Having fairly recently solved and found the others in this series, I had some time today to look for this final one. Hubby joined me on a nice walk in an area that Ive been to before. A quick find at gz where I was delighted to find the original container and logbook which I signed and replaced as found. Its all in great condition. Concerning this IQ series, I had ignored it for some time, not feeling confident in my ability to solve the various puzzles but I did manage to. So for those like me, they werent too bad and it was a fun series, so a fp. Tftc Rogainer and for Beardman75 for keeping it going.
I started this series with IQ3 in May 2021. It has taken me over 3 years to find the other caches and finally finish. Ive had this final for a while but I was never in the right place or had the time to do the walk. With a free day today I made this one of my target caches. I headed up the steep hill and approaching GZ I knew exactly where to look. I retrieved the cache and then sat for a while looking through the log book, awesome to see its still the original. This is such a great series and a great piece of caching history. Very happy to have finally finished, definitely worthy of a FP.Thanks for keeping this one and the series going Beardman75Find #6130

With only a couple of days left of the holidays, I took off for the afternoon keen to get a few caches, one particular one that I wanted - this cache - being in this area of bush.
Last time I came here I opted to park in a different location - by the Billiau Road Fire Track - and dealt with its relentless up. Today I opted for a different approach, and parked over near the quarry to begin a much more sensible and enjoyable hike.
Having grabbed the rest of the series, this one was definitely my main goal out here today, and I wouldn’t have minded if it was the only one I happened to get. The hike was good, and the weather surprisingly warm for a winter’s day. Arriving at GZ my coords initially showed me the other side of the track but I soon saw where I should be looking, dashed over and quickly spied what I was after. Good to see this one in nice condition.
Thanks for the cache Manta, Rogainer and Beardman75.

It appears I found my first IQ puzzle back in 2015… I remember quite vividly sitting in Toohey Forest beavering away…
I took quite the break from caching and found the remaining three between late 2021 and early 2022…
Turns out I was supposed to be far more diligent in my note taking… thankfully good friends took pity on me (happens quite a bit) and I was supplied the required info to get here today (apologies to the CO)
Well that’s just cruel… I’ve been here before… in 2020…. I would have stumbled right past the cache… cruel…
I parked at the appropriate spot, noting Renaldo was missing the necessary accessory to fit in… according to the App I was here less than 20m to gain just 72m in elevation!! It felt like more…
I replaced the snap lock bag and left some silica because I know how helpful the CO finds that…
Thanks Beardman75 for maintaining this series for our enjoyment…

Well this series had taken some time and not helped by not being local plus with a DNF on one earlier in the series some time ago it did put us back as it took awhile to return to sign with a bit of help. So with some working out we can now log. Off we went on a familiar hill and has we got close a likely spot was spied and the nice sized cache was found. We completed the signing duties and re hid. A nice walk and outing. TFTC.
I had been wanting to complete this IQ series for some time, given its age of being in Queensland's 500 oldest geocaches. I had slowly been working through the IQ visits:
• [GCHWY3: IQ 1 - Knowledge is Power](https://coord.info/GCHWY3), attempted 10/07/2022 (but DNF);
• [GCJ0B5: IQ2 - Watch this Space](https://coord.info/GCJ0B5), visited 12/06/2021;
• [GCJ8QK: IQ 3 - Spellbound](https://coord.info/GCJ8QK), visited 25/06/2022; and
• [GCM84E: IQ4 - Gridlock](https://coord.info/GCM84E), visited 12/06/2021.
I had wanted to find IQ1 earlier today, but alas despite a thorough search, the cache alluded me. From reading this geocache's logs, I knew that it would be in the area that we would be hiking today, so I decided to reach out to a former finder to assist with the rotor information from IQ1, which allowed me to obtain this geocache's final coordinates from Certitude.
This morning, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I planned to take baby Warren on a walk up to Mount Cotton. We took the direct main route up to the summit, and then proceeded to take a loop around the area via the *What Goes Up Must Come Down* (WGUMCD) series. To replenish our energy, we then detoured past Capalaba for a lunch, before proceeding home.
In the late afternoon, it was an errand at Clontarf that allowed me to drive north and visit a few more of the *Witch's Hat* series.
We set out on this walk departing from the trailhead at 09:20 hr, and we walked a total distance of 6.9 km across an elevation of 232 m, with a moving time of 1:40 hr. Despite that, we ended up getting back to our cars just after 12:00 hr, as per my [Strava record](https://www.strava.com/activities/7443275065). A few nice-looking mountain biking trails that I'd love to come back to. It must have been a long walk for baby Warren as she took a short nap during the last kilometre.
This had been one of my targets and main reasons for visiting this area today. As we began to search, it was [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) who made the reasonably quick find in a usual hiding spot for a cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Manta for the cache placement, and Rogainer and Beardman75 for its ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 12/2004 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 500 oldest yet active geocaches.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Today was a practice walk for my son. Who has a 18km walk to do in May. He needs a little bit exercise for his challenge. It work out to be 5km walk over 3 hours. Of course half that time was find caches. Few took little bit longer than they should.
This trip we found 6, the breakdown was 4 traditional, mystery and a letterbox. Lots of fun and pain was found.

Started om the IQ series earlier this year slowly making my way.
The puzzles are much easier now compared to when hidden.
With all stages completed I could not find my notes from one stage.
Started planning to go back to that location when I suddenly found my notes.
The final walk today, enjoyed reading the old original log book, noted that the current CO has a special connection here too
Thank you for hiding this geocache Manta, Rogainer and Beardman75 for keeping it going.

I have been working on these IQ puzzles over time, and after finishing a couple yesterday, I had all of the required information to work out IQ5.
I have been targeting this general area over the last few days, collecting oldies, so it was back today to pick up the final.
Cache was quickly found once at gz. Log signed, all is well with the cache.
Thanks Manta and Beardman75 for keeping this great series together.

Only one cache on the list today. I had started this series about five or six years ago, but other priorities took over and I didn't finish it. Recently, I finally finished all the preceding caches and had final coords for this one. Today, Richmond Lad accompanied me to GZ. There, the cache was located and the log signed. I did enjoy this series. TFTC
Thanks for the cache and series and thanks to Beardman75 for keeping it alive. Container and log in good condition. I started this series four years ago and enjoyed the journey to the final.
Series completed with AJsCache.

Catching up on some logging today, so a bit of a generic log, I'm afraid.
hatzofff decided I needed to get out. Been chasing the IQs for a long time.
Log signed and cache replaced as found on May 29 2021. TFTC, Beardman75.

