Visited here today, geocaching data in my mate's GPS (jbandmegs) must have been loaded just before the muggling was confirmed. Oh well...

15-Apr-07
This cache has been completely muggled. there was no trace of it when we checked this afternoon. Redp.

14-Apr-07
Had a go digging around the playground but came up with nothing. today was just not my day.

19-Mar-07
Found @ 11:00pm.

A nice easy find on a clear night. The caches are a lot easier at night, I really don't like hanging around playgrounds during the day. Too many suspicious looks.

10-Mar-07
Didn't have as much a problem as clockwise...benefits of using TomTom to navigate the streets. Bloke who lives next to the park was doing something in his garage...don't know what...but it was causing loads of smoke (good camo for us Smile

As we're driving around the curvy streets trying to find GZ, we get within 500 metres, and I go "that'll do, that's close enough. We can walk to rest".

Half an hour later we found the park...

Luckily the cache was an easy find !

Then another half an hour walk back to the car. Thanks for the exercise REDP!

Was not too sure about this one as we drove into a court with no park in sight. Then before our eyes it appeared! The triangle.
Not too many muggles at midnight on a cold wet night (pikers!). A quick find with Chewin' doing the grovelling (something he will need to practise when he gets home and explains why he is caching at 1am on his wedding anniversary Smile).
TNLNSL. Thanks, Robmc.

We pulled up at this nice little park just before dark so luckily we had the area to ourselves as we don't enjoy these hides all that much not having children with us.
The cache was located in the first place we looked

Fortunately, there was no-one around as I entered the triangle. The threatening clouds probably scared them away, although it never really rained during the afternoon. This was my third cache for the day.

I did a cache in Sydney around 3 weeks ago hidden exactly the same, no it was a real no-brainer where I should look first, and of course it was right there. No swap made. Thanks for the cache.

19-Jun-06
Sam and I found this one in no time flat. It was a nice sunny afternoon, and there were no muggles about.
Droped off a travel bug that I picked up in Nepal

I was having too much fun on the playground to find the cache but I knew where it was before Daddy found it.

GabGab went straight for the swings while I went a slightly different direction. Luckily she was with me otherwise as a lone male in his 40's I would have felt very self concious being here by myself.
GabGab tells me she knew the cache was hiden there, but ws too busy on the swings to actually find it.
Took chick, left dinosaur.
Thanks REDP. A nice cache location, especially if you have a couple of kids with you.

Third of eighteen caches for the day in the company of Dak’s Emu Mob. The Tom Tom Navigator got us within striking distance and the cache was a nice easy find Thanks.

06-Jun-06
Second of fifteen finds for the day in company with acts2youthgroup. Geez, I hate 'em in playgrounds! Lone males are usually not welcome at such places, and I was once accused of being a paedophile when doing a cache in a Sydney playground. Sad However, at this time of the morning there were no ankle-biters about, so we were able to make a quick find at 0815. I made no exchange; just got out of there as quickly as possible. Thanks to REDP for the cache.

Dear Redp,

I found your new cache today at 1:30pm. I new it would be reasonably close to work so I packed the GPSr and headed out at lunch time. Just after I grabbed the cache a man next door put up the ladder to start to clean his gutters. Then the ladder went down again and I was able to get it back again. Whew. Unfortunately it's a really nice day. The unfortunate part is that I had to go back to work. Thanks for the cache.

Kind regards,

D B-A

Done at 3.10PM

Before checking one of my caches nearby I had to do this one which is within a couple of KM of 3 of my nearby caches. I drove into one court, noticing a lady unpacking shopping from her commodore and thought, no try down another street, Bingo. I went in for the cache and knew where it was as soon as I hit the 0 mark. Puleld the cache out and looked behind and noticed two people walking up from the other direction. So I went back to the car and filled this out for the 550th time. At last, Its been a long 6 months to get 50 caches since the start of the year. I hope to be speeding up again within the next few months as I shall be finished will all my exams.

Thanks for the cache from M.B

Left my wife at the nearby vortex, and went to try this new cache. A nice easy find - though it was well hidden, and I strained my neck trying to get it! TNLN. Thanks.

Found swiftly @ 17:06. Great hiding spot. While sitting with Scooters Mob trading goodies, stories and and the noted desire for a coffee, REDP walked up to say Hi - took us both by surprise. Great to bump into a fellow cacher. Three-way conversation ensued to discover some common interests (Beechworth was one!) and of course the looking at each others GPS units etc. Did a little bit of coordinate comparisons as our GPS units were reading up to 12 metres from where the GZ was actually located. David decided he has a little manual reading to do for his unit. Darkness fell, cold air breezed in and that coffee was calling! Took Dino Left: Next! Laminated Stamp + Horse. SL. Bid farewaell to REDP and went coffee huntin' with Scooters Mob.

25-May-06
Found at 17:05 with Next!. We were filling out the log and doing swaps between the muggles and one of them turned out to be REDP, good to meet up with a fellow cacher.
Took Singapore Keyring, Left Brown Dino. TFTC SL

After consulting with some fellow cachers pprass, next! and scooters mob I have made an adjustment and will check my GPS user manual for some fine tuning.

Nice to see a couple of new ones appearing locally by a couple of new caching teams Smile - I managed to do this one this morning on my way to do a bit of shopping at the nearby "Vortex!". It was certainly a cute little park hidden in there, and the cache location was a very neat bit of hiding too Smile. I also found the coords to be about 10m out, but I don't think this will seriously worry anyone in this case. The park was fortunately free of muggles on this fine morning and I managed to locate the cache in the first place I looked.

TNLN

Thanks REDP

Found at 9.20pm GAFF1. A nice little park and the best time of day/night to go searching for caches in these locations. The co-ords were about 12m out, but it didn't take long to hone in on the hiding spot. Thanks REDP for the late night outing. Took: Clip, Left: Wine charm
