Looked for about 10-15 mins was an exciting find! Definitely well illuminated Tftf @Lacuna__
What a find for our night caching adventure! Skyemartin12 was the successful rockstar locating this find - not bad for her 6th find ever! Didnt take us too long; reading the comments and using a few logical clues lead us to the general location before finding. TFTF!
Spent the day hanging out with Peppa and wayn0, cruising around the Redlands, trying to avoid the rain. I was heading further up the wall when Peppas brilliant notes stopped us and told us where to search, then wayn0 picked up the right thing and made this a quick find. Tftc THENANKSFind #5805
Sometimes you get lucky, this could have been very different! Thanks for the cool cache. Cheers
TFTC smile 17374 out and about on a lovely day having a great time finding a few local caches before the Event tomorrow Thank you THENANKS for placing this cache for our enjoyment
Wow, I did not think this would ever turn out as it did, very grateful. I had been trying to get over to St. Helena Island for some time, the lure of a FTF made it a little exciting. In my attempts to get over I had managed to joke with Imunda about taking a trip over. Well, it came to fruition and with a few other characters as well. Turned out to be a fantastic day and we got in a lot more than just a ftf. We arrived at St. Helena Island and completed an earth cache a multi waypoint and a lab point. By then we headed over to green island and did some traditional caches as well as a couple of multi caches. From here we headed over to do a virtual in the middle of nowhere and then on the way back home we stopped off at Peel to do a couple more. It was a fantastic morning out and we had a lot of laughs along the way. All caches were signed and replaced as found. Thanks to the COs for the placements and maintenance. The earth cache we did as a group log rather than sending in individual logs. It was after that trip that I went off and did this cache as an extra for the day, all good here.
12/7/2023 Find #6304
A solo day of Wednesday wanderings today, I decided to head over to this side of town and clear a few caches off the map.
Parking the car in the nearby carpark, I walked on down ready to start swearing at the CO. But the coords were pretty spot on and I saw what I was after quickly, pretending to be staring at my phone the whole time. The cache is well constructed and has certainly survived the test of time.
Thanks for the cache THENANKS.

Thought we would have a look for this one as the area was fairly quiet. Hunted up and down for ages and were just about to give up when I spotted something similar to what I was expecting. Nice hide, TFTC
Third try here but we were more thorough and methodical this time. 10 mins and cache was in hand. Rockstars TTFC
After spending the morning surrounded by crazy dog people I excused myself and went a-caching… even though I wasn’t wearing appropriate (read dirty) footwear… I even took a before shot fully expecting them to be trashed by the end of the day…
There’s a brand new challenge on the Northside that this cache helps with… plus it’s an oldie… I don’t know why I was concentrating on the area I was, but some singlemindedness saw me ignore 90% of the wall… of course the cache was located in that 90% thanks to a PAF…

Found as part of the RRG cyclists that explored the area today.
I looked for this one a lot of years ago and had no luck. Today I was with a group attacking nearby caches and a call was made to put all eyes into looking for this one.
It was a good idea as after a short search this was was found.
Nice to have a find finally here.

Joined an enthusiastic group of cyclists to make the run through the trails here, stopping every so often to take a wander into the bush or ponder a structure. A great variety of hides, some tricky, some straightforward. Thankful that many eyes made short work of the hunting in most instances and that the rain kindly stayed away. All up we rode 30km today, signing logs RRG to save space. TFTC THENANKS
A call was put out on Facebook to join up for a bike ride and do a nearby series. Still with a few days of rec leave left I couldn’t refuse. It was suggested to venture off the intended route to look for this oldie as many eyes make light work and it did work as it didn’t take long to have this in hand.

