Not sure when or how I solved this puzzle, but I was nearby watching my son run and saw it was solved so stopped to grab it, I was looking on the wrong side at first but once on the right side it was a quick find. Thanks for the cache Sky Dog tnln replaced as found sl
Solved this one a little while ago and was out here today for a run. Guessed wrong side to start with but thought about it and soon had in hand. Opened the log straight to an 8 year old entry from the parents/grandparents of LegLads, Mr & Mrs Fish. Everything in good condition thanks for a great adventure.
Now this is my kind of cache! I’m a professional musician myself and have taught classical guitar theory for 13 years, and I’m ashamed to admit I still needed help from the CO as the answers I kept coming back with never satisfied the geochecker! Turns out I was framing the coordinates wrong, nothing wrong with my conversion formula
When I got to the cache I almost accessed from a really stupid spot that would have made for a lot more bush bashing than necessary but I quickly realigned
Nice big regular cache I love it! Left a Kinder Surprise toy and I almost took the 27 Club guitar pick but it had geocache numbers on it and was located in the log book bag so I thought it may have been necessary
Signed and returned where found; TFTC Sky Dog, this was a really fun cache! Please keep hiding more like this! A favourite point from me!

Visiting the family who live in this area, we had decided to solve this puzzle a long time ago.
Since we both read music, the puzzle fell out very quickly, and the hint was an extra bonus along the way.
A sunny and very windy morning, and a lovely walk down the hill to GZ.
The coordinates where accurate, and we took a guess as to which side of the Trail we should be searching, and within a moment, soon had the hide in our hands.
Thanks Sky Dog!

An interesting puzzle which a musical person helped me solve. A nice bushwalk to GZ. The etrex counted down to 0m close to the track. I chose to spend 15 minutes scrambling around the wrong side of the track. Then realised that the other side had better options for a hide and soon had CIH. TFTC and puzzle Sky Dog
I’ve had this puzzle on my map for some time and I could never seen to crack one part of the puzzle, every time I attempted to have a go at it the checker would give me the red light.
Until one day I had the green light and off I went to have a look. There are a lot of places to hide a cache here, I searched thoroughly in one area before heading to another area and stumbling on to the cache!
Thank you for the cache!

Fantastic concept and hide. I really enjoyed completing this cache. Fantastic weather today and the location was great. TFTC
Knowing I'd be in the area with my son's cricket, I solved a number fo puzzles over the last week. This was the first I tried to find, and sadly I gave up. Later in the day I was talking with the CO of some nearby caches, and I mentioned that I thought this might be missing. He assured me he thought it was still in play and something he said caused me to rethink my approach.
Upon returning I made the find with little trouble (albeit struggling to understand how I'd missed it earlier - I confess I was having a bit fo a shocker today). I enjoyed the puzzle and loved the solid container. TFTC.

I must have solved this about six years ago.
A trip across town was a great chance to find it.
Google maps recommended driving to gz which - it became clear - was not possible.
This was a great hide and I only wish I had the time to read through the logs.

Couldn't get the checker to agree with me even though I couldn't find out where I went wrong in the conversion. Went to the spot anyway. Searched for a while and found it just around the corner from where it was directing me. What a beautiful spot. The birds are chirping. Love the container. TFTC
We needed to find a Mystery Cache today as a qualifying towards a daily Mystery Cache Challenge Cache, and so last night we set about solving this one. With one of us being a musician it didn't take long to work out the numbers required - nifty idea re the octaves! This morning with our GPS updated with the corrected co-ordinates this was our first cache to search for - we both search on different sides of the track and so it wasn't long before the nicely hidden cache was located. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and for the puzzle and greetings from Zimbabwe
A smattering of primary school music many years ago was enough to break the ice and, ultimately, yield some numbers. That was long ago. We took a rare trip to the shire today and went around in circles as car nav led us up the garden path ,more than once. We took control ad found a questionable parking spot near a trail and headed off. This level, that level, there were so many choices. We looked in most of the wrong spots before taking a punt on another level and finding the well hidden container. Thanks Sky Dog.
Interesting winding paths and a bit spooky if you have a vivid imagination.

