Out and about today on the weekend enjoying the weather and the cache hunting. I have been meaning to come to Christmas Hills area to finally get the TDOC23 final and some other solved puzzles around the area but it was either ordinary weather or I was too lazy (usually the later ).But today was perfect and after parking the car we headed off on our short hike. This puzzle totally confused me when I first saw it but years later on with a small hint from someone I managed to get a good looking set of numbers and today once arriving at GZ and spotting the obvious location, the cache was signed after having this on my to-do list for years. Thanks Rabbitto for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Very pleased to finally have a smiley to show on this cache. This was one that GT37 has had her eye on for some time. She does like to attempt to find as many old caches as she can. Thanks for placing the cache for all to enjoy.
The work needed had been done on this one, other that that necessary at GZ. I always like to find the older caches when I can so was very pleased to be able to add my name to the log and a smiley to the map. Thanks for the placement of this cache and maintaining it for so long.
Enjoyed the walk and made the find. I was lucky to be on board for this find.
On a caching adventure today with Sol de lune, feathertop and micaparamedic.
Thanks for placing the cache Rabbitto.

On a Sunday caching run with McLookers, feathertop and micaparamedic to grab a few caches.
We were in the area for something else and headed up for this one as well. Great time to be in the area and once at GZ the cache was a soon spotted...after the initial WT moment. Log was soon signed and we then heading back to the car to move on.
Thanks Rabbitto....now for a few more.

A bit late with my log but at least I can say I have found it. Of course, as with most puzzles for me, once I have solved them they are so obvious! This cache confused me several times but suddenly it just fell into place. Nice area for a walk. TFTC
The weather was good so I went for a drive to explore and found this solved puzzle. Fell down a few rabbit holes solving this puzzle but eventually got to the end with a nudge and collected the correct coords.
Thanks Rabbitto for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Well played Watson.
I certainly wasn't followed here as there does not seem to be anyone else around on this fine day.
Really enjoyed the puzzle and the walk into the cache.
Everything was sorted and the information was gathered as you requested.
It may be some time till we meet again.
Hopefully I will meet you at the next rendezvous point.
Most of all was the historical value here.
Love reading the logs from the long time cachers.

This puzzle took me a while to crack. I was so happy once I figured it out. Today I had the opportunity to pick it up.
Thankfully the hide was much easier than the puzzle. I loved the bush walk here and the views were great.
I dropped off a travel bug to begin its journey.
Thank you Rabbitto for placing and maintaining Sherlock Holmes. The Sign of Dash for us to find today.

Bit damp so we are spreading everything out to dry while we fight off the March flies.
Happy Valley and Beardsells Tracks are gated at both ends, it's walk or bike only.

Puzzle was solved by team effort a long long time ago. Here today for an AWG bushwalk and found the cache at 12:30pm before heading off to catch up with the group.

Find #1034
I decided after collecting the nearby dash puzzle that this would be the next in my sights. This was also solved during lockdown and added to my ‘must collect one day pile’. I am rarely in this area, so caching is a great excuse to enjoy the drive and the views. All is quiet, all is well with the cache here today and decoy firmly in place... lol. Just noticed that it’s hidden on April fools day... my birthday! Thanks for another great puzzle.
Edit: noticed that my new geostamp had the wrong date on it... I must need glasses! I did find it today, I did my digital log right after the find!

We solved the puzzle a few months ago but have done little walking in recent times. Stretched legs yesterday, coming up from the south in a great 8km loop. Found the decoy quickly, but took quite a bit of additional wandering to eventually locate the actual cache. TFTC.
A very confusing puzzle for me which proved in the end that I am not a Sherlock Holmes. Lots of help even with the clue provided was needed to get a feasible set of numbers.
Managed to park nearby and walked in to find the decoy first and then the one that was wanted later. Name is now securely in the log book. A nice area to walk around in here.