I must of fluked finding it within 2 minutes of starting my methodical search. As no sooner was my hand on the cache my name was in the log. Put back as found. TFTC THENANKS!
Today, I started the day with jesswrigley partaking in Mitchelton parkrun, followed by a few miscellaneous errands and shopping. In the early afternoon, I decided to head out solo, with the general strategy to keep heading south to time with a night multi-cache planned. Several Adventure Labs were visited and completed, such as *Hills on the Southside*, *Redlands Coast*, *Cleveland Heritage Precinct*, and *Historical Redlands*. Hence, quite a few different areas were visited, starting from Seven Hills Bushland Reserve, Wellington Point, and Cleveland. I finished up the afternoon/evening with a walk in Kidd Street Conservation Area, targeting and completing *Sleepy Hollow* multi-cache.
This geocache had been on my bucket/priority list due to its age, an oldie 08/2006 hidden cache.
Upon a brief search in the area checking the various items, I eventually came across the cache itself. It was nicely hidden and well constructed, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks THENANKS for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Found with stairman1 and geopuppies. This one took us over an hour and 2 PAFS. Mean and sneaky hide. Glad we found it. TFTC
Found with goldielover. Well that was a mission. About 1 hours before we gave up. I spotted it on the way back to the geomobile. That was pure luck.

After a big lunch at Taco Bell, we were looking for a low impact cache to finish with. I decided to pick this one because it sounded like mission impossible in one attempt. We had made plans to revisit the Bell and so we might as well make a start on the searching and possible mop up on our next visit or the 200th one after that.
I asked Mrs Woodyrothwell what time limit we should set ourselves. That stubborn beeyarch told me to forget about that because she would probably find it in 5 minutes. Headstrong, perverse, recalcitrant, pig-headed, obdurate, mulish, indefatigable and assiduous are words I would never dare say to my wife’s face but describe exactly how she caches. I should have bought a six-pack and just stood back and watched the show.
We definitely fluked the place to start because exactly two minutes after beginning the search she was passing me the cache. WTF? I’ve witnessed a few miracles in my time, like a teenager going half a day without the internet (in fairness they were sleeping), my daughter actually uttering the words “I’m shopped out” and once I visited my mother-in-law where she didn’t give me the stink eye but this was beyond belief.
How the bejesus did she find it so quickly and well within her time limit? I’m never going to be able to live this down. It looks like I’m doing all the work in the cot tonight. tftc

Happy to be having a day off, so a plan was hatched to head to the bay area and find some long-ago solved puzzles, older or unloved hides, unusual types and DTs, along with any others that happened to be located along the way.
This was one of the caches I DNFd with Slow Puncture as we were trying to grab our 25 unique D/Ts in a day for a certain challenge. I recall the 3 of us spent quite a while searching, so to avoid another epic fail I put out some feelers for a little info, and gleaned just enough to give me a head start on the searching. It didn't take me too long to find the sneaky bugger today, bit it still brought back memories of that DNF nightmare over 4 years ago.
Adding an FP for the sneaky sneaky.

Out with stortigirls finding a few caches. I had heard nightmare stories about this cache, but, that wasn't going to stop us. A systematic search began. It wasn't long before I had the cleverly camoed cache in hand. With our names added to the logbook and the cache returned to its spot, we headed off to grab a bite to eat nearby. TFTC
Rocked on up this Sunday arvo, took a deep breath and started my hunt. Totally ignored passing cars - this is hard enough when you know what's going on ... a muggle returning to see what I was doing has no chance. Like others I made a few passes of the entire wall. I think we are all used to the idea of coords being GZ - but coords are where to start this time. It doesn't really help that Australia Post has posted itself off - but I guess that was never going to help anyway.
Had a lot of time to ponder all this, and life, where I am going in this universe. How to solve a riddle like Maria. And the Middle East. And Middle Earth while I was at it. Another rock of no use to me. Why are there so many little rocks in walls like this? I mean, they aren't serving any real purpose are they? Not chipped off the big ones either - different types of .... oh, there. OK. Mark made, returned, and I am out of here before the cops arrive.
Thanks THENANKS.

