Out for a walk along the base of Mt Majura with GLISS! to grab some GC and GCA’s. Great to be able to collect this extra GC on our way. Such a lovely day to be out on an adventure. Thanks for the cache.
Found today while thinking there should be a cache for Clancy's Walking Track and if this would be a good hide. I have previously found this in January 2013 and the location was faintly familiar.
Thanks to Tankengine for working out which chache I found.
I put the remnants of the log in a new ziplock bag. The container is still sound.
Someone found it in January 2019, but I guess they couldn't work out which cache they found.
It's also not under a pile of rocks ...

I heard that this one was actually still in position, so included it in a walk at the based of Mt Majura. The container was quickly found by Nibletricecakes and I in a traditional geocaching hide. This was one of 7 GC/GCA finds today. Nice to collect an unexpected bonus smiley. TFTC sacada.
No response from the owner within the last 28 Days and as per my original note this cache has been archived. If you wish to replace it please submit a new cache via [this link](https://www.geocaching.com/play/hide).
Mt Majura is not Flat and neither is the cache there !!! Searched widely but came up with nothing.
Cache owner needs to attend to this.

Found remnants of small rock pile, but cache definitely no longer there. Needs maintenance
Searched high and low for a pretty large radius but could not find this one, even with the help of the hint.
F(H)ound It! 9:45am
The Ridgeo-pup and I spent several hours meandering around Mt Majura. This cache has been ANIMUGGLED. Signs of chewing on the lid and scratching at GZ. The contents were strewn around but luckily the log was still OK. I collected the contents and placed them in a new systema before replacing. Thanks for the cache sacada

This cache needs some TLC. thanks.....Might need a new container soon and log book.
A very hot afternoon mid 30's I think and the local Kangaroos were all resting under the trees. Arrived at GZ and found the cache and signed the log with a few grey on lookers. As per the previous logs it needs a new log and container. TFTC sacada another great spot to visit in Canberra.
Log needs to be replaced as it has seen better days. The container also needs maintenance as the lid won't stay on. TFTC.
Hey thanks for the cache it was a fun cache to add to my walk!!. This one needs a bit of maintenance though as the container is broken and the plastix bag with the log is broken so the log is water damaged so stuck together.
We came at dark which made things more difficult. But found it eventually. Good one. The container needs some maintenance.
The log has certainly seen better days but the location is great. A short walk through wild flowers and birds - tftc.

What a great trail 2 minutes in and we see a lovely shingle back lizard the cache log is a bit wet and could use a new container but what a lovely place to visit TFTC
Nice hiding spot. Log in plastic bag is damp. Thanks to the geocacher who put a new piece of paper in.
#1155 2 of 5 today.
A beautiful pre-spring day to duck out for a bit of lunchtime caching. With the weekend promising to be wet, it's best to make the most of the conditions. I parked off the side, headed through the gates & up the very slight hill. I disturbed a mob of kangaroos on the way. It was quite a site to see them all hopping off. A quick find in the end. The cache is very damp, it looks like the cache locks have all broken off. I signed a slightly drier auxiliary log placed by a previous cacher.

First cache for the day, as previously mentioned the log is completely soaked and ruined. We wrote our name on a post-it note that was left behind by someone else.
The actual container is broken, all the clips have snapped off so the lid doesn't stay on. Will need maintenance asap

I was going to tackle Goorooyaroo this morning but there was some sort of wild party going on there (like 20+ cars in the carpark!) and I just wanted some peace and quiet so I turned my sights to Majura. There were plenty of cars here too so I guess everyone was just out enjoying the great weather. I headed in through the area and found the cache after a short hunt. Coords were about 8m out for me today. The log is also soaking wet and the container clips are broken so this one needs some TLC. Lovely area. Thanks sacada
Someone left the logbook outside the cache. Its soaked and un-usable. It needs to be replaced asap.
Container is damaged and needs replacement... We'll be back next weekend to rectify.
After last weeks assault on the western side of Mt Majura, today we parked near the newly refurbished Valour Park, and began a long, slow run up and around Mt Ainslie. This cache was one of the easier in the sense of terrain rating, and we did appreciate that.
We loved our meander, watching as the skies began to look ominous, but in the end, no rain, just a threat, and we continued on our way.
Thanks sacada for the cache, the bush and the walk. A lovely morning all round!

