time we were at the summit. We went straight to GZ and completed the formalities and headed back to the summit where we did some exploration and took some photos. After that we headed back down carefully.

We were back at the campsite in pretty good time.

All is good with this cache.

Have been wanting to visit these granite areas for a while now, but didn't know how good they were! Made the morning walk up here before the whining families dragging nan and 5 year olds found their way here Wink Took a little longer than it should have to found the cache. The spoiler isn't as accurate as it once was, but will still take you to the cache. TFTC!!!!

Staying in the area for a few days, camping and geocaching.

Today we headed into Girraween to climb the Pyramid. That was one tough climb. The first kilometre was easy but the scramble tested our fitness, but we got there in the end. The cache was found quickly after a bit more rock scrambling.
Thanks for the cache

Found together with VKO and geokids while having an awesome time in Giraween national park with my Czech-mates. We've been climbing Pyramid as the last thing from our list also as we did it many times before. Finding this container was a pleasant surprise.

We simply had a beautiful, bit windy day here, where VKO taught our kids how to safely climb with ropes on one of the rocks here and huge thanks to him for an all-day commitment to those.

Thank you Rogainer for another nice cache!

#1510 Greetings from England.
Today was our second and last day in Girraween and we decided to go for a longer walk to explore as much as possible. The olds came with us to Granite Arch and then as far as the killer stairs up to The Pyramid. Then they headed back and we continued. It took a lot of panting, rest stops and trying not to look down, before we finally reached the top but we were very impressed when we did - with the view, and with ourselves for getting there Big Grin Then it was just a matter of finding the cache. Mr. Maths and I ventured out while the kids started on their sandwiches. I got carried away with crawling into the caves between the boulders but Mr. Maths was luckier with his approach and soon found the cache. We picked up the trackable as we suspect this cache isn't visited very often even though it's a fabulous spot. TFTC Smile
PS. We counted the steps and got 510 Big Grin

What a view and what a fun walk! Sat up the top for morning tea then quickly located the cache. Camping and walking in the area for a 4 day weekend. Tftc!

Wow, what an amazing walk! For anyone who is interested, here are some stats from my walk (obviously everyone is different):
* total walk time of 1 hr 50 minutes (from carpark, to top of pyramid, finding cache, and back down, with a detour via the archway)
* approximately 50 minutes from the carpark to the top of the pyramid. Counted the stairs on the way back down (and should have written it down - cos now can't remember whether it was 505 or 605 stairs....) This involved plenty of stops on the steep granite section to regain breath.... following the white dots. Had some moments where I wasn't sure if I could make it up (more for concern about slipping), but thankfully the granite actually had quite good grip. As mentioned everywhere, I wouldn't want to be up here when it rains....

Made it to the top and looked at what the arrow said. Followed it directly over the edge, and found the cache. All in good condition. Decided that there was likely to be an easier way back up to the peak other than back the way I came down to the cache, and luckily there was.

Surprisingly, and thankfully, the trip back down the mountain was much better/easier than I had expected whilst on the way up. Passed several families with younger kids who managed to make it to the top - impressive!

FP for the location of the cache Rogainer Smile

Quick easy find. Much easier than "where eagles soar". Very enjoyable climb. More like this please.

It's been a while between walks / climbs for me and was quite confident I could get this one after assessing the difficulty in the national park's guidelines... Wink

With friends and Mrs Gunnie in tow, up we went, taking one stair at a time and watching weary muggles descend as we elevated. One friend down about half way up, three of us continued to the plateau, where I was on my own from that point. Surprised

I looked at the rock face and convinced myself I could scale direct to the top. That might have been doable 3-4 years ago, but a very unfit me was already sporting a racing heart beat and some heavy breathing, so I managed about a third of the way, then detoured via the dotted white line for the rest. Around the back, there was more up which I was not expecting, although the views from up here made the journey very much worth while. [^]

At the top, I yelled down to my now rested off siders, then commenced my descent, forgetting all about the cache. Err, YIKES... Red Face I grabbed the GPS, pulled up the cache, then back tracked to have a look around. I spotted the container on approach which was appreciated and after sortging the business end of things out, I took a slightly different exit, to make my way back down the hill.

