Very sneaky and nice bit of history. Found on an evening walk in town. Tftc
Travelling with stensbye. We will stay two weeks in Australia. After four days in Adelaide we are now on the way to Melbourne and we had a stop here. We signed as TA. Thank you for this cache.
Find # 26 774This cache: Our first cache of the day!Since we spend the night here, i thought we go and see if we could find some caches.we found this one, but dnf on the other two, so we gave up quite quick, and moved on to our plan!MAIN LOG MONDAY MARCH 4TH 2024AUSTRALIA TOUR - DAY 6eterg and me - stensbye - are visiting all the way from Norway, first of all to attend the Mega-event in Adelaide on Leap day!Wich we did!We also attended several other events, and found some old caches, some virtuals, earthcaches, Labs, and whatever that came in our way, if we had the time.We met a lot of warm, welcoming people, who came to us to speak, giving us alot of tips, and help! This Mega-event in Adelaide, and the surrounding events, more Geocachers has come to speak to me/uson these few events, than all other events together! Almost 300 so far!Not counting excisting geocaching-friends that is!So cudos to all participants and co/eo! Well done!!That is now two days history, and today was time to make new history!Teres a lot of old caches here in Australia, so i picked those who filled the holes in etergs hidden month/Jasmer-calendar,wich i think and hope shes happy about!Today we got to Ballarat, from Mt Gambier, about 200 km before Melbourne, from Adelaide, and yet again we tried the "Golden Ocean Road",wich supposed to be nice.Well, we are from Norway, so it dindt impress us. At all. But today we got a view over the ocean for a while. We hoped to get to Melbourne today, but that plan fell apart, so we try again tomorrow. From Ballarat were heading the other direction, for about 25 km, for yet another old cache, before we give a shot at Melbourne. If youre cache is receiving this log, that means we visited it, found it,signed it - unless if it was a Virtual ofcourse - as TA = Team Avensis, wich was eterg and me, and replaced it!Thank you all for all the caches!Greetings from Norway!TA = Team Avensis = eterg and stensbye
Very good. Nicely placed. Surprised to see were second to sign the log today.Thank you.
6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.Today, we visite quickly Mount Gambier.camouflage quickly spotted. Thanks for cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots

Ohhh well disguised. My wife found this one. Took us few mins though. The hint helped. We just finished ice cream down the road so decided to grab a few nearby before it got dark. TFTC.
A quick an easy find as we parked with the van nearby and walked the block to grab lunch then a look at the sinkhole close by to town. Such a fascinating place. Cache in good nick and a familiar urban hide. tftc
Found with byronbure while the family was having breakfast across the road. Quick find just as coffee arrived. Thanks for the interesting spot and the cache. "Discovering our world one box at a time"
So nice to turn a blue into a yellow.Found while down from Adelaide visiting family. Tftc. Found it with cachehunter, our mini cacher, Granny, Grandad and Zoe the geo dog.
Found with NiciDanielle, Zoe the Geodog, Elijah the Geobub and the Geoparents.Found after a previous DNF. A fresh perspective helped with this one, took the hint a little more literally and boom, cache in hand.TFTC
TFTC! 28 December 2023 2:09:51pm 6681Thanks for the cache. A few caches in town before I to Millicent.

I don't want to make this a dnf although we came, we looked, we didn't find. We thought we had a idea of what to look for as we had successfully found the other one but too good for us. It is a great place to find so thanks for bringing us here.
Sneaky hide. Log book getting a bit full, but still enough room to sign - just.

A very sneaky little hide that was found after a bit of a search. Log is full.---SL-----TFTC
With the Airshow in full swing in our home town of Lara we planned a weekend away in Mount Gambier to get away from the craziness and noise.
This morning our older girls wanted to pay a visit to an op shop or two so while they were busy there I thought I would try my luck here. When I sat and looked around I struggle to see what I was looking for as well as muggle after muggle walking by. Eventually I weakened and used a PAF. That put me on the right track with spotting the prize but I needed to extract it first. A little bit of work later thankfully at a time when the muggles seemed to vanish and I was able to get my name in the log.
Thank you UdderChaos for a clever hide

I attempted this one yesterday with PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa but the lane way was just too busy for a proper search.
I returned today once the shops had closed, followed the hint and soon spotted a likely hide.
It was a struggle to retrieve it but I managed it !

Took a little bit, but trusting the mystery and following the hint eventually led to a find! TFTC
First find in mount Gambier on a trip from Melbourne. The previous comments helped me out a lot! Tftc
A lot of seaching and a coffee from the cafe across the road later, eventually it was found! Tftc!
Found but could not reach, definitely bring tweezers or something long and thin
Finally found this one after 3 fruitless visits. We targeted this one on a public holiday so there were less muggles. Tried a location bur it was blank. Then remembered a hjntbfrom the logs and after widening the search area the cache was found about 6m from GZ. Nemesis no more. Good to sign the logbook
Oh my goodness, this is one of the sneakiest!!!
Found a lot further than 6 m from the plaque.
Soooo happy to have persevered to find this one.
Absolutely everything was examined.
There is definitely clues in the logs!
TFTC and meeting the challenge is what it is all about!