I worked through this puzzle, steadily revealing all the red herrings. And from what was left, I could identify the symbols that held the key information, but I just couldn't crack it... until I ran my eyes over the hints.
Doh! I'd gotten soooo close!
Still, it'd been a fun struggle.
But then I lost ALL my geocaching data a few days later, including this solution. I was devastated. And it's taken me over a year to revisit this and extract a GZ location again.
A nearby FTF had brought me to the area, and so it seemed time to put this old friend to bed.
By the time I'd parked the WelderMobile on site, it was deep dark evening, with just enough fading twilight to make my way without a torch.
Even in the gloom, the lay of the land indicated a natural GZ location. So I journeyed from the car without the aid of my GPS.
At my assumed GZ, I flicked on my torch and found what I was looking for in the second place I searched.
* Note: I never profess to possessing natural geo-sense, so this was a very rare feat for me, lol.
Once I'd performed the necessary duties, I had a very enjoyable torchless stroll back to the car in the now dark of night. As I love to do, I let my eyes adjust to the faint glow of the cloudy sky, backlit by a shrouded half moon. It was just enough.
Thank you for the awesome puzzle and peaceful adventure, Rabbitoh. They are always worth taking the time and effort.

While enjoying caching today with DAB, we were fortunate to pick up some solved puzzles, multi's and traditionals, highlighting the Yarra Glen area. This was a fun puzzle to solve once you understood the method leading to a clear and precise set of coordinates. We found the starting point of our walk very easily and left the car safely while heading for our goal. The decoy was spotted immediately and then the cache not long afterwards.
Thanks Rabbitto for the Dash Mystery and bringing us to this unexplored area.

After completing a nearby series, we continued on finding hides in this beautiful area. With a few solved puzzles to collect, we also grabbed a collection of multis and trads. Thanks to all of the CO's for your efforts in placing these caches. Such a picturesque area to be caching, a very enjoyable day and night indeed. After donning our deerstalker hats, we were able to solve the mystery.TFTC Rabbitto
This puzzle was a bit too tricky for my tiny mind! I came up with a few coordinates but they were the false ones. On the way to the cache, BendSinister explained the method to solving this, oh now it makes sense!
It was quite strenuous on the way to GZ, then once again we split up - I was still searching while BS found the decoy, then the cache! I think I'm just there to look pretty : )
Thanks Rabbitto

I was pleased to be able to extract coordinates from these two Sherlock Holmes puzzles quite quickly a matter of hours before jimbo_80 and had decided to visit the broader vicinity. While it started as a bit of a speculative "what else might be interesting to pick up?" exercise, these are satisfying puzzles and treks-to-caches in their own right. Retrieving this one in particular involved quite a lot of sweating on my behalf. While looking at maps at home I wondered whether the 'significant hike' attribute was really likely to be warranted, but it certainly seemed appropriate once we were finally there, gazing upon the cache. Though admittedly we took a slightly silly route.
My first thought at GZ was that treasure had been plundered, having found only broken glass at my phone's best estimate of the coordinates. But all was well, just a little further away. Thanks once more Rabbitto! This reminds me that I really should have a proper look at your remaining puzzles in the south east suburbs.

Catching up on a couple of late, forgotten caches. Found this one today with Snap Happy and omegaman1971 while they were out caching in my hood. Sincere apologies for the delay. Thanks Rabbitto for the puzzle and hide.

I had this in my GSAK for awhile. Certainly required some assistance in solving this one and indeed the series. It was good to be over 'this side' and finally 'check it off'. At least the walk to GZ was easier with this one...

After another section of the now infamous Yarra Expedition, n0w0rries, Jacko83 and myself headed out to pick up this nicely hidden cache. This has been sitting in my solved pile for quite some time, so I was glad to finally convert to a smiley.

Like a typical stat chaser, I needed this dt for my 9th loop. Good thing it's a cool puzzle and beautiful bush walk!
Having solved this with hints from others, I was in the area today collecting caches after a paddle of the Yarra's rapids. Myself, Ozhockeychick and N0worries follow the roads here, three times ending up on private property (maps fault!).
Once in the area I was still searching while NW found the decoy then the cache.
A nice little bushwalk and tricky little maze to drive here.
Cheers and thanks rabbito!