Just the one today - well also had a look at a problematic multi - before dinner with friends at their new abode. Doesn't have the view they used to have. Pity that.
That's what happens when you downsize after children start moving out. Was that a hint for my Geokids?
As another finder noted, the checker said I was within 25 feet. Great. Fun puzzle, though.
Parked about 600 metres from my GZ and walked there.
Got close and... well a choice of hide areas. Of course I picked the wrong one first, getting myself in a few slightly higher than recommended terrain. Checked a few logs - well that suggests the other area.
So relocated and had CIH within a minute! Typical. Oh look, the iPhone has me at 1 metre!
Cache in good condition.
Completed signing duties and replaced.
Nice walk and hide. Now for the uphill bit...
Gets a favourite.

This was a tricky one......I read music so had no trouble plotting the notes and turning them into coords but I ended up in someone’s back yard!
Again and again I looked at the puzzle and just couldn’t work out how to tweak it.
A tiny nudge from the CO gave me the info I needed to see what needed to be done to change those last two notes to numbers.
A hot day today and I’m glad GZ wasn’t much further down or I’d have struggled to get back up.
It’s a lovely piece of bushland and even though my iPhone was struggling to suggest which side of the path I should look, I found it on the second area I checked

2nd of 2 DNFs (& 4 finds) today - Bankstown, Barden Ridge , Sutherland, Gymea, Croydon Park
Decided to head south today - tried to get 5, but a couple of tricky DNFs spoiled the party.
"Twelve" was the first of these DNFs, but then I got back into the smileys at "aussie rd reserve walk". I looked for another option and this recently solved puzzle seemed OK. The trip to GZ didn't look too far...
...but I hadn't come prepared. I was in thongs and the concrete path I started following soon was nowhere near the path on my map. So I didn't trust it was the right way. I followed another path more in line with the path on my map, but this also started going off in the wrong direction. So I bushbashed down a hill and eventually rejoined a concrete path.
This I followed to GZ. Up to another level and tried several hiding spots along. But no cache - just not having a good day today. Might need to contact some past finders for tips. The checker did say I was only correct within 25 feet, which doesn't bring a whole lot of confidence.
I followed the path back up to the top (now I know I could have stayed on it) and then went to my next cache, "The Village".

I first started to try and solve this musical mystery a while ago. Having a little knowledge of music, I thought it would be easy. It wasn't. There were simply 'too many notes' and I wasn't exactly sure what to do with them all. So I needed to get a bit of help and finally it all fell into place. That was like sweet music to my ears.
So then I had to head off towards gz. Wasn't exactly sure how to get there but I parked the car a bit away and had a nice walk down through the bush. There were far more twists and turns than I was expecting - it would be easy to get lost here.
Finally I reached gz. I hopped down and looked ahead, to the right, to the left, but all with no luck. I ended up making this a lot more difficult then it needed to be, as after a while I looked back over to where I had come from - and there was the cache. If only I had looked there right from the start. Opened up the very large cache and saw that it hadn't been found for a while. I'm finally getting around to it now. TFTC

Found under the watchful eye of Seemyshell on a rather warm summers day. The trek down was nice AND I didn't fall over at GZ (yay!!!). Lovely placement and a great size cache. Many thanks!!
Finally decided to work on Muso after having solved other puzzle caches recently, and was on a roll. With a little help from a previous finder, I soon worked out what to do and had the coords ready to search for the cache.
There was a break in the weather after lots of rain, but just as I parked the car, the heavens opened up again! Oh well, off I go along a path I frequently cycle along. Unfortunately I took a turn off the track too early and bush bashed my way to GZ. This had me all over the place, despite assurances this was an easy find!
With a little help from PAF, I found this good sized cache in a lovely place with the sound of running water nearby. Swapped some TBs and then back to my car by an easier path - the one that was already there!
TFTC. A good puzzle to solve for someone who isn't musically trained. A beautiful area surrounding GZ. #241

