Suscoe was out caching with our good friends Phetlern today around Wagga Wagga. It was a pleasant day in the low 20s with a mild breeze and lots of sunshine. We enjoyed the range of caches found today,Thanks to Roostaman for this multi cache.A nice hide out here.
09:45With lots of corrected coordinates and green icons on the geo map, it is time for a visit to Wagga Wagga with Suscoe to clean the geoboard a little. The first day of our tour around Wagga Wagga with Suscoe finding a few Lab caches as well as geocaches. The weather was a lot more suitable for geocaching with bright sunny skies, unlike the previous day with rain, rain, rain. This was one of the caches we found, the majority being either bison tubes or eclipse mint tins, with the occasional sistema or berocca thrown in for good measure. Our thanks to 'Roostaman' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.38233*This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*
Day 14 of my interstate trip. Today I left Oura and continued to head closer to Sydney but only got as far as Grenfell where I stay for the night. I managed to find 20 caches today and ended up with 2 DNF's today. Was disappointed not to see the Dino but a find will do I guess.TFTC Roostaman
Found It!The dino seems to be MIA but I had no problem finding the 8 digit number. Then off to the final location where I found the cache after a bit of searching through the large object there!TFTC

Found on a trip around central New South Wales with e.gregory1. Our original plans were to travel through Bourke, Cunamulla and Toowoomba to attend the Dayboro event in Queensland and return via Port Macquarie and central NSW, but a series of events that included road closures due to flooding in southern inland Queensland, a covid outbreak in Brisbane and widespread storm damage and road closures along the north coast of NSW resulted in multiple changes of plans during the trip. As it eventuated our travels took us to central New South Wales, on a route from Broken Hill to Cobar, Nyngan, and Gunnedah from where we meandered southwards through some great scenery and historic towns that included Dunedoo, Wellington, Cowra and Yass. We then headed in a roughly westerly direction through to Temora, Wagga Wagga, Deniliquin and Swan Hill before making a final dash for home. All up we found a good mix of Traditionals, Puzzle Caches, Multicaches, Adventure Labs, Wherigos, Earthcaches, Letterbox Hybrids and Virtual Caches on a very entertaining and enjoyable trip. Thanks for the cache Roostaman!
Found during a week in the Riverina.

Found on a trip around inland NSW with FeatherWaite.
Our original intention was to attend the Mega event at Dayboro in Queensland, travelling up via Broken Hill, Bourke, Cunamulla and Toowoomba, then home via the NSW coast to Port Macquarie then on to Adelaide via central NSW. However, the Covid outbreak in Brisbane forced us to reconsider, particularly given that the Mega and associated events were within the area of concern and we may have had difficulty re-entering NSW to get home and then would have had to quarantine back in SA for 14 days.
The floods in the north and east of NSW also hampered our travel plans. But we were able to develop a new plan that took us on a very pleasant tour around country NSW, picking up some interesting caches along the way.
Thanks Roostaman for the cache.

After attending the Mega Event we are now travelling around from cache to cache.
Arrived into Wagga staying at Wilkes park for a few days. After lunch & a rest we headed out into the country side.
Had to wait while a couple of walkers wandered along quiet road. Then another couple of cars. Unbelievable didn't expect to see anybody at GZ

TFTC. We are in Wagga fro a grey nomad festival. During a break in volunteering duties and activities, went out to find a cache or two. Needing multis to fulfill a challenge this one was on the to do list. Dino is certainly in need of some TLC. The cache on the other hand is in perfect condition.
Hit the road out of Brisbane on Friday afternoon with Seff and Lennondayz29 to head to the Mega. We had our first overnight stop in Moree, spent Saturday caching our way to Dubbo for another overnight stop, and Sunday was spent working our way through more of the epic Seff-list all the way to Wagga.
After a good night's rest we were straight back on it early the next morning, with this our first stop. Poor old Dino has definitely seen better days! Despite that we were easily able to find the required information, and maths completed, we headed off to the final. While I grabbed that Seff and Ldayz were engaged in gathering up more 10c containers to add to our tally. TFTC

Dez (JezNDez), Lennondayz29 and I headed off on Friday from Brisbane, making our leisurely way south towards the Mega event in Queanbeyan. Our overnight stop last night was Wagga Wagga and, with an early start, continued our journey towards Canberra where we are scheduled for a few days of caching before the start of the event. Today was another cracking autumn day with sun shining and barely a cloud in the sky.
Poor old Dino, in need of more than a nip and tuck and an injection of lip filler - more of a knock down a rebuild required here.
Arriving at the listed coordinates we quickly spotted the required information and, despite the early hour, engaged the brain to calculate the sums for the final coordinates. The cache was soon located and a few 10c recyclable containers collected from the roadside to add to the trip petty cash fund. TFTC

Heading down south for the mega at Queanbeyan we are a team of three - two very experienced JezNDez, seffnjarah, and yours truly, the ancient arthritic apprentice, fresh from the fields of France.

