We think the Park police may have found our cache, as it is the 2nd one to have gone missing at Point Lookout. As our aim was to get visitors off the main road to view the magnificent scenery, we may have to try for somewhere else. Our apologies to those who were unsuccessful, but hopefully, like our recent American cachers, you would still have enjoyed the visit.

Bummer. We couldn't find it. I suspect this cache is MIA.

The upside was, the cache location took us to a place a couple of Yanks would probably never go too!

I hope this one resurfaces!

Didn't find after searching extensively for ages.......GPS gave me a good fix for where to start though for a 1.5/1.5 it wasn't to be found. The obvious spot did not contain the cache, though it may be hidden VERY well. A nice clear day allowed me to search extensively, even in the bushy area, as in the past i have been in this area and it has bucketed down for days (not surprising considering you are 1500+m above sea level).

Nice views from here non-the-less, well worth the effort to see this area. Thanks for the challenge.

Day 3 of my Mid North Coast / New England Cachepedition. Everyone should do this cache!!! The views from the Point Lookout are mind blowing. You can see all the way to “Big Brother.†That’s 135 km away! The cache itself was in good condition and well hidden. Thanks Toyota Trekkers for bringing me here.
