Thanks for the cache Skippy., what a view.
Stopped at the nearby parking bay and walked the short distance to gz. Once again, GPS was all over the place, but the hint led me to a well made container. Great views over Port Lincoln and the bays nearby. Tftc
Out on caching adventures nabbing JASMER hides on the Eyre Peninsula with Wollaston.

A great view from the pull out at the top of the hill where I parked. Thanks Skippy.
TFTC Breker enjoying a views of Lower EP. Appreciating my birth place more than ever.
This weekend, I joined gridge98 on a trip to Eyre Peninsula, primarily visiting Port Lincoln and its surroundings. We saw its famous marina full of trawlers, and we also ended up visiting Coffin Bay and enjoyed fresh oysters. A nice weekend with weather, and certainly a great vicinity to see.
Today, our plan was to head to the west side of Eyre Peninsula to Coffin Bay, and have lunch there. We enjoyed kilpatrick oysters (hopefully fresh?), before making our way north through Mount Dutton Bay, Farm Beach, and Coulta, and calling into Greenly Bay. We then looped back east through Koppio and Whites Flat, stopping off for a steep hike to North Block also. An enjoyable day to be out and about, with highlights being the coastal towns and views, and hills hike.
This turned out to be a quick find as we admired the views of the canola around the place. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Skippy for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 04/2006 hidden cache still alive and well.

Today Davidwazza and I continued on our trip of caching out port Lincoln to the best we could, today we made our way from North Shields in and around coffin bay and the back roads. All up just over 50 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Our second DAY IN Pt Lincoln and it was time to focus on caching in Lincoln itself and potential surrounds. It was a cold and grey day interspersed with rain, which was a bit of a downer when compared to the sunshine of the last few days. Despite this we were able to still able to make a good day of it, finding over 50 caches, though it was also a day of quality as well with some higher terrain caches as well. It was an enjoyable day as we were able to tick off some earmarked caches before we finally finished up at around seven.

Found and retrieved trackable SL66N6 even though there was. I mention of it being in cache. A nice surprise!
Great spot. Awesome view. Byo pen. Have added geocache coin and taken sparkly green butterfly.
Hi there Skippy..
We found your cache **"a breathe of fresh eyre"** at 11:59:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 15769).
We cached around the Port Lincoln area today. On our trek we found a wide variety of container types. & ended up finding 9 caches with 1 DNF's.
Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
**Rescued Trackable:** "Steampunk Gear Geocoin".
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

#1177 Third of forty seven finds on Day 11 of my South Australian geocaching road trip. Nice easy find after a short search. TFTC.
Excellent views from the nearby lookout - we were able to see where we've been in the previous days. TFTC Skippy!
CPwanderer, GoodLook and I headed off for a weekend in Port Lincoln via an overnight stop in Whyalla
Our weekend was unexpectedly extended by a day due to illness and so my tally at the end of the 'weekend' was 168 cache finds
Sadly this was marred by a massive 28 DNFs
Port Lincoln, despite being virgin caching territory for all 3 of us, did not provide us with the pleasure that we had anticipated
So many of the caches were bison tubes and those that we did find, quite often were in places where a larger cache could have been hidden The other issue was the lack of maintenance on many caches
There are people trying their best to maintain the 'wheres wolly' cache hides however their resources are stretched thinly..... so if you are heading over, please pack heaps of cache maintenance containers, bags and log books and help out where you can. [^]
That being said, the trip was still a blast and some great caches were found and great views were seen!
How cool....a Skippy cache over here!
You can guess what ran through my mind for ages afterwards

This was one of the caches found on a three day odyssey on the Eyre Peninsula! Myself, GoodLook and locuscache had never cached south of the Cowell/Cleve area so we had high hopes of some great caching. We worked our way down through Port Neil and Tumby Bay and grabbed those along the highway plus a few a little further afield.
Our time in and around Port Lincoln was frustrating. Lots very small micros, lots of very rusty tins and more dnfs than ive ever had in a day before this. We were very fortunate that local cacher , Roming Wendy joined as. Her expert knowledge of the town certainly helped. A medical issue had us stay a third day. This worked out very well as we could do some relaxed caching on our way home.
A special thanks to Roming wendy for her help and to those who hid caches in the area … particularly the Geo-Ambos, Wheres Wolly and Viper321. Special thanks also to my “mildly obsessive” caching buddies on this trip …………………………… amazing fun!!
Nice views ,,,,,, and a quick find!!

As the driver on this trip I got to make decisions as to where we would detour to find caches .....so pleased we travelled here, lovely spot!
Found whilst on a road trip with CPwanderer and Locus Cache, with the aim of the weekend to cache in and around Port Lincoln - fresh territory for us all. We certainly had a great time, however with a DNF rate of about 40% [:(!], it was tough going! We did however thoroughly enjoy the beautiful locations and scenery.
After joking all day on the Sunday we should spend another night in Pt Lincoln, circumstances presented that meant we needed to extend our time away! We took it slowly on the way home which enabled us to once again visit some terrific places
Thanks for the cache

Didn't sign as didn't take a pen. Good one. Not the best with little kids though as cars come passed very quickly!
Oh !! Just smell that fresh Eyre !!
A corny slogan, I know, but hey !! Who cares !!??
I could almost smell the cache before I found it [^]

Found a much better view just 50m up the hill, when we went to turn around the car! lol
Thanks Skippy, things change over time eh?
