As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Hadnt updated my GPS in ages so when i found this using the stored caches on my GPS i didnt realize it was out for maintenance. Non the less i found the container, lidless as per the other logs. Searched the ground floor to see if it was lying around. No such luck. Non the less i guess a find is a find?

Found this cache, very cleverly hidden ,after we nearly gave up looking. Thought we would have just one more look, and hey presto.... there it was. Log was very wet though. Thanks for the cache

Well this one confused me. Which side of the train line is it? Went to one side, damn I think it's on the other side, walked around to the other side, damn, it was on that side after all. Walked back around to the original side and found easily once I figured out roughly where it actually is.
TFTC.

Working at the ANSTO for a couple of days, this was my first find in Australia! Managed to get it on the second attempt with some colleagues after dinner at a nearby steakhouse. The first time, two days earlier, we were a bit off but after reading the logs and checking the attribute symbols back at the hotel, things became pretty obvious.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from Germany,

Second time lucky and with a few less people around wasn't long till I managed to find it.

walked from parking down the road, and ended up still 35M - I was on the wrong side of the tracks.
reparked right there - easy enough to find, though had to return 1 minute later fror the clue.

A very tricky little Cache. Once found it all made sense.
Had to check twice cause of muggles and weather.

Found it in the hour before sunset - such pretty colours and what a nice view. TFTC.
Only one other car up here today. We parked very close to the cache, a quick grab and we were doing the cache duties. Grabbed the clue we were after and were away.
Found @ 15:40 while saying with a friend in Sydney. Took him along to show him geocaching. He came close to finding this one but I put my hand on it as a follow check after he'd had a look. TFTC SL
This cach made me think outside the square - TFTC.
P.S. much needed help from Captain Bog.

Wow - my first cache. I did not know people could be so devious! Thanks heaps, it was fun.
A nice little hide, after a long walk up. Found with Ozjeeper on a hot 40+ degree C day in Sydney. TFTH TNLN
We lined up with Walenators for the start of the race and they jumped to an early lead by grabbing the container before us. Good coords made this an quick, easy find.
Thrid time lucky, 4pm. It seems the cache is further to the north than the co-ords say, much closer to the surveilance. Maybe that's just me. TFTC.
Managed to ignore the whingey Katey Bears long enough to find this cache. TNLN. Thanks for the cache.
Took a while, had to have lunch while we were looking, had been to see Jungle Book at Sutherland Ent.Centre. But a good find, thanks Katey Bears
Found 13:30. Went left side went right side than there was only one place left to look. And there it was. I had a good view of a passing coal train. TNLN Thanks.
Been meaning to find this one for ages now and finally today we got it. Won't be long until we head off to the finishing line now hopefully.
Thanks,

We sadly had the funeral of Mr red tags wonderful Dad at nearby Woronora Cemetery yesterday.
Today we made a last visit to him before our flight back to Tassie and to cheer ourselves up a little with thought we would find a cache on our way to the airport.
Thanks Drunken Gunmen for this one!, it was a good distraction from an emotional 2 days

The rail line was closed as the workers installed new power lines for the track. It provided some entertainment while I walked to the cache and logged then wrote in the log. Now I need to make the finish line.
Son found after a quick search. Neat little container. Looked around for the number for Wp2.. think we found it.. but not sure..
Ist find off the day before heading to Cronulla. The voucher told me about this little hike from Sutherland to Cronulla so I thought I would give it a try. Of course I didn't know it was going to get up to 36C. It's a good thing that there's lots of places to buy water along the way. Good camo. TFTC
A quick find. Thanks. Dad helped. SL I thought this was a clever hide as I had not seen one before
Nice quick find once we just looked instead of following the GPS. Nice hide.

I could have almost driven up to this one and leant out of the car to sign the log, but being a work day I assumed it would have been full to the top....but it wasn't! Nice views towards the city. SL, TFTC.
My first find after stepping off the train at Sutherland. Now for the geo-seeking hike to Cronulla where I'll catch the train back to my hotel in Sydney. Avoided the cameras...I think. TFTC!!
I got shown this place before I started geocaching myself. I was in the area and I needed to pick up the clue.
looked low one nite then went home and had a look at the clue wasnt to long b4 we were in the rite spot nice view of the city on a clear day
Over this way on another mission and thought we'd nab this one. Found easily and we did some repairs on it. Needs new log book but we have fixed the magnet on the base with locktite 401, (it's like a type of supaglue) hope this does the job. TFTC SL
I'm glad to record a find here - a similar hide has been causing me grief nearer home
Quick and easy find with Walw and his intrepid geokid Jeremy on our "Too wet to canyon but not too wet to geocache" day. 2nd of eight finds for the day. Walw made the find quickly and we made use of the cover in the car to sign an already damp log sheet. TFTC! Now, on to the halfway mark...
I'd had a DNF on this one previously, but no problems today, while out caching with Big Mick B and Jeremy. Not sure how I could have missed it before. Oh well, grabbed the clue, signed the log (via new piece of paper) and off to half way!
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache,
best wishes,
Wal

