Spent 15 minutes looking around GZ. Nothing here. Need maintenance.

04-Nov-16
Very disappointing not to find it. Beautiful spot. Don't think the coords are correct

04-Nov-16
Had a good look but no luck. Previous logs made it more confusing. Can CO check hints and hide ? Thanks anyway

#2095 2 of 2 today.
A return visit to this cache was much more successful today. The wind was blowing, but it was not cold. This is a surprisingly well hidden (micro) cache. I used lokipagan's coords this time around & they were good.

25-Apr-16
Quick find once I read though other people's logs which helped me lots! There are some nice views from up there which made it worth it. Tftc

08-Apr-16
Beautiful spot for a cache. Great view with lots of birds in the morning watching our every move! Am confused by hint because no rocks near where we found it. Anyway, TFTC!

15-Feb-16
I couldn't see any rock out of place. I even tried the coords suggested by the previous cacher but nothing, zip, zilch. Maybe just a case a TCB (temporary cache blindness). I may return.

30-Jan-16
We were planning on getting this one last weekend but the requirement to jump fences (with bikes) from that direction put us off. Found a better entrance point today and made short work of the hill. The rain had eased off but the views were still stormy. The cache took a while to locate, but looking back through previous logs helped. Finally located a micro at a reading of S35 11.032 E149 04.867 today - perhaps the storm clouds were interfering. Thanks AussiePuschaks Big Grin

13-Jan-16
Second time to come find this cache. As I rode up to GZ.. it was.. there..

That was a very quick find! TFTC!

03-Nov-15
Found with Trodectus. TFTC AussiePuschaks.

03-Nov-15
Found with Decrypter. We had to climb a few fences to get to this one as we'd parked close to some other caches. I wish we'd consulted the maps beforehand and driven to a different spot. Once at GZ we started looking and after some minutes we had CIH. TFTC

Out for a wander after work. I ended up here for a quick find. TFTC.

11-Oct-15
Found it relocated under tree

11-Oct-15
Finally spotted - it was not where it should be. TFTC

06-Sep-15
Searched, found a bag and ball under the pictured rocks Maybe muggles...

02-Aug-15
Walked around, read the logs, was not coming up with the goods

Found a bag with a golf ball and a lanyard.. might have been the cache? It looked old and battered, no container though.

31-Jul-15
A pleasant stroll up the hill for a quick find and a beautiful view. TFTC AussiePuschaks.

12-Jul-15
sooooooooooooo much poo in this field. cold weather made it a little difficult to open the container.

12-Jul-15
Takibi and I were in the area today specifically to undertake a particular errand....but then we got distracted caching and the errand never happened....ooops. We had a fun day anyway despite the cold. We parked at the Gold Creek shops and rugged up to make the wander. We then spent a lot of the wander up the hill side-stepping all the ewe-poo....my goodness there is a lot of it! Once at GZ I had to decided carefully how best to make the retreival but soon had the container in hand. If only it had been FULL! (Other finders will understand that once they get there....especially if it's a really cold day!)

09-Jul-15
Address maintenance log as cache found subsequently. Check on cache reveals all ok, albeit very frosty on those hills (more white than golden)

27-Apr-15
Couldn't find the it. I found the spot - just couldn't find the cache

26-Feb-15
Found on a quick after work cache. Parked nearby and walked to the summit and began the hunt. Originally I found a few possibles however after reading the description and logs a bit better I had an idea and widened my search, cache found almost immediately after Smile

So... Many... Things...

19-Dec-14
After a longer than necessary search for the Aussie Trivia multi AngelG27 and I thought we would grab one more before heading off for lunch. We spent a good half hour or more looking for this one before loosing our sense of humour and heading back towards the car. Then remarkably I looked somewhere without a rock in sight and found the cache about 6m from where the GPS kept sending me. A few meters away I spotted the rock which must have been moved. Put the rock back where it was meant to be so it should be a quick find for the next people. Fantastic views but watch out for those cow pats.

19-Dec-14
Found with Joeylovestreasure on a trip north to investigate caches for a mega tour out in this neck of the woods in 2016 and to keep my daily cache streak going Smile

JLT and I did this once after the nearby multi thinking it would be a quick find, but we were wrong! After the pleasant surprise of finding that the gate would open (and we did not need to leap gracefully over it), it was a long search at the GZ. JLT made the find after we decided to head back to the car as we were running out of patience and good humour. A surprisingly large cache which I guess would not fit under some of the rocks we were turning over! very glad to have this one ticked off the list - would not want to brave the cow pats and grass seeds again!

TFTC AussiePuschaks!

08-Dec-14
3rd find for today, nice to find a hill with an amazing view that I didn't know existed! Rode my bike to the bottom of the hill before making a quick trek up.

The hint is seriously helpful! There were lots of rocks I was checking but eventually found it after broadening my search area..... thanks. haha

Loved it....now to wash my hands Sad

27-Jul-14
I've been wanting to do this for some time, but never seem to have enough time to do it. Today on a great winters day, headed up the hill for a look. After finding an empty spot, I finally ignored the hint and looked elsewhere spotting the container.

