Well, its about time this one was archived... it's a shame to see that a TB got lost at the event... I hope it shows up somewhere else someday.
who has the kitten3 travel bug? it's goal is to get to italy.. my mum is leaving to see my rels in the UK and they are going to visit italy while there. My 12yr old cousins are geocachers and i'd love to send it over with mum for em! send me a message if you've got it so we can exchange!
Edit: picked him up in QLD Geopic cache 3 yesterday.

I'll leave this temporarily disabled for a while before I close it. Hopefully we can get all these travel bugs out of here before then because I can guarantee that they all found a home with someone by the end of the day.
Great day! Kids especially enjoyed the Pirates Treasure Hunt. Even though we didn't get many points I'm happy with a straight in the poker game. Thanks The Garner Family.
There are still a lot of travel bugs in this event. If you took a bug at the event, please log it out of here into your possession. If you think it was put into the cache hidden on the day, please log it into that.
An excellent event, well done to The Garner Family.
I had a lot of fun chasing the other teams in the GeoPoker and was very happy with the resulting ‘four of a kind’
Somehow I didn’t think the ‘Fit’ challenge would be that hard...I felt the after effects the next day
It was great to meet everyone again, some old, some new
The pirate pictures were a real laugh, incidentally, where did my picture go?!?! I think Paul from the Four Bears has something to do with that...
Thank you to GroundSpeak for my 3rd place (601 points) prize, a years premium membership.
I look forward to seeing you all again at the next picnic, may it be a non-car event

Thanks Garners for a great day. It was good fun and well organised. We will all need an early night tonight.
A number of people commented to us that we were mad driving all the way down from Rocky. But the thing is if we didn't we would have missed out on a awesome day. Thanks Garners it was well worth the drive.

Thanks very much for all the hard effort put into making this a fantastic day out. We had a great day, and it was good to meet up with everyone again.
Thanks again to both of you.

Great day out. Thanks to the Garners for organising a fantastic picnic.
Hope the kids don't have nightmares over the pirate photos (especially the one of Lt Sniper - I think that might give ME nightmares tonight ).

Had a great time. The boys enjoyed the games. Especially finding out that Pop was a pirate. Exhausting run to the final find. Thanks Garners for a well run event.
Another great event from the QLD caching community!

We all had a great time and it was good to put faces to names (although I don't think we even came close to actually meeting everyone).
Thanks to the Garner family for all the effort and hard work put into organising the day.

We should have checked our horoscope before heading out today.
It must have read "the heavens are not in your favour, searching for the hidden meanings will do you no good, in fact you should just stay at home under a blanket and drink warm soup".
We were absolutely hopeless today in terms of cache finding. But there was one high point for us - this is our 200th cache!
Thanks to Garner Family for a picnic with the lot - we can't imagine the amount of time and effort that went into the organisation of all the activities. Excellent effort, and heaps of fun even if we were the Duffers rather than the Dohertys today.
Great to put more faces to more names, and to catch up with those we have met before.
See you at the next one. (Though who is going to be game to put their hand up to host it now? The benchmark has been set very high indeed!)
Cheers from the Dohertys

Well it looks like we missed a good day. But the Geoforce 5 clan will definitley be there for the next one. Well done Garner Family for organising what appears to have been a great event.
Fantastic Day!
Well done to the Garner Family, ALOT of work went into this event.
Cheers Jason & Marlyn
TB Rabbit (Chasing Hedgehog) found a new master today

Thanks to TGF for organising such a great event....even though they must have timed it with the worst satellite reception all year
Looking forward to attending more of these events (hint, hint anyone )
PS never get Lt Sniper and TGF to dig holes, their fingernails might just get dirty.

I've posted some information on the Geocaching Australia forums regarding the prizes that sponsors have donated that will be up for grabs on the day. Take a look at http://forum.geocaching.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=2996 for more information.
Team Manta won't be able to attend. With two other events that day we're already stretched - a milestone birthday for my mother plus the annual Quarantine vs Customs vs Customs Brokers Cricket Carnival. Now if only I can convince Mum to be Twelfth Man we'll save a lot of running around....
Unable to make it to this one. Hope to see you all at the Spring Picnic. Andrew and Maryan
Crew 153 and The Fumblers will be buddying up as "The Fumbling Crew" Look out for an awesome alliance.
I'm back from Sydney and should be able to attend
If anyone has any Travel Bugs they would like taken over to the US then bring them along.

I shall try to make this one too, as long as there is no running races involved this time!
We'll be there, but depending on the start time, we may be attending in two parties.
That weekend clashes with the ARC Rally Queensland. I'm part of the 'Recovery' crew so I won't be able to attend. With that said, Mel & the girls should be going along with the other 'Caching' members of the Michels Clan (RONG & Subzeroracing). Keep us posted.
Cheers for now. ... Geoff ...
