Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Yes, it's been too long - I've bought a new container and sussed out a shlighly more secure site, but I'm overseas for a little while longer - it'll be fixed by mid-october. Thank you for your patience!
Don't feel so bad now, after reading the recent logs. We were in Canberra for the long weekend geocaching with an iphone and recent logs didn't show up on it, so we attempted cache, searching for a while dodging muggles we soon decided that we couldn't find it, seeing evidence where something was mounted we were not sure if it had been muggled. Thanks anyway hopefully it will be back up and running soon and we will attempt it again when in the area.
I had a bit of fun with this one tonight, just after dark I approached GZ and spotted the container quite quickly. After a bit of effort I got the lid off and oh no! there goes the log - it fell into a bit of a difficult hole. Just at that moment a dog walking muggle was not far away! .. I retreated and came back a little later to try and get the log, no luck, I had to pop in a replacement bit of paper to keep it happy. Thanks bubble & squeak for some chilly Canberra drama!
Make it so much easier to locate caches when it quiet, lucky for me I have seen these types before. TFTC
I was up in Canberra for work and having breakfast in Dickson. After breakfast I stopped on the way to work and found this cache. Found without any difficulty as I had a fair idea of what I was looking for. The log was extracted without difficulty. Thanks bubble and squeak.

Nice hide. You can see it from quite a distance but I'm not surprised that it is often overlooked.
This was a great cache that was visible from quite a distance, yet blends in very well with the surroundings. The longest part of the cache was in extracting the log from the container.
Thanks for the good hide bubble & squeak.

Got to GZ and did a bit of a wander around before I read the listing properly. Then the cache became clear as day despite me having looked directly at it a minute earlier. A little finnicky....(is that how you spell that?) to uncover due to a prolonged lack of tensile strength in the good hand...getting somewhat better after 2 months but obviously still has a fair way to go. Clipping it back was much easier.
Quick find, as I have seen a similar hide in Melbourne. Taking a break from the National Folk Festival on a quiet Easter Sunday. TFTC
I loved Sparkie! I approached it from the Northern side but had to detour around a raging torrent of water in the stormwater drain. Sparkie's log is suffering from all this rain we are having. I managed to sign and replaced it. TFTC #15
Got one on the 29th of Feb!! Nice hide, this is the sort of cache I enjoy, something a bit different. TFTC.
This is the third one of these I have seen. I love them, out in the open but well hidden. Exellent hide. Thank you bubble & sqeak
Was visiting Canberra and grabbed a few caches with wombatatcrows.
Wombat mentioned that he'd tried the previous incarnation of this cache without success, so a "two pairs of eyes" approach it was... Having seen similar hides, this wasn't quite as hard as expected, but a pleasant walk none the less, before needing to bid Wombat farewell.
TNLNSL, TFTC,
Cheers,
Murf.

With Murf & Mrs Murf (and little Murf to be soon) when found GZ. Sadly the last geocache for today as they have another appointment. Looking forward to next time we can do this. A very enjoyable day. #5 for the day.

No, it is still there @7pm, not sure if I was there just before or after dsblue55.
I found Sparkie, he is still in bad condition sure. Signed log and beefed him up as good as possible. I'd say it is back to be at least a bit of a challenge again but contend might still get wet and og is just lose paper.

A hot day out on foot today and this was the last before getting on the bus back to town.
At GZ.... we spotted something, and with a name like that, well it just had to be.... and it was!!
Thanks bubble & squeak, nice end to the days caching!

17th find for the trip and 7th for the day at 2.48am.
A very easy find. I think this cache will be a good one when the container is fixed.

I'll be back in Australia in a bit over 2 weeks - replacing Sparkie is at the top of the homecoming list!
We were really looking forward to doing this cache but it was a disappointment. No magnets, no screws, container is breaking, and it's a wonder it was still there as it's just sitting there. Thanks for the opportunity to get a smiley though. Wish we'd seen this cache in it's heyday.

Easy find but I think that is because it has been muggled. Needs no log and maintenance.
Quick grab before the security guard did his rounds.

#331 Funny how the obvious has a way of blending in! Neat hide idea, just needs a liitle fixing but still works well. TFTC!!
A nice idea for a cache - I've found similar ones before. This one, indeed, needs some fixing. It was just sitting on the ledge... TFTC, and hi from Melbourne!
Glorious sunny day for caching today...Ms Bushies2 spotted it straight away...we don't think it is in the actual hide spot but returned it as where we found it. Thanks bubble & squeak.
I'll get on to some refurbishment as soon as I return to Canberrs (in Oct). B&S.
Quick find though looks like it has been muggled. Log is there and some swappables are in there still
Quick find on the way past. Container & log are a bit worse for wear & need maintenance. TNLNSL TFTC
Easy find...it was quite out in the open and not well hidden. Not sure if that's where its meant to be? Also wasn't closed properly so had bugs inside, but we fixed it up a bit. Thanks!
found it but has been badly muggled tidied up but everything is water logged and damaged

