Against my better judgement after reading other cacher's comments, I tried this one.
Hints and coordinates all came together with where I was looking, nothing!
It must be muggled, the only other explanation is that the coordinates are woefully out as I had 8 Sats during the hunt.
I first looked for the 1 L container, no luck.
I then started looking for a micro which the cache is listed as, still no luck. I spent almost an hour on this cache.
Had a bit to do with the bit of metal that the bit of metal at GZ sat on.

Passing by this morning and decided to find the location for this cache. Worked out the coordinates but was unable to locate the cache as per previous logs.
Came past here again this evening, and AusTrackers comments confirmed where I thought GZ to be also. Jumped the fence this time and searched all around, but didn't find the box.
We parked at the stated co-ords, then read the description which said you don't start here![?] Found the starting point easily using the street directory and solved the puzzle without any problems. Searched at GZ for quite a while before resorting to the hint which confirmed we were in the right place (we were already a bit unsure about whether we were looking for a 1 litre or a micro cache). After searching the log entries we found the note which explained that the cache is no longer at GZ!! A new-looking fence has been erected in the area we suspect the cache to be in. We looked all around but failed to find it. Have sent a photo to Janale Girls to check if we were on the right track.
Wow, just finding the starting point for this was a puzzle. I think I found the right spot, and the answers I got seemed to all be correct, but my final GZ just didn't add up to what the description said, so I didn't find the cache.
nice easy find, few muggles around due to beaut weather.SL

Nice day for a walk in the park. We got to the final location quickly but were unable to find the cache after half an hour of looking. oh well maybe next trip.

Found after a picnic in the park, Thanks for the cache, love the hunt finding the clues, Again we found lots of caches during July and have not logged them, Pretty sure it was the weekend of the 26th, TFTH TFTC Loved It.
Sorry for the delay in getting this one back up and running, but today was the day! No rain, just the right temperature and no muggles for a change. This is now a full sized cache which is about 5 metres behind where the micro was hidden. So its not on the large naval landmark now but in something more alive. Cache is well stocked with a new log book and we also placed the existing logs in there as well. Cheers Janale Girls
Everything is as it should be, plaque to work out the final co-ords where the cache is hidden. Thanks Ump.

Managed to find on second attempt Hornets had decided to make cache their home quite a shock
The newly retired and on a career break Janale Girls will be attending to this cache on Tuesday...stay tuned!
Got to the second coordinate looks like a sticker has been removed could'nt locate coordinates
This one was a little confusing at first. The bogus initial co-ords had me scratching until I read the notes a little closer. Now I have to go to a park ‘up the road’. Which way is ‘up’. With nothing else to go on, you would have to assume ‘up’ is north. As that was the opposite direction that I was heading, I chose to ignore the whole thing.
A couple of kays ‘down’ the road, I came across a park with military stuff in it and wondered if this is what I should be looking for? It was, and I soon located the plaque that contained the necessary information (Why weren’t the initial co-ords to this?)
The cache turned out to be located in a very appropriate area and I found it without any further drama. Cheers

Dropped in with the Janale Girls whilst they did a maintenance check. Great spot for a picnic and a walk along the beach.

Popped in for a quick look but could only find half a magnetic key holder and plastic bag with logs in it. Will replace with a new key holder, log and place back in original position.

found it on the second attempt (I must learn to read the cache page before going hunting)
There were 2 magnetic holders there......

Yay, my first find in Western Australia (from Queensland)
The site was easy to find from the clues, the cache itself took a little longer to find. The water was so incredibly blue today.

Had this worked out 6 months ago but muggles kept me from logging then. Easy find this time.

Nice stroll with the pooch, got coords and headed off, quiet today on nice park with a bit of rain about, found and signed log. TFTH
Found this after a fair bit of searching, maybe I should read some old logs beforehand.
Being a stranger it took me some time to find the park, once there found the neccessary info quickly and after a short walk the cache itself.

An interesting cache with some good history that is well worth remembering.
Found the cache OK but it is suffering from the damp...
the box has no top and the log is soaking wet.
Just dated and initialed the log and replaced.
Thanks for showing us this frontage,
The Coastway Cruisers.

After having driven past this park many times over the last few years, I now had a reason to call in. Decoding the clues was easy and the cache was found without trouble - the coords being very accurate. The object has just had a paint job, with the cache being lightly splattered. SL. Thanks to Jannine and Alex for the cache.
enjoyed finding the final co-ords, nobody around at this time of the day (11.30am) wish I had read the log from Janale Girls would have saved us some searching, still we got there in the end

On my way home from business appointments in Mandurah I checked this one. I have replaced the cache back where it was. Left hand front corner looking out to sea.
Checked the first WP but there were a few muggles parked close by which made it difficult to rumage through the bushes without it looking abit suspicious. A job for the weekend I think. Might just scrap the first 2 WP for now and start it from where the puzzle begins.
Cheers

We dropped by Saturday after spending the afternoon in Mandurah to replace the key case, however there were a bunch of muggles playing cricket right at GZ and climbing all over it. So we kept on driving, will attend to next time I'm down for work.