Finally found this allusive cache. It has taken such a long time to collect all WPs then finally solve the problem. The group of us was Patrol14, Hatsoff, RoddyC, Grannysmith1947, Snickersallen and me. TFTC
After gathering all the clues, Muggle65 and l finally sat down and worked out the final. I must have written a number down wrong as we were about 18m off but common sense prevailed and the box was found. Yay!. Thank you Beardman for taking care of this old treasure ??
TFTC smile 9172 out and about with miss millie geo dog and a lovely day we had great cache ,out with friends after a Event need this cache for my next loop
Thank you, Manta (Maintenance by Rogainer), for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

On completion of the nearby CITO and after gathering the required info two weeks ago on IQ4, we made the steep climb dodging all the mountain bike riders along the way. Was slow going due to several of us with knee injuries but we battled on as we always do, no pain, no gain.
A nice quick find was made once we arrived at GZ where cache and logbook are still in great condition. Thanks to all the CO's who have kept this cache alive over the years.

We had a few target caches today after the CITO. After a comfort stop it was off to a familiar area but an area I needed to revisit.
The discussion was where to park so off we headed. On arrival it was surprising to see so many cars parked at the entrance. Mountain bikes were every where. To our surprise the area has been converted to suit MBs. Our tracks had not been changed and were just as steep as i remember from my last trip.
This one was in our to solve pile for a long time but once it was solved it was off to find the cache. Great hide.

After attending the CITO event at Wellington Point, I joined a group of geofriends who were wanting to find a few targeted caches in this area.
I started this series of caches on 3/09/2019 with IQ3 which was a very interesting puzzle indeed. Had to go home to work out final coords for that one (my little note book just not big enough).
Next was IQ2 on 9/09/2019 where I had to resort to a PAF as info in cache illegible to progress to final.
Next was IQ1 on 22/12/2019 and another bit of research to get finals. Enjoying to locations for each of these cache.
Next was IQ4 on 30/11/2020 which I had to wait until it was replaced before I could work on it as well. I was stumped in how to solve this one until a previous finder helped me see the way to getting to the final.
Now to work out IQ5. I had researched ways to solve this puzzle but nothing worked. Technology has moved on but this puzzle needed old and redundant software. I asked the current CO re a solver for this one and he said he will look into it. Another month later, I mentioned to hubby my dilemma and he managed to find his old computer still running Windows 7 and powered it up. Found the website needed and after a few tweeks, I loaded the info into the machine and out came numbers!!!! WOOHOO!! So excited!!!
Now to today. When my friends mentioned that they were going to find IQ5 and wondered if I wanted to come, my jaw dropped to the ground and I couldn't get to the car quick enough.
All the up and down of the trail was worth it to finally find this cache. HAPPY DANCE!! Cache is still in good condition and was great to see the original logbook still going strong.
Thanks to the CO's for maintaining and keeping this series alive. Well worth the year and a half in finally completing the series.
A fav point from me.

After our third visit to the Bay Area chasing this final & I found the GZ. Not saying I may have miscalculated as an 18m deficiency was kindly overlooked by after she found the cache. I know right she found it without exact co-ords! Glad I’m the support crew .Thanks Beardman75 for maintaining this one
With the unclicking of the ammo can, the saga of this cache finally came to an end. Sometime last year I decided I would like this one to be my #5000 but it didn’t work out.
Over many years, I gradually accumulated finds on the lead up caches, sometimes needing more than one trip. With all the info to hand, I then managed to destroy my phone and only then realised I had not backed up the data...
So rather than go and beg for the answers from someone, I did the whole bunch again. Yes, that’s right: in accordance with the original CO’s concept, not only did I visit each IQ WP and final, I did all of them TWICE.
Then I reached the roadblock of the checker: as has been well documented by others, no matter which browser, format or platform I tried, I couldn’t get the necessary one to work. At that point, I decided a JetSki was justified but I didn’t get around to it, perhaps fortunately because a certain proximity issue may have led me astray...
Anyway, today I was enjoying my walk around here so much that I went straight past the GZ and didn’t realise for quite a while.
Fortunately, I was inevitably going to come past again and this time I made no mistake, though the previous finder did an excellent job of rehiding it.
What a pleasure to sit in the peaceful surrounds and read through the many pages of finds over a long period.
Terrific stuff. Thanks to the new CO for keeping this one going and finding a solution to the online problem. An easy FP from me.

Our quest to find this geocache began 4 years ago this very same month.
The first one we had found was IQ3, in May 2017. Having solved and found Number 3, our curiosity was piqued and the rest of the series sat on our radar often.
For us, they sat idol until 2020, and then, with more time being spent here in Queensland rather than on the road elsewhere, we were able to target a few of our good and old geocaches.
Over a number of visits we gradually collected all of the series and kept the clues. Each of the field puzzles gave us smiles and we loved the adventure along the way. It is worth noting that although this series is quite old, it has been maintained and kept by the current CO, Beardman75 who has replaced parts as necessary.
At one point we realised we did not have the clues for Number 3, and so had taken a walk back out there, only to find that we could no longer find the geocache. Yes it was indeed there ( confirmed by CO) , but clearly our eyes have faded since 2017.
With all four puzzles solved, collected and clues noted, we had a fair idea of what needed to be done with all of the information.
The original format however was no longer working in order to get us the coordinates for number 5.
Fairly recently the CO has updated the information on this one, and now with all the information collected from the other caches in this series it is good to go again.
Today we thought we would take a short walk to GZ, however, not having looked at the contours on the map, we didn’t realise we were in for such a lovely walk over varied terrain. Everything was green and very wet, and we lengthened our walk by taking a detour to the top.
We found the hide with its lovely large container, with it’s hidey-hole that looked big enough to almost live in. Mr Domsky did the honours of stepping down and into the the small cavern, while mountain bikers shot past oblivious to any sketchy activity happening at GZ.
Thanks Beardman75 for maintaining this series.
2 FPs if we could. An excellent adventure!