Big Dino is looking extremely sad at the moment
Not only does it have a badly snapped neck that is hanging by threads, but it is also missing some of it's guts too..... the owners really should either resurrect it or knock it down, a bit of an eyesore at the moment!
The cache however, is still in good condition! The information was quick to work out, and after studying the map and realising that there IS a road there unlike my maps suggested, I was soon arriving at GZ and making a fairly quick find
Thanks Roostaman for the cache, and for my Canberra friends for replacing the cache!

We are happily dragging reluctant grown geokids around to pick up a few multis. Geoson happy as long as he gets to do 4WD, which we keep promising. We did mamage to surprise him with this one as he hadnt ever seen dino, and there isnt much he thinks hes missed in the area. At gz the cache was found a few metres away in the open, looks like an animal has been seriously working on a new home and had kicked it out. Replaced it at gz but away from burrow digging. Tftc
T4TC - What a nice easy multi. Master 2 enjoyed the Dino
Thanks Roostaman

Went for a visit to say hi to Dino, he was fell unwell today, had to have a bit of surgery, so was not in a talking mood. We did get the numbers needed from their hiding place. from here we then calculated the final GZ.
Off we went to find the treasure we were looking for, here there and everywhere. A nice and easy find for both [@AngusnmumyAdventures](http://coord.info/PRRD6GG) and myself.
Thanks for the Cache Roostaman Lil Donna

Well after not being able to do much caching over the Easter weekend because I had other more important stuff on, I thought I would go and try and find more of Wagga today on my day off. This became a cache hunt for the ‘Groundspeak Planetary Pursuit’ and also the ‘GCA GeosportZ 2018’ activities currently occurring. (For those that don’t know, GCA means Geocaching Australia.) These activities, the joy of finding caches, lunch and a bit of shopping led to a great day out. I would like to thank all CO’s for the caches I found, the caches I didn’t find but still enjoyed and for the fun I had today.
This is the next one on the list and when I arrived I found the sad Dino as his head had fallen off. After collecting the numbers, solve where GZ was and I made my way to GZ. A nice quick find. TFT interesting Cache! Now onto the next one.

The Drovers had very kindly offered to be Mrs Crackers chauffer so that she could pick up some caches whilst enjoying her visit with them. There was much discussion the night before about which caches we would target and we decided to make an effort to find the multi's and also the puzzles that we had solved and anything else that popped up in between.
Dion is looking very much worse for wear but we get the idea of his former glory. The information required was gathered, co-ords calculated and off we went to gz where the cache was located quickly and our name was added to the log.
Thanks again Roostaman for the cache.

All good to go again.
All good to go again.
With a relatively free weekend at last a plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to go and collect some unfinished multi and solved puzzles along with some new caches in Wagga Wagga.
It was a rather eventful weekend with a close encounter of the brown slithery kind, not a very happy either as I think we woke it from its winter slumber, friendly cows, good and not so good weather and the opportunity for the inner monkey to show itself again on a few occasions.
After a good nights sleep it was time to search for some more caches.
TFTC Roostaman and thanks for a fun weekend Rapidlywild.

FurfacesLL and myself had decided on a trip away for some much earned stress relieving geocaching. We had planned on doing a day trip across to Wagga Wagga however once we had a look at how many caches we had left to find, changed our plans to an overnighter instead.
We had a large number of multi's to collect that we had picked up GZ information from on prior trips and we had some solved puzzles to collect that we had solved. A nice range of caches across the weekend, did alot of in field maintenance work for CO's by adding new clean/dry/crisp logs to containers in new zip lock bags just to help out.
A great weekend had by us both with a mix of caches, mix of weather and an extremely close brown snake encounter (too close for comfort).
Thanks heaps to FurfacesLL for another awesome weekend away, and thanks Roostaman for the cache placement [^] At the request of the CO, we have replaced this container at GZ to keep this one alive.

@1535
As I was collecting the information and doing the calculations, the owners pulled up wondering what I was doing. They had had some issues with break ins, so were suspicious of someone parked there. I explained geocaching, and that I was just collecting information, and showed them where the final would be. I also mentioned that the last finder was over a year ago. Alas, all I found at GZ was a clip from the container.

Day 2 of my trip and I was really enjoying the drive around Wagga. The things you see while caching ! Lol. Calculated GZ and off I went and found the cache - which is not where its meant to be ! Last find for the day as it was getting dark and the local farmer was watching me suspiciously !
Thanks Roostaman !