#539 solved the puzzle at work and decided to go get it on New Years Day while wandering around finding moveables around Sutherland with alnic39. Al made a quick find once we worked out the right level I went the wrong way. Thanks for the puzzle cache
I would love to come back to this area in the rain and see the water cascading over the rocks. Have solved this cache by other means and was soon wondering down the concrete path which was good for my Sore knee and then over and around rocks in the bush spent for about 40 minutes looking for the cache just as the light faded. A favourite is being awarded for such a lovely spot and getting to read some old records. Tftc tnln

We worked out the final coordinates probably 2 years ago but have not been back until now. It was OK getting to GZ but we knew the walk back in the heat would not be so enjoyable. The GPS was a bit jumpy, but when I checked a likely place I spied the container, although I had been expecting to remove a stone door. This is a really good cache, great puzzle and top final location. Thanks to Sky Dog for a great hide, a favourite of ours even on a hot day.
On a sunny Sunday morning, after finding cache #200, we immediately steamed up to number #201!
Both google maps and openstreetmap have only limited amount of this path in their maps, that gives me something to do thus afternoon!

Yes the GPS does get a bit jittery with all the tree cover. It was right where I originally thought it would be, but only found it after I'd actually given up.
Great little geocache. Solved this puzzle a few months ago with not many problems and today decided to a do a mystery double. A pleasant ride across the ridge with a DNF at woronora river bridge. Then a ride back down into woronora to find this one and as tu vu le ramoneur?.
I dilly dallied on the path for a while hoping my GPSr would settle but eventually started looking in earnest and soon had CIH. The trapdoor mentioned by others seems to have a disappeared but cache is still fairly well hidden and in good condition. Great to see the original logbook dating back to 2005. TFTC Sky dog.

Having seen puzzles of this style previously, it wasn't long before we had a set of coordinates and were were pleased when Geochecker gave its approval. Late in the afternoon today we headed off to look for this cache. We almost forgot what we had come for. This is a magical area - the scenery, the numerous types of birds in the trees above and the flora were superb and the quality paths made for safe access. It was a somewhat circuitous route to get from the car to GZ. Once there, were started to search. Our GPS units were being somewhat erratic in this area. We must have spent 30 minutes looking in all the nooks and crannies for the cache but without success. We were becoming disappointed as the light faded. However as we were about to leave, by luck we saw an access that we hadn't seen before. We just had to explore this one. To our delight and relief, a well constructed cache was found. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thank you Sky Dog for an enjoyable puzzle, for the very well hidden cache and for bringing us to this wonderful area. We ran out of time this afternoon, but we will return to the area next visit as there are other caches to be found.
I had been sitting on the coordinates for this one for a while after doing a bit of google research. A nearby soccer match gave us the perfect excuse for a short walk to the cache site and while Mr Pipersand went bush I decided to look somewhere else and was surprised by a lady asking if I was looking for frogs. A bit of a rethink led me to the cache site - love these type of containers. Took phone TB and quickly signed log before any more muggles turned up. A favourite point for an excellent puzzle. TFTC
Cool puzzle. I had some problems with the octaves but worked it out soon enough.
GZ is a great place. What an excellent piece of bushland, full of cockatoos squawking and mozzies attacking in squadrons. The GPSr was jumping around and, as others have mentioned, I started searching in the wrong area and needed to widen the search to find the cache. Nice big container too - I like the style.
Thanks Sky Dog. The cache is in good shape. Left maison phone TB, took racing car TB. Found at 1:18 pm.