Unfortunately, the web site used to decode the location of this cache uses an outdated technology that will no longer run. More recent decoders don't seem to provide the correct message. In order to keep this cache alive, I have created a Certitude checker.
To get the final location, simply enter into the checker, in order, as a single string, the following:
* The three digits received from IQ1
* The five digits received from IQ2
* The five digits received from IQ3
* The three text strings received from IQ4

On a cool morning I must say reclimbing this hill was rather pleasant. Also worth it to finally get the final of this awesome series. Thanks for keeping it alive! Fave point
It was back in Mar 2019 that I was last in the area and the thought crossed my mind, why is beer so expensive and why the eventual GZ location didn't have a hide. I knew some cache was in the vicinity, just not which one!!
Time went by and my IQ improved by single digits when I had enough information to reach the penultimate level, IQ5!! Went back in my shell with the data gathered, hoping the information would mature and work itself out. Alas this strategy also failed me at uni so then began the hard slog. Getting little headway it was time to stalk previous finders or wear them down. Knowing everyone has their breaking limit I was thrown a bone and took an educated guess of the final.
It's taken a while to complete all the IQs and its good to see the baton passed onto new hands to keep this great series alive. A Fav point is in order for all the past CO's and Beardman75 for their hard work.

With a day off from work I had planned to grab a few caches and do a nice little walk around Mt. Cotton park lands off Mt. cotton road, then grab a few puzzles caches that I’ve solved on the way back home. Having to continue my trad a day and my cache a day challenges it was going to be a nice day of caching. But some days all good plans don’t seem to end as planned.
During the day the weather changed and I got rained out, plus on one cache I found some partly barb wire to which I got extremely messed up in and fell and subsequently ripped my right leg up on, ending the walk.
This part of the day I parked at a trailhead and started my walk with a cache what at the start. Continuing my walk I grabbed a couple more before getting to a puzzle cache that I had solved by finding one part and getting a further clue from a previous finder. While I ripped my leg open in here my further caches were then halted, so I will have to come back and finish off at a later date.
Of the caches I found all were in good order, thank you for placing them here and I look forward to walking this area again.

Headed south to the Redlands to track down a few older caches, it seems this area is blessed with quite a few we have yet to visit.
This was the target cache for the day, having received a little help with solving it. The journey to get here has been several years long, so it's gratifying to finally make the grab. Having climbed this lil hill for caches a few times previously, we were pretty familiar with the track that needed to be taken . Cache remains in great shape, though I'm not sure how anyone could stumble across it! Adding a fave.

Monday. After having solved IQ3 first up, it was quite some time before we targeted the other IQ caches. IQs 1 and 2 were next and then IQ4 was a bit of a worry as some of the info was hard to read. It was a task, but eventually, I had some info that proved to be stuff we needed to then work on #5. So, after several hours trying to find an online machine that would have all the right ‘things’ that I could manipulate, and I think, losing some hair in the process, we ended up with some numbers that looked good for this cache. Today was the day to see if we were right and thankfully we were! I took a hard look inside and saw the prize. A terrific series to have worked on and fun as well. Loved the area we found the cache in as well. I don’t remember how long it has taken us, but I think it would be a couple of years at least between finding our first IQ cache and then finding IQ5. My IQ certainly was tested on this cache!
This was the 12th of 19 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Rogainer***, for showing us this place.

Found this in a round about way... Stopped on my walk to let a couple of 4wd past, and thought that looks a good place to sit and have a rest. Look down and I see signs of a cache, and sure enough one is soon uncovered. TFTC!
GOT IT!
Wow - some significant effort needed on this one indeed. But this enigmatic one did prevail!
So. Having collected all the clues - and knowing essentially what I had to do with them, I figured the tools I can access will get me there in very short order.
Nah.
This 'version' doesn't quite align to the normal way(s) of doing this. I researched and learned the full theory and tried to apply what I knew, what I was given and what I had before me. Nope. Could not make it twist right.
And then I discovered (after a message of mercy) there is a Russells (no, not Ruzzelz, someone else) approach to this. It seems to be completely unique in its approach and attitude about these things. But extremely promising.
However the challenge didn't cease there. It doesn't like my computer. Or possibly the whole 21st century actually. So took a while to set it up all rightly ... plugged in some data and hey presto!!!! Out came fresh coordinates.
Happy Dance.
Now. Having actually already been to that location I can now, finally, 20 months later, claim the smiley.
Yeah, I'm happy about that.
Thanks for placing this cache, Manta (Maintenance by Rogainer). Signed the logbook in January 2016 - it was in good condition then.

Finally logging a find here, after meeting all the requirements to log this find with signing the log on IQ4 earlier today (7/4/17). I've really enjoyed exploring the various areas associated with this series. The final was on a beautiful warm Sunday afternoon (20/11/16) with sunset beckoning. The walk up to the final I have completed before and knew it was a worthy challenge to complete this final. With The_Hinds spurring me on up, up upwards we finally made it the top and made my way to GZ. It was an adventure in itself diving into GZ ants and all trying to retrieve the cache. We enjoyed looking at the contents, the log book and of course the swaps. My little niece loves swaps, so I swapped the hello kitty glasses for her. Tftc
Update!! Elly (chasingadventures) just told me she took the Hello Kitty glasses and left some butterfly rubbers! Just making it known in case anyone rushes up there expecting to come home with some hot pink sunnies and is utterly disappointed! I don't want to be responsible for that...
2 months ago I attended the Wynnum get together event and this series was mentioned.. It sounded intriguing so I set about finding the clues The next few weekend caching trips had us in the vicinity of picking some of them up, Gridlock was the only one we didn't solve on the spot, and our favourite 2nd only to the final puzzle! I lucked out on finding a compatible 'tool' first try, and loved using it. It was very nifty!
A day caching on the GC, and a new puzzle close to home just didn't seem to satisfy today so a trip to this cache was the answer! A long but gorgeous walk to GZ where the cache was quickly wrestled from the spiders hiding in the black shadows! Log book dry! Woohoo Read some of the messages previous finders had left which were lovely Some very interesting swag too - loved the hello kitty glasses but didn't bring anything to swap them for so I hope they find a new home soon
Thanks for the series - a message to CO to follow with an update on the condition of some of the caches which are all readable, and solvable independently with some tweaks, but 3/5 require maintenance

It has been an interesting journey finding the various caches in the IQ series, some being easier than others to get our head around. This final one was certainly a doozy to get the grey matter working. After a bit of prodding and shoving in the right direction, a set of co-ordinates eventually came to hand
Once we found ourselves searching for caches not too far away, it was time to make the effort to turn this puzzle cache into a smiley. We had a nice little walk to ground zero and the cache located easily enough.
Thank you Rogainer for maintaining the cache for everyone to enjoy