Never knew this was out here - Thanks for taking me out here and finding this spot - Shame about the damage on Dino - The GZ was a good find too - Had to be careful not to disturb a birds egg in the hollow but a great hide and a nice drive through an area that you don't normally come through - Cache in excellent condition and plenty of swaps and TBs in it - Log signed TNLN - TFTC
Hi there Roostaman. We found your cache "Big Dino" at 9:37:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 12140.
[Blue]
Today wasn't a particularly good day for 'caching. The weather forecast was for temperatures in the high thirties, and we had too many DNF'd caches. Today we found 7 and DNF'd 4.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Dino needs a day or so at the re-furb shop I think.....he is looking very sadly.....
Last stop before heading home and once at the WP, grabbed the required numbers without issue. Sorted the GZ, drove past, made the find and then headed back to the highway for the trip home.
I spent many a month at RAAF Base here back in the 80's and 90's, but can't remember coming out this side of the highway before, so thanks for showing me the area...and for another multi.
Thanks Roostaman......

Had some free time this morning, so headed out to pick up a few caches in the area.
Arrived at the given co-ords, and thought Dino looked pretty good for its age.
Found the required information, and headed off to GZ for a quick find.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Roostaman, for us and others to find.

Found it. Local 83 yo muggle farmer asked what we were looking for, so we did tell him but he didn't understand. He did offer an interesting anecdote concerning the hiding place: that aboriginals cut large holes in trees so that they caught rain water to act as water "tanks".
[:(!] Picked up some caches while I was in Wagga for the week and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and worked out the new co-ordinates, then drove to the new GZ and parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

Thought I would give this cache a go this morning. Found the Dino and the figures then moved to a likely looking cache placement. [^]
After a quick scan I found the old cache and signed the log but the last signature was some time ago so I read the last few logs and found some more info which I then returned to GZ and found a bonus second new looking container and signed the new log [^] could this be a double find?

Weather change cool but little drizzle day... Great enjoyed drive around of Wagga Wagga caches for a day, Nice Muilt and awesome big one.. Thanks
We hope the dino is fixed as it looks very sad. The drive to the GZ was interesting and the container full of great swaps (for kids). TFTC.
Did the calculations & found the likely road / trail to GZ. Well GPS took me on a wild goose chase so placed into walking mode & the right road / trail came into view. Another multi completed & 1st to log in replacement cache - TFTC / TFTH / SL
had great fun getting around all the stubborn cattle on the road at GZ and then found where we thought the cache should be but alas no cache could we found, all we could find was the clip off what could have been a cache.
Refer to my log and in addition the container will more than likely need to be replaced as the locks have deteriorated to the point they cannot be refitted to the container.
Sorry to report such a problem to your Roostaman.

#163 is added to the count on one fine afternoon prior to some shopping.
The Dino is neal unrecognisable as it no longer has a head. The shape is still very distinctive. Arrival a WP1 was nice and quiet with only those pesky numbers to obtain I was soon back on the hunt for GZ. This time the car GPS navigation was a little out of date and would not take me to the road along which I needed to proceed and as luck would have it I self navigated to the road and there it was GZ.
Approaching the cache I noticed that the log was on the ground. Retrieved the log and proceeded a little further around the location to find the cache container in what was obviously its correct hide however the contents of the container were spread around the cache and the lid was beside the cache. I have done the best I could to return the cache to the correct condition.
Thanks Roostaman for a great little trip around another little used area of Wagga.

Another drive out to a place I would not have normaly gone but I'm glad you bought me to this cool looking bloke who looks like he has been around a while... like about 32,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years or so. Since we spent a bit of time lost in this area, we were familiar with the roads and had no trouble finding GZ. An enjoyable little multi. We took a pathtag and left one of ours. Thank you.

Maybe it was just put there for the Event.

A case of dylsexai for Mr O led to a critical mistake that resulted in wasted k's being travelled. Then a case of 'baby needs a feed' resulted in more lost time. With that in mind, it was a relief when we finally had the right coords in hand! Not much left of that dino. TFTC Roostaman.
Found while in Wagga for Oz Mega (great event - thanks by the way!)
cute little pet to have out the front - less likely to be stolen than a gnome?
thanks for the cache

Found during our kiwi raid of the Wagga caches. Enjoyable multi and an easy find once we found the closest access point T4TC.

Wow, who makes these things?
We arrived at the start location to find a couple of other teams already making a start. We gathered the required info, made the calculations and off to GZ, where we found Team Wibble already filling in the log. This made it a fairly easy find!
Thanks for the unexpected prehistoric critter.
