Logs
After seeing the previous logs on this one, I should have went with a new log book and plastic log bag, but as I was going past pretty much I decided to duck in and see how bad this cache was. Firstly I recommend that geocachers approach this one from the Elderslie side, as the bridge over the river is still out due to flood damage and there is no sign of the council even bothering to repair it.
So I parked near the turf farm and headed on down to the cache. went off the track and reached GZ. I soon had the cache in hand but looking at its hiding spot I can see why this cache is ruined. It needs to hide in a more sheltered position thats for sure. To say the log book is saturated is an understatement. To even call it a log book now is wrong. Its more a lump of gooey paper pulp. Totally useless. The bag is had it as well, and the cache contents are soaked. The container for this cache is not even the water proof type, so it is not surprising, and looking at it hiding spot you can see why.
I had a receipt in my back pocket so I tore out a strip of paper to use as a log for now. But this cache needs totally replacing and a full rethink to its current resting place.
Once again I'll log a maintenance on this and try to contact the cache owner, otherwise it may as well be archived. Seems to be a number of neglected caches in the Camden area of late.

As per my previous found log, this cache is all but ruined. The log is a heart shaped lump of mush, the contents of the cache are soaked and the container is not really suited for geocaching as it is not real water proof. Hopefully the cache owner can fix this one up as it is in an interesting spot near the river here.
The log is completely saturated and cannot be signed. Apologies, I normally carry spares but today I wasn't. 2yo 'E' made it through the bush fairly easily (don't tell 'Y'). Thanyou for the cache
Found this one today. The place really is a challenge to get into. The cache needs some TLC, everything is damp and the heart log book has just about rotted away so I couldnt sign it. TFTC

We couldn't get across the river from the west side today, as the bridge was closed and barricaded due to flood damage.
Second attempt at this one: success! So many fallen trees in the area, I would not recommend that as the clue that you use to find it - certainly that led me astray last time I looked. The river is definitely your friend since your GPS will be more accurate with the tree clearings Thanks for the cache, great spot. Feels like a "secret garden" in there - although the terrain is a little too hairy for some of us
Found cache with no log book, left a love heart note pad with our lable in it, our 2nd visit with better luck.TFTC
After crashing around in the bushes I got my hands on this one. There is no log book inside and the other contents are a little damp.
I saw the remnants of the aforementioned 'V Party' - I bet they didn't sleep for days after drinking that lot!

We made our way from teh parking spot. Ahe track at first looked pretty good, then we crossed the bridge which wasa little out of alignment. After that we got off the main track and it soon started to get over grown. After a bit of ducking and jumping we got to GZ and had a search. We soon had CIH and realised we had dropped our pen on the way. Upon opening the cache it didn't as the log book is missing. Can the CO or next cacher please bring a spare log book. Contents are a little damp. Took a photo to prove our find and rehid.

No luck with this one. Evidence of high muggle activity at GZ, couldnt locate the cache, possibly muggled. It was fun bush bashing to the GZ though.
With wessiri and cav99, could not find cache, mess everywhere... Possibly muggled?
Went looking for this one with Geodog. It was all over the place. Moved it to under a log. Log book not found.
Great little trip with the geokiddies, although there is some 'rubbish' around that needed distracting from. Took nothing, great clue, every fallen gum tree was 'the' fallen one for the kids! Been super windy lately, so forget the cache, the highlight was all the fallen trees!
Lots of twigs and branches. We need to take care in this area with the snake season upon us. Not so safe for geodogs.
This credit goes to mrs Shesthers and her geo friend Adlyn there first ever cache well done to them
Wow nice walk on bridge and track off to rough track but a bit srubs bush to gz, phew found one as hide very well thanks
Bikerbuddy had already found this one, but suggested I should look for it while we were in the area today. Didn't take too long to find this one, thanks .
A different day and a different angle and an extra set of eyes put this one to rest. Glenwarra69 found the hidding spot as we looked near the other fallen trees in the area.
found this one today another dnf off my list now came in from a different angle this time and that made it much easier thanks
Thanks For The Cache casperluc
Got this one while out on a caching day with TeamBooo Little Booo and Boo's Dad
they had tried and failed to get this one from the other side to the way we come in today
pretty quick find today though
thanks