13/08/2016, 2:19 PM Find #1000
We started caching in September last year and, on our first day, we visited Minnippi parklands to find a couple of caches. While we were there, we noticed a couple of question marks on the map. We didn't know what they were so we left them alone. One of those was IQ2.
Fast forward about nine months and we had found about 800 caches, about 100 of them being puzzles, four of those being from the IQ series.
After we collected IQ3, our last of the series, I sat down to work out where IQ5 might be hiding. I knew what to do but had some trouble finding the right tool to help me. Eventually, with the help of a previous finder, I found the right tool and a set of coordinates fell out.
Of course, my immediate thought was to go out and find the cache. But we had been discussing what we would do for our 1000th cache and, with this cache solved, a plan fell into place. At the time, we had found about 70 of the 81 D/T combinations on the grid. It turned out that IQ5 was not one of those that we had.
So the plan became to track down the remaining caches for the D/T grid over the next 200 finds. Then our 1000th find would also complete our D/T grid. This was no easy task and required kayaking trips to Lake Manchester and Lake Somerset as well as a walk down Back Creek Gorge and a visit to Mt Tambourine. Then there was just the small matter of solving 50 Shades of Grey, Chocolate Pavlova and a couple of other D5 puzzles.
At the beginning of August, we were sitting on 80 D/T and we pencilled in Sunday 15th August to get our 1000th. This meant that I had to slow my caching right down and pace myself. It was tough but I managed. Lol.
Today, we headed to Hamilton to get a multi to both fulfil the August challenge and to get a souvenir. On finding that we jumped from 997 finds to 999 (including the challenge). I said to the geowife, "do you want to do our 1000th today?"
We decided to do that so jumped in the car and headed straight to GZ. After parking the car about 600m from GZ, we began the walk up the hill. The kids did well but the geowife is not as fit as she would like and it was a struggle for her. To her credit, she didn't complain once but just kept going. Before too long we were at GZ and looking for the cache. I can hand on heart say that at least three of us looked in the hide and saw nothing before I looked closer on my second look and spotted the cache. It should have been an amazing and satisfying moment except that the kids were bickering over who got what swaps. Kids hey. Lol.
We signed the log and took a group photo before returning the cache and heading back to the car.
We chose this cache as our 1000th because, to us, it is an iconic cache. It has sat here for 12 years and, in that time, has been found by only 36 people. That's an impressive stay in itself given its proximity to a major population centre. But when you look at the list of cachers who have found it, it reads like a who's who of caching in South East Queensland over the past twelve years. We consider ourselves honoured to be able to put our names in the same log book.
TFTC and the fantastic series Manta. And thanks to Rogainer for maintaining them. Thanks also to all the cachers who have put fantastic caches out there for us to find over the past 11 months

My first find on this series was back in May 2014 with the last 3 back in August 15. With all the required information to hand, I went looking for the relevant tool to put evrything together and extract the coordinates. With no immediate success back then the final puzzle faded from mind and I have for some reason been sitting on the information for some 10 months. When reviewing my current DT grid this week I realised that it would fill one of the gaps in my current loop, and so I had another look for the required tool. With a bit more focus and effort I managed to find the right one and tweaked a few settings to get it to work as intended. With the clear instructions included in the puzzle the final coordinates instantly became apparent and I began planning a visit to GZ. Today provided the ideal opportunity and I headed of for the drive to GZ. After looking at the map I could not recall the area but a collection of smilies nearby indicated I had visited before. As I started walking in to GZ it did not take me long to remember the walk up that trail on the last occasion. A hop skip and jump later and I was standing at GZ and soon spotted the cache hidden away in its lair. Thanks to Manta/Rogainer for and enjoyable puzzle series.
Found and signed as part of a walk in the woods, but as I have not solved this, nor indeed any of the others in this series ... a write note for now. Found in great condition though. Now. Must get my thinking hat it appears.
Woohoo! Number 900 and what a great cache for a milestone!
It has been a long time since I first started looking at this series and I have been chipping away at it for over two years. Today I was determined to finish it and I was tooled up for the job with all the required devices on board my mobile "geo-office". I had gathered all the required information, some of it now from my archives, and I chose a peaceful location to sit and put it all together. Well, I must have tried 10 or so different methods of assimilating and manipulating the data when I decided to use a lifeline to a previous finder. He pointed me to the specific version of tool that he had used and I set about the task over again. This time it worked out nicely and I got sensible answers. (I could not replicate these answers in any other tool when I got home by the way.)
So, I finally knew where to go and I was vaguely familiar with the location and proceeded to make haste to that location forthwith, and quickly! The sunlight was fading by the time I arrived there but it was sufficient enough for me to spy the container and plan my next move. This took a bit of ingenuity and careful coordination but I secured the cache and soon had the thing opened before me. This had been a long but fulfilling adventure and I felt a definite sense of achievement when I had finally signed my name in the log book. Thanks to Manta for first devising this complex IQ test, and thanks so much to Rogainer for your diligent work with the maintenance of all five caches and waypoints. One of my all-time favourite caches.
PS I left my hand-crufted tool next to the container for the next cacher! If you get there soon enough it might still be useable!

About six weeks ago, Mr Fungus and I set out on an awfully hot January day to collect this series of Puzzles in one day. We worked our way through the series and along the way collected a whole host of other puzzles and higher D/T caches. A late lunch found us sitting in a cafe in Wellington Point, with four down and the laptop fired up ready to compute the final waypoint for IQ 5.
Except that the preferred tool kept giving us gobbledegook. Feeling a different tool (one that perhaps better matched the CO's description) would be beneficial, we did a bit of searching.
A likely tool popped up, but then the computer told us our coffee was out of date and there would be no 'puting of answers till it was updated. We gave it away that day and instead went and reconnoitred some morally corrupt stuff nearby.
Fast forward 5 weeks and Fungus has the answer. So today I took another look. Turns out my coffee at home was old and also needed updating. Finally, after much frustration, I had new coffee. But then my coffee was worried about the security status of the tool - so I had to add the tool to the safe tool list. Still no luck as the coffee still wouldn't let the tool do its thing. By now, I was ready to throw the 'puter out the window. After messaging Fungus about my frustrations, I tried that great IT fix - the reboot - and low and behold I had the answer.
A couple of hours later, Fungus and I ventured - somewhat leisurely - from our chosen access point to the final. Of course, I have walked right past here before and never known what was hidden in the depths nearby. Fungus tested his dodgy knee by climbing down into the depths to retrieve the cache. Job done.
Many thanks, Manta and Rogainer. This delightfully frustrating puzzle nicely fills one of only four blank spots on my DT grid.

