As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Arrived at location and found the area fenced off and contruction on a play ground underway. I assume that by the lack of recent finds this one must be out of action at the moment.

The council have decided to upgrade the playground. Must be an election on!
They have bulldozed the GZ and this cache is gone.

This series could be done on 3 clues but not 2 so I will have to re activate one of them shortly.

This one is disabled until its fixed. Hopefully not long.

The area seems to be recently dug up by the BCC.

[Found at 18:05. My find number 43. This is my second in this series. Fire in the hole, ]dedicated to Indian restaurant[, S-bend. Are you sure you want me to put my hand down the toilet? Out popped hand with cache firmly gripped and not too much brown stuff stuck to my arm. TNLNSL. TFTC.]

Visited this one this afternoon with the Nanks. Now hooked on the series. I suspect it will take a while though. Took whistle left sharpener. TFTC

THENANKS in tandem with the HappyHarries for a lovely ride in the park (around and around in circles) "Surely it couldn't be in there! ...... Could it?" SurprisedYep it could! Big GrinFelt more than a little dodgy retrieving the cache. I think my arm did an s-bend. Lucky we had 4 kids with us! At least we've started the series now. We put a sharpener in the cache and got kids to carefully replace it. TFTC

Like the clue says, we knew where it was but it was just a little hard to get to as there were a few muggles about... we made a quick call to TGF helpline to verify we were correct and then set about devising a cunning plan to snatch the cache....

Our little plan worked a treat as we retrieved the cache, made a quick entry and had it replaced in no time.

Thanks for the cache.

Easy find - the Geokid came in handy to help us blend in with the muggles. Took nothing and left a toy bracelet. SL. TFTC.

Well we tried this one about 2 weeks ago but it was surrounded by Muggles at a Green Day!! Did not even attempt it. Then today when we found the cache I am so glad we gave up last time. There is no way we could have found this surrounded by Muggles. We had to be in stealth mode as it was. Cache very empty!! Thank heaven someone had been there just this morning and a bracelet was left. Two Geo kids have to share!! We took bracelet and left screw driver and a whistle.

We stopped at the local park after just completing "Bellmont Bushland".
Whilst sipping my coffee I started to muck around on the GPSr and noticed there was one less than 15 meters from where we were.

Found it early so we quickly re-placed it and called the kids over.
Boy talk about piece of cake.. They found it in no time at all. To their surprise "Hey there's no treasure in this one.."
which was quickly followed by more play time on the swings and treasureless hands quickly forgotten.

Enjoyed the area. Kids had a play and kick of the ball.

Problem is now I am compeled to complete the series..

Found this one easily, was surprised there were no muggles about being such a beautiful day. Left Calling Card and signed log..

Mr 8 found this one. Fortunately we have a few kids in our crew who make it easy to fit in with this sort of site. Mind you, their loud yells and pointing often make the find a little hard to disquise.

Hmmm, how to look like you're not doing anything out of the ordinary! Kids would have been helpful here, alas, we have none, so The 1st Lady did her best impression of kids and had a great time creating a diversion. Hehehe. TNLNSL

Thanx for the traditional find Meeka.

I got muggled at this one....but even before I started looking..... While I was doing "Your Kidding" some 500m away, a family rode past on mountain bikes...I didnt really take any notice of them until I saw them again at GZ taking a break. I figured I'd just get a drink at the bubbler and come back after they left, but the Dad walked up to me and asked if I was doing some Orienteering... He had noticed the GPS earlier and I said "sort of...Geocaching actually" and his response was "Oh yeah, I read about that last week in an adventure magazine". So we spent the next 5 mins discussing Geocaching until the kids were keen to move on. Once they left I was able to have a search in a muggle free zone at about 4pm.

Co-ords noted for the rest of the series.

19:28hrs Not a muggle insight and new exactly where to look for this one.

Nobody around so I had an easy find.

TNLN. Thanks Meeka for an easy one.

Last of six finds for the night. Actually, there are two places it could have been at GZ, and I checked both of them (and then some other less likely places). I found it at 2115 in the first place I looked, but not the first time I looked there! [B)] Note to self: look more thoroughly! The good thing about caching at night is that there are no muggles about to hinder your search, especially at this type of GZ. In fact, for a lone male, this is the only time to do a cache at this type of GZ. This one is really a straight traditional, but it's listed as a multi--it's usually the other way around: a multi being listed as a traditional. Thanks to Meeka for the challenge and the cache.

Muggle central alright. Did you know I work for the council and I was out measuring up for some new equipment? Well that was my story… I think it worked [8)]
Found: 13:30

Have you ever cached under the cache owner's watchful eye? A little nerve racking...but it can sort of be fun when playing 'hot and cold' with Meeka Smile

Great hiding spot. Only just got the cache returned when muggles appeared. For this cache...you need muggle free time Smile

Thanks again Meeka Smile

Amazing how some caches just don't seem to want to be found! This was my third attempt to find this cache (if you don't count two visits to my local cemetery at Morningside and a visit to THE SWAMP in Minippi parklands).
I looked in the obvious spot both previous visits and didn't find the loot. Strange how when you have looked everywhere you keep looking in the same spots you have already checked in the hope that by some magic what you seek has appeared. Only this time something had appeared - the cache Big Grin

"IF" is as ususal correct and the co-ordinates should in fact be S27 29.819 E153 06.529.
I have asked i-riblit to update so future cachers won't end up in the swamp.
Thanks IF

Having had plenty of time to look over this area the other day, I had my suspicions as to where it was... they turned out to be correct & cache was retrieved quickly today as we had the area to ourselves. TFTC.

15-Dec-05
Just as I arrived at the area so did a lady and her small child. I tried to wait them out but after 30 minutes I ran out of time. I'll be back later & will look forward to a chance to actually look for the cache then.

09-Dec-05
In the end relatively easy to find. Fortunately it was deserted when I was there because I can see no way you could retrieve this undetected if even only one other person was there. SL. TFTC.

Went to do this one today - it took us to a to a place popular with people alright - a cemetery - but we figured not such a popular place for kids and bikes - now I get home and read the updated co-ordinates - will be out again soon to tackle this one.

07-Dec-05
Was with geoforce5 & we were similarly confused as the cemetery didn't seem such a good place to bring the geohounds & the kids with their bikes. LOL.

If you have been to the listed coordinates and are having trouble locating the cache it is because the listed coordinates are incorrect.
The correct location is S27 29.819 E153 06.529.
Cache is in place and secure.
Cache listing is awaitng an update.
