There were quiet a few Muggles about when I pulled up but thankfully the Cache is at the quiet end of the park so I could go about my business unnoticed. After a few minutes searching I found the cache. Had to poke the area a few times with a stick to make sure whatever lives in there was well and truly awake and angry before I put my hand in. Nice spot, thanks for showing it to me.

Found at 1640. After a quick drive from Wodonga to Newcastle today, I decided to stop by on the way to Gosford to pick this one up. Had a good search around for 5 min before settling on the cache hide. A nice little area.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Great spot, and thankfully well out of sight of the many muggles on picnic! TFTC

A note to future cachers - those hornet/wasps are not babies anymore! The nest is located a couple of metres above the cache - so pls take care!

TFTC, Found it straight away although whilst logging I thought I could hear some buzzing, only to realize I was now being attacked by some baby hornets that have taken up residence just above the cache.
I must have disturbed them when grabbing the cache from it's spot.
I tried to rid the area but then more hornets appeared. That was it I was outta there.
So just becareful when getting this cache.

This was our selected lunch spot on our day of caching. Thank you for describing the park accurately. Little Miss Madstars love the park and the bridge and the pond... it was a great little lunch stop over for us.
I love to stop in a nice park, have a great lunch and then find a cache.
Thanks Detourism for this great cache in this fantastic spot.

Found it after a little wandering around working out which side it was on. Didn't get the feet wet!! L T/B.
Mummy 'C' (me) and the 2 little 'C's were up this way visiting Daddy 'C' at work, so I planned on doing a few caches whilst in the neighbourhood. This was the third of four. Great spot. 3yr old 'C' led me straight to it - he was right on target. Nice to see some decent items in the cache. We went over and played in the park afterwards. What a lovely experience - nice place, good sized cache with decent contents, easy to find, and a park to play in afterwards. Thanks!

A quick find once Wassa and I figured out the correct side of the water. Well, we think it was water...the floating pond vegetation is a little out of control at the moment, though entertained Wassa who spent some time throwing small sticks in. If I'd brought the kids they'd have suggested it was a prime crocodile location!

Had a quick hunt after my son's 21st on Sat night but it was too dark to locate the cache easily and too cold to persist. Nest time I am up this way I will try again in daylight hours.
We really enjoyed wandering through this pretty park. Very natural and wild. I loved the little bridge. We took our time and enjoyed everything, thanks.

It's good to see that nothing much changes even when you leave your home state. If there is a natural barrier to be found we always end up on the wrong side of it but we did enjoy our walk through another picturesque part of this park. Once we got ourselves geographically sorted out the cache was easily found. Sometimes drizzly days are to a cachers benefit, muggles don't come out to play

Have often visited the cemertry next door, have a grandson there so we approached it from that side. One of our party was attacked by a wasp quite close to the cache, this is not a method of finding the cache, just a warning to be careful. TNLN TFTC
As per the hint, it is a good thing that the water level here doesn't change. After all the recent rains I was concerned about what I'd find.
Not to worry, a cleverly hidden cache all nice and dry.
Had a nice walk over from the cemetary.
Thanks for the cache.
Oh, there is no pen in the cache and as I didn't have one on me I marked my visit with a dirty thumbprint. Would appreciate if the next finder could date my log and verify the find.

A nice park located somewhat off the beaten track. As I had been driving around the Watagans during the day I was able to exit the forest nearby and make my way conveniently to this park. I can't imaging this park ever being overcrowded and would make a great lunch spot. Glad to have been able to see this spot.
Kid were playing in the park the other day - so decided to check on this cache again. Also took the opportunity to drop Ducky TB - it's been to a few schools already - but no higher ed ones.
First find ever, wasn't too hard to find after i opened my eyes and started looking properly.
On the way through Cooranbong and decided to give it a go - ine xactly the right spot - well hidden. Took TB and replaced a post card. TFTC
Started raining very heavily here. Enough to beat the band, who actually packed up and left. The rest of the mob stayed in the car while i sought out the cache. What a neat little hidey hole. Received Jay Jay TB and replaced BergArt Bead TB. Rain Stopped as we left.
This was a real nice spot- nabbed on the way home from rogaining nearby. Found without and problems.
The cache has had an overhaul and is back in action.
TB Jay Jay has also dropped in for a visit.