The Bromance, in the company of Dez from JezNDez were on our way this morning to paddle our kayaks for a possible FTF. Crookedpete decided this cache would make an ideal rendezvous point and we agreed to meet here at the allotted time. Crookedpete had obviously wet the bed, as he had already arrived and located the cache by the time the rest of us turned up. Without giving any hints he left us to our own devices and gradually, one by one, we each managed to make a find without the rest of the still-searchers noticing. TFTC
With the tides not quite right for a kayaking first to find attempt at Toondah harbour this morning, there as no rush out the door. I had previously investigated a few other possibilities to fill in time and this cache popped up.
Enroute to our launching spot, I stopped here. Somewhat overwhelmed by the task in front of me, I read a few logs, which helped narrow down the likely search area. Consequently I found the cache within 2 minutes. Whilst signing the log, I got a call from my caching buddies who opted to meet up at this one.
Thereafter, whilst I watched from the sidelines, the others played a game of last person standing. Firstly Dem made the find, managed to sign the logbook and return it whilst Seff and Fungus were none the wiser. With two of us chatting on the sidelines, Seff and Fungus focussed their searches. Soon enough, Seffnjarah joined us , leaving Fungus to be ridiculed by the remainder of us.
Lots of fun. Many thanks THENANKS

This was the chosen rendezvous for our group on our way to the nearby kayak launch point for a newly published cache. In the end the yaks weren't actually required, but that is a story for another log . I pulled in seconds after the bright red Shroom-mobile containing Seff and Swellerfungus, and we set to searching as a group using a divide and conquer approach. Crookedpete, having already found the cache, contented himself with watching and critiquing our technique.
Upon finding the cache I tired of the collaborative approach and managed to extract the container, sign the log, and return it to it's spot without either Seff or Fungus noticing, and took up station beside CP the better to enjoy the show. Noticing my lack of searching Seff and Fungus concluded I had done the dirty and found the cache without them, and with many a dirty look, refocused their search. Seff was next to make the find, and promptly abandoned Fungus and joined the smug 'found it' team, oh how fickle! With everyone's name safely in the log we headed off to the next cache. TFTC

I have had a glance every time I have driven by this cache, and once even stopped for a quick search. With an attack on a nearby FTF we stopped here for a group attack. No favouritism here as each in the group made the find. I was the last to do so with a gaggle of snickering onlookers. Eventually the find was made. Thanks for the cache.
Out and about in the local area with E(: and picking up a few caches as we go. Chose a nice quiet time to come here to search and after reading past logs because we were having no luck locating the prize, we were pleasantly surprised to see it sitting out in the open in the opposite direction to where we were concentrating on.

As I was walking around the block, I decided to have a browse for this one again.

This cache has intrigued me for a while but I only recently had a chance to have a look for it.
After a long and extensive search, I had to give up unsuccessful. However, I was determined to get a smiley.
I had heard on the grapevine what the container was and then I got a hint from a previous finder about the area to search. So this morning I went back for another attempt.
After a few minutes with no success, I began to think that it was futile and I should give up. I decided to try a couple more spots before I left.
To my surprise, I moved a rock out of the way and saw something that didn't belong. I opened up the cache to find a dry log in good condition and added my name.
One year and two months after the previous finder!

Recently spent an hour or so getting to know the "Wall".
Read the logs and took Tdimdad's advice and returned Sunday 7am with Geowife. Now had pretty good idea of what and where not to look.
Walked to one metre of cache and had in hand within 60 seconds. I put it down to part fluke and part earlier visit eliminating much of the search area... TFTPuzzle