Returned to finish this cache which we started almost 4 months ago, now that it has been repaired. We were a little confused as to which bush the first waypoint was supposed to be in, but we managed to find it after a bit of a search.
Found the tree easily for the 2nd waypoint, but couldn't find anything there at all. I guess WP 2 has been muggled. Luckily we had a printout, so we walked over to the main feature in the area and did the puzzle and worked out the
final co-ordinates.
Spent some time searching GZ at WP 3 as we hadn't read the online note stating that the micro was in a ziplock bag and hidden under a rock. sigh. That's what you get for printing out page 1 only, and not page 2 as well. Nice parks for an afternoon walk, and we enjoyed the history and the puzzle element. Thanks for a pleasant hunt Janale Girls.

Magnetic keycase needs to be replaced however log and remainder of keycase is in a ziplock bag and hidden under the rock behind the wall behind the seat(almost directly below where it was hidden).
Will replace keyholder next time I am down that way for work.

Thanks for the great cache at a park we didn't know about, we've not long lived in the area so we're really enjoying caching again (it's been 6 months since our last cache)
Only had to come to back to final cache location...so took a punt it was still there. Found after a few minutes.
Left my inaugural micro calling card!
Thanks Girls.

Finally got around to fixing this one up, as it turns out the gardeners had been out in force and all the trees had been pruned etc. Soooo...its still a film canister but we moved it to a nearby bush in a plastic bag.
2nd WP was ok as well, although we moved it so that its against the tree trunk.
GZ all ok as well!
Happy Hunting!!

It appears that the first WP has gone missing, am temporarily disabling until we can get down there to check it out.

As I was in the area I also looked for the first waypoint as there was noone there when I passed it this time. Looked at all the suggested spots the hint gave and saw the results of a lot of searching but couldn't find it either.
Both times I have tried for the first waypoint GZ has been nearer the shelter and not the bush near the 2 closest choices of hiding spot the clue gives you. (BTW I counted five and half choices if the search area is expanded out to 20m) Today I had 2 GPS with me and they both gave the same GZ.
However I did find the micro is still in place at GZ when I checked on that.

The highs and lows of geocaching.
LOWS
1. WP#1 had me standing near the picnic bench but whispers had it near a stake. So I searched all around the one which was visible (by 5-10m from co-ords) with no luck.
2. Couldnt find cache at GZ
HIGHS
1. On the way out I noticed a park that may hold the answers to the questions. So many plaques though could I find the right one - YES!
2. Answered all the questions correctly and the co-ords had me in a possible hiding spot.
As Arnie once said "I'll be baaack"

Was really looking forward to this one.
I enjoy multi's and puzzles.
However it was not to be
We dug up the whole area - looked like a prairie dog site, however we could not find the micro. We checked everywhere close by. May need a hint or a check to say it is still there. Noticed fresh signs of digging by others.

We will go and do a maintenance check during the week. Thanks for the feedback.
DNF - In cahoots with Team Yabudarra again, but after the 4 of us searched high and dug low, we couldn't find the first waypoint. 2 GPSr's put us within 4m of the same spot, but no luck. Eventually gave up. No obvious spot where it would be. Will have to try again another day, as I enjoy multis.
A DNF for us today We had the same problem as Chiliwr with people camped at the first waypoint. So we decided to return another time.
But we have our suspicions on the final destination
Cheers, Team Beachbums

Couldn't get to WP1 due to muggles parked right next to the spot (literally) so went onto do other caches in the area. On the way through I worked out the probable clue waypoint so on the way back home went there after finding the muggles were still parked at WP1 a good 4 hours later. In fact there were a lot more of them.
Decoded the clues and found cache a short time later.
Thanks Janale Girls for the cache even though I couldn't do it the right way.

Very pleasant afternoon was spent at the coastal water for a change after dusty bushwalking in the hill. We took this good opportunity to do multi cache at the same time. We really enjoyed doing it at our leisure time. Very temptation to dip into the sparking blue water. Anyway, it was very interesting history to read the plaque, etc. Thank you for very pleasant multi cache and spot too.
Found the micro, Enjoyed multi cache and very interest about history and lovely area too. SL Thanks for organise the hunt.
Was fairly sure I knew where this was leading but went through the waypoints anyway. Found them all easily and worked out the puzzle without too much trouble. Arrived at GZ strarted looking. So much metal.... so little time! Found the cache eventually only to find I had been beaten to it by TLC!
Great cache, thanks for the 'local' hunt.

Sorry for the delay logging we forgot about this one .... after all it has been awhile.
Not sure of the date without a revisit but we think it was the 13th?
We did manage the FTF on this one and since it had been so long ago it was like our first cherry once again!
We obviously think alike ... as we headed to the first waypoint we passed the actual cache and we commented on it's likely location ... and we were right! .. great minds.
Thanx for the hunt Janale Girls