Fog, fog & more fog as we made our way "interstate" - Hamilton to Mt Gambier where we met up with the Suscoe team and found a few sneaky caches such as this before heading to Millicent for more geocaching.
Thanks UdderChaos for placing interesting caches on the gameboard.

We found this cache today on our Mount Gambier Labs and More Meander on our route to home. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Third cache of the day! Would of been impossible without the clues in the comments.
Prior to the cache, had a lovely coffee at confessions across the road. They had a nice outback seating area.

South East trip with the geo-pup. Day 7, around Mt Gambier.
We came, we sat, we looked. We sat somewhere else. We looked again. Then we read. Pink Floyd, mystery... now it all makes sense. All good here

After a quick drive over the border we were back in town and wanted to finish off some Adventure Labs and as we were close to this one I stopped in to make the find. [^]
Didn't take as long as I thought it might but with a little help from the previous finders the cache was spotted. I had never seen a container like that before.
Thanks for the cache UdderChaos a favourite for me.

Finally found it, every trip to the Mount from Port Pirie I go looking for this little bugger, GPS gives me a bit of a runaround jumping between chairs sat down on one and there it was staring right at me, I’m sure I looked in that spot last visit, must have been suffering from cache blindness. Nice piece of history. Favourite from me. TFTC
Parked nearby and had lunch in the park. Did a bit of searching to find this one. TFTC
Found with The Teddies. We came through with a pair of tweezers and managed to grab both the old log and the new log
The posted coordinates had me at the wrong seat. Apparently I needed the other seat. So once at the other seat all expectations needed to be left on the floor. This cache was not found where expected and maybe if Pink Floyd had been my caching companion today the hide would have been expected. This may explain the difficulty in locating this one for many cachers and the frustration of many including the CO. Oh well. TFTC
Definitely very difficult to find but with a bit of preserving and different perspectives it was found
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

This is quite frustrating. This cache is tricky to find and we are finding more and more cachers are struggling with it meaning it gets disabled and we have to check it. We will check it today anyway
Cache was there but pushed back too far. replaced with a new one. Please be careful replacing this the same way you found it
2nd dnf for the day in the mount. Think yous are being too sneaky here. Doubt we will pass this way ever again. Pity this sneakness ruin it.

Heymissjo had her eyes set in this cache, so on a dark, damp night we stopped by with 3 Minis. Conditions and time of day kept muggle interference to a minimum and the Minis provided additional smokescreens. The search took about 10 minutes as we pondered options. But piecing it all together revealed the sneaky hide in a place I had considered unsuccessfully from an alternative vantage point.
Yes, a TOTT was needed.
Signed replaced and done.
Now time to find some dinner.
Thanks for the cool challenge.

I originally found this cache with my Mum heymissjo, but now that I have my own account, I am logging. Thanks for the cache.
For the past few years I have cached as part of "team heymissjo", but now I am old enough to have my own account so logging the find. Thanks for the cache.

The Welder and I stopped here with three of our minis. A little bit of night caching and of course at this time of night, it’s relatively muggle free. After ten minutes and five pairs of eyes, it was The Welder who eventually made the find. All is well with the cache.

We came to this GZ with son in law, many years ago when we were still muggles. I thought I remembered where the cache was hidden but my memory has failed me. Tried twice, no luck
I had a hotel voucher I needed to use which was due to the lockdown last year postponing the Millicent Mega event. This weekend was our best option for travel and with the borders just opening up again a few days before I was worried I would need to postpone the accomodation again. Luckily the border opened and an awesome 3 day trip was made. This would also free up some time for when the Mega is on again in October by collecting a lot of what we wanted to this trip.
After a couple of morning tree climbs and then completing the GV2020 geo-art we headed up this way mainly to do the WhereIGo caches but Fleabag- got distracted and we started on this section of the trad wine glass. While we were here we then also went and found all the WhereIGo caches as well with a couple in fairly obscure locations.
Once the WhereIGo caches were done we headed back to Mt Gambier and we had a bit of a wait before our dinner booking time so wandered around town looking for whatever we came across.
Nice and quiet on a Sunday arvo so this was a fairly quick find in a deserted laneway.
Thanks UdderChaos for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Spiffy-, my geopartner and I headed over to SA - Milicent. We had hotel vochure to use from the first lockdown and border closure and Labour Day weekend was our best option. We had many puzzles solved and interesting caches to find in this amazing part of Australia.
A few moments sitting and we decided to investigate something that prooved to be a winner!
Thanks to UdderChaos for the placement and fun.

Will have to try again if we come bac to the mount. Looked for ages. Hate having to admit defeat. We did find 14 other caches today
