As there has been no response to my note I have to assume the owner is no longer interested in this location.
Stopped by this morning armed with new cache, but alas there is council activity happening at the moment, so would be a pointless exercise replacing this one for now
once work has finished viewing will return to normal
once work has finished viewing will return to normal
muggles are making it hard to replace this one, along with the decision of wether to put the cache back in the same spot, or find a new hidey hole
will be back soon

After the DNF i thought i would check on the cache.
As soon as i pulled up i could see that things werent good. The area needs a tidy up by the council (and the car battery removed), and a mower runnin over the place
Cache location has been tampered with. Ill return after dark to see if i can retreive the cache, but its not looking good.
If not, ive got a spare cache in the glovebox from a cache that i didnt end up placing yesterday @ strathalbyn

First of four caches today (other caches being: Elkanah Gums, Hunting in the Dale - No. 1, Hunting in the Dale - No. 2). Found 28/01/07 (28th January) @ 4:30pm by Paul and Phillip (Team Stargazer). Easy cache that was found very quickly by Phillip.

18th find of 20 before 11:30am.
Found easily, and from the looks of the logbook, several muggles have found it too. They've signed the logbook and obviously replaced the cache though, so that's a good thing!
TNLNSL.

4th of 20 for the day.
Another easy find this time at 10.50am. Once again felt very obvious when filling in the log book and was just about to replace it when a young muggle wlaked by giving me a very strange look. Waited for him to leave and then replaced it.

Found 18:15. 11th of 12 FFTD. Dragged the Geokids and the nearly 9 month pregnant Mrs E out of the house for the afternoon of caching, probably the last time for awhile . Quick find by Mrs E (Sitting in the Geomobile ), Mr E and the Geokids however had a bit of a search. Took: Aussie Flag, Left: Bangle, SL. TFTC.
Nice cache in an interesting location, we live nearby but hadn't been there before.
Returned for 2nd try, this time with Mrs Bone Cruncher, who, true to form, spotted cache in no time at all.
Found cache right were it should be!! Interesting area, went and explored the playground and other nearby ruins while we were there. TNLN TFTC
After the previous DNF i thought i better check on this one.
Its still sitting safe and sound in its hiding spot. the container could do with a coat of paint, but apart from that its all good.
The note book is starting to fill up ( i didnt realise just how many people had been here!!!), but there is still plenty of room on the backs of pages.
Im impressed that the cache has lasted so long, and even a couple of muggles have found it. here's hoping it can survive just as long as the nearby structure itself

Spent 15min searching high and low then gave up. Everyone else seemed to have no trouble. Maybe its been muggled... Maybe I just need Mrs Bone Cruncher's sharp eyes. I'll bring her and try later.
Another find for the Chauffer cacher, nice to see some of the local history being looked after, I bet it's nice and cool inside on this 41 degree day. Well time to pick up another client.
Cheers from barra

Bought some lunch and sat to eat by a wonderful tree in this spacious and quiet reserve, before starting our hunt. Found it in about 10 mins, not at the first location to where the GPSr pointed us. Walked away, and then back, right to GZ. Cleverly hidden !
Interesting history, so glad the building is still in use today!
OUT: Geocoin Belken's Aussie Wanderer, 'B' bead.
IN : Glass stone (with magnifying qualities), AU flag pick

Hi
nice easy cache to find after getting my GPS back from repair. Finally got to move on a stranded coin and the kids enjoyed the park nearby.

After circumnavigating the site a couple of times with micro-mustard in my arms, I decided it was time to get down and dirty.
As they say "obvious place", but not where we first looked .
Took ghost, left pen (because there wasn't a writing implement in the cache), signed log.
Thanks for an easy cache - I've had a run of DNF's and was loosing condifence in my finding .

A quick find, 24th of 43 for the day.
Managed to stay out of site of a neighbouring muggle.

Nice spot, went straight to gz, the neighbours kid took a liking to me and I felt watched, I had to leave this one and move on, never mind , maybe next time.
Nice short walk today, checking everything out as we are new to the area and we live a few houses away. Found right away by Mrs Elf while looking in another obvious place. Her second Cache.
Had a drive-by from another cacher, couldn't see who it was though. To answer their question, we did find the cache easy enough.

A nice quick drive-by during a visit to adelaide. This is an excellent place and I was pleased it wasn't knocked down for some development.