Found with Krafty Charlie. Needs maintenance as the log book is full and damp and the attaching mechanism is loose Unfortunatly I dropped the container down a few levels. but luckily I found it again in good order and replaced the container in its rightful position.
Team Beechmere's first find!!! M8 said it was cool!
The cache was nicely hidden, about 15m from where we started looking (those who have found it will understand). An easy find eventualy. The logsheet was totally damp, and we didn't dare to write anything on it. There was a small plastic spider, which we left alone and we didn't add anything.
The magnet is not securely attached to the case, and needs replacing/regluing, else the cache could end up 15m away next time the wind blows.....

Nice easy find, took the clue for the sutho to surf finish didn't sign the log as it was illegible, needs replacing also magnet needs regluing. TFTC
Quick find.. This was our final cache for the day, light was fading and the rain was falling.. Log book was wet and unable to sign.. TNLN
Thanks again
Thanks again
good spot nearly tricked us can't use log book anymore very wet and needs to be replaced thanks again
Log has taken a lot of water, but has dried, and seems full. I signed where I could.
Well, we had to take step back and think about this one. Interesting when ground zero is not ground zero. Took a few more steps and then had a very sodden cache in hand!!!!. The cache container needs maintenence as well because the "holding in position device" comes away from the cache container. We were unable to sign the log but got the clues for the finish line.

First cache of the day. Originally found myself on the wrong side of the tracks but then ventured to the other side. Looked in a couple of likely spots then phoned a friend for assistance. Was in the right spot, just perhaps not enough height! Cache quickly located and clue gathered.
TwilightMan Strikes again!
Also got the Sutho to surf clue EXCELENT!
May need new log book

Stood around for a while a bit stumped (even after looking at the clue) and then it became obvious where we needed to go. It was the weekend so no Muggles anywhere to be seen and we found the cache with relative ease.
I had read the logs of this cache and had decided to do the walk instead of the drive. I found the cache without any problems. When I opened the container I saw a plastic spider and thought that it was a funny joke but not that scary. As I was removing the log to sign it a real spider crawled out to say hello to my hand. With a quick wave it was gone and so was I. TFTC
Found at 6.15am the start of a very fruitfull day with some great 'cachers. It was dark but very handy considering the train. Thanks
Despite the departing commuters I managed to grab this one on a busy Friday evening.
Cheers.

Spent about 20 minutes looking for it on Monday and couldn't find it. Then on Wednesday I cam back after finishing the coastal track walk, from Otford to Bundeena. Walked from the train station to here and found it within a few seconds. Reading the clues does help.

Nice hide. I had great fun running up and down the stairs yelling echo, echo, echo. Thanks for the hunt Drunken Gunmen.
No body round here on a Sunday morning except the cameras so very little stealth was required with this one. We will return another day to finish off the next two parts. TFTC Drunken Gunmen.
the gun went off and we were away for the race .took awhile to work out , quite clever.
A quick read through the logs pointed out why we weren't having luck at the place we looked, and the cache was quickly in hand.
Almost forgot to grab the Finishing Line clue, but remembered before having started to return to the car.

[great start to the series] the idea of putting the caches on high points and roof tops was excellent
Number 3 of 4 for the day, searched low, searched high, eventually found it after losing satellite reception a few times.
thanks

We spent ages hunting at a different altitude, getting very frustrated at the lack of signal. Perhaps I've done too many Sydney city micros lately. The references to a race didn't help a non-local ( if they should ) Perhaps a comment about the quality of the signal at the cache would be helpful.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Drove straight up to this one. Sat. morning and the place was empty. No funny looks, could relax while logging the find. Coords spot on. TFTC.
Found at 11:15am on a quiet Sunday morning. This was on my way home from a morning bike ride to Toxic Butt Syndrome.

Doing this cache on a Public Holiday was a breeze, no muggles anywhere to be seen .....made it easy to disguise my final lunge for the cache
Nice container, TNLNSL....thanks for the interesting location (we don't have these areas back at home )

Having previously found "HALF WAY" and being footloose and fancy free with pseudo-geek for the night, we thought this cache find, some squirt and some Vietnamese food would be the perfect salve before and after the task at hand.
Off we both trekked talking of caching, surveying and security stuff only to find ourselves walking through a toilet to eventually see the magnificent night views that this cache had to offer at 19:50.
TNLNSL, wrote down clues. Many thanks Drunken Gunmen.

I set out from the "Flea Pit" with my colleague EuDes and we took a pleasant evening stroll to find this cache. Unfortunately we had to walk through what appeared to be toilet to get to it - we took another route on the way back! Great views. After a Vietnamese meal and some "squirt" we headed off back to the "Flea Pit" again. Thank you, Drunken Gunmen for providing another reason for us to get some exercise. When I'm back in town I'll try some of the others of yours.
