###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

When Ausfox; offered to drive for a nearby first to find in the lovely cold liquid sunshine of Ballarat I could knock back the opportunity. With the first to find achieved we then set our sights on turning the nearby green boxes into a much more appropriate and pleasing yellow smileys.
A nice and quick easy find here while we were light rain continued to fall.
Thank you 2Dudez for the cache

With the sunset set and the air wet. It was a perfect time to cache around Ballarat.
Picked up the Simsfamily to turn a few green boxes into smilies. Took a more challenging way in than out but was able to find the cache, so all is good in the world.
Log signed and replaced as found.

Nice easy find - again, pity about the rubbish people dump in this rather nice little back road. TFTC
Why do I always take the bush bash approach? Found the cache, then the pathway. Naturally I returned via the path. TFTC
Went the wrong direction but finally got it right. This seems to be the dumping point for mattresses though...
I wanted to go the other direction! Zedaycee said go his way. Wound up doing a circuit before finally coming to the cache.
Nice pleasant walk to the Gz pitty about the garbage on other side off the GZ
With Zedaycee and Angelique Anja.

A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area with mcsee&petal today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
This one was an easy walk through the trees, noticing the scattered rubbish as we walked, which is a shame.
A nice easy find, so thanks 2Dudez for this placement.

Find #1068 for me. I found this one quickly this afternoon with my elderly mother. Thanks for the cache 2Dudez!
Here on holidays from the USA. Cordons a little different than my GPS was picking up. Didn't take long to figure out its location. Thanks for the hide
12:02:00 PM. We decided to get out and pick up a few caches today as it was going to get warm. It's good to be in a new area and look around. Found after a short search and log signed. Thanks 2Dudez for placing this cache.
TFTC. Easier find in daylight as second time we've had a crack at this one. Out collecting smilies on a beautiful day with Clan McStormy.
Our first find for today in the cool weather at Ballarat. With the satellites making the GPSr spin under tree cover, we made the search a little harder for ourselves than we needed to. Still, found it in good time. Lovely bird noises and very little traffic along the road this morning.
Gave the container a "band-aid" to cover the cracks. Not sure how long it will last.

Coords about 10m out but logic prevailed. Appears from the state of the upper surface of the log that others may have the same issue.
Note the container is cracked.

Glad I didn't realise I was standing on underground development here. I though the name meant something else. I usually read the notes when I get back home.
The cache was found out in the open and the base a little cracked. I replaced it where the clue suggested. You may want to check on it at some time.

Staying a few days in Ballarat on our tour of Australia.
Boy it is very cold here this week. Maximum of 10degrees. From Perth WA that is VERRRRYYYYY COLD. [8)]
We started our morning in the CBD then moved back towards our caravan park. Bit of a mixed bag out and about today but being soooo cold we didn't really stick around to do too much tourist stuff. We were frightened of being frozen to the paving.
Unexpectedly in this area after completing a multi we just had to grab this cache too.

Cache zombified.
Quick find while exploring the area. Junior Cat was a bit concerned about a kangaroo having a 'rest ' nearby. Cache in good order.

Out as a team today as it is my birthday and hope to secure our 4,000th cache. Not to pleasant decline for us today Checked out the clue location and masses of pine needles and rotting tree. Checked all possibilities. We moved on
We may return, thanks 2dudez

Off on a morning caching run before heading back to Warrnambool. I parked the car and went for a short stroll. When I arrived at GZ, the cache was soon in my grasp and the log signed. TFTC 2Dudez, great spot, unfortunately the cache was the most valuable thing I unearthed today.
Enjoying a caching afternoon in Ballarat with Lazyade. Love the gold mining history of Ballarat and the western district. The fact there is a highly productive working mine underneath where we were standing is just living history to add to the story. Cache found relatively quickly by Lazyade. We didn't get prickled. TFTC 2Dudez.
We were up for the 2 events in Ballarat on Sunday, ending the 31 days of the August Challenge, so of coarse we had to do some caching as well
Had to grab this cache while we were already here for the CITO. Hopefully this area stays clean after everybodies efforts today.

Thanks for this cache picked this one up while at the Ballarat CITO - The 7 Souvenirs of August but forgot to log. Thanks again
With pipnol and bella who made a quick find. Too bad about the rubbish here and nice to see a clean up is planned - sorry we can't be there to help. TFTC
Find No. 688. Found with FUF009 at 3.02pm
A trip to Ballarat to attend an event in Wendouree Village to complete our 7 Souvenirs of August, do some shopping and of course find some caches. FUF009 came with us for the day.
Last find the the day. Just as we were finding this one it decided to pour, so we quickly wrote our names in the log, replaced cache and then had to high tail it back to the van. Yep - we got wet.

After attending the event out at Wendouree village with Tyred n Cranky and heading into Ballarat for some shopping and appointment and grabbing the letterbox cache nearby we decided to come up here and try and grab this in between rain showers. It is good to see that there is a CITO in this area in during August, man there is a lot of trash around the area.

Out this afternoon with the geokids (age 3 & 5) for a bit of adventuring. Easy find. Area is full of rubbish. Looks horrible. Would be a great CITO location. Thanks
A quick visit to Ballarat today to do a bit of shopping and with a couple of hours to spare, I thought I would find a few caches as well.
This one certainly had me jumping puddles and mud almost ankle deep. The co-ords had me about 10 metres out but that could have been for the trees and the cloud today.
Thanks for the cache 2Dudez