We came, we saw we conquered!
While Crookedpete and I tried to compete this series in one day (and in a VERY badly geographical sequence) we found ourselves sitting but a stones throw from a solution. All that was needed was some enigmatic thinking. As I had only recently solved two of these types of puzzles I shoved CP aside and said 'Let me at it'. I twirled, I fiddled, I reworked, I restarted, I rotated, I flipped, I restarted, I pulled, I prided and I restarted again. Nothing, nada, zip, zero, zilch. All I got was gobbledegook. I do recall that one particular applet would not play the game, and no matter how I tried I could not get any other 'online solver' to work. Sadly we had to call it quits until I could spend more time on it.
A few weeks later, a lot of cursing, and some downloads and still nothing would make this applet work. Finally and for no discernible reason, the machine finally fired up. Woot, and don't all the clues fit in very nicely!
So today, after prodding CP a few times in the head (metaphorically) we both had the final, and so back we went to the Dark Side. We climbed the hill with Dicky Knee, and Dicky foot and made the quick and easy find in the first place we looked. It was great looking at some of the older logs in the original logbook.
A favorite point for a fantastic series from start to finish. Thank Manta and Thanks Rogainer for keeping the IQ series alive.

FINALLY!!!
Six months spent trying to stuff clues and portions into the wrong vending machines.
Thanks to Rogainer for the address of a rival vending machine operator.
After nervously overcoming much blocking and threats of imminent destruction to my gear the new vending machine worked first time.
Completed the series with a midday walk up to GZ and photographed the Enigmatic sheet.
A frustrating but worthwhile series ... thanks guys

Well, good things come to an end. I know thats cliche but that is the case here. After gathering all the clues last weekend and having a week of punching in the right info, I soon had a decoded message with some numbers. Being in the area today, I thought to stop by and make it all official. I will say that you earn the terrain rating on this one for sure. I love the little hide at the end, and I will say I had to jump in there. I also broke a bike chain and lost the chain on the way down.
Thankyou very much Manta/Rogainer, its been a pleasure.

I have slowly but surely been working away at finding this series. Today Net88 and myself made the final journey to finish it off. We spent the morning finding IQ3 and then with all necessary information collected and a final destination locked in, we zoomed off in Spangle to create another smilie for our maps!
We parked Spangle, grabbed our water bottles and started the walk. Up, up and up some more, until finally we were close. We both spotted a likely location for hiding a cache so headed over to investigate. Sure enough we had found the beasty I had a small poke and prod to make sure there was no actual slithering, crawly beasties and then plucked the cache from its hidey hole. After signing the log we replaced the cache as we had found it.
Thanks for the cache Rogainer

Nyssaflutterby and I were discussing which caches we should get whilst out for the day and this cache was mentioned. Nyssa had found all the other IQ caches in the series except number three and we were planning on getting it first up. After finishing number 3 we jumped in the car and started making sense of all the information. Before too long we had the coordinates for this cache and made our way over to the right part of town.
We parked the car at a convenient spot and started the rest of the way on foot. We headed up the hill, and further up, and then a little more and soon we were at the right height to start looking. We spotted a quite likely hidey hole and on further investigation we spotted the cache. Nyssa checked for any snakes or spiders with a stick before grabbing the container.
We signed the logbook and had a look through the swaps before replacing the cache as found. Thanks for the cache Rogainer.. I can't wait to finish the series for myself.

Today is a good day, finding a cache that has probably received over the total process the most attention of any.
The journey started many months ago when I first took a look at IQ1, however had never actually got around to going to the location at the time. Which was followed a month or two later with a visit to the clue at IQ4. At the time, I was over thinking it and it went another month or two before I come up with the solution, and as able to log IQ4. IQ1 followed in relatively quick succession.
It was then a time to look to the others IQ3 and IQ2, they had their own challenges however were soon enough solved. Which gave enough information to finally take a look at this little cache.
Well I hit something of a roadblock then, I knew almost immediately what was required to solve the problem. Knowing what is needed and finding what you need are two different things though. So the information sat there since early October waiting for me to work things out and solve the information.
I took a few attempts, and all come up without anything useful. Until a week or two ago. I figured out, where to get help on the answer with a little help from Mr Google. Once I had the right stuff which included some numbers I took a look, and thought well there could be a problem, it did not seem right. However a second run through and it was confirmed.
So Finally with a little chat with Ms Maddy, it was decided to go for a walk late this afternoon when it had cooled down to get this one. I arrived a little early and noted another potential problem, however we decided to take the walk it was not a long one, unfortunately one we had been on before, but not to worry.
After the walk we made it to a likely spot, and then I spied a the spot that the cache may be hiding, and I took a few tentative steps to recover, before an assurance from Ms Maddy that she had a bandage for snake bites so I went all in. With the log signed, it time for the walk back to the car.
TFTC and the journey to get to the cache
The journey started many months ago when I first took a look at IQ1, however had never actually got around to going to the location at the time. Which was followed a month or two later with a visit to the clue at IQ4. At the time, I was over thinking it and it went another month or two before I come up with the solution, and as able to log IQ4. IQ1 followed in relatively quick succession.
It was then a time to look to the others IQ3 and IQ2, they had their own challenges however were soon enough solved. Which gave enough information to finally take a look at this little cache.

TFTC and the journey to get to the cache
A trip down memory lane to see where this journey started. IQ2 was logged on 11 January 2013. So almost a year to complete the series. At some point I joined forces with OrionJ to complete the series and just as well as this final cache was a doozy.
After a hot Boxing Day out with friends in the sun, I was keen to sit at home today after a morning visit to the dive shop for some yellow fins. Then rocking the air conditioning from the comfort of my couch
A chat on FB with OJ and we decided to meet at the most unlikely spot to seek out IQ5. Are you sure that's where the map is pointing? It didn't look feasible for a couple of reasons. I think we were both also a bit peeved as we've trudged past here on more than one occasion. There was another reason why the coords looked dodgy but I won't go into detail. Oh well!
I got lost en route and arrived a bit late but then we were both heading for the trail and, at least in my case, not appropriately dressed as I felt disinclined to change out of my couch-surfing clothing for this adventure. Did manage to sit in Sooty's boot and pull on a pair of sandshoes
Some discussion about our bearing and a pretty good slog but, hey, what better way to work off all that holiday indulgence. Still not convinced about the coords until we were at GZ and there was an obvious spot for a hide. I confirmed the crepe bandage was in my bag and then OJ did a Gumby trick and squeezed into the hidey hole. The cache is in good nick! Aired out the bag of swag but all is dry inside. Stickered the logbook and on we rolled back down the track.
We started the walk in around 5.45pm as it was cooler and light was fading by the time we got back to the vehicles. Happy to have survived this puzzle series with my sanity intact (sort of). A nice wander it was Still surprised where IQ5 turned out to be! I wouldn't have guessed there!
TFTC Rogainer A FAVE point from moi! Great fun!