Had to empty some sheep poo from inside the outer container (how did they manage that!), but found the inner one all OK.

Always love rocky hills, so went and explored afterwards.

Thanks

27-Jul-14
Grabbed on a brisk, windy walk around Harcourt Hill.

There was something clunky and brown in the cache (which was quite easy to spot). This turned out to be a bit of wood with poo squished all over it! There was also poo on some of the cache contents Sad

Great views!!! This is my third of the day, out with my GeoSchnauzers. They're unhappy with me again. I parked nearby, and we walked up towards GZ, and found a fence and a stile. On the other side of the stile was a sign that said "No dogs". Poor GeoSchnauzers! I tied them to the fence and proceeded to GZ and the views to their very loud disapproval. Bad luck, dogs!!! I was able to find the cache quickly, and looked at the views slowly. Thanks for this one. 623 total.

A nice quick find. TFTC.

14-Apr-14
introducing a friend to geocaching today...somehow the sheep were grazing right next to GZ today, so fun!! wasn't allowed to run off and catch one though Razz tftc

667 [390] Was in the area on other business so took the opportunity to stretch the legs. Windy day. Great views. Left a couple of small coins. Tks AussiePuschaks!

06-Oct-13
I found this geocache using the Geocaching Intro App. TFTC!

03-Oct-13
Grabbed this one, power of the north and Lonely gum whilst taking Koda the geodog for a walk. tftc AussiePuschaks.

10-Sep-13
This was our very 1st cache that we found with shonkylogic who introduced us to geocaching over 3 year
As we didn't have a geo name yet or where signed up as a member we didn't feel it was right to log this cache as found or as we didn't sign the log either
So I thought I should climb the hill fill in the log and sign this one off at last
TFTC

10-Sep-13
Quick visit to check that the cache has wintered ok and is appropriately covered. All fine.

31-Aug-13
Beautiful morning for a walk.

great container and more great views of northern Canberra, tftc AussiePuschaks

29-Jul-13
The sheep were nervous of my approach and ran. It's only a small climb to this cache, but the view is good. Unusual cache covering. TFTC.

28-Jul-13
love the container and the view! tftc

28-Jul-13
Chilled soup! TFTC

10-Jul-13
Really nice views. Running up the hill was probably not the best idea [:p]
Thanks Big Grin

10-Jul-13
TFTC great run up the hill.

26-Jun-13
finally took the time to get this one.

22-Jun-13
Another one crossed off my 'to catch littleredshoes' list... almost there!
What a view - can almost "...see Russia from my back yard", well not really (but then again, neither could Sarah Palin!). Thank-you for showing me this.

#629 -10:40; A quick walk from a nearby trig point. Was lucky picking the right street to park to get quickly to GZ. A pleasant walk after dropping the Geoteen at dancing and a cache on the way home. TFTC AussiePuschaks Smile

06-May-13
Spotted this one coming back online so we set off to climb another hill in the Belconnen/Gungalin area - and what views there were at the top. Great tip regarding consulting a map before setting off - we normally pick the wrong route but this time it was over the stile and a short stroll up the hill to the cache. Picked up the pathtags which we will log - unfortunately we forgot to bring one of ours to drop off. Thanks for bringing us to this great spot and for the cache AussiePuschaks. Smile

04-May-13
New cache container guaranteed to withstand the weather, with new surrounds to account for the change in size. Geocoin and pathtags placed inside. Happy travels.

01-Apr-13
Have a new container waiting to go in. Just need to get up to this area.

31-Mar-13
Really needs some TLC, we didn't have any bags or containers with us today to replace. But bag is ripped and container is gone.

31-Mar-13
This one had been in our sights for a while, today we had the time as we had a client in the street which had an access point. Quick climb up the hill, great views, was a little breezy up there today. TFTC

09-Mar-13
Love the view and after a walk up the hills, I feel good! Smile

08-Mar-13
Container is broken beyond repair, I'd advise coming out and switching to a new one. Smile

08-Mar-13
This was our second cache today after deciding to do a quick hunt after school pick up.

Wanted a little bush hunt (plus the eldest wanted a bigger cache for swaps) so located this one and drove up nearby before legging it in.

After some searching we found it and the boys were happy.
The container is broken however and we didn't have anything to fix it with.

TFTC.

15-Feb-13
I found at least 2 ways in - one off Curran and another from within the suburb. The one within the suburb is a lot easier walk - there's a stile (ladder over the fence) nearby. I walked in off Curran and out over the stile. The lid to the cache container needs to be replaced soon - the whole of one end is broken off completely and there are pieces now missing. I enjoyed the walk and the view.

14-Feb-13
I looked at a map as well as my GPS map that show Mack St as the way to get into the area where this cache is located. There is no Mack St BUT there is a narrow walkway between houses where Mack St is supposed to be. I'll go back tomorrow and try again.