This cache has made me more diplomatic! The amount of curse words I have had to swallow here as they don't leave my mouth easily is astounding.
Today I wanted to turn this into a find to fill a blank in the caching calendar. So, rocked up again, for the fourth time here. This time I had made a PAF in a Facebook group and gotten a hint of the area to search. Thought it'd be a reasonably well narrowed down but didn't find anything in 20 mins, so admitted defeat.
Another call to that previous finder and the container got some shape, too, and a bit more about the location. Now, knowing what to look for, did a late night dash out - just couldn't leave this now that it was on top of my mind.
Went through the narrowed-down area but had to extend the search area significantly before coming across something that sure must be purposefully made. Pheeeeeew, finally! [^]
I have spent probably in total of 2+ hours here, and at least once looked from right here, too, but hadn't registered the container back then. But that's what makes a good hide: simple but so effective that it can trick you to bypass it. Well done, Thenanks! And wonderful to turn this pest on my caching map into a bright smilie...

29/8/14 - woohoo!!! Yay!!! Yeehar!!! I am soooo excited this is now a smiley. The recent find by others spurred me on again to look. Whilst beginning the look I contemplated asking for help with this one....but really didn't want to. So I ignored the muggles and just started looking. This time after reading logs and the clue I thought I had a rough idea of what to look for. So up I started at point A (thankfully the correct end to start at) and moved slowly along. Sure enough I soon moved something and bingo...there it was. Can't wait to bring the geokids back so they can also make this find. TFTC the Nanks and yay for the smiley.
Came here with Genyo and Ms Maddy. After around 10 minutes of unsuccessful searching Genyo located the clever cache. TFTC!
With a little help from Ms Maddy we were able to find this cache without too much issue. It was a great container. TFTC
The geokids have been after a night time cache for a while and I thought this might be worth a try. I stopped off during the day to have a quick look hoping to find it and be able to give the kids some clues. Spent about half an hour and had to leave without finding it. Spent time during the day reading past logs and hoping to come with some clues for the night search. I am aware it has been a loooong time since this one has been found and with only one other log since the last find and that last log was also a DNF, I was a little concerned it may have been muggled. Anyway.....night time arrives and the geokids and I set out, torches in hand. We searched high and low, in and out, but no luck. As it is often with kids....they tired easily [|)] and homebound they requested. I will be back......
As there was a new cache in the area, just a few hundreds of meters away, which I went to hunt, decided to try this one, too. At 10 pm on Friday night, the muggle density was low on the footpath, and the traffic steady but low enough to allow searching.
I did some preliminary investigations at home with Google Street View, but that didn't give much hint at all on where to search. And as a matter of fact, the wall is actually much higher than what it looks like on screen.
At the GZ, went through half of one side methodically with a red light on in my flashlight. To hide it from bypassing cars, it's quite enough to stick the hand in one of the hollows on the wall. That'll keep the muggle interest factor sufficiently low.
After finishing the potentially good area, re-read the description, wandered further to see if there are any obvious signs, but had to return back empty-handed.
Continued the search in other direction until good spots there were exhausted. Walked through to the end eyeing for promising spots, checked out a few, then went through every nook and cranny on my way back.
After 50 mins nothing has popped up, and it was time to retire for a good night's sleep.
I had some preconceived ideas on what to look for, and got a couple more while searching, but none of those jumped out in the darkness. Perhaps this is better served on a Sunday morning at 6 am...

I spent about ten minutes searching within the few metres I was nudged towards before I spotted the cache. I have no idea how long I would have been searching without him. I signed the dry log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache THENANKS.
Out for a bit of night caching. Took about 15 minutes of searching.
Enjoyable cache. Many thanks. TFTC!

