Reperio 09:50Day 4 of my little escapade to Albury for the weekend, and having camped the night in Wagga Wagga, it was time to head home to Orange. Nice to stop by and grab a few roadside caches. I had wondered whether this one was placed before the house across the road was built.Gratias Team HorizonsAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Quick find. Obviously a bit dry in this area at the moment as the cache was a bit dusty
Found with SSRAT AND GOOSE,They were in Australia for a few days and planned a big trip to smash some smilies over a cpl states and about 4000 lga's !! The boys found it while i 'kept lookout'Lots of laughs had already and we didnt even kill each other after 4 days TFTC
The museum wasn't open yet so we found this cache, popped into town for a bit and came back for the other one. A quick find for us today. Thanks Team HorizonsOur four day boys trip was an 1800km dash from Melbourne Airport into southern parts of NSW, caching in 19 different LGAs. After an overnight near Melbourne airport, the toolman picked us up and we were off. Overnight stops were in Deniliquin, Ariah Park and Albury with a small selection of caches in each LGA unless there some more exciting ones to make us hang around a bit longer. The toolman finally filled his D/T grid. Lots of laughs, lots of insults, a good number of caches, but not enough sleep! Thanks to all the COs that made the trip a fun adventure. Day 3 of our trip and this one was another quick find by us before adding our names and then replacing as found and then moving on to the next on the shortlist. This one was something a bit different with us having to make 2 visits to sign this one, note for others the cafe and museum have different opening times! This was a mainland trip from Tassie to do a couple of things, we wanted to grab a few LGAs and also the big item was to finish of the DT grid of 1Toolman.We landed late on Wednesday night and after a good night at the Melbourne Novotel Toolman picked up and drove us North for four days of caching before he brought us back on Sunday night, we had a great time with lots of caching and lots of laughs.Found on 26/10/2024 at 10:28:00 thanks to Team Horizons for placing this cache for me to find. We are staying in town for a couple of days while we visit Family. After a lovely coffee at the aviation Museum, we found this one on our drive out. An interesting museum and we had a lot of fun watching one of the planes doing circuits around the runway. Thanks Team Horizons for maintaining this old hide. Domsky
#7937Day four of our exploration through the region, aiming to find more LGAs between Bega, Cooma, Tumut, Wagga and Dubbo. Were starting the way home today, driving Wagga to Dubbo, well cache until we run out of light or energyAnother old school cacheThanks for the cache!
#7938Day four of our Southern NSW trip. Heading north, Wagga Wagga > DubboAn early start today and some maccas for breaky and were on the road, targetting whatever DTs, attributes and types and LGAs we want! end of copy paste Came into Temora for the LGA and a couple of pre 07 caches for a challenge. Nabbed a bunch and a few other trads as well! Surprisingly this one has lasted so long, still in ok condition but the plastic is starting to deteriorate TNLN SL!Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Team Horizons
Just paying a quick visit to Temora with ilook4geo and adding to our cache finds for the area. Found this cache without too much trouble. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache go to TeamHorizons.

Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Wending our way towards Canberra for the Mega. after staying a couple of days in Wagga Wagga, today we moved to Temora to visit muggle friends.Once set up we headed off to explore town and buy green ribbon for the Mega.TFTC Team Horizons
An early morning start after our overnight stay. I am traveling with my friends, hatzofff, RoddyC, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947. We are signing all logs as "5 for QLD: to save space. All caches were found, signed and replaced as foundIt is very warm weather, but we are having fun finding different caches.
We are one our way to Adelaide for the leap Year Mega. After an early start from our overnight accommodation, we set off to find the caches on our target list. All caches were found and signed as "5 for QLD" for our traveling group of hatzofff (myself), RoddyC, Imbunda, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947.Our third day on the road and we are in Central NSW.
Heading to SA for the Mega event with geo friends and zigzagging our way around the countryside to grab a few LGA's and some targeted caches for a challenge or two. Staying at some lovely country towns and enjoying the local history in each place we ventured. To save space on log sheets, we used our team name of 5 for QLD.Most caches found were in good condition and a credit to the owners who have been maintaining them.Thank you for placing this cache for our benefit and enjoyment.
TFTC smile 18419 ?? Out and about on a lovely day ?? having a great time finding a few caches heading to Adelaide for a few weeks then on our way to Canberra . Signing as 5 for QLD - Hatzofff Snickersallan RoddyC Imbunda. What a great team we made and lots of laughter and funThank you Team Horizons for placing this cache for our enjoyment ??????
A Leap Year Mega draws us to Adelaide. Today's our intrepid group has our third full day of caching. We are using the Acronym 5 for QLD to sign the log sheets. Most of the caches this day were nice quick finds. And so happily I say that the logs were signed and caches replaced as found on this day, 22nd February 2024. TFTC, Team Horizons.
On a a road trip from west to east and back again this summer, we stopped for the night in Temora. Exploring around town a little this afternoon, we found our way out to the aviation field where we watched a couple of gliders land before heading over to GZ to claim another smiley on town. Thanks for the hide here Team Horizons
A loose plan was hatched for a 3-week road trip with RoamingHowie to explore locations in Country NSW wed not been to before and of course, find a cache here and there.DAY FIFTEEN: Crossing back through Temora, this time towards Cootamundra, then Bethungra, Junee and Wagga Wagga. Weve seen villages where properties back onto canals so they can have their boats at the ready. But have never seen residential houses with hangers in the backyard, which back onto a taxiway so the owners can go for a quick flight. How bizarre! Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Team Horizons ~~
It was time for the traditional post Christmas road trip. The stockings were emptied of presents, feasts were devoured and great times were had with family and friends. Now to get away!Day 15:After another swim in the mineral pools it was off further south towards Wagga Wagga, making a few stops along the way. What a cool area with all these homes with hangers backing onto the airport. It felt a bit awkward parking out the front of someones house with their front windows staring straight at GZ, but we made quick work of it and got out of there! Thanks Team Horizons for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. 09:38, 22 November, 2023. #2319.On our way home to Melbourne by the scenic route after a week visiting family in the Hunter Valley, we were here to visit the Aviation Museum, so spent the night in the SkyLodge last night. We would have had a crack at this last night, but got here too late. All good, we had a bit of time to kill before the Museum opened so what better way to spend some of it than finding a cache. The weather was perfect for a walk, before the day started to warm up and the cache was a quick find. The cache is in good condition. TNLNSL. TFTC Team Horizons.
Quick find cleaning up Temora of caches. We confused the volunteer behind the desk. They'll remember next time.Having a great road trip with drobbonz kimmy533 and our muggle. Tftc
Today we explored Temora and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. We enjoyed travelling through the countryside and visiting new, to us, locations. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. It was great to find another old cache in this area! Many thanks to all CO's for your cache placement.
A quick early morning grab prior to visiting the nearby museum. TFTC Team_Horizons

Day five on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are heading to Cowra and back. Today we spent around Temora.
After spending ages looking at the real articles, we walked up the road to sign the cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

#21009. Day 5 of a short holiday over the border in NSW with Robmc and the geodoggies. Now at Temora for 2 nights. The forecast for today was dreadful and indeed we awoke to wet surrounds and grey skies. To our surprise we soon had blue skies and sunshine, but it did remain very windy. Staying out at the airport and hoping to see some action in the skies.
Have never been to Temora before and am amazed that it is such a huge town with so many great old buildings and grand churches.
Lived on the RAAF Base at Wagga a long time ago and love seeing and hearing the planes so we will definitely be back at another time for an air show some time.
Thanks Team Horizons

Found with [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H) . We stopped here to visit the museum - well worth it - and afterwards we went for this cache. We walked to GZ and soon spotted the hide. Log signed and all replaced and we headed back to the car and continued on our way. TFTC.
Out wit Trodectus visiting the museum, this was on the radar, so a short walk to GZ and had CIH. Log signed and returned. TFTC

We had planned a road trip to Queensland to visit family in 2021, but our travel plans were stalled due to border closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the world was trying to get back to a semi normal state, we decided to have another go at getting away from the cold and head up north for some sunshine and warmth. Day 1 of our trip took us through many regions of NSW where we picked up some caches on our way through, and this was one of them. Apologies for the generic log, but thank you to all the cache owners for the placements.
TFTC from the Kayakviking!
Stayed at the airport hotel. Quick find on way home. Cheers

We decided to leave Wagga earlier than planned, was not happy with the showgrounds, So Mrs Snakepitter decied on Temora. What a great plan. Arrived at the free camp, setup, then got the bikes down off the bike rack and had a ride around town and up to the lake. Did a few Klm, and nearly got through before the drizzle came.
Thanks Team Horizons for the caches.

Total Cache Finds 12386,
This is one of the caches we targeted and found thankyou for giving us the opportunity to explore. We are now heading home to Queensland after attending the Wangaratta event . Staying in Temora for a couple of days to do some caching. Interesting concept having the hangar homes.
Quite an easy find in the finish, although the GPS was all over the place. Cache is in good condition. Signed and replaced. Thanks for placing the cache
Nice easy find late afternoon so not many muggles around. Picked up the two trackables. TFTC
First for the morning. A good size, and a drive-by. You can’t ask for more than that.
My father used to fly bombers in the UK during WW2.