We were up at the John hunter in the last week of the holidays because my brother was getting some brain scans done. While we were up we decided to go to cooranbong and than I realised that this cache was near by and I had a sheet for it.(but was printed off quite a while ago) I noted that about a month ago that it was disabled but I didn't know if it still was, so I thought I would see if it had been fixed. So me and my brother (aka Shane Schofield) went for a walk in the nice park while we waited for lunch. When we got to ground zero we found it pretty easily. The container it self didn't look to bad but everything inside was drenched.
Although alot of the swaps were drenched the mini yo yo was good so I took that and I left some bubbles.
TFTC. Even though it was in bad condition. Have stopped in park a couple of times to go to the toilet but never walked in it.

The cache had almost floated away in all the rain. The cache was filled with water and the log book all but ruined as the zip lock that it was in was torn. We tipped out the water and dried things out as best we could - also threw away the destoyed metal items in the cache. We have put in a new log book in a new zip lock but the cache owners will probably want to have a look for themselves sometime soon.
Added to that we had a guy stuck in his 4WD halfway across the creek - he had misjudged where to cross and was waiting for some help - the bloopy mobile is not up for the task of towing so unfortunately we were not much help. Luckily he was too concerned with what he was doing to worry about why we were searching around for plastic containers!

I was in the area visiting family for Christmas, and brought them out here as an introduction to geocaching. A great time was had by all, except for a bite from a jumping bull ant to one member of our group.
An easy find in a nice park. A very family friendly cache.

Dropped off Geocoins: “arlorggen's FTF" & "Grimlock" (This is near a small lake or 'lock'. Best "Lock" that I could find on short notice.)

This was an unplanned cache hunt after a little detour became a long one and I ended up in the area near this cache. Took a little while hopping from one side to the other, and had to stay out of view of the delinquent muggles hanging out near the bus shelter nearby but evventually got it! Nearly stepped into the water which would have sucked. TNLN but signed log - 9pm. TFTH

As the last finder we were first stuck on the wrong side of the bank but once corrected we had the log book in hand straight away.
Great little park and place to have a rest.
Great little park and place to have a rest.
It was round about lunchtime but we had to track this cache down first. Initially tried the wrong side of the lagoon/billabong as it was much more interesting botanically, however the messing around provided a good line on the likely GZ and the cache was quickly located. Traded out a pink anenome for a bouncy ball with lights going in. Also took out Med Crew TB. Peter Penguin TB was travelling with us and we tried to drop him off but he realised that he was going the wrong way so he stayed with us.
An easy find a the start of a day's caching in the Watagans. This was sticking out a little when I found it so I tucked it away a bit more.
No wet feet for us although one of our group did nearly fall in. We took Sevabo Southern Ontario Geocoin to place in another cache. Also my daoughter took a fancy to an incense elephant incense holder so we had to collect that. We left a carabiner.

Found this very easily. Because of the way I approached GZ, you could see the container in its hiding spot - not that anyone would normally be in the place I was. To a muggle, it would have remained unseen for ages.

after getting down the wrong side i swung around and found a nice spot where what a surprise there it was ileft the travel bug bear had some lunch and ventured off for (oh wata feeling).
3rd cache for the day, with an extra difficulty due to muggle factor. The buggers were everywhere! Stormin Norman managed to sneak the cache away, and we perused the contents while the kids played on the swings and had lunch.
Little Miss Rat decided on the heart keyring and left a photo frame.
After a slight decline in muggle density, Stormin snuck the cache back into hiding and off we went for the next one on the list.
Thanks for the fun

I hadn’t seen a mate at Dun’s Creek for a while so thought it was a good chance to plan a small trip north and grab a few caches on the way.
This was our first stop and it was good to finally see Cooranbong after passing the signs on the F3 quite regularly - definitely worth the "detour" .
We could not see the TB ALF. I was looking for a TB tag and there was no item with one - don't recall seeing the badge, but as I know ALF, I think I would have noticed it.
This cache was claimed by Tylander 1st as even though I saw it 1st, he touched it 1st - apparently that makes him the “finder†... I’ll have to look up the “Guide to Geocaching Etiquette†on that one!
Thanks for the cache - great to see a few regular + sized caches out there.
