As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

WP2 has been missing for over a year, and th eowner hasn't made any attempt to fix it. Can this one be archived so it doesn't keep showing in PQ's.

Dear Piggy Sue,

We found your cache today at 10:05am as the second of seventeen on our Green Hills and Rocky Shores tour of the South Gippsland. It had been seven months since our DNF on WP2 and the cache went offline and since we were passing by today and did not want to leave this one behind once more, we contacted Eric from Acts2 for the details from the missing WP2 and found the final cache which is still doing fine. Thanks for our 20th Piggy Sue cache.

Kind Regards,

D & S B-A

Started this one with older logs. Did this with Scooters Mob + IQ42. Got to waypoint & couldn't find canister. Got out the PDA and logged onto the Internet... doh! Read latest logs... walked all the way back... a little disappointed.... but vowing to complete this one once its live again.

Seems the film canister has gone missing again, so until I can revisit I will disable it

Dear PiggySue,

We followed the clues to the film canister location. There was only one spot that fitted the clue within 15m of these co-rds. After about 20 minutes we called Pprass who told us that this was the correct spot and when they found it, it was on the ground. We also searched this option but it was not there either and we believe that this WP is missing.

Regards,

Found at 2.45pm GAFF3 with a group of muggles that were interested in doing a walk on a windy day. There were 9 of us altogether, so we checked with the RA on certain aspects before departing to ensure that we weren't going to bore the crowd. We arrived at the first waypoint after taking a shortcut and looked all over the structure that both GPS's were directing us to, but could not find a cracker with 9 of us looking! We eventually looked at the hint and started looking in a spot that I had already checked with our son. After about 3 minutes with all of us searching with no luck, we were about to give up as we found a small nook which looked like a spot for the container, but was empty. It was then our daughter's turn to come to the rescue as she found the container lying on the ground nearby covered in bark. Must have been knocked out of it's hidey hole by the wind? We then decyphered the final puzzle after a false attempt and had the cache in hand soon after with a wallaby looking on. Thanks piggysue for a challenging cache and a good walk. Took: $2 for Stephanie (8yo). Left: 2 key rings.

Had no problem with the first set of figures and found the first waypoint with ease, but that’s where it got a little tricky for me as I would consider myself mathematically challenged, so I gave my good mate Dak a call who confirmed for me what I had found and noticed what I believe to be a mistake in the formula for the final GZ, Well I managed to take a stab at the figures as one answer would have taken me 37km away, on putting the figures in It was right on my track line from my short cut I had taken. Dak called me back just as I pulled the cache out. Despite the figure problems I really enjoyed this cache I spotted several wallabies on the way in, I loved the mangroves and on the way out I bumped in to a blur tongue. Thanks for taking me to this location it was a great spot. And thanks Dak for the assistance L.L.T.R.A
I picked up the Geo coin.

Muzza was excited to learn that this cache was back online and with a Philip Island trip in hand there was no holding us back.

At the first location we gathered the dates and did the calculations. We saw that the next location was a good distance off so we drive to within 500 metres of the location and walked the rest. A good scenic walk it was too! We saw crabs scutling down their burrows under the mangroves - a first for me.

At the second location we thought we knew where the container would be but need the hint to help. Only to find that I didn't search hard enough in of the the possible areas beforehand. From the clue in the container we narrowed down the possible locations and set off checking them. We came up trumps a the second location. TNLNSL.

Thanks Piggy Sue for the adventure and scenery.

There was a little bit of doubt as to whether this cache was back online again. It was listed as Not Available in both our PDA's, but I was pretty sure that it was available, so we gave it a go.

We gathered the initial answers, calculated the next waypoint and made our way out there. Our GPS's both pointed to a likely area, but after a couple of checks, we still couldn't find it. Alan-san checked a nearby possibility, but came up emptyhanded. After a bit more searching, we used the hint and found it.

We then ended up with three possible co-ords for GZ. We checked the first, even though we didn't think it likely. From there, we headed to the next which looked a lot more promising. Luckily, we had an easy find here. Thanks for an enjoyable cache and walk.

After buying lunch at San Remo, we headed off to Rhyll to enjoy it by the water then tackle the cache. Gathered the two dates, did the sums and plotted a likely spot for the second WP. Hunted around there for quite a while but, even with the clue, we weren't able to find the film canister. Maybe next time?

Found first co-ods without a problem but having trouble with clues.
Cant work out what to subtract the days and month from and the add the years is very cryptic as there are at least 4 sets on the plaque.
Will keep on trying to work it out though.