TFTC Sky Dog,
I printed this cache out on the 23.02.12.
It caused me no end of trouble and even sent me to nana nel's grand son who reads sheet music to play the drums for help. He got me going in the right direction. I also found a set of notes for Piano that got me closer.
One day when we had visitors who had completed the cache, they saw the print out on the table and said I was close and only needed to forget about what I was doing.
A week later it all fel into place and for some time the coordinates for the resting place have been sitting on the bench. Today, all fell into place and i had the chance to visit GZ and Muggle Highway. Somehow I located the container and shared the spoils of the find with nana nel.
Visited a group of trackables. Worth a Favorite.

Solved the puzzle quickly without the help of a piano and headed to GZ - this is where it got tough for me! With GPS bouncing from 1m to 13m in any direction at any time and mozzies having a good munch on my bare legs, I was keen to get out quick, but not so! Persistence eventually paid off though and the large container finally found.
Gave this one to moonguides to solve! They weren't correct but succeeded in pointing me in the right direction!
Hopefully moonguides will log a 'found it' soon!

I have had this one on the "to do list" for a while waiting for some musical help as I know zero about reading music.
I spoke with a "musical" neighbor who gave me a couple of clues and from there was able to come up with some numbers that the checker said were good.
Direct from an FTF for Water Fire'ies. I lead the geowife towards the GZ co-ords. Spent a couple of minutes looking around and decided, looked and found it.
TN Left a small mandarin and some small pegs tied together. SL

Saw this mystery a ahile ago and realised it was a cache I needed on my Jasmar calendar. (Finding a cache in every month since Geocaching began in 2001). I am somewhat musical, but got a little stuck and after contacting the CO, was pushed the right way along, with valid GZ coords.
Today I was in the area and drove over to make the find. Took a wrong turn and ended up in the cemetery, which didn't give me a way in. So I parked and found another track. Walked along and then veered off and stumble my way down the rocky cliffs to GZ. Once there made the find and realised I didn't need to bush bash much at all...DOH! I SL, TNLN and replaced. Thanx SD for a cool mystery, loved it and a FAV point for cache and location, TFTC

Worked out the coordinates (with a bit of fine-tuning from a hint from Sat down - thanks!). Interestingly (or embarrassingly - that I tried?!), it sounds terrible when you try to play it on the piano...
Spent ages there a couple of days ago, decided I needed to borrow a GPS (thanks ShooterMcG!!!) and armed with that I found the cache in no time.
tronador's log also a good read.
Took The Zone GC to help it on its way.
Left nothing (but had a good chuckle at the cassette tape - you'll have to find it to see why!)

Cache # 1234
I was glad to find this cache personally. I was out with Canary and his boys today. I'd worked out the coordinates this morning for this before he picked m up. The coordinates took us to a likely location, although in the end they were about 9 metres out for us, today. But I found a likely spot to look by getting as close as I could to GZ without leaving the path, then took a look. A nice easy find that racked up a memorable number. Thanks

This puzzle took me too long to solve, a while ago.
Today we came down and grabbed it after checking a few more obvious spots we soon spotted a good hide and had cache in hand.

Mr red tag must admit to previously looking at this previously and ending up a little bemused......
This time, everything worked out correctly, as confirmed by the Geochecker !
A really pleasant meander to GZ, amongst the trees and calls or the parrots !
Thanks for the cool puzzle and cache, Sky Dog !

A great challenging Cache... had several people assist me decifer the notes, they advised me they were correct, but checking with the co ords checker.. it was wrong...
Got some assistance from a fellow cacher and decifered the code...
Cache in Hand... Top cache .. Thanks for this one.

