How come this one is coming up with all these DNF's and no one is doing a check on this one. We'd driven to this location after doing the 4km Twin Falls Circuit walk. We didn't have a paper for this cache and couldn't bring up the previous logs. So hopelessly we kept looking, and looking, and looking, only to find when we'd given up and left and saw the previous logs that even cachers who've found it before couldn't find it. This one needs to be checked please.
What a beautiful part of the forest and an especilly stunning old tree. Shame there was no cache for the Milestone Mayhem hunters to find. This spot would certainly warrant a return trip when the cache is replaced. svn07
It certainly is a picnic paradise but no cache to be found. One of us had previously found it and after a very thorough search, we've decided that it has gone. Mr L&L and I will be back here again. Such a beautiful area.
When 16 searchers can't find a cache and 2 of 'em have found it before, you have to think it's gone.
With Milestone Mayhem Mob - We all looked around for quite a while and after much consideration by the experienced and professional cachers present we decided the cache has been muggled.
We had low GPS reception today with the clouds as well as the trees, but after some slow walking and hunting we were able to find the sizeable cache. Thanks for bringing us to this wonderful location. TNLN, TFTC
Lovely place for a picnic. We had lunch and headed off for the cache. Geoson found this one again. He had a great day. Thanks for showing me this place THE FOUR BEARS it was lovely. TFTC
This one had us puzzled for a while. GPSr got confused by the trees and we ended up back at the carpark to start again. The Lookout was a good spot to get direction with GPSr from. Great hide. TNLN TFTC
Tree cover made it very difficult to narrow down, didn't have time to search everywhere so after poking various places with a stick, gave up. 0 from 2 up on top of Springbrook. Shame because we wanted to leave TBs here. Given the disruption to GPS here maybe a hint would be useful - wonder how many other people just haven't logged DNFs.
Beautiful place for a picnic. Will come again for a family e friends picnic. Awesome views!
Found it by geopartner.
Thanks for bring us here.
Cheers

Couldn't help myself, just had to go and find a cache instead of looking at the waterfall and making dinner (good spot to take the gas stove and some steaks)

Found this cache for my sister Carolyn in California. Put in a geocache coin sent from USA with code: 'COOFMY' It says "the two seasons of december" for northern and southern hemisphere. Hopefully somebody will take it somewhere new! Took nothing out.
Magnificant day at one of the most beautiful places on the Gold Coast.

This one is so close to my friend's house! I was going to say, I can't believe the cache was there the whole time (ie. so close, yet so far) but as the last time I stayed at her place was pre-2007, the cache hadn't been placed yet
TFTC it was nice to be back in Springbrook

Cold wet day today. Had lunch in the shelter and introduced a bushwalker to geocaching. Took him out to find this cache. Easy find. Left fridge magnet and took lizard. Tftc
Easy find at 1310 by geowife.
Lovely spot for a picnic.
Shared the wood fired bbq with a group of muggles, and had lunch at this location.

The tree cover made the GPSr spinning around. Mrs. Urban Hunter found it never the less. This is a nice area that surely warrants a next visit for a BBQ.

Found with Max and Bev on a day visit to Springbrook. Being Good Friday, there were lots of muggles around but we covered well by Max pretending to be a ranger and Bev and I asking questions! Left a puzzle. Thanks.
Found by Benchdog and new crew , second for the day.

This one was the best. Not only did we get a cache but before we got the cache we had a nice lunch at the englidh teahouse garden not far from the cache. After our delicious lunch we headed for the cache. After a quick look at the waterfall we were hunting for the cache, soon after I had found the cache.

Found without too much difficulty. A beautiful spot alright.Plenty of muggles about today which slowed us down. TNLN Thanks for a good cache.
Found it with Team Fixitwell. The kids started to get the hang of geocaching in the end, thanks to the beautiful surroundings. Nothing in, nothing out. Thanks.
It was a bit off from GZ
But we found it anyway.

aaaargh!,great spot for some booty, easy find, check out that tree 15m away, awesome!,thankin' ye' bears
While I live on the Sunshine Coast, I visit the Gold Coast every Saturday and regularly travel up the ranges to the hinterland. It's such an amazing place. Even though there hasn't been much rain lately, it's still buzzing with life.
Thanks for the find, the tree cover gave me a headache and there were lots of muggles coming and going. But found it in the end.
Took nothing, but left the Travel Bug.
cheers,

We made a day of it and drove up to the park to see if we could locate it. It was the first time I had searched without an experienced geocacher. As there was not a good signal we had to triangulate from where we could get good signals. I did introduce my father-in-law to geocaching and he enjoyed it. He says it was a tricky spot. It was a good day to view the falls and the panorama.
Found at about 3pm - What a fantastic picnic area. This place really does have everything and we are very pleased to have had the opportunity to take a look around and explore. The views over the falls and out to the Gold Coast are just superb as would the fire place be on a closed in day.
Thanks to the Four Bears for showing us this magical spot.