Parked the car near GZ, and thought we would be here for a long time, so many rocks. Not a fan of rock walls. Both of us tackled the task differently, and soon came the whistle from Mr GT54, from way down the line, that he had in deed located the cache. Very creative. TFTC.
I rocked up fresh from a late lunch on the opposite corner, expecting a long search. I started at one end and made my way along steadily, only grabbing things I thought were likely. I then worked my way back and very shortly was taken by surprise! TFTC: it's a goody and I was lucky to find it pretty quickly, I think.
Excellent cache! Found by the gorgeous Mudstalker in a place I had already searched! TFTC!
I'm not sure if I like rock wall caches or puzzle caches less... this one turned out to be a fun find in light rain with my lady. Thank you for not making either a rock wall or a puzzle too difficult!
Finally found it! It's great to finally get a smiley face on this one. We have searched a couple of times and it wasn't till OrionJ gave me a clue that narrowed down our search and soon M Husband found the cache. I was thinking it would be slightly different so good one. Thanks OrionJ. TFTC.
Being on the main road it would look silly for one person to be looking into the rock wall, but with a group of 4 of us it must look totally natural...
Thanks to Kylie, Anne and OrionJ for joining in with the search.

This morning had been a good look at a couple of what seem to be MIA cache. So with two DNF's under our belt, myself, Ms Maddy, Pauldp72 and HWD headed over here with the rain and all.
We started on differ parts of the wall with different thoughts on what the hint and other bits and pieces of info we were finding in the description and logs might mean, and nothing was really jumping out.
I was off looking on one tangent, while Pauldp72 had something else in mind, and along the way he even managed to snag himself a potential future cache container (is nice to have a little hint in advance on what we may be looking for. Hot Wheels Duo was taking a look at many different places and I think seemed to be almost the wettest one of all of us, and was ready to throw in the towel.
While Ms Maddy seemed to have hit on just one key word in one little old log and was following that up, when suddenly I heard her call and there she was holding onto the most likely of likely caches. Not a bad little effort.
Now at least I have one from three this morning. TFTC

I was keen to look for this cache and dragged along OrionJ, Hot Wheels Duo and Pauldp72...
We noted the post box and took off on different tangents to seek out the cache.
Did I mention how much I dislike this kind of hide? Rocks! Rocks! Rocks! More rocks!
The rain increased and I recall looking at Hot Wheels Duo and thinking, "Wow! That's wet!"
I ducked into Sooty on the passenger side and read through a few logs without the rain in my eyes. Ah... Fangsoki's words struck a chord!
I got out and looked in one direction, then walked back and looked the other way. A few minutes later the cache was in hand and I called to the others [
It was indeed a neat cache and a tricky find. So glad we were able to log this one today
Hi ho Sooty! Home for a hot shower!
TFTC THENANKS, a nice hide!

Must have been a funny sight - four people, soaking wet, pouring rain looking along a rock wall. Anne found it just in the nick of time, I was about to leave.
Another day of Cleveland Capers with IolantheK...YAY!!!!
What to say about this one......on my radar and determinedly ignored for four and a half years. Just couldn't see myself searching THAT in such a public place. Have driven past countless times and made the mental note that "somewhere" in there was a *%^#*#^% cache!
As they say, so many things are more fun with a friend so today was a great day to set about the search with nary a concern for the million or so passers by. We made a thorough search for quite some time then resorted to a PAF. Whilst waiting for a response we decided we needed to refuel so enjoyed coffee and a thoroughly delicious warmed mud cake at the nearby Golden Arch "Restaurant". Armed with a load of sucrose and some direction from two independent PAFs we resumed our search and made the find! Finally!!!! Nasty Blue ? be gone!!!
Thanks for the cache, THENANKS. Cheers, svn07

Out and about with svn07 for another Mad Friday
Not a fan of standing in public and looking very suspicious by myself, but when there's a buddy to do it with, well, it's all good [^] svn07 was a little stressed about this one, as it's been dancing around her radar for a very long time, but today we decided to give it a bash and pretend that we weren't doing anything out of the ordinary! Well, the search didn't go so well, and we looked odd for about half an hour, so we decided to PAF, then had to wait for the return call, so headed to the nearby establishment for a refuel of coffee and cake Whilst enjoying that the PAF sent us some good info, then another friend rang up for a chat and we got some more good info! Back to the dreaded wall, and zero in on the hints, and in just a few seconds we had the cache in hand! Wish we'd looked there before. TFTC, THENANKS. A very tricky one indeed.