UP FROM WAGGA VISITING FRIENDS. THE HARDEST PART WAS FINDING OUR WAY IN TO GZ. ONCE WE WORKED OUR WAY IN AIT WAS A VEF. TFTC.
An interesting find! Scrambled through the vegitation and finally found it with geograndpa's help. Would have loved to see the other cacher that was out today! TFTC
A long search, I decifered the clue a little different to what it should have been, alas after time, found it, and the funny thing is, someone else had signed earlier that day... would have loved to see them for the help, anyway success is the end
Awesome, we found it without a working gps and while bushbashing wearing thongs.
A bit of bush bashing to find this one. Went on sunset and forgot the aeroguard so the mozzies got a free dinner.
TFTC. TLNL. SL.
There are some strange things in this cache.... needs a cleanout.. vegemite sachets, etc. Didn't have anything with us to do a clean up with.

Another excuse to get the geomutt to stretch her long legs. I think she enjoyed this one more than me.
it turned out to be a really easy find because the cache was exposed.
covered it back up the best i could

Have had several goes at this one and for mine this is the last.Too many junk users and dope smokers get in the bush in that area. One would not know what they would do.Could get bashed or end up floating in the river.NAH not for me. Gotcha16
Found and logged at15:40,
Just catching up on a few caches while in town

Parked on the west side of the river, at the park. Walked over the bridge, past a few kiddies swimming and fishing in the river. Brought back a few memories of my childhood. Found cache pretty easily. Thanx for bringing us here. Cheers
WanderingAus wandered by on day 128 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, and made a very quick and easy GAFF 0 find in a very nice area.
My find No 3072, LCC, TNLNSL, dropped Geocow TB (ref = TB1H42C) and my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC in for a visit before grabbing them back again.

Second attempt with this one.Like a Jungle in there.Did not find the Cache but did find a chap who said he had been in there for 20 years. no GPS he said. No worries i said, follow me, Took one step and he had disappeared in the undergrowth. Not for me. Maybe the next geocacher could help him. Gotcha16
My favourite for the day. I walked across the nepean river and followed the dirt path got to the fallen tree worked my way to the tree and found quickly. I stood there listening and watching the river could of been a million miles away thanks for bring me here TFTC
A dog's life indeed! The walk in was pretty easy, taking us past a few chairs by the side of the river where I imagine Cheech and Chong bong on. When we reached GZ we at first had the wrong doggy spot, but soon found it as the GPS settled. I imagine this spot would get any canine worth his flea powder in urination mode. Us humans, however, managed to keep ourselves under control. Took TB. Thanks
We think we just found a good spot for our next kayaking trip. A nice stroll along the river and we had it in hand fairly quickly. So much choice for the four legged friends! TFTC
Nice walk to GZ although it was a bit windy and in shorts and a short sleave shirt it was a little chilly. Once in the scrub I followed the track past a pile of rubbish and up the Geohighway. Luckily for me the Cache was partially exposed so I made a quick find.

Wasn't sure we'd picked the best route to get to this one but once at GZ we realised there wasn't really any easier way to get it.
Apart from the recent pile of rubbish on the way there this was a really nice spot thanks,

We didn't see one dog. Eventually found the big tree. TFTC

this was the second last for the day nice walk around the area and then found it thanks to the ever handy gps TFTC
in between rain belts we headed for this one. we didnt see any gangs i was kind of looking forward to a 'run in' with the 'cool kids' but we soon had the cache in hand and were heading out. a nice little hide in great little hideaway TFTC TN LN
The area is very dirty with lots of rubbish from the river and other means.
Might try another time.