03-Feb-13
I was looking for (and found Smile another cache nearby (near the highway) ... Decided I couldn't resist ducking up and looking 4 another and enjoying the view ... decided to hop the fence near the gate rather than walk down (up? - North Wink and back along inside the fence ... Good thing I didn't - wasn't any gate there anyway - there is a big high fence along that new road (but the pole at the end was handy to hang onto while hopping over the other fence to get out Wink
Found the cache quite easily, almost exactly where I started looking ... Took a cute looking cow, and left Tigger, also "visited" some TBs (didn't leave any there, as most of them have things they want to see/do that I can do, but have not done yet ... Not sure there would have been room for any of them anyway)
The lid is now very dead ... Some of the stuff in there was a bit wet.
The view was great ... Can't believe I had never got around to going up that hill before (then again ... I have needed 50 more hours in each day for a while now, so I guess that is why)
TFTC ... And all the fun I had taking weird photos of the view, and dead trees/logs/etc Smile

01-Jan-13
Wandered about for a while searching for this one. I took a potential replacement container, but it was too big. The lid on this one is crumbling. Note for the next cacher - the container is one of the smaller sistema containers. If you have a spare, please take it up there.

TFTC AussiePuschaks.

31-Dec-12
Really needs some TLC. The container is VERY brittle now, in fact one side of the lid disintegrated even when I was carefully opening it, leaving a bit of a hole. Also, it needs a new pen-it has run out and the pencil is really blunt. Otherwise it's a really good cache! Smile

31-Dec-12
Parked in the small stopping area just off Barton highway, then walked up along track parallel with fence. There's a gate to access the track, but it's behind the barbed wire topped fence-bit of a challenge to scale (there's probably another easier way in!Red Face), then went for the walk up the hill. Found the cache after a bit of a hunt. Swapped a beetle for a cow Wink lol. Great views-worth the walk up. Thank you!

08-Dec-12
Final cache found on a nice hot morning in Nicholls. The main entrance from the new road was closed off, so we had to find another parking place in Nicholls. After a nice walk from the trig, after a few minutes of searching, the cache was in hand. Nice view. The container needs a bit of TLC, as it's cracked. TNLN. TFTC AussiePuschaks!Smile

28-Oct-12
Found it. However some locals were not too impressed I was wandering through their domain. Had to run and jump a barbed wire fence ... Nice Sunday afternoon surprise Smile

28-Oct-12
Cache is brittle and cracked in 1 corner needs replacing

01-Oct-12
We decided to go long way and take geo dogs for walk stunning views we stopped to take it all in with a snuggle or two thank u awesome Smile

19-Sep-12
1237. A nice walk up the hill and a quick find although I had to dodge plenty of those organic land mines. TFTC.

09-Sep-12
The walk up here was a bit steeper than we'd expected, but never mind there's a cache at the top to see us through. The wind was coming up in the afternoon once we were up here so we admired the views only for a few minutes before heading back down. TFTC.

09-Sep-12
From warm to windy again! A rather quick find in a little hilltop of good spots. Debating if I should go and say hello to the trig i can see in the distance. TFTC.

02-Sep-12
Thank you - beautiful views

02-Sep-12

24-Apr-12
Found this one some time back but did not log. Nice crisp morning out with Dad, great view. TFTC

24-Apr-12
Been meaning to pick this one up for a while. Used my new Samsung Tablet to test its caching ability, nice easy find, TFTC

15-Apr-12
We enjoyed this cache, especially meeting "Zoey" a very friendly little black russian cat on our way up to the GZ. Zita suggested a direct assault, but Enzo said following the path would be the way to go. Turns out Zita was right, but she won't harp on about that, no chance. Enzo spotted the nicely hidden container, but it wasn't just the container in the hiding spot - a very large spider also lives in there, so beware cachers who hate or are terrified of spiders! Great view TNLNSL, TFTC!!! Smile

Wow the houses here are huge! We approached well finding the steps over the fence and made our way up the hill. An amazing night time view of the Canberra. Mr Stormcatcher found the cache in the first place he looked. TFTC

Hi all found it on a lazy sunday afternoon. Great views of Canberra and surrounding hills. My helper left a small finger puppet and took a frog.

Finally we both have recovered from the dreadful stomach flu past a few days since we arrived Canberra and today with this lovely sunny day it is great to do some caching...Mr Bushies2 went up there by himself and found it easily. Thanks AussiePuschaks.

Staying with some friends in Canberra and this was the closest. Our friends said they always wanted to come up here and now had an excuse. Also their first cache find - new players perhaps? Top spot with a top view, thanks very much for bringing us up here.

21-May-11
Wading thru waist deep grass to the top whilst collecting enough grass seeds on my socks to start a turf farm. Checked a LOT of rocks but only found a dead rabbit and a half eaten kookaburra.
I don't care that I didn't find the cache, because the 360° views were just spectacular!!
