Logs
As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

So I did it all, double checked everything. walked to GZ and searched and searched and searched!! even noticed the 'mound' which like a previous log mentioned was about 30m from my coords so thought YES!! but no.. I pulled that whole mound apart, and pissed off alot of mean spiders... but no find. I then checked and noticed the last log was over a year ago...so maybe its not my bad skills and its not there?
Thanks for the adventure anyway, did have fun getting the WPs.

Well where do I start.
A) all equipment (the 60CSX & the Nuvi760) was in perfect working order.
B) when Mr O & PJs are arguing over the calcs, what hope ...
C) the Prado was another great access tool.
We had fun dirving the extra +15kms, would have been better to see Mr PJ do the bush run.
The drive to the top of the hill is good, you will want plenty of clearence & have to make you own track. Be prepared for scratched paint work.
Thanks for the fun cache.

This turned out to be a comedy of errors. Never use a Nuvi when tracking to a waypoint - you could miss the right numbers and get the wrong numbers 50m away! It would've been even funnier had Mr Puddle Jumper gone for a 3km run into the middle of a paddock to find a concrete pole . Even funnier was NKJ's approach to GZ - can a Prado be classed a small 4WD? Found the cache some distance (30m) away from our worked coords - thankfully the hint was helpful. Thanks for an interesting circuit and the (unintentional) laughs, murf.
Found with NJK, Mr O. Well - we tracked our travells and circle hills etc etc. We blame the driver for all nav errors however Mr O was king of the hill as he found it.

Found with Feathertop. Although there were indications that this may be a long multi we decided to give it a go. In the end it wasn't that long although it showed some odd aspects of Leeton's surrounds. The cache was an easy find once we found the way in, thanks murf.
Alan and I completed this cache which has not had a find in a while.
I did muck up the maths at one point but we made the correction and after that followed a logical trail to GZ.
I have distant cousins who farm rice up this way so it was good to get a good look at the district. Loved the WP1 gates.
Thanks Murf.

Started this cache without realising that it was a multi! With help from Bob from the Furcarwe Tribe, Sarah decrytping, Shane and Anne navigating we had a ball finding it! It was found by Sarah. Great Cache and was lots of fun!

Never do a multi with the GirlGecko in the drivers seat. The FarmerMan and I ended up doing an extended scenic tour of Leeton due to my not reading the cache sheet properly and recording an incorrect number which gave some very interesting coords. As soon as the mistake was noticed we had the right location and a cache was quickly in hand. Had no idea how many waterways crisscrossed the landscape. Very interesting multi (when you get it right) Thank you!
This challenge included everything. My arrival with Lady Gecko at the first structure saw us double check the numbers by crossing the metal walking bridge.Off to the next spot and all good.A quick count and after number crunching ,we assumed the co-ordinates and the hint about a 4wd to the cache, this could only mean one thing. The gps said 5.4 km's and pointing at the large mountain range to the NW,we shot off down some savage back roads ,finally on to the Barellen RD and after 20 mins were now 12 km's from our last stop and couldnt find a way into the mountain range. After just missing an escaped horse on the road edge we re-checked our maths.Lady gecko said "we have counted the letters on the structure for both clues...not the number of structures"...#$@$%^^ !!
The 12 km trek back showed our GZ the other side of where we had started.#$@$$$%
We ventured back, passed the biggest life-like orange fruit letterbox and found the "POLE " !!Onto the cache and couldnt believe how close the multi all was in its waypoints.
Jan kicked the "flying red tomato" cache mobile thru the 4wd track to within 100m of gz and a short walk eventuated.A huge relief to find the stash after a our personal "MIA' tour of the region. Thanks for the multi, town tour, orange orchard chase and good final hide location .TNLN and thanks to murf!Wheres an orange juice !!

Had a great time finding this one. The daylight was dwindling and we made one temporary mathematical error and then we found the track. Kids had a ball bouncing up the road and got a photo just in time for light. On our way out we staked a tyre, which went down instantly. Well the kid thought that was great too. Just like in a scary movie. All that done and off for a pizza before they closed.
Thanks for the great effort you put into the clues
Cheers

Found at 1150. Nice short multi with a little bit of driving and a little bit of walking. Just the way I like 'em.

A nice jaunt around the backblocks of Leeton. Opened our eyes up to how many canals there are supplying water!
Nice view from atop, the geokid was king of the mound with cache in hand (Rocky style)...

Nice little wander through Leeton's backyard, enjoyed just sitting at GZ at 8pm looking t the scenery. TNLNSL.
We enjoyed looking at WP1 as we worked out the answers. WP2 proved a bit of a problem as we thought we knew what the word said but were not sure, a digital camera is a great friend in times like this. Set the new coords and soon were off to WP3 and then WP4 where a man came to his front door to see what we were doing. So we moved off to work out the answers. Wth GZ locked in we were on our way, nearly able to turn it into a drive by. Cache found in the first place we looked.

Well it sure was an interesting dash around the backyard.
Another couple of places I have not been to before, and I have been visiting the area for 5 years now. And yes the final dash is OK in a small 4x4..... saved a nice walk too.
Took a small frame (to match the other one) and left a marker pen & $5 for the next finder.
Thanks again murf78 for the adventure