A couple of days later, some sore calves remind me of the biggest cache hunting effort for some time, but one that I will remember for a long time.

A favourite from me for keeping an aged cache in the game, but very much for the location.

Cheers Rogainer.

While camping at Castle Rock Campsite in Girraween National Park this weekend, we took the walk (and climb) up the Pyramid. Only our friends' two kids made it up with us and enjoyed the view and walk. Went in search of the cache with another family who are just starting geocaching who were also on the top but couldn't find it. (we have found it two years ago). All they found was a pile of sticks.

Hope someone else can check to see if they got the GZ wrong or the cache is really missing.

Never tire of the view and balancing rock is still there....

Today was our big hiking day: we first visited the Pyramids in the morning, then headed to the Granite Arch and finally walked to the Junction, were we laid back on the rocks and had a good rest, before walking back to Castle Rock campground. The view from the top of the Pyramid was awesome. I really, really like the landscape of Girraween National Park. It took me a while to find the cache, though. First I stumbled over a pile of sticks, which I assumed must be the hiding place. But the space beneath the sticks was empty, so I thought the cache is gone. Fortunately I had another close look around and thus finally spotted the well hidden box. Thank you very much for placing a cache here! Especially a big ammobox like this is always appreciated! [^]

9/10/16, 8:45 am Find #443

NyssaFlutterby, Wombles&Co and I were in the area completing Captain Terror's Earthcache for Earthcache weekend, and of course this was a spot that we had to get to for that cache, so why on earth (pardon the pun) would we leave this unfound if we were already here? It was highly unlikely you would get Wombles&Co and I back up this to grab this smilie another time - once was definitely enough for us, although Nyssa seems to laugh in the face of these challenges. As previous people had mentioned, there was no log book (hope it didn't fall over the side with a previous finder!!), so we had intended on putting a placement in there, but on the day all we had available was a napkin. Oh well I'm sure a number of people can sign that before it needs to be replaced.

Thanks for the cache Rogainer, tho I can say I am glad I won't have to worry about another trip up here!

Nyssaflutterby, Minniemoo and I were camping nearby to complete the earth cache. We had an awesome weekend, climbing mountains, finding caches and enjoying the peace and quiet.
This one was our last climb for the weekend and we were kind of glad we left it till last!
Not something I'd do again that's for sure! The multi nearby might be getting hidden on my map I think!
Thanks for placing this cache.

I have wanted to find this cache for soooo long now. When I was very young I climbed this small hill with my dad. I remember from back then what an epic climb it had been and how scared I had felt but I had my dad always reassuring me that I could do it. It was the middle of winter and we nearly froze to death but I guess it is one of the crazy experiences that has made me love the great outdoors and a challenge even more. It would have been amazing to come back here again with Dad and find the cache together.

Today I was in the best of company, with two awesome superwomen, 1MinnieMoo and wombles and co Smile We were all on a crazy mission to complete the Girraween NP EC for international earthcache day. Yep! We don't do things small Razz

After a lovely stroll through the low lying scrub enjoying the flowers and flatness we came to the stairs. Then the stairs became the base of the UP! Let's do this Smile We all scrambled along the well marked white dot path. A few moments were taken to catch our breath. Then we were up the top.

For me it certainly didn't seem as daunting as what I remembered as a child. I was so happy to be standing on top of this mighty granite boulder again and let the heavens know with a good loud WOOHOO!!!! After my moment of celebration it was time to find the EC WP and then the cache.

I was happy to see that no one has had the strength yet to push over balancing rock Razz, then it was on to the hunt for the cache. After a bit of a squeeze through boulders the beasty was in hand. Doing the happy cacher dance!!! Unfortunately our well thought of replacement logbook had been misplaced Red Face so we had to make do with what I found in my bag. So for now the logbook is a serviette from Jetstar Surprised Sorry! Hopefully the next finder can add a proper logbook.

Without a doubt a FP from me! And thanks for the cache and memories Rogainer Big Grin

After walking only half way up years ago because geokids were too small, we all made it to the top this time - and on to GZ. That was fun and easier than it first looked.

Logbook is missing so could not sign.
