Second visit to this one and still nothing cache is gone lookin at the high tide marks
Can this cache be archived please this was my second visit to this one and still nothing the high tide mark indicates that the cache has most likely been washed out to sea there is a note on it for the owner to fix
Had a good look around and then looked at the previous logs and it seems like this one could be missing, another case if the Tumby bay muggler?
This one had the better of me. I put my body parts into places I didn't want to, in case it collapsed. We searched for a while until muggles turned up so we moved on. TBs & geowife enjoyed the view from here.

This is hometown for me so I took the kids down to find a cache and kill a few minutes. Ive been here before so knew where to look but this time I couldnt find it.
Ive walked past here many times but this time I stopped to look. I had a hint from a previous finder so knew roughly where to look and what to look for. Quite hard to get.
Took a bit of hunting to find, I found it with the kids while driving around looking for some fishing spots. TFTC.
What a magnificent view from here! Geokids took koala and character, left crazy child and ape. Tftc
Found on the "I'm not Diving with the Great White Sharks trip". A great day weather wise and caching wise. It's not Hervy Bay is it?
Thanks to Sandboarder and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Found this one a year or more ago but obviously forgot to log it! Visited again today. Still enjoyed the view from the top!
The dogs enjoyed the wall from the caravan park- cache container it's in good repair, but contents are wet. Tftc. No fish out here today!
There was time this morning for just the one cache in Tumby and after morning tea at the bakery cafe in the main street we drove around here.
I had the lookout area to myself and on a lovely morning scrambled over the rocks to this nice hide.
Top spot for a cache. I like them like this.

Lovely spot in the late afternoon sun. Alas the cache is a bit damp and could do with some care. Cheers Gav [11677]
An easy find, but sadly everything inside is wet (and almost wringable). Time for some TLC. No swaps - SL. Thanks to Sandboarder for the cache.
Log still a bit damp, managed to write with a pencil. Watched a seal playing nearby for a while. Great! TFTC
Couldn't write in log book, saturated, as I nearly was because there was a very high tide! dventurous. TFTC. TNLN
Didn't take long to locate. Then had to use a stick and H12's fingers to extract it.

In threatening rain we headed off to gz and followed the GPSr to where it said we should be searching. It took a little bit of time to locate this one. Once found the co-ords seemed to be off a little. After getting back to the car and reading the last logs we saw that it was replaced recently, perhaps those co-ords are little off. There was water in the container as well
Thanks sandboarder for the cache

this one took a lot of finding. it seems thatit had been washed along a bit by the tide.
I put it back to what the GPS was saying as GZ and put more rocks ontop.
may need to be moved inland a bit it seems as though the bank as eroaded and fallen in place

A bit hard on the knees, and quite some reach but got it in the end. Thanks for the cache
Great view up here and after a careful search of the waterline, cache soon in hand.
Cache getting wet and soggy and have resealed container tightly but suspect it
still may leak when attacked by mother nature.
Signed away, TNLN, TFTC!

Don't forget the camera .. there's a vertiginous lookout tower you can use to get that panoramic shot of Tumby.
The log book is a bit wet but cache is otherwise ok.

On holiday from Vic visiting friends for the New Year.
Found with our 17 man (and women and children) makeshift caching team. Took longer than you would think with so many GeoSearchers but we got there in the end, and without being seen. Thanks Sandboarder

A lovely day today as I made my way north. As per previous finders the cache was pretty easy to find - almost too easy.
Found the container, but it really isn't hidden all that well. Still, it's lasted this long, so that's always a good thing.
I climbed the tower for a few pics before walking to the next cache.
Thanks Sandboarder.

Actually found 2 cache containers at this site. Have placed the small unwaterproof box in a 1.5 litre sistema container and put back with a new log book also as the other is now papermache. Removed the unused square container. Great spot to sit and read a book.
container was small with nothing in it and had water all through it.. this was the cache where the coordinates took me
Very frustrating, this was the third attempt. It’s beaten me!
I’ve left a reasonable amount of skin around the area and probably some bad karma after I got all hissy when I fell over in a very undignified heap

Hervey was well hidden. He was not giving up with out a fight. There was blood on my knuckles when the deed was done. Beaut location with views that go forever.
Found it using geocach navigator on my mobile phone.