Although I haven't got a musical bone in my body, I found it quite easy to decipher the notes using the net. I was excited to get the co ords only to find it was not the correct GZ. After studying the Muso notes again I realised my mistake. I had the correct co ords now which were confirmed by cache checker. I went to GZ a sneaky way without having to follow the whole track. Great location. Very serene. Easy find. Left Skippy and King Arthur TB's. Took pocket torch and Cloud nine GC. TFTC.
We really enjoyed this cache. What a clever idea. When I first looked at the music, I thought "No way" but luckily geoson came to the rescue and read it easily. Then to work out the co-ords, we made the same mistake several others had and google earthed the co-ords we had ,which showed a spot in a back yard in Woronora. Reading the logs further, we noticed a reference made to the fact that some of the notes are of a different octave. Once we realised what to do, we had the co-ords locked in.
A pleasant walk on an easy path from Sutherland and an easy find for us today. Not so easy to remove the trap door without losing it! On closing the heavy trapdoor it landed on my feet! Took a penknife, left a kiddie painting set and a Cloud 9 geocoin, a really colourful, pretty coin which hopefully will encourage others to visit this cache too. Thanks for this fun cache Skydog.

Another Shire cache on the list for way to long- until today!
I had looked at this a couple of times over the last couple of year without any success. I then resorted to a fellow musician cacher and what do you know- in about 2 minutes he had a solution to me (thanks Gribbly ).
Everything confirmed so this morning I was off. Only a shortish walk to GZ- I started down the obvious path but that didn't seem to be leading towards the cache so back and off on a side track. That didn't lead anywhere either so down to some small cliffs and I spotted the continuation of the main track I started on! So once that was rejoined I got to GZ and before long the cache was in hand.
Another nice little spot. Grabbed the two coins. TFTC!

The forecast storms in Sydney didn't eventuate yet, so time to escape the house and go caching. We've got a new family geo-dog, today was her first cache (no need any more to ask the unethusiastic kids at home if they want to come caching!).
A quick find. However, as is often the way, the previously deserted location was suddenly busy just as I had the cache out. No worries though, and re-hidden when it was quiet again.
Took the TB and left a couple of GCs.
Thanks for the cache!
best wishes,

After having got my daughters help with the music, i decoded and made my way to GZ. Trouble was that it was 7pm at night and dark. Still i was quite chuffed that i found the cache. Thanks for a memorable adventure and great hide.
Oooh! Big cache.
I have had the co-ords for Muso for near on a year and finally decided to have a go (actually, I had written the co-ords down and had only just found them again).
A muggy afternoon for a short walk to GZ. Let the GPSr settle and found the cache within a few minutes.
Left a torch/pen knife and took nothing.
Thanks for the hide. I have walked this path a number of times over the years prior to my GC adventures.

we really enjoyed the puzzle - been a long time since either of us have thought about "notes". Loved the park - we're visiting from NZ & there isn't much I envy you for but you're bike paths are brilliant whereas we take our chances on the roads with really agressive bad drivers & can't "get across" the bridge. tronador's story is a must read although it had me poking sticks in the wrong place & a dog walking muggle seemed very suspicious until I told her I was on a treasure hunt but it helped the rest of the team. Punk Zippy is still in residence - but so large & heavy we had to leave. NINO TFTC
I have looked at this one many times but music never been good at reading it so after Frippy had done the hard part I tagged along for a nice quick find of another quality Sky dog cache good work, I have been up here once with my bike but would much rather be going down than up swapped a geo pin for a spounge thanks...
Well, I'm definitely not a Muso. I had to go to the local Music shop and get a hand reading the notes, even then I still had one or two wrong. Using Google Earth I could only get into a backyard in Woronora, and I knew this was a waist of time.
I eventually traded clues with Skydog on another cache I completed and I was finally heading in the correct direction. Bushy2233 and I set off, with the GPS bouncing all over the shop, it was time to calibrate. Once that was sorted out I walked straight up to the goods following the GeoTrail. I thought it was going to be harder than that?? Unfortunately the trail right up to GZ is very obvious. I found a Geocoin in the cache that wasn't listed, so I will get this one back into circulation.
Thanks Skydog.