With the threat of impending rain we set off for a short walk today and this was our first stop.

Ventured out on a Sunday afternoon caching trip to collect a few caches. Looked for seven caches, found seven caches! Two puzzles, two multis and three off-road trads....pretty successful afternoon all around!
Second traditional cache of the afternoon. Decided to continue collecting some caches off-road, and this one was a nice little walk from the parking spot. Was worried about being in the wrong area for the cache, but when very close to the GZ, I spotted the hint item and made the find.
Thanks sacada for the cache and the walk!

Out after work for my daily. Decided to pick up a few around this spot. Great hide however container is deteriorating
Tftc sacada:)

Bit of an explore before the storm hits. Bout time I got out here! Thanks for giving me an excuse.
Cute, really nice walk to find it. Lacking mementos in it though, might need a nice soul to replenish it. TFTC.
The sixth find for the day whilst out riding through the area. I was glad this time that there was a track to GZ, which made the travel time much quicker! I left my bike a few metres from GZ and then made my over to the cache where it was found quickly. Log signed and cache replaced, I was back to the main trail again. TFTC and the detour sacada!
Found after a bit of searching. The first cache that I've found without the eyes of an experienced geocacher to show me what to look for, but once I read the hint I found it easily enough. Great way to start my trip up Mt Majura. TFTC!
Decided to tackle a few more on Mt Majura and Mt Ainslie today in a bid to complete all the traditionals in this area.
Found this one at 1108.

Loved the walk through the Australian bushland. Nice to see the vegetation recovering from the draught. I took an old discarded cache container away, but the replacement is also cracked and needs owner attention. TFTC.
Not completely flat, but close to. A bit of walking to complete an afternoon of cycling and caching. TFTC.
Happy Canberra Day! And what a beautiful one it is too. 4th cache so far today. TFTC!
What better way to start Canberra Day than to assault Mt Majura, along with the sharp-eyed Marmaduke Rothschild. A 9km round and about for 17 caches. More off-track than on-track. TFTC.
Was exposed to the elements with its former container broken and outside in the open.
Decided to cache our backyard today. Kids having a Sunday nap so GeoDad is killing himself on the mountain bike...must stop for breath...must...drink waterrrr. Great day for it TFTC!

Log is ok but a bit messed up. Cache is safe now I put it back in its hiding place. As it was left exposed suggest moving 4 meters south to a more permanent location feature. All good for now though.
GPS got us close to gz. Our eyes took us the rest of the way. Took trackable dog tag. Loved the walk

I think the title is incorrect. Mount Majura is not flat, it's more a mountain shape, with slopey sides that go up and down. Not so much at this spot though . Like previous finders, I found the 2 containers. Presumably the one with the lid is the latest, but I signed both logbooks to be sure.
TNLN - Thanks sacada

#720 - 15:20; Having just about cleared Goorooyarroo and Mulligan's Flat, it was time to cross the highway and make a start on Mount Majura. This one made for a reasonably quick find and not too far from the track on the way to three more to add to the tally. TFTC sacada
Found this one on what was a pleasant afternoon picking up a number of caches through Majura nature reserve Like others, I found two containers. I signed the log in the smaller sealed cache as this one seems to be the replacement for the other damaged one. Anyway, thanks for the cache(s) sacada
There were two containers at GZ both with log sheets.
One container was missing a lid.
I attempted to leave the one with the missing lid in such a way that the log sheet will stay dry hopefully.

This find was spectacularly enhanced by a magnificent sunset. Having climbed Mt Majura once (and I intend to do it again) this cache name seems very appropriate.

Thanks sacada for the hunt and great location.

2013-06-14 0038 Not one but two containers at GZ. Fair bit of history in that old log book. Took care to keep off the tracks that are under repair. Second of three on this little stroll. Thanks sacada for taking me a little away from suburbia!
Nice easy one to get back into it in a new state. Also first find for GeoKid, more treasure hunts in the future...