Great spot, and a very clever hide. You're right about this being a nice place for a picnic!

Found this cache at 1312 after searching around for a while. Even my Garmin GPSMAP60Cx was having trouble getting an accurate fix.
I'd estimate that the cache is actually located about 10 meters South from the provided co-ordinates - not that bad considering the tree cover though.
Took: Lizard
Left: Cows Head and Mutant Oompa-Loompa TB.
After replacing the cache, we continued down the path to the lookout. Whilst at this lookout, I proposed to my girlfriend!

Have been in the area many times but don't recall ever visiting this particular spot before, even though i've been to this carpark and turned back.
Nice area with awesome views from some points and nice trails.
Cache took a few minutes to find due to poor GPS coverage but we were only about 2m away, nice hide... easy to pick if you're looking for it, but if you weren't you probably wouldn't notice it.

What do you do with a 2yo in Surfers Paradise when it is teaming down with rain ? - well if we have to get wet lets go for a drive. It was a pitty this looks to be such a pristine spot pitty we could not see much of it in the fog and pouring rain (we hoped to get above it). Still we enjoyed the drive. Thanks for bringing us here. Tooks us a little while to locate but then there it was - bigger than I expected. In: TB Australian Geocoin 2006, Lizard with a wickard tounge and (from Squire Josh) Eeoyore Out: Thomas Pencils and window markers.
i went ot this one with the warner family, cruzin cachers, darklord anu, and my mom. really fun all day caching trip.tfth
A very enjoyable look around this area. So beautiful. Took us a while to while the cache but read previous logs and then noticed something that looked a bit out of place. Left survival supplies and took waterproof ph bag. Thanks guys.
Almost left without finding cache but had one more go & found it. GPS showed was 17 metres distance but pretty well standing on it. Best hiding place so far in my short career. Well done.
Found after quite a hunt as GPS was not too much use to us.
What a magic little spot, will be up here soon for a breakfast, enjoyed ourselves on this one.
Thanks Four Bears for another great hunt.Took stamp fun, left waterproof mobile phone cover. SL

[Found it after quite a hunt, the GPS was all over the place at the start, we ended up about 500mtrs off course in the bush. There are some great places to hide a cache nearby, see if you can find the huge hollow tree nearby] it is about twenty five mtrs east of the cache.[this cache was a great find, kids loved the contents, and wanted everything, but we ended up taking 2 koalas and leaving a whiteboard marker and a Aus phone adapter.
Found 1340hrs. Great picnic spot but it was raining at the time we were there. In and out quickly.
Lovely spot! Had to approach the cache a couple of times before I found it. It was hard to get an accurate reading in such dense forest. But all in all an easy find. Spent the rest of the day exploring the area. Took a Monkey tube and THE PINK PARATROOPER TB.
well upon first arrival my GPS wanted me to walk off the cliff about 5m so that made me think that there may be another park at the bottom of the cliff. I then returned to the car to re-read the cache sheet and confirmed i was in the right place. i then rebooted my gps and returned to hunt. my gps then lead me to a different location which was obtainable but still no cache. as a last resort I thought bugger it...... where would I hide a cache around here!! then alas... I found the cache.
Took Monkey tube (monkey Number 6),
left Pink Paratrooper TB

great hiding spot!! was just about to give up when i spotted it out of the corner of my eye! GPS here was pretty much useless.. got a rough bearing out in the open then got stuck into searching the oldfashioned way!! simply way too many trees for an average GPSr to get a decent fix.

A great little site and a fantastic view, although it was closing in when we were there. Struggled to get a signal which made the hunting diffucult, but found in the end. Great hiding place.

What's up with the gps reception in this area? Even in the clearings, I couldn't get a steady signal. With no gps reception and no hint on where to look, we gave up and moved on. At least it was a nice spot to spend some time searching.
We looked almost everywhere today except where the cache was. The satellites were not very friendly today either so that doesn't help.
Great little spot.
Thanks,

No luck for the Tarquins here. Looked for about 30 mins with the GPS not giving a lot of assistance. Will try again another time.
Score, another FTF for Llourd.
It was so great to see water in the places where water should be! Over the past 6 months we have seen so many would-be waterfalls and creekbeds, this little jaunt was terrific!
