Logs
Fortunately had the ideal ToT at hand which was needed to access the cacheA few walkers out early but timing wasn't a problemLog signed and returned as foundMany thanx to Waterlogged
Found this one a little frustrating after we went for a cache with lots of favourites on our way home. The sign with all the details to help solve the location of the required tool has been painted over and when we searched through past logs that told us exactly where the tool should be it was still nowhere to be found. Eventually we improvised and the cache was opened with an improvised tool and the lived by motto of if nothing else works then hit it with a hammerAlthough we knew where the cache would be as soon as we got there and we managed to open it in the end, it was a little disappointing not to be able to do it the way CO intended. TFTC - maybe requires some adjusting.
Quick find with LittleLeah79 while in the area.Great cache... can see why it has lots of favourite points. Have another one!!TNLNSLTFTCTTFNBeaker DGS
In town with CaptainVimes for a work event (hers, not mine) and to find a few caches. Didn't need the tool which was lucky as the sign's been painted over. Thanks for the cache Waterlogged
Found the tool via some helpful comments. GPS was a bit off but my clued in fianc found the cache straight away. Very clever hide, TFTC!
Dont know where the tool is so couldnt open what I think is the slot for where the cache is being held.
After a reasonably early breakfast event, LB and I headed off to the Marion area to find a handful of caches.A cool cache hide and some interesting history to take in.TFTC WaterloggedKeep smiling
OMG this has been on my radar for such a long but it is extremely busy and the coordinates for the tool are completely painted over, but I still found the tool opposite side of the road under the rail. Absolutely love this cache.
Came with a previous finder for this one. She just stood back and smirked for a while, until we discovered the tool was not where it should have been. She goes to the car to find an alternative tool, I went back to the beginning and hung my head in defeat, what would you know, there it was on the ground. Approached GZ and soon had the cache in hand. Tool is now where it should have been. Thanks for the adventure!
MrSimber just waltzed straight up and found the cache. I was expecting to solve the puzzle for the extra bit of help but apparently that wasnt necessary! Signed and replaced.
Had a good 15 minute look around for the info but then realised that it had been painted over and then had a look at a recent activity lol to find the answers
Love, love, love. Did suspect the location but couldn't budge until we read activity log and located the tool. Dropped off trackable Ryng in the cache and dropped off a favourite point with it. TFTC.
Second time here ... and this time, with the helpful hint re tool location, we were able to get the cache. Such a cool one! TFTC
This is a great cache that has unfortunately been altered by some hasty council painters. Making the original puzzle near unsolvable.I first tried to locate this cache many years ago as a geokid, but I could never figure it out. I'm happy to say I have finally been able to complete it!Whomever was able to do this with pure brute force, I applaud you. However, I needed the tool.Stop reading here if you want to figure it out yourself (good luck): The tool is located under the handrail of the bridge across the road. Good luck!TFTC
So I went to GZ & identified where I thought the cache was. Then I extensively read the logs to identify the location of the tool - given the painted over information reducing the ability to solve it. Back over the road then I got some bad news and gave up the search. After moping for a while, I realised what else was I going to do with my time. So back to the hunt. I found the tool, over the road again, I retrieved the cache & added another log sheet. Signed and replaced the log. And closed the cache. I got lucky with most of my muggle evading occurring whilst retreating and hiding the tool as opposed to while actually accessing the cache. A great piece of history here & cleverly utilised. TFTC!
We are visiting Adelaide for a few days and staying at the caravan park not too far away from this one.
Seeing the number of favourite points it has, it was enticing to come for the search.
Our first venture led us to GZ, but with the required information, being fairly invisible, we resorted to checking in with a previous finder tob help us with some information.
Back again, two days later, we were able to sort our way into GZ and make a find.
A lovely urban and historic location here. Little Marion over the road was smiling for sure.
Thanks Waterlogged

Found tool after seeing a previous finders log (as I couldn’t decipher the coords). Knew straightaway what it was for. FP for a very well hidden cache.

Sparkie and Goldy had to alter our plans due to yesterday's bushfires in the hills.
Instead we went to the Marion area to celebrate Sparkie's 2000th cache find on a cache of her choosing.
She chose this one to be the milestone.
I had prepared the tool, which turned to be too small. So we went to nearby Bunnings to pick up another larger one.
A very cool, creative idea.
Thanks Waterlogged for this cache.
This cache brings Goldy's total find count to 2363 on the 15th of January 2023 with AussieSPARKIE.