An easy puzzle for a muso! Finding the cache was much harder though due to poor GPS reception and after a long fruitless search, a phone call to a previous finder helped a lot. Thanks Usat31! Great spot, and as you say, good fun on a bike.

I'll admit it; I had a bit,OK, a lot of help on this. Thanks Ali. A bit of searching at the GZ to let the GPS settle down and I had this huge cache safely in my hands. Nice area, better than the backyard in the Woronora where my first calculations led me TNLN SL TFTC
Can't remember who or when the puzzle was solved, but it's been sitting in my GPSr for far too long. Today I was searching in the area and decided to give it a go. Got to GZ and glanced at a few possibilities. Some approaching muggles saw me look at the last log for inspiration. What an amazing tale tronador. Something clicked about what she said and within a minute I had the cache in hand. Signed the log and collected the pathtag. A fun puzzle.
On a beautiful winters day I headed off to GZ, after having puzzled over the musical notes for some time.
Having been pre-warned that the area may have quite a few muggles on weekends, and that I may have a hard time explaining what I was doing off the path rather than on, I took advantage of my holidays to do this mid week in the middle of the day.
Not a muggle in sight, well maybe just one, and he kept his head down and didn't give me a second look as I combed the area, searching high, searching low. (In fact, I think my head may have been down and my butt in the air when he walked past, hence his need to stay focused on the path ahead.) My story was ready though. I was doing research on the local plant species.
As time went on, I looked in every imaginable crevice, inspected every botanical specimen, cursed at my GPS for not deciding which way was which, scaled the cliff line
(as per usual), slipped and slid down sandy slopes and all for nothing. Nada, I couldn't find the stupid thing. This was supposed to be the easy part, I kept telling myself. I'd done the hard stuff, trying to read music when I knew very little at all.
As you can see my frustration levels were rising. And when I stepped on a branch to cross a small void, it broke, literally sending me sprawling across the gap until I landed face first on the path. I dusted myself off, looked at the rash on my arms from all the plants and inspected my twisted foot.
No harm done, I'm fairly unbreakable but with my tail between my legs, I decided that this was no longer any fun.
I needed to soothe my frazzled nerves, so I made a decision to head for the nearest cafe.
Back on terra firma, I retreated, only to look at the GPS and to see it mocking me by pointing somewhere it hadn't pointed before and with an almost 0 reading. 'Yeah right", I thought. So I walked over to where it pointed and saw something that looked very promising. I clambered once more into the void and spied a most likely hidey hole. With glee in my eye, I thought this has to be it.
In my sudden haste and hunger for a cache find, I forgot my frazzled nerves and heaved the trap door aside, not knowing my own strength, only to see it tumble away. Oh no! but look there was the cache and just think, I almost gave up.
Well out came that deceptively evil cache. But what was I going to do about the trap door.
Well, I was just going to have to go get it, somehow.
So I scrambled off after it. Reaching it was no problem but how was I going to get it back to wear it belonged? The thing weighed a tonne and I'm no weight lifter.
I managed to haul it back to where it belonged and as it rested precariously on a nearby stump I completed the caching business. I read the log book and left all rounders path tag.
I returned the cache to its hidey hole but I couldn't leave it like that. Getting that trap door to re-hide the cache was another feat in itself, it still weighed a tonne and I was having great difficulty trying to lift it so I could reposition it. In the end I just used as much brute force as I could muster, to jam a square peg into a round hole cause I just couldn't lift any more!
With a smile on my face and the stress levels much reduced, I limped my way back to civilisation.
The final co-ords were in a great place that I'd never been to before. Now I understand how people walked from down there, to up here.
Thanks skydog, for challenging my mental prowess, my agility and my non descript strength.