Cache back in place - a beautiful location - Bruce had to get on his belly to spot the cache. Thanks Sandboarder
Had a good look for this the other day. Placer's dad also had a look. Gone. Seems to have washed out in very high tides this autumn. Due to some interest in this as a local nemesis cach i will replace it (school holidays start today)
I ll go and have a look for this as its only a few hundred yards from home. Placer is no longer caching. Last time i looked it was still there, but is certainly a well hidden cache. Above high tide mark but can be covered by sea weed.
NOT Found @1:29:15 PM (Cachemate time)

Too many rocks, not enough daylight left to go scrambling over the rocks without a torch. So it's a DNF for us today. Quite a speccy sunset tonight though.
We looked in all the cracks, under all the rocks, moved a ton of seaweed and some forty rocks but we had no luck. Spent the longest time on this one, only because the kids were enjoying collecting periwinkles. Might come back to have another go at this yet.
finds = 0
DNF = 1
Injuries = 53 (including minor cuts and scratches and
2 bruised knees)

Yes Yes about time that I found cache at 10.30am. It was lovely weather and enjoyed myself. No swap. Thank you for organising the cache and hunt.
this is starting to frustrate me as this was our second attempt at this one, must say that the last time was real quick as it started to rain. no problems with the elements this time though just more bad luck. no find
This was one of the most challenging caches to find once we had located the general spot. Well Done.
Found at 1200 after approaching from wrong side of channel initially, didn't read notes properly! Only took us about 10 minutes of checking in crevices to come up with it. However cache needs maintenace - we emptied water out of it, contents and log damp. We had a bonus of sighting a playful dolphin in the channel.

Pt Lincoln Trip 4th week of Oct
43 of 83 finds with 7 DNFs
Thought this might be a difficult find but came up a winner in a short time.
Liked the lookout.

Great spot. Great view. Lot's of neat little hiding spots. None of the ones we looked in however contained the cache. Taking the hint with us may have reduced the number of spots we looked and increased our chances of finding it. Next time! Thanks for the hunt
TFTC This one didn't take that long to find first rock and we had it. Had to be carful people arriving in boats.

Had a lot of fun caching in this area and couldn't stop, so just had to grab this one. Nobody around so it was an easy find. Left a pink chook rubber and took a sealion. Thanks for the fun.
Our last one for the day, it was always going to be interesting, as my GPS was 200metres different to Bubbles8. As it turns out, they were spot on, and I was out in the water somewhere! But I came up trumps on this one. Good to see that it has dried out since the last visitors were here.

Unfortunately found this one a bit wet - dried as much as possible but still damp - maybe the next person can stop here for lunch or something and dry it out completely - TFTC
Indeed this is well hidden... we scratched around for a long while but were not lucky. Thanks anyway.
Pleased to see this was found after a couple of DNF's. While the owner has not been actively caching recently, he still keeps an eye on the cache and i check it every month or so . It is hard to spot, but reading the logs carefully may help.
Was in the area and decided to do a couple of the tumby caches. This one was well hidden
This cache was our first stop for the day...it was high tide and we had to keep jumping out of the way of the waves crashing on the rocks!! Suthies #3 took a bit hit from a wave and got soaked from the waist We had trouble getting a definate lock on this one. After searching unsuccesfully for a while and getting quite wet, a family of muggles arrived and we had to abandon our search for a another day!!!!
We will return!
We will return!
This was the second cache this weekend we couldn't find.
We will be back

I like the tower, seems a favourite for the gulls too.
I must have been standing on the right angle as I saw it quickly even though we were concentrating our search a few metres away. TFTH

Took nieces Michelle 11, and Samantha, 6 on a brief geocaching expedition. This was the third they found. Got very close with the GPS and had no trouble spotting the cache. Unfortunately, the inside had got quite wet since my last visit and a number of key rings were badly rusted. Took these out and replaced them with some more water resistant trinkets. Signed log Misam, but they are not registered Geocachers so will leave this note to avoid confusion.
We surprised ourselves when we found this so quickly. Bit of a fluke really.
Lovely spot.

[found this cache on a beautiful mild winter afternoon. Sat and watched the sea for a while. Easy to find - wasn't completely covered with seaweed. Made a good swap.]
Found this a surprisingly easy find considering its rating. Mind you arriving at hidg tide reduced the location options and some luck was also involved I think! Took a wheeled toy and left a bottle opener keyring & a holen medallion. Cheers.
G'day just found your cache today, great hide as it is my first geocache day out, every thing is well(referring to cache). thanks sandboarder. FUERX