Cool! I debated whether to use the tool to seal the cache but decided that I would as the use of the tool is half the fun. Could use an alternative method of locating it though, and a new log. TFTC!
I saw this one had a few FPs so I decided to make this my final destination before turning around and heading back to the car. I worked out quite quickly where I should focus my attention, but as others had found a tool was really needed to access the cache. I looked through previous logs and someone did note where to look for it and so I did. Yup - there it is! With the tool in hand the cache was retrieved. Nicely done. TFTC Waterlogged
After working out a replacement tool, geomum and I were able to retrieve the cache!! Thanks so much. Lovely spot
In Adelaide for a few days visiting family so not a lot of caching time. Went out briefly with geo daughter this afternoon. Lucky, as she knew to get the tool kit out of the hire car and did the deed.
Loved the cache. Thanks waterlogged for the cache.

Catching up on logging - A bunch of JMelb's family, including ourselves, have travelled over from Melbourne to Adelaide to visit family over here. Today we had a free day after GMelb had visited LifeFM and then morning tea as it was now raining. We decided to target favourited caches around West and South West Adelaide. This was next on the list. At GZ we were unable to find the info to begin with then we realised it had been painted over and was unable to be deciphered. We read back through logs and discovered where the tool was hidden and we were then able to unearth the cache. A fabulous cache hide which deserves another Favourite Point but also needs updating on the page as the info is no longer obtainable at GZ.

There was no way we were reading anything to obtain the coords for the tool due to the info being painted over but luckily someone had given away the location of the tool in previous logs and we were able to open this one. The last cacher to find this must've had a heap of spinach for breakfast as I (the jar opening specialist of our household) was unable to make it budge. The tool helped lots and before long, we were signing and returning for the next people.
TFTC!!

Found, thanks to the comments. Didn’t have a tool. Used frustrated brute force to open, as we were trying to break a cold streak. TFTC!!!

Found with NiciDanielle. Another of our "DNF's" from many years ago. I do understand how we didn't find this one before. Tricky hide, very cool cache. Tool wasn't needed due to my vice like grip strength . But seriously, the next person might need it. TFTC
Out for a Valentines cache with Geohubby [@Cachehunter2207](http://coord.info/PRDXTA3) thankfully hubby was able to provide a Valentines day gift by using his hand to open up the cache camo. Not sure why we found this so hard last time. Tftc fp awarded
Wow, what a great cache! I love creative ones like this. Had some help from the previous logs. FP awarded. TFTC
Had tried this one before but got rained out! Returned today while doing the multi walk. Took longer to wait out the muggles enjoying the walking track than to retrieve and sign Luckily I had my map and instructions for the multi as a cover

I will admit I didn't use the tool but used my hand. My new phone was a present and doesn't have a compass to put in coordinates so can't do multi and multi like caches. But I loved the history and this quiet area even on this mannish road. TFTC
After visiting 4 Mondays in a row to locate this darn tool, and having removed every spider Web "under" on both sides of the bridge, I devised my own plan...
Now have that little blighter... hopefully not too tight (felt similar to how I found it!)
The maths in the puzzle, still combubled me, coz info is painted over.. maybe a red herring!

Came back armed with the location of the tool
Such a cool cache!!
PS look in the handrail across the road and you will find the tool
Today me and my dad decided to spend the day in Marion shopping centre. After all the shopping we decided to find this cache.
Thank you for maintaining and placing this cache!
We really appreciate your effort!

Wow - What an amazing cache and well worth the award for the year. I knew where it was once I looked a the structure and it was a matter of grabbing the tool to open it. A quick find and well worth the effort! TNLN. Cheers.
That's was very cool. Tool is there and coords are easily found. I like this one very much. TFTC
Now staying in Brighton for a few days this morning Mr Felix headed out on his bike to tackle a few caches south of here, once he returned we grabbed lunch and 'the list' and off we set for a full days urban caching. (oh the fear)
This cache is odd in so many ways! We found the log and added our name. But it was difficult to find the tool so we used our own.

Found it. First find of the day. Current goal is to find caches with different icon of "Wonders of the World".
Today I went to Seacombe Gardens for an appointment, and tried two caches on my way back. Found both. This was the first one.
I tried at least 4 visits for this cache. Finally, today I signed the log book.
Excellent hide! No wonder so many favourite points.
Thanks for the cache, Waterlogged. One favourite point awarded.

Sadly we couldn’t find the tool that we needed today. The play is over painted and we can’t read the numbers. Will come and try another day.
Today, our home was getting boxed and packed up ready for our move to Brisbane. So after lunch, a new geocache was published south of the city, and hence presented an opportunity to take a break and grab a few last minute Adelaide vicinity geocaches during the afternoon. I ended up geocaching around quite a few of the southern coastal suburbs Marino and Seacliff, and then headed around Oaklands and Marion. I then had a final drive north to Grange finding a few target caches, before returning home.
After dinner and still with light about with daylight savings, jesswrigley and I then headed around North Adelaide's park lands to grab a few TOTT geocaches. It was a nice walk about this area as we enjoyed one of our last nights in Adelaide.
?? This cache was on my target priority/bucket list given the high number of Favourite Points.
Like others, this wasn't my first visit here today (second time), after the first time had me leave empty handed. The recent paint job has made it incredibly difficulty in reading the numbers, and so despite a search at my calculated coordinates for an available TOTT, I couldn't locate it.
So back again today with a pre-prepared TOTT, my hunch appeared to be correct, and after releasing the outer camouflage, I soon had access to the cache. A great cache hide indeed, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Waterlogged for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Although this cache can be found, a CO refresh on this one may be required.