This cache has been a long time in the making. I did IQ1 in August last year, IQ3 in December, IQ4 in July and IQ2 yesterday. All of the puzzles were solved on the spot (Google is my friend ). It has been an interesting journey. Certainly I have learned lots of stuff along the way.
As to the final puzzle, I was a little worried. So many different methods for solving it! I already had 2 of them, but each seemed to be missing a vital part and all the clues just wouldn't fit However, I knew teamdfl had solved it so I asked her for a hint. Last night she sent me 2 links, and one of them was perfect [^] I was able to get all the clues to fit, and the numbers just flowed out of it. Woohoo!! GZ plotted and GPS prepared for today.
This morning I took the long drive to the dark side, and found a good starting point for my walk. Mmmm, think I've been here before, and I remember I had quite a struggle Well, thankfully the fitness levels are a lot higher now, and the walk to GZ was much more easily achieved. Happy about that! The numbers counted down just fine, and at GZ there seemed to be plenty of interesting hiding spots, but one really stuck out. On much closer inspection I found myself a cache. Yay! Sometimes it's useful to be small!!!!
This cache is a special one for me:
it's my 2700th find overall, so is a mini-milestone
it's my 270th puzzle, which is 10% of my total finds
and it fills in the second last box on my D/T grid [^]
TFTC, Rogainer and Manta. A pleasure to make it a smilie today, and a favourite point from me.

Wooohooo. I think I started this series when I first started caching over 3 years ago. It has taken me a while to get round them all. I found the first four caches relatively easy, and managed to solve them all on the spot.
This was not so easy.
I had all the info. I new the equipment I needed, but my efforts at fishing were ineffectual. Tried a few different techniques to no avail. Called for help. Svn07 offered her fishing gear, but that still left me stumped. A plea for help to Gunnie69 finally had me set up correctly. Numbers in hand off I marched.
It seems I had the same issues as Fangsoki at GZ. My GPS took me on an extra adventure for a while. There were plenty of possible hidey holes, but I was not finding my prize. When I decided to check the GPS again it wanted me 20m away. The cache was then located
Thanks for keeping this great series going Rogainer

During my caching career I have looked at this series a lot and felt it out of my reach, perhaps for the more serious cachers among us or something. Well I figure I am as obsessed as the rest of the crowd, so why not have a go. Admittedly, Fangsoki finding them all recently did give me the final nudge I needed to get going on the series.
So this being the final was never going to be easy and I'll confess, I was a bit naughty getting the final co-ords to this one. I had the clues nicely filed away for IQ's 1, 2 and 3. When I received the WP1 information from Fangsoki, he also emailed me the hint I'd need from it, to save me the trip or something. So I sat and pondered with the information. I tried to decrypt hints from the cache page, tried trying to somehow use my head to solve it, and gave my monthly internet allowance a fair hit with just google searches. I wasn't having much luck, but with a few questions asked around the place I finally got a set of co-ords. This process did last several nights and I think I sure worked for my T4.5 without even looking for the cache!
I had a look at the co-ords on the map and could have sworn. In a place I'd only just been for some caches, but I guess, it was a nice area and worth a second visit A bit of a drive from IQ$ where I'd just been and I was parked and poised for the hunt. Looking at the terrain rating, I wondered if I was underprepared, with only a pen, phone GPS and half a dagwood dog (what? I was having lunch on the run). I recalled though what the area was like last time and decided to head off, lunch in hand. Such a beautiful day out today and I was happy to be in this area again. When lunch was over I jogged along the familiar track until I came to the right spot. Before leaving the track I had a glance at previous logs and Fangsoki's did not instil me with great confidence. I followed the GPS and moved towards the obvious feature. I peered about and soon spotted the cache. Well, that wasn't hard.
Getting it out didn't excite me, it's places like this I fear things with teeth bigger than mine would like to hide. I employed a stick and some girly tactics to get the cache out. I sat on the ground nearby and sifted through the swaps before locating the logbook and reading the entries from over the years. I love caches such as this. Older than most and requiring a lot more effort. I added my entry at the bottom and celebrated my 2900th find by myself. I rehid the cache all as found, I even used my hands this time, almost convinced nothing inside wanted to eat me.
I stuck around the area for a while and wandered back to the car a bit slower, enjoying the surrounds with a sense of satisfaction having completed this series. It wasn't too hard after all but well worth the effort. TFTC to both Mantra and Rogainer A definite favourite point from me!

Since I started caching, the whole notion of this series troubled me. I thought it to be "out of my reach" - not being the quickest of cats. But here I am - doing IQ5.
So yes.. I had figured what had to be done.. but how to do it? I prayed to various gods... consulted crypotologists, swore very loudly, and paid for useless apps on my smartphone to help me. Something with the information I had did not "gel" I eventually came up with a solution. I'll be happy if I don't have to go through that process again.
I decided to make the jaunt today to finalize the deed. I made my way into the familiar area, but beautiful area. After a bit of a climb and a clamber, I was finally at GZ....ish? Stupid GPSr.... why are you telling me 3m away.. and now 40m away?
I motored about following the rotten GPSr as it changed its mind. Perhaps I should have bought a metal detector? I resorted to my smartphone.. which wasn't much better. Blast Eventually however, the GPSr did settle down. I hunted around for a while. Nothing. Widened my search. Still nothing.
I decided to go back to my original search area. Aha! Sneaky hide indeed! With the aid of a stick, I managed to get the beast. It was in great condition. I cleaned the seals of some grass, signed the log, and returned it to its home.
A fantasitc cache and series overall, Manta and Rogainer. I am very happy to see these old caches being kept alive. TFTC

At that time 3 of the other 4 where MIA so needed some hints from GG 7 G69 to solve.
IQ1 & IQ3 were found soon after but it's taken me till 19th April 2013 to get IQ2 - now done - trusting CO will no let me make this claim of a find

Thanks TRogainer for a great challenging series

Well this was a long time coming for this series. IQ1 is not too far from where I live so I have always had in the back of my mind to do the series.
I managed to complete the prerequisite caches over 12 months earlier and had all the information required to solve for the final. I had a look at a few methods of solving it but they always looked too complicated or there was simply not enough information. SO I had left it for another time.
One day said had I looked at this way and after a quick look I had me some co-ordinates. We'll that was easy! Gunnie then said he was keen to knock this one over his 4000th find and if I and Kaiho53 would like to join him for the momentous occasion.
When I saw where GZ was, I had sudden recollection of the double time my heart was doing, but on a crisp Sunday morning, I thought it shouldn't have been too bad. Well it wasn't really. In fact it was a real superb winters morning, all fitting for the big milestone!
The cache w3as quickly found, the obligatory photo was taken and congratulatory handshakes made and we were off for a celebratory coffee at the bottom of the hill, after of course finding a few more caches.