Found, with Jacko83 and OzHockeyChick - after completing the Yarra Expedition Part 6 (Triathlon)
An interesting journey indeed. That google bloke gets a tad confused as to which roads are public and which are driveways. We finally found our way in to the trail head. A pleasant stroll is just what was needed to stretch the cramping legs. At least here no rivers had to be swum across. Located the decoy and spread out, located the cache and all made our mark.
Thanks for the fun puzzle and the well hidden cache Rabbitto.

Solved this one a few months back and took the family for a drive to find it, but it was nowhere to be found. Thought I must have solved the puzzle wrong, but a quick check with the owner said that I was correct. Another check of my counting skills however showed that I can't count letters in words properly, and that I was about 2km directly north of where I needed to be looking (just happened to be right next to a road though).
So, off we went again today and drove up the road to get about 150m away from it, a lot easier than taking the track. A quick search took us straight to the decoy, but then finding the actual cache proved difficult as we looked around for a bit. Even found a very obvious spot with some rocks and bark piled up, only to realise it was someone's old toilet stop. Yuck!
Finally figured out what was going on, and the cache was found. Great surprise and will be sure to do the next puzzle. Note that there's no photocopied versions of it in the cache, but I think everyone would have a camera on their phones nowadays so no big deal.
Excellent puzzle, I still have no idea what Arrow 2 is supposed to tell me, but once you get the main idea you can work out which lines to look at just by process of elimination. TFTC.

I still haven't managed to solve this puzzle despite the hints, but I somehow managed to extract a feasible solution from the cache page.
My first attempt at GZ didn't end well, but today I returned a little more prepared. And bingo! Success at last. How did I miss that 2 weeks ago ?
Thanks, Rabbitto.

I really struggled to solve this puzzle, and even with the hints I made no progress. Then I realized that I could use the hints to solve the puzzle in reverse, and indeed I ended up with a feasible set of co-ordinates. So exactly one year after the last find it was off to GZ from Geelong, where I was quite happy to find the 'cache'. Except that it wasn't it. So I increased my search radius, and by the time I was at about 30m, I almost stood on the one of the largest snakes I've ever seen, a copperhead. It was a very close encounter, and for a moment I thought I had been hit. And despite the relatively low ground cover I couldn't see where it had slithered off to. What now?
I found the cache, but I didn't really find the logbook. I saw the snake, but then I couldn't really see it anymore. To prolong a now disappointing and frustrating search with a snake lurking nearby, or to go off to a nearby winery for more relaxing pursuits? The winery won . So I went off running into the hills. Or was that down the hill...
TFTH, Rabbitto - I'll be back.

Woohoo some unloved months for me, I am now very close to completing an unloved challenge cache. After last time lugging my bike up the hill from the opposite direction to only find myself with wrong coords, a check with CO had my coords a little bit better tonight. This time I walked in from the road and it was a pleasant walk in the setting sun, splintering dark orange light through the trees. Once at GZ , a decoy had me scratching my head for a minute until the cache was found. This was one if the first puzzles I solved when I began caching in Dec 2013, I think I got some hints from the CO at the time, thanks for the puzzle ,the cache and the location
Solved the puzzles years ago after quite a long effort. Today I was giving MMelb a driving lesson and decided to drive out this way. We parked the car at the gate and walked up the hill. I was expecting a surprise and was not disappointed. Thanks Rabbitto

A nice evening for caching and this was one I collected tonight with my caching buddy Rebel Acts. Great puzzle and walk. Thanks.
I've been meaning to get to this unloved cache for months now and at last i made it. The puzzle was great thank you, i did need to look at the hint though. Wish I could crack the dots an dashes cache
Cache is in good order although the last finders could have took a little more care when replacing the cache and decoy. All is in place for the next luck finder.