Had visited this one previously but under a different alias. Quick stop off and on for some more.
Spotted GZ from the car, while filling out log met a muggle who thought I was from the council cleaning up (must have been the fluro vest). After he moved on I replaced the cache. Took TB and left a Clip.SL TFTC
Nice quick one to find, need to be careful about muggles though. Let Cassie's trip continue. Take her somewhere nice!

I parked on the road and I think I spotted the cache before I got out of the car! A great building - very interesting. Found 11am. This was one of 35 finds today. Thanks for the hide.
Just dropping past to check that its still safe, and to start my new australian geocoins journey
Found at 14:05. A very easy find. I could see the cache from some distance away. I left it pushed in a little further. No swap. Thanks.
Spotted location instantly.

Didn't realise how close we were to this cache after leaving Elkanah Gums, until we nearly drove past it. It's great to see historic buildings left intact amidst all the urban sprawl. Spotted a dead pigeon under the tree, so made sure we didn't go digging around there. A look in the right direction though, and the container was spotted in it's little home. I was sure we had already logged the Key to the City, so left it in the cache. But turns out we haven't found this one before. Hope no-one minds that we jotted down the data anyway. TNLNSL. Thanks setsujoku.
It was good to nail one after two successive DNFs. Nice barn. Took the seeds and left A Key to the City TB.
Found by Mary & David at 1900 after dinner at the Emu Hotel. Good to see the barn being kept in use. Took plastic shapes, left forget-me-not seeds. Our thanks once more to setsujoku.
This one brought up my 50th find. My sixth after work today w/ Team Langy (hey, we were already late...) TNLNSL
Slight detour while on our way down south for the weekend.
It wasnt where I expected but I soon sighted a likely place and had the cache in hand.

Sixth for the morning already, and on a roll. There were only two likely spots for this, one where I thought it was, the other somewhere else. Found it at 9.15 am at the latter! No swaps. Cheers.
2nd cache for the evening. Nice and simple to finish the night on, took car, left tiki. Thanks
Great cache, and a nice area.

Found last night under the cover of darkness with the help of some friends that we were visiting nearby. Took keyring and left ball.
Walked straight up to the cache this afternoon. Strange to find this type of architecture in a very urban environment. Nice to see it restored.
Found in the obviuos spot, reminds me of Ghost Train. Took a frog, left a Christmas decoration. Nice find on the first daylight savings day!
Found at 16:10
Nice easy find to introduce two youngsters to geocaching. Weather was not ideal but we didn't get too wet!
First of four finds for the afternoon.

geocaching on my birthday... then off to see Adelaide beat Brisbane in a top of the table clash in basketball... by only one point! what a great day! TN left voogoofish badge. love the placement! cheers.
I made this one harder than it actually was . In my list of today’s caches, I got the details of this one mixed with another, and couldn’t work it out for the life of me? Once the blue was realised it got a bit easier . Moved away from the obvious position at GZ and found it after a few minutes searching. TNLN.
Had a good look around to where the GPSr was pointing but nothing. Went for a walk to the playground and came back with a wide birth and as I was walking back to GZ spoted the cache hiding spot.

Caz spotted this one at 9.30am - our first find on our caching day down south in the GeoDisco with Liz and Bruce.
Fascinating building. Thanks for bring us to have a look setsujoku.

Brings back some memories as I worked here when it was a construction site.
Took nothing and left a "B" for Bloodhound bead then changed my mind and took the duck so I could close the lid properly.
Thanks setsujoku for another easy find.

Good find at about 5pm on a walk with the dogs. Looked in the obvious spot for a few minutes, but then sighted it elsewhere. I know what others mean by the windows all around. TNLN. Signed log
Looked through tree and then found the suspicious place. Took friendship magnet. Left golden bear. Thanks Setsujoku.
We too looked at the tree and then saw the obvious spot. Have lived in the area for years and didn't know this was here. Left racing car and Klem Bear and took nothing. Thanks Setsujoku.
Found this one tonight, just before sunset. That is of course after spending 5 minutes searching in the obvious spot, before the better-half of TeamMinx had a suggestion ... which turned out to be spot on.
Seems that there are some magpies in the area that are not too keen on visitors ... one of them took a few swoops at me whilst we were there!
No swaps ... and an interesting history lesson, thanks!

Picked up an easy find, after the 'school run'. No muggles, but plenty of windows! Pity had a sick geokid, may have got this earlier this week!
Left patch, took Sgt Rock TB for trip to Yorkes!

An easy find with no muggles around, but it felt like there were eyes at every window! Got woken by thunder at 4.40 am this morning, but there was no way I was getting out of bed to go caching. [|)] [|)]