Out with Gunnie69 and Ghostgums today to celebrate Gunnie's 4.000th find being this one.
After an early meet and a hike up the hill we approached GZ..
Ghostgums & I hung back to give Gunnie his moment of glory and so it was...
Happy snaps taken as the container was brought to light and congratulations all round.
Log was signed in a leisurely fashion as we all enjoyed the moment of Gunnie's achievements.
Soon after we headed out for nearby caches to round out our day
Sadly can't log this as a find today as at least of the pre-requisite caches are MIA at the moment
Hopefully they will be in place again soon to allow me to complete the series

IQ3 was the first of the prerequisite cache I secured for this, back in April 2010. Since then I have plodded along and secured the others as I cached around the respective areas. With all of them done and dusted last year sometime, I had the clues I needed but struggled to find the final location and clearly needed to become more enigmatic than I was...
Although I had found the right "device", I could not for the life of me get it to accept all the clues. Hmm, I must be doing something wrong here... I went beck to my friend google and found another couple of things that I thought might help but nope, no banana...
After battling for some months with what I had found, I sent an SOS to a previous finder to ask if they remembered where they found the gadget and if I had all I needed. Shortly after, I received a link that would see me on the right path. Aha, I had not come across this before and it looks like just the thing I need to move in the right direction... On investigation, it took everything it needed to without trying to sneak into the working parts... Excellent... [^] With all elements set, the essential part of the clue was put to good use and voila, I had me some coords... YAY... About time... [B)]
So, that was a while ago now but after waiting for a couple of years, I figured there was no rush to grab the cache and wanted to make the walk and find something to remember. Today, positioned on a certain number of finds, I took to the path with Kaisho53 and Ghostgums, to haul it in. We kicked off a little after 7am when the morning air was still, shall we say fresh... I thought the climb might have eased the cool but nope, I retained the jumper for the duration.... [^]
As we neared GZ, the hiding spot became apparent and with a little poke, the cache was revealed. My partners in caching crime stood back and let me move in for the extraction. After moving into the right position, I removed the necessary camo to reveal a fine container all in good condition...
Camera's at the ready, a couple of snaps were taken as I pulled it out and secured my 4000th cache. .. I learnt quite a bit along the way. Not only in the puzzles, but in the locations I was taken too and in one case, how to remain calm in the face of adversity... Damn you IQ1, you eluded me waaaay too many times...
It was great to tick this off and secure it as a milestone cache. A great series and great location for the final.
Cheers Rogainer.

I started caching ion August 2004 and this series came out in the December. I was not into chasing series caches and so it was a while before I attempted any of the IQ caches.
Over the years I have gradually ticked them off the list and then once I had the final one I realised that I had lost most of the clues and didn't have any idea how to solve this one.
A call some time ago to Rogainer and I had all the information and then I worked out a set of coordinates.
As the final cache location is in an area which is not in my usual hunting area I had put it off until today.
It probably wasn't the best time of year to attempt it but the little mark on the map was taunting me.
I had researched the area and located an access point.
A pleasant stroll along with some huffing and puffing up a few hills and I arrived at the search area.
For some reason my GPS was a bit slow in calculating and had me wandering around a bit before it settled on a likely spot. I grabbed the cache and signed the log.
I took a high vis vest out. I am sure I can find a use for it and dropped in a handful of other swaps.
Thanks to Manta and Rogainer for keeping the series alive. I see that I am now the 19th smilie on the page after over 7 years.

We have now completed the other caches in the series and solved the puzzle to get the final coords the right way!!! The owner has kindly allowed us to log this as a find now Thanks for the great series.
I left our note as a note because it would throw out our milestones!
I left our note as a note because it would throw out our milestones!
Well after a year I've finally finished all in this series.
I must say it has been a fun way to do caching and some of the puzzles along the way were a nice challenge.
I had all the info so I found the tool required and inputted my clues gathered from the other caches.
Out came the magic numbers and the plan was put in motion to tackle it today.
I could have found an easier entry point and I suppose if I had of read the logs for a another nearby cache I might have found where to park.
No matter the walk from where the car was parked was interesting.
Arrived at GZ and saw an obvious geocachers favorite hiding spot.
I wasn't game to hop right in after encoutering one snake already on this walk so I found me a stick and checked all was clear first.
Been a long time between finds for this one but finally I've added my name to the list as well.
TFTC.

Finally....the day has arrived....for the Enigmatic to prevail!!! I enjoyed this series so much and feel quite satisfied that I had no help with any component [^]. I started with IQ4 in Aug '08, then did 2, 1 and then IQ3 in Sept '08. So I have had the final coords for over 18 months . Finally had the opportunity to head out today and discovered that the cache has not been found for two and a half years....so a very satisfying find in lots of ways.
Shared the walk through this lovely bushland with Lokipagan and JackyLegs and found the other cache in the vicinity while we were here.
Thank you for this really outstanding series. Had so many challenging aspects....my favorite series ever. So much so, that I made sure this landed on a milestone....my 600th find.
Thanks for the challenge, the series and the cache Manta and Rogainer. Cheers, svn07
Also rescued the geocoin that has been stranded here for 3 years...let's get you moving again!