Had an afternoon of caching with essieg, RCFM, lobster6 7, and danozz. After an initial run that took us through Mooroolbark, Lilydale and Yarra Glen (where we chanced upon Trailrunning doing muggle duties) we headed to Christmas Hills. Danozz had solved this earlier and reading the hints I am surprised that I had already solved it myself. Surprising to find an unloved cache today, a bit of a bonus.
Hmm I said in my other log that I was making OK progress through your list of hidden puzzles. I've just looked at the list and The 13th Cache! stands out as being an impressive puzzle that I'm yet to attempt. I'll have to head out east one day and try to find my way through the whole lot. Not sure if I can keep on target without getting distracted by so many easy caches along the way, I may have to break the journey up.
Sorry I am getting distracted, this puzzle was made clear as day by the obvious clues, once solved it made a great place to warm up for our walk down the Xmas Hills. Some of the kids retreated as Jimmy, Essie and Bonnie powered on up to the cache. Jim took note of the unloved days while I enjoyed the pleasant bush landscape.

Tonight I decided to take a break from work for a few hours and head to the Happy Valley to find the series of caches hidden in the area there. With some trads and some puzzle cache finals to collect, I was prepared to do some walking. The night was mild and perfect for caching. I managed to stay ahead of some storm fronts that eventually passed south of the area, otherwise it may have been a long wet night.
The walk from the first to last cache was really enjoyable and turned out to be not as hard as I thought it would be. Plenty of wild life was spotted during the night with a plethora of kangaroos and a couple of tank like wombats spotted along the journey.
With the mystery letter solved it was off to find the cache and assist Watson in his venture. At GZ I quickly located a cache but it was not the one I needed. I soon located the real cache and discovered not only the logbook inside but something else from dear Watson. I sat and pondered this new information before making the long trek back to my car.
A great puzzle and I hope to be able to assist Watson further.
Thanks Rabbitto.

Find # 1851
Well, it is a fine winters morning and again time for my caching partner in crime sedgwickDave and I to head out on another caching run, headed towards St Andrews, Hurstbridge and the Nutfield area. We usually cache on a Saturday, but decided to change it up a bit and do a Sunday this time.
I had worked on this one some time ago, with no luck, I was just lucky I had my puzzle solving genius with me today and thanks to sedgwickDave, we had the final co ords. we managed to find the decoy cache, then very soon after another quick search, we found it.
Thanks to Rabbitto for the cache and for the clever puzzle. TNLN.

When I first looked at this puzzle a few months ago, I had no idea, but after working through it, its not as hard as it first seems. When I found the cache I was a bit confused at first, but all was revealed. Thanks Rabbitto, still stuck on the other one in the series near by, any clue, might help. The contents were wet but the log is dry, I removed some stuff that was stopping the lid from closing, its all wet anywho. Left TB, after drying out the container. Was a good one to do at night, found at 9:00 pm. Added favorite, because I solved the puzzle, and I like this track, its a good walk.
Got it at last! Confusing puzzle yet not as confusing as theother one in the dam... Pleasant enough walk up a hill this afternoon lead me to more confusion, and more walking around, until I found it! Which lead to more confusion. But that's a problem for another day! Guess there aren't a whole lot of visitors to this one, which always gives a good feeling signing those logs. All is in good condition.

This is one of the puzzles I solved trying to get a better understanding for Rabbitto puzzles (what I really wanted at the time was to find The DJ). Well, it didn't give me much hope! Without the final hint I would still be left in the dark. Very tricky cryptic map.
Couldn't find Doctor Watson today, and can't blame him as there were loads of vicious blood-hungry creatures out there today.
But found the cache after a little head-scratching.
Thanks for yet another tricky mystery.

A great walk up to the cache in an area that I'd always meant to hike but had never gotten around to. This is a beautiful area that was lucky to escape the fires. Standing at GZ I was able to see other areas that had been affected by the fires. It's been awhile now but still these areas will take much longer to recover.
A quick find was made and then after some heart palpitations I was signing the log. Then, a nice rest on a log and a cuppa with lunch before we made the final descent.
Took: N. Left: Butterfly pathtag.
Cheers Rabbitto, thanks for getting me out and about in the great outdoors today. Oh, and thanks for the series.

This was a brilliant cache series, solved this in the territory a few weeks back after a little help. I have been eyeing these off for about a year but before moving to the territory i had a mind fogged by traditionals. Now on my return to the area finally getting the motivation it was very much worth the effort.
Thanks for these great caches!

