#601 After some pre planning, pantspeople and I decided to join forces and clear out some of this area that we both had barely touched. We snagged a good amount of finds for the day and I’m glad to say I’ve turned all these unfounds into a nice bunch of smileys. Thanks to all the COs for todays finds.

This was my third find for today and had us back on the ascent of the hill here. We spotted a very similar looking hiding spot on our way up and pondered for a second on whether it could have been a location for an archived cache (it was definitely far enough from other caches to be). After reaching the GZ we made quick work of the find, a nice regular sized find the day. Thanks Captain Peachfuzz for placing this one for our enjoyment

Fourth find of the day on a Saturday caching in and around Ginninderra, Nicholls and Giralang with DeadThief. This was the only regular we nabbed today, but it was a nice one. DeadThief and I spotted another location nearby that looked very similar and may have contained a different hide previously (I wonder...). Thanks for the hide Captain Peachfuzz Smile

In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Down to Canberra for a little visit and have some spare time today ... time to climb trees and mountains. Love an old cache, and even moreso if the old logbook is still there. Awesome spot, great view. Thankyou

Thanks Captain Peachfuzz for entertaining me at this location.

After finding Decoy at the bottom down near the dam I made my way to the top. Greeted a number of hikers at the trig station and moved on toward the GZ. Cache spotted quickly but unfortunately completely open in its hide. Contents were dry however containers corner is smashed. Logged and put container back, this time in one piece and headed on to the next. I should have checked out Cheeky Monkey on my way up so now time to backtrack. Cheers.

A roam around Percival Hill on a damp and cool with the GeoHound. This cache was a straightforward find at GZ. Although the base of the container is cracked, the log is still nice and dry. Thank you Captain Peachfuzz.

Walking with @trodectus and after doing a previous cache, as we were passing this one we decided to do as we were, doing a circuit back to the car. T had previously done this, so it was my turn. Approached GZ and quickly located cache. Log stamped and returned. TFTC

E E E E EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE [Found!] at 3:43pm! Big Grin

Caching day has commenced, on the attempt to smash a previous record of 18 caches in a day we got up bright and early to start! We got a lot of places today! So wake up at 7:00 and GO!

We were out. Introducing some muggle friends to geocaching, we all had a good time Smile

Nice cache right next to the path. Had to wait a bit until some muggles left. Nice big cache which is unfortunately falling apart. The logbook was signed and cache replaced. No spiders seen this time! TFTC Captain Peachfuzz!! Nice to find a old one!

Came down to Canberra for a handful of caches. I had a great day outdoors, working towards various statistic-based goals. Thank to all the Cache Owners for their contributions to the game.

A short uphill walk with some decent views. Cache was found in the obvious spot. TFTC

Was able to leave work early today, so picked up nibletricecakes so we could do an impromptu catch up and cache.

NRC had previously found this one, so whilst she was on the phone, I made an easy find and managed to knock another Jasmer cache off my list.

Lpud and I were out on the MTBs today, which is something we haven't done in a little while. Concentrating on the climb I rode straight up to shrub. Realised I wasn't at GZ but soon had the cache in hand. I was also happy to pick up a trackable here. Thanks Peachfuzz, great views

Countrykittykat and I tricked ourselves into a night hill hike again when we were blocked from getting the cache we had in mind. It was so cold at the top of the hill Countrykittykay lost feeling in her toes. A fantastic walk in the end, with a beautiful view at the top and a bonus trig!! Thanks for the cache.

With Mrs Perpetuallylost and daughter visiting the dinosaur park I thought I would try caching through this reserve as it had a good number of caches in it. I teamed up with TheDTeam who I met at the first cache of the animal series and we had a great morning caching and chatting.together. Loved the area, saw lots of kangaroos.
The youngsters beat us grownups to this one as well.
Thx captain Peachfuzz for your cache here.

I’m glad to have found this one with only 10 minutes to go before the end of the day (daily cache #269). The first cache I tried tonight I got chased away by dogs and then at the second one I spent too much time looking all around a tree and came up empty handed. So this was my third option and thankfully it was an easy find. No one about on the hill tonight. A nice view as always, even at night. TFTC

The Woofer has finally healed enough from her surgery to venture out on a short caching expedition, so we thought Percy Hill Nature Reserve/Blacksmith's Shop would be the perfect spot. Not too hilly, and some nice easy finds. We found 8 of 8 in under 2 hours, saw some roos, had some great views, and were home in time to put up our Christmas lights!

This cache must have been replaced since the last one (or was there all along) because the container was there, and in perfect condition. Left a few swaps, took nothing. TFTC! Smile

18-Nov-18
This geocacher reported that the cache might be missing.
There were some small pieces plastic that looked like the remains of a cache along with some small trinkets, all loose at the GZ co-ords.

18-Nov-18
I must have walked up the wrong way too, it was quite a steep walk.
I found a stump when I got there, but the only thing nearby was a piece of plastic that looked like the remains of the cache box.

Pretty sure I must have come at it from the wrong direction as it was a very steep climb but worth the effort for the great views. Had rained heavily the night before so Ginninderra creek looked great winding through the grass. Thanks

A nice walk with the family and dogs on this hill today. We see this area often when driving by and were keen to check ot out up close. Very nice spot good for a closeby walk.

This was a main target for the day, it fills another gap in my JASMER which I am trying to fill as best I can in the ACT before I go to the US for the APE mega. Dont want to waste time once there looking for months that can be found easily here.

I only read the clue as I approached 'the shrub' and realised I was actually standing right next to the hide... happy days.

Container is in excellent condition, I presume it has been updated at some point as it looks too new to be 14 years old!

Favourite from me.... just for filling a JASMER!
