As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
After viewing the photo we were definatley in the right spot. The only thing we could find were some strange looks from two police men on trail bikes riding through the park.
This cache has gone missing, or may have cleaned up. It will be replaced soon.
did not find...figured it would have been too small to deposit the travel bug anyway
No find after dark. Not sure if I had the correct base. Maybe it was hexadecimal.
Later I spoke with a South Australian parrot friend. He confirmed the location. I think it is gone guys.

Quick find. A bit of a wait for the park goer's but none the less a great way to kill some time. OTBW - my first Australia cache found.

Walked passed this one at 6:30 in the morning.
However a homeless person was keeping the bench warm so I had to move on.
Came back later in the day as I was as keen as curry and would have jumped through hoops to get this one.

14:29 A few muggles but further no worries.
This was a real easy-find-cache! The most fun was that we just turned on our GPS at 56 meters away.
The post-it-blocknote is full so we used the backside of one of the pages to log.
Thanks for this one!

Found with Geonanna at 11am. Very ouchy spot with heavy muggle traffic through the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed retrieving and rehiding this cache at 11am and would enjoy also watching the Nightingale Family (in their protective clothing) replacing the log book, which will have to be used on the reverse pages, if not replaced. Need to have a 'cockatoo' on watch for almost continuous muggle traffic through area. Thanks for the fun!
This was a nice easy city cache. I signed the log book and took a travel bug which I will release next week when I return home. Thanks for the cache. TmyTkr
Picked up TB "Maine Lighthouse". (no others left)
Found cache very exposed so I gathered more of the appropriate matching cover materials to conceal the cache.
Please make sure you re-hide these types of caches well as they are exposed to lots of muggle traffic.

I think it was on this day anyway - found quuite easily - no-one in sight at the time - copped a dew oucjies replacing it before someone came along.
What a beautiful spot. I work only 100m from here and never knew this park was there.
Thanks The Nightingale.

PS Do I have a problem? I did one before work, one at lunch and one straight after work?

Last of seven finds for my last night in Brisbane. Actually, it would be more correct to say "Keen as Curry". This was a nice easy find at 2125. My hotel is a mere 160m from this cache, and I could see it from GZ. It looked inviting, so I decided to call it a night. I was surprised at the number of people walking through the park, even at this time of night; not a huge number, but enough to require me to be vigilant. Thanks to The Nightingale Family for the cache.
Nice and easy find, 150m from hotel! It's a bit damp though. Signed log.
bodysteppingfreak and I spent a day in Brisbane on a caching bonanza... we could hardly let this one go unfound when it was just 150 metres from our hotel. Easy find and a cool little park.
Picked this while waiting for train. Relatively quiet place in heart of the city.
Our second ever geocache!
The joy of discovery was somewhat tempered by:
Ow Ow Ow OW OW OW OW GODDAMNIT OW Ow Ow.
...in the process of getting it out.
Took an American Quater and left a joker from a pack of cards I happened to have on me.

This was just a few hundred metres down the hill from my hotel so I had no choice but to have a go at it. Found easily and logged my find. I had to be a bit sneaky in replacing the cache due to some muggles appearing a bit further up the hill. Thanks for the cache.
Found this one easily enough after giving up on a nearby cache . Should have been wearing work clothes to retrive this one!!
Very interesting views from up here

Nice easy find, well located (also found another use for the calibrated geospider stick - good for restraining spiky branches)
Inhabitants were not so Keen on their living conditions and were a bit cramped in the tin. Will move the Geocoin & Travel Bug to more spacious cache.

With the decision we should enter the new year which is an even nunber (2006) with an even number of caches this one was close and easy. Freckle Face and I headed out to find a couple after dinner. Under the cover of darkness we realised we must be as "Keen as Mustard"

00:47hrs Keen as mustard - easy peasey Japanesey. I can;t believe this one is still lying in situ, found the remnants of some locals in close proximity. Very public by day so the hours of darkness is best to approach.
Found on a lunch break from our new job site in the city.
Took a couple of new geocachers with us who enjoyed the hunt.

Nice city cache!
I doubt that anyone but cachers will be digging around here... so the cache is unlikely to get muggled.

The first of the morning for Uncle Gary, Lindy Lou and I before I head back to Melbourne (and the colder weather).
We parked at the top and took a walk down, past a couple of large green rubbish bins that appears to be the property of some of the homeless in the park this morning.
While Uncle Gary and Lindy Lou (who both had the GPSrs) walked around in ever diminishing circles I walked up to the hiding location, confirmed the cache and stood back to watch. They eventually wound their way across and we made our log.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Grabbed two TB's.
Thanks to The Nightingale Family for this cache. A nice park and walk on a warm morning that was soon to be much hotter and sweatier.

Found the cache no problem, but there were a lot of bergies sleeping in the park so I had to wait quite a long time to get a clear chance to retrieve it.
Left two travel bugs and took the dollar.

Ahh, a cache right in the city centre. Great view from here too. Gloves or maybe some tweezers would be useful in grabbing this cache!. Dropped off "Precious" TB.
Woohoo !!! FTF - a nice easy find after lunch [12.30].