Well, today at 3.01 Oenze and I, at last, could seek out the Sherlock Holmes caches. We had a great day out, enjoying the countryside. We had worked on these caches some weeks back so it was good to be able to get out and find them. I really like this sort of Puzzle, Rabbitto, so thankyou for the puzzles and thankyou for the excursion ... it's 12 months since I was last in the area. I'll look forward to more. TNLN [^]
Find # 2309 and 9th of the day at3:01pm Accompanied by Tahmara for a day out caching. Tahmara and I had a few days of fun on messenger together trying to solve this cache, nice walk to GZ, TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Rabbitto....
I worked this one out a week or so ago and today took the opportunity to grab it while caching nearby. There was only the laminted clue sheet in the cache so I may have to get you to email me one Rabbitoh before I continue in this series. For now the remainder of these caches can stay in the reservoir. Thanks Rabbitto. Took turtle and left stapler.
Located this cache with our caching mentors cdmark.
Although Mrs Vouyeur found the walk made her a little short of breathe, we all took in a warm drink in the outdoors away from suburbia. Ah the serenity.
A good decision in the way back down saw cdmark clear the road of wallabys in the more articulated vehicle than ours. If my boss reads this - with regard to the company's motor vehicle policy - I was sure the road was sealed.
Our furthest venture from home on our introductory weekend to geocaching. TFTC - TNLN.
Maybe we can tackle the remaining clues shortly.

Fifth find of the day with our friends that have now been introduced to the somewhat addictive world of geocaching. We managed to work out most of the coordinates with some assistance from a few clues and headed off to where we thought the cache was. A nice drive and then walk on a Sunday afternoon. Cache soon in hand an a nice warm cuppa at GZ. Thanks Rabbitto and we look forward to tackling the others when we are down this way again. Cheers.

With the fog set in around lunchtime today,i set off on the steep climb to GZ.A few roos bounded off near gz ,but the cache was soon in hands after the brief search.Another well planned cache and pleasant final hide region. Thanks to Rabbitto.TNLN.
I freely admit to having used the clues for all they were worth! Despite them not quite giving me a proper answer, I went with the next best thing that did give me a result, and x'd my fingers. Fortunately I was correct and even a last little effort from Rabittoh failed to keep me from the cache. A lovelly drive to and from the area too. Thanks Rabittoh for the challenge. Note: there is only one clue sheet left in the cache save for the permanent, waterproofed one. Future seekers may like to take paper and pen until such time as the owner is able to replenish.
Wow - very impressive and equally difficult puzzle! I was able to solve it ok as the hints were very helpful, but I think I would struggle otherwise. The drive to the cache location was very beautiful on this fresh Autumn morning, I enjoyed the views and the natural sounds of the environment. I grabbed the next clues and set about trying to work the next one out!
Thanks,

With some of the greatest minds in the country (and us ) working on this, we couldn't miss. (Actually, we read the hint and worked it out from there .) EuDes herself was with her cousins so this gave me the chance to try for a very specific caching run. This was first on the list and I soon found the sneaky hide at 14:35.
TNLNSL. Thanks Rabbitto.

Had in mind to look for this last year, but forgot until today when discussing puzzles with EuDes. He had obviously been thinking about this problem for a while but our discussion quickly cracked the code. That evening, since Mrs L was having dinner in town, I took a quick drive to confirm that the coords were correct. A very interesting find indeed so took the clue sheet for the next SH cache and dropped in a funny little blue thing from a Xmas bonbon.
Very satisfing cache to find - especially seeings we weren't tempted to look at the clues. Luck Dog did well over stunning terain. Onto the next...