Fortunately, Lady Altaire can read music and we soon had this one deciphered and a likely spot plotted in the street directory. So it was on this sunny day we left the car and wended our way the short distance down the path. There were a few muggles also out a-wending however in between groups we were able to locate the cache after a short search. A nice puzzle and a nice cache location. We made no swaps, however we picked up the henley’s greetings geocoin.
Great idea, great cache - deserved to be the new home of a great coin. Loved this one
excellent cache, the notes don't make for great sound , when played on the ivory .
but as usual great Concept , and well though out cache by sky dog .

I solved the puzzle 6 months ago, but only came looking for the final today. A nice path leads to the cache and GPS points the way exactly. A great way to pass the day.
What a great cache.
A clever puzzle, a top cache container, a good hide in a beautiful spot I would never have discovered if it wasn't for caching.

What I love about being a cacher in "The Ilawarra" is the diversity of our caches. Just doing a multi you can be in the middle of the city with thousands of people around and then the next stage can take you into the middle of the bush with no one around.
It is good to see "The Shire" is catching on.[:p]
Had a great time doing this cache. We had to phone a "muso" friend to help work out the clues but well worth it. Even though it has been wet the track and the cache are in good order

Find 39 @ 4:45pm
Tried this one a couple of weeks ago & looked for about 2hrs with no luck at all. Compared co-ords with Webguy & found we had a slight error, though not enough to put us way off the mark. Still should have found it, given that GZ was at our feet.
Anyway, found within a minute of arriving at GZ today & a nice cache too. Took Nothing, Left Waterproof Matches.
Also took Nimble Needle TB & The Proud of Holland TB to help them on their way.

Yep 6.41 alright. There were lots of travel bugs but I tnln. Thanks skydog for more than the cache.
Found at 0641hrs on 16/03/2007 with Team Webguy and Team Wizbang. I had worked out the final GZ at home in Adelaide prior to my trip over, with email confirmation from Skydog.
I was lucky enough to meet him as he lent Webguy his boat so that we could do the excellent Woronora River Series. Embarrassingly, I didn't realise who he was until after we'd left with his boat.
Took nothing

6:41am!! What the hell??
Yes, it was 6:41am, I'm a long ways from home, I left home at 5am, why am I doing this to myself?? Before this I met 2 strange men in a carpark, but thats a different story....
I know nothing about music, apart from it can sometimes sound good. I was here with a couple of interstate imports who demanded to be driven around Sydney, so, here I was, in the weary morning light, looking for a SkyDog cache. it's easy to get to, and only took me 40 seconds to find it which was good, cause the mossies obviously did not get fed last night. Nice size container too.
No swaps for me, but dropped off a bug.
Cheers

With thanks to Sky Dog for the quick reply to my request for help, I made one mistake in my calculation. Got the right coords now but alas the cache may have been muggled. The likely place is empty, needs a check.

Very busy area, lots of muggles. I was looking in the right area, but wasn't close enough, cheekyfrogs came up with the goods first. Took Nothing, Left Random TB.
The Rats bought a few of his mates with him today. After deciphering the notes with a little help (cause the rats no nothing about music) we headed to GZ where we dodged the muggles and then come up with the cache. TNLN GPS was playing tricks here. Thanks for another one in the frenzy
A top cache this - all the good elements: A bit of cranial exercise, a great cache location that we wouldn't have found otherwise, and a pleasant walk, for the other sort of exercise.
The cache container is almost verging on 'large' size too.
I didn't originally search this location - as it looked like it might be full of those nasty creepy-crawlies that we have heard the Aussie bush is full of. TNLN, Thanks.

I had the wrong tune last time and ended up down in the valley, but this time had no trouble. Nice cache in a nice spot.
An intresting concept for a cache. Some pointers were required from the Sky Dog help line to correct some errors made with the calculations. Once on the right beat the cache was quickly located.
Thanks Sky Dog for a great cache and assistance.

There is a trick to this. The notes at the higher octave should not be decoded in the same way as the lower notes.
Nice way to spend Remembrance Day. I seem to always be out caching at this time of year and after a month's hiatus from local caching due to holidays and work commitments it was nice to get a FTF.