Along for a free ride with svn07 today to celebrate her 600th find!! Seems like this cache needed a bit of company! Great final location. Sorry for bypassing the order with this one but we will eventually get around to completing the whole series as rumour suggests it is well worth the grey-matter strain. TFTC Rogainer

What a great series! It didnt take us long to get the machine fired up and we were in business. Its was getting late but we pressed on and managed to get to the site before dark. Thanks to Manta and Rogainer for the challenge!!!
Solved the final piece about 6 weeks ago (motive) and school holiday treat at a nearby establishment gave us the opportunity. Great walk and what a great series. TFTC
Oh the stess of it all!!!!! The brain matter has never been worked so hard. Then had to resort to phone a friend or rather email a friend in order to conquer this demon of a cache. I was oh so close but just could not figure out which one to use for the last little bit. So obtained hints from Rogainer but more importantly Lat&Long Junkie steered me in the right direction. Thanks so much Lat&Long - would have given up except for you. Thank you thank you thank you thank you. Series done and solved!!!! Thank heavens - RIVER DEEP MOUNTAIN HIGH - Yahoo over, done, finished!!!! Thank goodness!! Thanks for the series we have truly enjoyed them all. Done little bit by little bit.
aaaargh!,ye' pirates found this one the easist in ye' series, what a relieve!,loved the whole series an' loved the final hidin' spot, thanks simon'n'paul
Woohoo!
I've been sitting on the coordinates for this one since last week, but was unable to go up and do it due to a foot fracture sustained in China last month. Today I decided it was time, and set off to conquer this cache. I enjoyed the hike in, and to a nearby vantage point. Thanks for this series!

A few of my coins and one of my bugs also stopped in for a visit.

Oh sweet, sweet feeling that it is when the co-ordinates are revealed [^]. Like other players, I had a couple of versions of the 'much sort after machine'. Everything turned out for the best, but it was a bit of a head-scratching chase.
This odyssey started on the 18th June last year, when I solved IQ4 Gridlock. It was the toughest one for me, and worthy of being my 100th cache.
So today, Mrs Lat&Long and I set off for IQ5. We found it easily, and after poking around with a stick and hearing the unmistakable sound of a cache being poked with a stick, I had no qualms about jumping right into retrieve mode. I absolutely love the hiding place . The greatest prize was the stash note (see photo). TN/LN/SL.
You know, I was just 100 metres from this cache, only two months ago. Oh, all the other folks who have treked past on the way to 'that other cache' . . . and all the while, IQ5 sits quitely, biding its time, and watching you all .

I happened to be passing by, so checked up on this cache - all is in excellent order and awaiting more visitors.
Thanks Manta . We were accompanied by the shortest 2 Happy Harries because they had legs that worked . Under the guidance of the oldest, most bunged legged Happy Harry(frustrated Harry) We set off up a very familiar hill. When we approached G.Z we realised it was the exact same tree hollow we had earmarked for one of our first cache hides. Loaded with great stuff and replaced with a great trinkets we headed back to the car . This series has been an education for all and we have enjoyed all the challenges ,each stage has offered. Thanks Manta
Well it took some work but finally I worked out how to decode the clues. However I was then even more frustrated to discover the cache was out of crutcure range. So I called on the Nanks with a deal and sent the two small Happy harries along for the hunt. Thanks David for providing the legs for this one. Hopefully I'll be back on deck soon.Unfortunatley looks like I'll have a lot of catching up to do.Thanks Manta for a very challenging series I look forward to some more grey matter challenges in the future.
Found it ! #300 for the HawMorFords and what a special one it was !
I will fess up right here, i got a little help from Manta with the last decoding device as i had plenty of them but unfortunately, none of them were up to it. Thanks Simon.
Re the find today. I found myself out this side of town while at work and thought i would take a quick look....
After a nice walk along a good track, i found the cache pretty quickly - but retrieving it in my nice work clothes proved to be more than interesting !!! It is a great hiding spot but the drycleaners will benefit out of this find !!!
Thanks to Manta for a terrific series - we really enjoyed the puzzles and the challenge. Highly Recommnended.

Yeah, finally got round to grabbing this cache. Thanks for a great series of caches. Grabbed Blue M-M TB.
Well done Garners and thank you for your positive comments. I've almost forgotten that "thrill of the chase" feeling but it's good to relive it through the eyes of "practising" cachers like yourselves.
Found at 11:20am after a very nice walk. A fitting end to the wonderful IQ series & we're very proud to have completed it. Manta, you should be proud of this series, its a corker!
We took a pair of wire cutters and put in a bike lock and M-M Blue Travel Bug.

Nothing like an afternoon stroll up a cliff face. I am sure that there must be an easier way in.
Very entertaining series Manta. Thanks for putting it together.
TN but left a pair of pliers.

We've had the co-ords since the evening the IQ4 find, but we hadn't had the chance to go together to find this last one (and we did want to find it together).
So today was the day and it was a great finale to the series.
A little lego set was traded for a door/window alarm.
We have enjoyed the IQ challenges along the way very much -thanks Manta!
Cheers from the Dohertys
PS (Tom's addition) Let me just say that I was the one to go into the ultimate danger zone after lots of "It might be in there, but I am NOT going to look".
Thanks again Simon.

Happy new year!
Mission completed today 1/1/05 @ 15:30.
GPS had me wandering around all over the place at GZ for quite a while, but I eventually found the cache - should have trusted my instincts a little earlier. Having done all the hard work, I wasn't going to give up easily. This was a great series which Manta has put a fair bit of work into.
Ironically I drove past this area about 4 days ago and thought to myself 'hmmm, could be potential for a cache in there'.
I took some clamps and put in some lego - also dropped off Lucky duck travel bug.
This is the first of the local series caches that I have actually completed - now to cross the river & complete a few more
Thanks Simon, it was fun.

You're right, it was far too hot for caching but you know what they say about mad dogs & Englishmen.

Wooohooo, first find.
I've been following this series for months now and I scored first find on a few of them so it was good to get it on the final cache too.
Did IQ4 this morning, got home to figure out the co-ords for this one using all the clues, then back over the gateway AGAIN to nab it.
Was a bit tough in the heat, especially when I had to go back for my sunglasses which I left at the cache. I only realised when I was halfway back - what an idiot
Great location for this one, with some nice views on the way.
Thanks for a great series of caches that really got me thinking.
Took "My Nuts" which were squashed in the cache and a bit uncomfortable.
Other than that TNLN.

Congratulations to The Four Bears for being the first to complete the IQ series. I must apologise for being so tardy in getting the final caches out - it seems at least a couple of players were eagerly awaiting their arrival.
Four Bears got through without any assistance from me so they can rightfully claim the First Finders Prize which will be sent to them in due course.
I hope that others continue with the series despite the FTF and the prize being already awarded.
Cheers,
Simon.

Well done bears, & yes Manta I will pursue this one when time permits. I checked the site this morning & was very tempted to sneak out grab IQ 4/5 this morning, but guilt set in & went xmas shopping instead - it was too damn hot to do anything else anyway...
After dragging them up the hill, I dropped "My Nuts" into this cache. Could someone please come and grab "My Nuts" before they go all mildewy. (Travel Bug of course! What were you thinking?)