Well I must admit I had to use the hints extensively. Even then, I couldn't see which lines I was being directed to, so had to use trial and error. Worked out a couple of likely places and mapped them - only one made sense, so I headed up there with wife and dog in tow! Found after a 5 min search. Now to try to work out the other puzzle! Thanks Rabbitto.
This cache has been on our to-do list since the Dash for cache competition. Over the months we would look at the puzzle and then put it on the back burner for more urgent caching requirements. About two weeks ago Shelby finally cracked the code (on the original sheet) and plotted its location. The decision today was to attempt this cache and hopefully any others in the series.
We arrived at the cache location and after a short hobble walk we zoned in on the GZ. We found the decoy cache and it took a few more nervous minutes before we found the real McCoy.
With new puzzle in hand we knew we had a chance (yes I know this type) on the next if only we could work out ......?. Oh well onto the next.
Many thanks Rabbitto for the cache, yes it has taken time, but it has been a challenge worth solving.

I've been getting a bit tired of suburban caches lately and, as I've had the coords for this one since the final hints were given in the GCA forums way back whenever, I thought I'd head out and snag it and the few others in the area today. After finishing off another one nearby (which I'd started 10 months ago!) I headed up the narrow track to this one and, following a short walk, located a container in the 1st place I looked. It really sucked me in - I'd even taken a photo of the card for later analysis before the penny dropped and I searched a bit further to locate the real cache (bloody Rabbits [:(!]).
A quick perusal of the puzzle indicated that the solution was not in my planned direction today (and I had made a late start), so I didn't attempt to solve it in the field (I did solve it last night however, and discovered even more Rabbitto misdirection which fortunately has not cost me a wasted trip [:(!]).

Found 14:00, a nice easy find after a pleasant stroll. As we sat trying to digest the recently acquired clues Caught@Work arrived, found the cache and returned to join us in our pondering [xx(] With theories flying thick and fast C@W soon struck upon one that yielded some promising results for the next step in this adventure.

Well, it's taken me nearly a year to get here, but here I am.
You know the funny thing is that I wasn't heading for this cache on my radar today, but when I looked at the time and saw this one close I thought why not.
Turns out to be quite fortuitous as when I pulled up to the closest entry point, there was a 4WD cache mobile sitting there.
Whee! I love it when, out of the blue, with no plans, you encounter another cacher so far from home.
It turned out to be Biggles Bear who were still working the puzzle.
So off I went to find the cache (you tricky little Rabbitto you) and gather the clues for the next part of this diabolical (oops, wrong cache) series.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks Rabbitto. A great location nd one that I was glad to be at as I thought it was all downhill, but I was mistaken. Woohoo! an I make sense of the puzzle now? Hmmm, only time will tell.

Found this morning. The road in was a bit slippery, the walk quite easy, interesting area. A bit of a shock at first then calmed down a bit when we found the proper cache. Took puzzle sheet which didn't appear as bad as the one I already have. No real need to work it out but it may help me begin to understand the crazy mind of the Rabbitto (if that's at all possible). No swap, thanks Rabbitto, I think!!
Found with Nutcache and geofreak. The geolancer made it up the hill ok and we thought we were in for a long look, until Nutcache had a dive for the treasure!! TNLN but thanks anyway!

Once all the clues were out, GZ was locked in, and I was tempted to make an overnight attempt to find the cache. However, I decided against it and found it today in the company of Dak's Emu Mob and Acts2YouthGroup. I must admit I had little idea on this puzzle until all the clues were out. Now I can sleep easy tonight. Thanks Rabbitto.

I have not been an active competitor this year, because I haven't been around. However, I have been watching this cache steadfastly resist any sort of log for six weeks. I had spent some time on the letter over the last week, and had actually found a couple of sets of coordinates! However, I knew that there had to be more to it than that; better cachers than me must have seen and rejected this erroneous information. (We all still remember "The 13th Cache"!)
I met muzza this morning to finish off the Chookies cache, and he told me that various hints had been released on the Australian Forum (I no longer visit the Forum, so I was unaware of this information). The final hints exposed the secret. With this information in hand, I was able to calculate the coordinates. Muzza, acts2youthgroup and I set off. We found the faux cache first (once again, visions of "The 13th Cache" floated before my eyes); then we found the real one. I made no exchange, just signed the log and retrieved the next puzzle. We spent a bit of time on it, then muzza unlocked its secret. Off to "The Valley"!
This puzzle was a particularly difficult (and clever) one! I can't imagine anyone cracking it without the hints. However, acts2youthgroup had actually worked out the significance of the 12-grained wheat, so who knows? It certainly created a lot of angst for the competitors (and others). Thankfully, the cache was an easy find. Thanks Rabbitto for putting us out of our misery, and congratulations on winning the DASH.

