Thanks to everyone who came out. We had a great time and hope everyone else did too.
I have done up a CD with the pics on, if you attended and would like a copy, then please send me an email with your address on, and I will get one sent/delivered to you. The thumbnails for these pics are on this link:

We had a great weekend. Although very dry and dusty. It was good to put some faces to the names. Looking forward to the next one. I have my CD on order. Thanks Jerry and Jenny for a great weekend.
Just remember, channel 27, not 29.

The 2nd annual 4WD Bush Bash began yesterday w/ another great turnout. We met the group at Gantry and set out for a great day of challenging verticals and dry dusty tracks that turned out to be great fun for all. Sorry we couldnt stay the night, but thanls so much Jerry for putting together yet another terrific event and planning such an exciting route. cant wait to see the pics.
Even though we only made it on one day (and only just, having misread the page and missing the meeting point) we had a great time.
Great to catch up with old friends and make some new ones.
Looking forward to the next one already.
Thanks Jerry & Jenny for organising this one.

There are some passenger places available if anyone with 2WD wishes to come out for the weekend (you will NOT require a permit).
The campsite is booked, we have four sites booked in a secluded area so there is plenty of space for everyone, and very near to the toilet and shower facilities.
Sunday will now NOT be a navigational exercise, but instead will be another led trip, as the condition of some of the tracks is very dry and broken up, I don't want to send people off on their own for this.
Hope to see you all on Friday or Saturday next week. Please ask at reception for the "Dupree" group, payment to be made at checkin.

Sadly, The Garner Family will not be able to make it to this one... but we expect to see lots of photos and hear lots of stories from the attendees.
Please see the new description above for more details of the campsite and trip details.
The site will accomodate camper trailers or caravans, although those with them should arrive before 10:00 Saturday to be able to do the Saturday morning drive. The drive will leave the campsite at 10:00 and depart the Gantry area at 11:00 on Saturday.

We haven't participated in a picnic yet but are very interested in attending. Do you know where the camp is and if the camp site will take camper trailers? We are fairly local to the area and have been through Mt Mee several times. Would be good to find new places to go. 2 adult and 2 kids. Should be there on Friday night as well. Could accomodate 2 adults comfortably in the Prado if places needed.

Family of 4. If there's provisions for camper vans, please allow 1 for us. Definitely Saturday night, 90% sure for Friday. Will have to see how work goes.

All 4 of us will be there. By the way for those of you havn't noticed you'l see I'm in the process of migrating to a new username.
I am trying to nail down the campsite bookings, so could all interested parties, please contact me as soon as you are able to state number in your party please?
This is so that I can get the most suitable site for us as a group. Unfortunately the new owners of the site have changed the pricing structure and made it very complicated, so any of your help would be appreciated.
Jerry.

Please note, you will NOT need a permit for the camping, only those driving on the trips out will need the permits.
Would love to go, but it is a month to early We are coming up for holidays and are camping at Savages Crossing fernvale (used to live in Lowood) I will add this cache to my watch list to see what is going on. Good luck all !!!
I'd love to attend but it's a little far out as yet to know if that will be possible. If I do come I'll need to ride in someone else's 4WD as I don't think the Tarago would do well on this trip
2WD'ers are welcome. The campsite will be accessible by 2WD, and if anyone requires a passenger seat for any or all of the events, then please contact me and I will see if I can match you up with anyone.
Anyone with 4WD's, please let me know if you would be willing and able to carry any passengers.
Thanks
Jerry.

I am in a bit of a dilema with this one. I promised myself to do more Orienteering this year and this cache event is the same weekend as the Queensland Orienteering champs. I want to attend both, but this is not possible....
Xixau, Four Bears and Mt Mee. Recipe for fun and frivolity. If the last time I was up there with you guys is anything to go by, I'll be there. Still a little far out to confirm absolutely but it's in the diary.
Yee Haw!
So Far the lineup of attendees looks a little like de ja vu!
We are in, can't wait to see you all there!
