Found on our way to the highest town. Thanks for having us stop and enjoy the view. Spill way wasnt running today, the water level was very low.
Took a drive from where we were staying in Corryong, up to Cabramurra and return via Nurenmerenmong and found this along the way. Amazing views and structures. Thanks Roostaman
We stopped by here while on the way up north and that gave me a chance to have a look for this appropriately named cache. I took a squiz at the hint to make sure I didn't take too long after which I was soon signing the log at 11:15. TNLNSL, although a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Roostaman. **PS:** The insides were slightly damp but not too much at this stage.
Found on our way north (and up) to meet up with friends for some camping over the break.TNLN SL TFTC

Thanks Roostaman for bringing us to the Tumut Pond Dam - we enjoyed the scenic drive from Cabramurra to the Dam and had a good look around the Dam when we arrived.
Just a note in reference to Cabramurra being closed in one of the logs below - on the day we visited you could drive into the town - we were able to go up to the lookout which offered great views of the re-construction going on and the views of the mountains in the distance.

On our way back home after a great week camping up on the high plains, and we pulled the circus up here for a quick look on the way down the mountain.
It’s amazing how hot the fires were in this area as the trees still haven’t come back, and it looks like the rebuilding of Cabramurra is in full swing, but still closed to the public.
Anyway, dad raced down the lane and grabbed this one while everyone was looking over the wall into the abyss.
And then off we went as we had a date with a long walk down the road at round mountain for an old multi.

First find up the drive, there was a metre long snake directly where the cache was. Anyone searching - beware in this area. The dripping water 2m to the left probably attracts snakes.
I scared the snake off - the water has waterlogged inside the cache, so it’s a bit gross by now.

I enjoyed a few days visiting this area and found your cache while passing through. I used geocaching as my tour guide.
Took photos hoping the worker on the other side would leave so I could do a thorough search.
This cache took a few minutes to find, so many possibilites. Cache in good condition.
A stunning piece of country to visit plus there is more to explore and geocaches to find... reason to come back for another trip ??
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for the enjoyment of geocachers... like me ??
I'm finally catching up with my 2022 logging... so apologies for my tardy log.

I travelled to the Upper Murray River for several days kayaking which provided the opportunity to find some geocaches on the journey south. This cache was a straightforward find, being in a place obvious to geocachers and on the coordinates. I fine view of the dam wall from this position. Thank you Roostaman for installing and maintaining this cache.
Easy find on the way back from Round Mountain.
Amazing dam wall, although the dam itself was very low.

Looks like I will need to replace this one.
In the interim if anyone passing by happens to have a small temporary container and a few log sheets it would be greatly appreciated if you could temporarily fix it for me.
Otherwise it could be a while before I can get there to maintain it.

As you can see the cache has kindasorta survived the fires. Impossible to open and write in the logbook. Very sad seeing impact of fires on this beautiful area. TFTC

Found this cache nice and easy although we did see a blue tounge about to get eaten by a copper head snake.
Whilst travelling home from the OZGeomuster, we were both needing regular stops to stretch our legs on the journey, so chose to stop at places with a good view and some favourite points.
This one had both, not just at the top, but driving up to it as well. Thanks for bringing us up here.
The spillway is spectacular even though there was no water going across the top.
Muggle Hubby enjoyed taking photos whilst I found the cache.
It was full of ants that I had to relocate to sign the log, which was damp.
Thanks for bringing us here to see the view via your cache.

Australia Day 2018 Long weekend Trip to Jindabyne for lake diving and on to Wagga to catch up with Riverina caches. Day 3. Today started with the breakfast event and then I jumped in the car and traveled to Wagga via Tumbarumba. The weather stayed clear today, a bit of a surprise. After the fun and dramatic drive down the hill, the cache and infrastructure were well worth the visit. I will have to do the rest of that road one day.
Thanks.

We arrived and pulled the car up and went back to the wall to take some photos and check out the great views. We had such a great time doing so that we completely forgot about the cache and it wasn't until we were half way back up the hill before we remembered, so we did a u-turn and went back to GZ For some reason the GPSr didn't want to behave and was telling us GZ was km away. So we wondered around with hint in mind until we found the container.