Our first day in Temora started with a bit of nostalgia for Mrs Ski. When she was a child her granddad used to have horses. Some were for the kids, pony club, showing and eventing, a few were racehorses and a few were trotters. As her grandad did most of the training, seeing the blokes out this morning in the jinkers and putting the pacers thru their laps brought back many memories. Temora is a lovely little town, and after finding as many caches as we could we enjoyed a stroll around town looking at all the grand old buildings, and then had lunch in one of the many little cafes. The locals were happy to yarn and share some stories with us.
We’ve had an enjoyable stay here and would like to say thank# to the CO’s who’ve put out a variety of cache types for us to find, and shown us some of the highlights of the area. We intend to come back and revisit.

***Catching up on my now famous logging backlog, some going back a number of years.?? It started as a series of unfortunate events and went from there... Only seem to manage sporadic bursts so it's been a long haul project for me. *This tardiness in no way reflects the quality of the hide or the enjoyment of the find.*Apologies to COs for the late logs.*The date of this log entry is the date I actually visited your cache.****************************************** Absolutely ecstatic to be on another geo road trip after a covid induced drought on travel! YAY!??Being from Queensland, I know I'm taking a chance on getting back in again, but nothing ventured, nothing gained!?? Did get back without dramas so that was the icing on the cake after a great trip.My aim this time was to get to Ballarat for the Geotour, events and catch up with friends. (Deferred twice already!) Afterwards return home via the Paddle Steamer? series near Mildura to do what I can of them before I have to scoot home. ?? ??I'm also trying to cache in as many LGAs as possible en route and avoid major centres further east being a new game plan atm. Also have to keep up to date with changing border restrictions in case of having to abandon all plans and make a desperate dash home,????? so that adds an unusual layer of challenge to this trip.??This cache...which challenge/ why??LGA challenge Scooting home on the return journey now and wanted a cache in this LGA so I picked this one. Trundled in and made a quick find. All good here.Mum would have loved the museum and would have taken a flight in the spitfire too. She served as a mechanic in WW2 in the UK servicng and repairing various aircraft engines. I do remember something about goblin engines on her service record which I think went in Spitfires and Vampires? I remember she was pretty keen on any airshows that were on and she had a ball at them, getting in and talking technical with people while the rest of us stood by.??TFTC??
Aquilus1, Tankengine, Joolay and I were on a road trip to Temora with half of Canberra to attend a Creation Celebration Event.
The day was awesome, with lots of laughs and great caching had. The event was fantastic! We had the yummiest sausage sandwiches, great coffee and entertainment.
This cache: A nice quick find on the way back out. Tftc Tam Horizons!!!

The traffic along this road was very busy due to the air show but I did manage to find this cache quickly, thanks to good coords, whilst Muggle a Hubby turned the car around to continue our journey from West Wyalong to Henty
Quick find thanx to a muppet. On our way to the museum, then going our separate ways afterwards. Tftc
TFTC what a surprise today, spectacular air show. Quick find. Didn’t go into the museum, next time.
I'm sure the cars driving in past us thought I was having a little wee stop! The things we do for caching. Tftc
I was disappointed that I was in Temora on one of the only days the Aviation Museum was closed, especially after checking their website and seeing that it is one of only FOUR days in the entire year they are closed.... just my luck!
But, this 2005 cache was still calling my name, so I swung past to check it out. Found it completely uncovered, in-fact I am surprised it hasn't gone missing, I assume the house opposite knows about it! Great to see it still kicking on after all these years, I assume this area has changed a lot since it's placement!

A full day's caching mission with StrangeTrousers, Joolay and DarkSideDan to Temora and back to Canberra. After attending today's CITO, we completed the Dedicated Adventure Lab in town, then headed out to drive the Different series, then did the Lake walk Adventure Lab. This was followed by grabbing most of the northern caches in town, before heading home again via Galong. Cache easily found. TFTC.

Found this on the way home from Condobolin, after a few days of checking on family.
Called in and collected this, it was a quick find and all was good with it. Next we headed into town for a nice warm and yummy lunch at the bakery.
Found it, signed the log, replaced it. then off to lunch.
Thanks Johno Mawbs for this cache. Lil Donna

As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

A Fav for the WAR BIRD. Many cache owners are already aware: As per Groundspeak guidelines, I am claiming find because physically found under TeamOzcat. I undertake this not for disinterested statistical purposes, but because of inability to revisit this cache, and/or because it's so damn confusing when viewing the local district geocache maps. I sincerely thank all CO's for time and effort in placement of their caches. Cheers Reg.
Was here a few years back when the FA18's were flying. I wish that would happen again one day. I will make sure my partner and l attend. Left a TB for someone. Cache found in good condition