Found what I thought was the final coordinates last night but was in no hurry and came out first thing in the morning. Turned up at what I thought was the final coordinates but no luck, so retired to a nearby market to drink chai tea and ponder the problem. Returned a little later and looked a little more closely and bingo there it is! Now to solve the next puzzle. Thanks for the frustrating problem rabbito! TNLN
Got a call from Team Crackers about 8.30pm last night to tell me that the final clues were out. That was very kind of them, but as I was sitting at a dinner table at the Victorian Fashion Awards I was not goint to be able to do much with that information. It actually distracted me for the rest of the evening from watching the stunning girls...I mean clothes being paraded! This morning I got an early start and armed with all of the information that I needed, I got to GZ and found the cache at 9.30am. I actually walked straight past it at first and thought that that spot would be a good hide, but the GPSr was directing me another 18 mteres on. Got back to the wagon to start on the allegedly "easy" puzzle (according to the Rabbit)when the maacamob's turned up eager to get their hands on the clue as well. Took: Winnie the Pooh stickers, Left: Bandages
Thanks Rabbito, but without the final clue last night, I don;t think I would ever have found this cache.
ps - We were the third to find after Team Crackers and Chookies.

Found by Mary and David at 0950. After weeks of staring at apples and ears of wheat, at last the key is revealed. Too tired to head out immediately, so we made an early (for us) start this morning. Arrived at the car park to find pprass emerging from the track with the next puzzle. We set off and soon found the cache and had our own copy of the puzzle. Took kangaroo, left tortoise. Back at the car park, pprass was still there so we pooled our ideas and, after a while, came up with the solution. On our way to the next cache, we learned thar Team Crackers were also on their way there. Our thanks to Rabbitto for an amazingly frustrating and original puzzle that had us thinking of little else for weeks. Brilliant.
while doing another dash cache, was informed that the final clues were out, was soon provided the clues and the clue was soon unraveled, I cant believe how close I had come in the last couple of days to solving this. Cache was found in the company of some great Blokes. Thanks Rabbito no more dreaming of numbers and apples this one really had me thinking while awake and Asleep.
Ahhh! The clues that we have all been waiting for. Like most people in this event we were decided to see some clues that meant something. Not long after the post we had the coordinates in hand but because of visitors we were unable to take off straight away. Speaking to the Rooster from Chookies about his impending onslaught on our dash cache we discovered he was also keen to try tonight. So we decided to go in one vehicle to save fuel. We enjoyed the views leading up to this cache even if it was dark. The cache was in hand at 1:00am. Now to start working on the next puzzle. See Log for The Valley of Dash for further details.

After Many Many hours spent trying to crack this puzzle without success, the clues finally came up on the "Hint page" tonight. I had wondered why there was need for a hint page/thread, & now I know. How we were supposed to work that out prior to the last set of clues being given was beyond me . Anyhow, given that the dash cache places were still up for grabs, and given that the sneaky bunny didn't inform us of already completing all his required caches, I joined forces with team crackers (who had also worked out the co-ordinates to waypoint 1), for a midnight assault on this frustrating cache.
Not long after arriving at a place which looked to have been worth visiting in the daylight for the view alone, we strolled along an easy path to near GZ. Over we went, and I was very pleased to retrieve a cache. This silly Rooster was easily fooled by the decoy however, and team crackers came up with the genuine article within a few seconds more. Well done team crackers.
Nothing exchanged, we extracted the next puzzle, spent the next couple of hours in the dark (in more ways than one )trying to work it out without any hints (we did not want to wake up the warren at 3am), and after much study & searching, decided to head home. Finally in the door at just after 4am, it had been a very long previous day, & although very tiring it was great enjoying the company of team crackers. Finally, this 1st of 3 caches is put to rest. I fear the next two may be waiting a long while .
Thanks rabbitto.