#1576 Found on our Canberra caching weekend. Had an unintentional tour of Canberra University trying to access this cache. Perhaps if we had taken notice of parking co-ords...... Nevertheless we arrived near GZ and Dad went out and found the nicely concealed cache. Top effort on this one bubble & squeak [^]
We had fun finding the cache with beautiful weather! The tool is still there so that there was no difficulty for us to open it.
Thank you!
Thank you!
The tool gnome is up to his old tricks.
The tool is gone, then it's back, then it's gone again ... blighter!
Well a new tool is there now, gnome, so leave it, OK?

A nice obvious cache, but not so obvious how to get in when there's no cache opening tool nearby. It seems a few frustrated cachers before us had tried to get in via the bruteforce method, and as that doesn't work and we didn't have an opening tool we couldn't sign the real log, but we did sign some paper and insert it into the cache
Could certainly do with a new opening tool at this cache.

Found it but frustratingly couldn't open it with the tool missing. We decided on a course of action, submitting a piece of paper through the gap! TFTC.
Sneaky sneaky sneaky!!!
So, i had to pop by UC for something today, and i was early (for once?), so what do i do? iPhone, ...ooh! There's a cache like 250m away!
Oooh it's that cache i've been wanting to do for ages! (and i'm now kicking myself, because i left my gps at home, so i couldnt do the other UC one!)
I'm thankful it was...exam time? Bludge time? Holidays? (I dont know!), so there was no muggles about (which feels weird...), so i didnt feel too suss walking around in circles for a little while (Ok, i'm sure i could of just passed off as a confused first year student or something, if questioned. but it's nice to know i wouldnt of had to)

We have had this one in the GPS almost since we started our caching adventure, so being a milestone day for us we thought we should grab it. We all spotted it from a distance, but a lecture had just finished right there, so we were a bit dubious if we could get it. But no students were interested in us, so we were able to get it unwatched. We really loved the container. TNLNSL, it was all in good condition TFTC
=) muggles galore. spotted this one from easily 20m away, frozen coke in hand. soon coke was between my knees while i signed the log. TFTC =)
Found sparkie, but tool slid back into the box. I'll return in the next 48 hours with a tool and fix the cache.
Another late night find for the Stormcatchers, this was a quick find as we are getting quite use to spotting the suspicious out of place objects. Still very clever cache and Camo. TFTC
This one seemed to be a bit our with GZ, but I had a helping hand to direct me to the correct vicinity and it was pretty obvious once there!

Found this after GPS was out by about 4 mtrs...
Great Camo....
For one moment i thought we were busted by Muggles, but turned out to be other GeoCachers

Another very clever and well constructed cache. We did have a little help as we arrived at GZ just as another geo-family was putting the cache back together...pen was giving the cache away (and it didn't work). Returned later with a pencil to fit the cache, TFTC.
Well, yes.
Sparky has been about for going on 7 years and is beginning to show its age.
Be gentle.
Still quite useable, although the magnets have been prised off so it isn't sitting right.
The tool is in its place & works. The log is dry.
I'll replace the shell in the next little while & might find a more suitable site nearby...

Couldn't sign the logbook as we couldn't find a proper way to use the tool and didn't want to destroy the container. Looks like some important bits might be broken off. Clever hide though.
Thank you for this clever cache. The log was a little damp, but usable. TNLN Domsky
A nice simple find that seems way more common these days, still a good one. SL TNLN TFTC
Spent a fair bit of time here because I was expecting a tricky hide - so was searching in every unusual place. When I'd exhausted all those possibilities, I widened the search away from where the GPS indicated, and found it fairly easily!
I suppose it pays to do a basic visual search first.

Find # 1801 @ 15:27 & 22nd for the day
The GPSr had me looking elsewhere with no success so I peeked at the clue. Hmmm, couldn't make any sense out of it so I widened the search and I spotted the hide almost immediately. Nice work. My thanks to bubble & squeak. TNLNSL

LOVE the hiding spot and cache. A nice easy find while caching in the area. TFTC!
School's out, so undisturbed which carrying out a brief search for this clever cache. TNLN and TFTC
Nice easy find for the morning.. However I did look at it three times before realizing... TFTC TNLN
Found this one with my girlfriend and her friend, i think we may have another cacher now tftf
There were a couple of muggles nearby and at first i thought I would need to seek another cache. As luck would have it right at that moment i got a real phone call from work and was able to talk and locate the cache at the same time without looking so obvious. First time i have actually been working while locating and signing a cache
This one had me walking round in circles. I put my GPS down to rest, which happened to be right on the money. However it took me a while to relise this. GZ jumps around all over the shop given the concrete jungle.