And off we went. Not far away was the cache. Did our thing then bumbled back through! TN Left a cockroach SL TFTC Cheers........Gaztek
Stopped near the bridge and had lunch watching the locals jump off.

The 1st find for "its a dogs life..." in 2010. Great clues casperluc - thanks for the cache and the lovely views here on the banks of the Nepean, Left a smiley fridge magnet and took a Pterodactyl toy - seemed appropriate following out Avatar movie experience the night before .
Found on the way home, didn't need the GPS, just looked on Google satellite, Funny how some hard ones are easy and easy ones are hard ( you know what I mean).
FOund whilst on holidays in Sydney. Took Goldie and Chocolate Kangaroos for a trip to the Manning Valley.
This was our 2nd for the day on our way back home from the moives

Found a place where the teenagers hang out having grog. Other than that it was a gorgeous spot to take photos. Great hide. Lots of birds. TFTC.
This park has changed a bit since I lived here. As we walked along the track beside the river we found where the young ones go to get on the grog as the evidence was everywhere. Back tracking a bit we spotted the vague track that headed to the river and along to GZ.
Lots of bird life down here by the river.

Located 1545hrs after much searching. Glad J's birthday next Friday as he is getting a Garmin Etrex which will make life a lot easier than the car's TomTom (which is not much use for scrub bashing). Took bear, left soldier. TFTC
great adventure, few scratches and muddy shoes not lucky enough to find a penny.
Very nice Area up from gippsland with a mate ruraich took travel bug and taking it to gippsland
thanks once again DWHIRSCH

This was a great find in the end. A bit of bush bashing had to be done to get to cache. GPS was showing low batteries & jumping around, geo wife was about to give up & I was about to replace batteries when she yells out, found it. Left travel bug Curious Mouse in this one. TFLC / TFTH / SL
Found at 1135Hrs. Had been along the other side of the river lots of times but this was the first time on this side. TNLN. Thanks casperluc
Co cam at all, made it easy to find, once I got to the spot. Added some more permanent cam now.
This is what we like about geocaching never knew this place was there, what a lovely spot for people, ducks, and dogs. Now for the hunt I can add log walking to my geoskills.Geo wife led the way straight to it,.pointing arrow never let us down.
One thing through is it meant to be so out in the open like that?
Left smiley spring taken glass bread.replaced cache in exact same spot throw a bit more leaf and ground cover on it....TFTC

12:50 pm - This one brought back childhood memories - I'd forgotten this place existed as I don't live in Camden any more.
We walked the long way in from the baseball nets but it was great fun.

Father zucchini & a mob of kids needed to expend some energy after a huge Christmas lunch so went on the hunt for this cache. After a bum steer (gave them the wrong print out) they found it just on dark amid the hoards of mosquitos. Noticed that cache was left uncovered - not sure if it has been muggled but seemed OK.
Another cache that beat me. Very humid down by the river with the local lads jumping in from a huge rope swing. I am sure to back one day. Albida.
Found site ok, but sure was tricky to get my hands on it. Never knew that this construction was there and I have walked past before. Thanks for a good cach Casperluc. Garnets
Male Whipbirds were singing, a large flock of Cockies were foraging in the grass, and there were a lot of ducks on the Nepean this morning. Quick find this time, as we caught a glimpse of black. Now we know why we didn't find it last time. TNLN, our signature is a bit blurry - even though there was a break in the rain, it was still raining under the trees! Thank you for sharing this beautiful area and for the cache casperluc!
Great hide. Great directions. I should have come by kayak as I often paddle nearby. Took Romina the Beetle Bug and will take her for a holiday to the snow this weekend. Left nothing.
A bit damp today, however the dog enjoyed the hunt. My wife also did well finding both the possum in the nearby tree and also the cache. Deposited TB-Romina the Beetle Bug to enjoy the river views at this location.