Found it while completing the nearby AdventureLab. Great hide! Lots of ants around so didn't want to stop for long, fortunately it was an easier find than we anticipated TNLNSL TFTC
Great geo. Really enjoyed my walk along the concrete channel.
Wasn’t much room to log so I didn’t sign.

Catching up with late logs
A spur of the moment decision was made to head to South Australia as we had no work on for New Years Eve this year (first time in 23 years) and without any planning and so many unfound caches over here we decided to concentrate on Adventure Lab caches and anything else that popped up nearby.
We parked near this one and happy there were very few muggles around to interfere with our search. We had a rough idea of what would be required and it turned out we were right but we did not need a TOTT. We happily added our name to the log and re hid as it was.
Many thanks Waterlogged for a nice hide in a interesting location, a favorite point from us.

Not sure about the description but managed to find it without a tool. Perhaps the hard work was done for us but a clever hide! TFTC
A delightful morning out caching with Locus Cache.
This one came highly recommended and did not disappoint. I couldn't read the plate that held the answer for the tool location (and L.C. couldn't remember) so an improvised tool using a car Jack was employed and the logbook revealed.

After many attempts we finally found the tool!!! This had been on my list for a long time. TFTC
Well after struggling to read the required numbers and failing I just turned on my geocaching brain and quickly had the tool in hand. I’m not a weakling but the cache had me struggling to open it! Managed to get into it, signed the log, sealed the cache (hopefully a little looser then when found) and returned the tool.
Awesome hide, great camouflage!
Thanks for the cache

Found with Wal & Ol on a lovely Sunday afternoon out caching. We have had this on the list to return for a long time and today we were passing and Wal had only one tott in the car and it was perfect! TFTC.
On the way home with Pony1966, they'd done the legwork previously, which is fortunate as the information is impossible to read now. Great hidey, TFTC
What a cool idea, love the camo, glad to get a smiley for this one, cheers cobber.
After a while of trying the finance final found the right tool in the car to get into it great hide thanks for the caché
Read the previous logs to deduce where tool was hidden as from the numbers I could try to make out I was being sent almost 2km away so figured that was wrong.
Tool found easily by Geo-kids, crossed street and cache easily in hand.

Couldn't get the cache without tool and couldn't get tool because numbers for the coordinate puzzle are not readable due to having been painted over.
Took photos of the painted on plaques, will edit them on computer later and come back another day to try and retrieve cache once I can find tool.
Looks like a goodin!
Logging a DNF so I can remember to come back later!

wondering if their has been a paint job of late.... or I need new glasses.... lots of figures I couldn't clearly see... wonder if Mr Google could assist when at home?
Finally found it today after bringing the right tool for the job. Been here a few times before but finally got to it today. Rewarding ourselves with a coffee after this find. TFTC
Had to leave this one as time was scarce before the wind and rain moved in and I wanted to move on to a multi. Will return soon.
Today the team and I went out to help me reach 100 finds. This one was number 97. We ended up walking along the Sturt Drain for a while to pick up a few. All the metal sculptures of girls had ribbons in their hair today. TFTC Waterlogged.
MY 500TH!!!! Thanks for the cache! Giving this one a favourite point, very clever!!! Found with conardel at 1342 ️
Thanks for the cache, found with Webberg, who celebrated her 500th cache, with this one.
This was a cool cache by the way you found the spot to hide the container. I couldn't make any sense of the puzzle, so as I sat at the posted coordinates and searched the object in question, I concluded where the cache must be.
I would love to add a picture of the "tool" I used to access this, but that would be too much of a spoiler.
Thanks for the find.

Excellent cache. Perfect balance of puzzle solving and discovery. A clear favourite!!
Another spot we have wandered and came back on Christmas day assuming it might be a bit quieter to work out this cache. Not so quiet really today...... we had a group of guys standing at the corner and it sounded like they were ringing home for Christmas and wishing everyone in their family a good christmas, then we had a man in uniform who looked like he was looking for someone, with the police that close we decided to take an amble along the walkway and come back..
Go forward 15 minutes and the crowd had cleared, phew.
We decided what we needed to do, nipped off to the car for a makeshift tool, not quite what was required but it did the trick.
Soon had the cache in hand, guess this one won't get smuggled in a hurry.
Stamped the log book and replaced safe and sound as found. All in good condition, log book read a tad full but we found a spot.
There was one of those Marion statues watching from across the road too, they are everywhere.
Thanks Waterlogged for the cache and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family. TNLNSL