On our way up to the highest town in Australia, we stopped into find this one. When the GPS settled down it was a quick find, signed log and replaced. Thanks to Roostaman.
A three day walk around the Jagungal wilderness meant no caches. But we couldn't resist stopping by just one on the drive home. This was a short rest stop and we took the opportunity to take in the views while we were there. A quick find, although ants have settled in to the container. Thanks Roostaman
Found on a rainy day driving through the mountains on our way home. Emptied out the ant invasion. Threat neutralised. TFTC

A long distance between the last cache we found and this one. A quick find of a nice solid container but unfortunately the log was quite mouldy smelling and the container full of ants!!! Did wonder how on earth they got in there??
The water here was very low and the dam very similar to Devil's Gate in Tasmania. Abseiling is now conducted down that dam wall - wonder if it will ever take off here.
Thanks.

I was down here for work however due to long days in only manged to find two caches while i was away. This was one of them as i needed a break from driving and wanted to check out the Dam. Very quick find. TFTC
Found whilst on the 2017 #gnomehome adventure around the Australian continent. thanks for the cache and thanks for bringing us here. ??
We pulled over in the bay after the bridge and walked down to GZ. The cache was quickly located, but retrieving it revealed an unpleasant surprise - ants, lots of them. We managed to shake off as many as we could to be able to sign the log, and then replaced the cache where we found it.
While camping on the Murray we decided to go for a day trip into the national park.
Nothing I recognized as a trackable in the cache. Maybe the ants stole it?

Great hide, fantastic views, loads of little ants who are now set free. Took the Bilby and left a Zebra. TFTC
Found on my way back from collecting Animals. A rainy, snowy, overcast day, but plenty of caching opportunities. A number of ants were enjoying the dryness of the cache, so they were flushed out. TFTC Roostaman
Spectacular is the right word for it. Some great views here and on the way down. The cache is in great condition for its age. TFTC
After some stomach churning sights on the way down (I get dizzy going up one step), I was glad the cache was on solid flat ground. The reflections in the still water were wonderful - what a great place for a cache. Thanks Roostaman.
Yes, it is spectacular! What an engineering feat this hydro-electric system is!

3 October 15 found with The Emongs and Geokids good hide but cache is almost completely destroyed. Only the broken lid of the container and scrap of log in torn plastic bag left. Mr Emongs graciously sacrificed his sugar container from the picnic bag and we put together a temporary log and small swap. Hoping this one will have an extended life in such a scenic and interesting place.
Spectacular indeed! Quickly found, we've repaired the container with tape so it should hold for a while. Logbook is a bit moist though. Saw a big reptile (snake?) 20 meters from the cache.

I won't be up this way for a while to fix the container.
If anyone heading this way in the near future might happen to have
a spare container it would be great if you might be able to help out here.
Otherwise, if you might have some tape to repair it and keep the ants out would be great too.
Thanks in advance to anyone able to help out.

CO needs to change cache container. Container has large split around the base and now is the home to ants.
Found with dogboyoz. After the scout camp at Cabramurra was rained out for Sunday we decided to do a couple of caches before heading home. Loved this dam. It must have been a huge undertaking to construct.

I'm sorry for the late log I have forgotten to log loads of caches But! With the help of Noikmeister I got all the logs that I need!
Love it! The dam wall is amazingly high - especially looking down from the middle.

Although the contents of the container seem ok at the moment, it looks like someone has screwed the lid down too tight and pushed the contents out the bottom, the bottom is cracked and coming off about 3/4 of the way around. It won't be long before the contents are spilling out and getting wet.
Had been through here a few years ago and discovered the echo properties of the dam. Try yelling or clapping while standing near the dam wall in the car park and listen for the double echo... Anyway, this time there was a muggle couple reading the signs but once they decided to go for a walk along the wall it gave me the opportunity that I needed to find the cache.
Reasonably easy find with the use of the hint.

I was disappointed to miss this one. I don't know if my gps took me to the wrong place, but I couldn't fin it despite a considerable search.
Crusty.

Just went for a drive from the campsite. Was very wary of the fallen rocks when I realised it was not the work of geocachers. Enjoyed the walk across the wall, reminded me of the Hoover Dam.
We enjoyed our walk across the day imagining what it would be like to be James Bond and bungee jump from the rail to the shed below. The water level was so low that we imagine that a year will pass before the dam is close to full enough for the spillway to be used. A great location for a cache. Thanks Rosstaman, the cache is excellent condition.
Very impressive spillway. Cache was easily found and we left a 4wd Jeep TB. Nice 4wd country here. TFTC Roostaman.
TFTC and thank you for the great location. Caches like this make it a worthwhile activity. The water level is very low for this time of year.
Found at 4.45pm.

It was cool and windy, but an impressive piece of engineering.
Cache quickly found and logbook signed in the car - it was blowing a gale,