Got you little sucker. Yippee finally. After a few hints from homeward bound. Had it in my hot little hand. Tftc
Have walked past this cache on my way to the shops many many times in the last six months and usually have poked into a hole or two looking for it. Got tired of it coming up on my cache list so yesterday Cleveland girl and I gave it a good go . Half an hour of searching turned up nothing. Then on my morning walk to the shop I had a thought. Perhaps there? Yes the cache was in hand. Should have known it would be something like this. Have a couple of this style myself. Oh no no pen with me. Went back with Cleveland girl and gave her a reduced search area. After a couple of hints she too had the cache. Signed the very full log. I will put a new sheet in next time I walk past . Having done the original wall this one was a bit easier but only just. Thanks for the cache.
Out and about today grabbing a few new caches in the area. On the bicycle of course.
My last stop for the day and it is NOT dark like the last time I was here. So much easier to search. Again I started at one end and worked my way systematically along the wall. Eventually I found it tucked away.
Thanks for the cache. It is dry and in good condition.

Too many muggles and I am sure the guy at Supercheap was about to call the police. So we are going to leave the 2nd attempt until night time.
Easiest 3.5 star difficulty cache ever. Parked car nearby and was walking to GZ as I was reading the description. Well, sounds like a good challenge, and after all, I did find the Wailing Wall (the original Wall was before my caching time). Looked up and could see the Austraia Post box, so looked at the wall briefly. One spot stuck out for me and I checked, sure enough, there was a cache there. Took no more than 10 seconds of looking, no word of a lie. Thinking about it, it could prove to be somewhat troublesome, I did get pretty darn lucky. TFTC.
As Where Are We stated below, we parked the geomobile and started systematically searching the wall. I was following three metres behind and within 90 seconds of searching a let out a dummy "Found It" call to see geobrothers reaction. After the heckling died down geobrother made his own call to which I replied something along the lines of "bulldust".
OMG, there it was in his hand inside a five minute search……..
TFTC, Dazweeja.

I have avoided this one like the plague since its inception but today the Geobrother was keen to give it a go so with trepidation we parked the car and started to systematically check the wall from our chosen end. OMG, I had my hands on it inside 5 minutes, thank you cache gods!!!! Awesome hide, loved it.
Well after driving or riding past here numerous times I thought I had better stop and have a go.
Reading past logs gave me some heart-and yes , after about 10 minutes I had the cache in hand.
Thanks for not making it as difficult as you could have in this location.

I had - for some reason - always not clicked on this cache. It is not a big secret I don't really go for puzzle caches. Crew 153 recently pointed it out while we were talking at a nearby cache - so I thought I would take a look after coming back from Straddie.
First of all - can I thank the cache owner for giving good warnings in the description about the cache.. and correctly listing it as a mystery. Nothing worse than rocking up to a traditional and you get the "it is somewhere nearby" line. Grrr! [:(!] This took me about 15 minutes. I did a systematic search.. just not in the right area. It might have been plum luck that I did get it in the end. It was not exactly what I was looking for. But it was found nonetheless and in excellent condition. TFTC THENANKS

Didn't take too long to find this one with the both of us looking from different ends. La Kedi came up with the goods. TFTC
We didn't have the ... pleasure?? of knowing The Wall and such caches but we have heard of them. Traffic seemed to be relatively slow so we decided to stop and have a look. Unfortunately about a minute into our search, a curious muggle pulled up just behind us and just sat in his vehicle. We went off to do another cache and when we had returned, he was no longer in the car. Resuming the search, it took 5-10 minutes before we found it. Lucky we had two of us searching! Thanks THENANKS
I remember The Wall! With shudders, usually. I'm much much happier to say that we managed to actually find this one and being Good Friday, muggles were not really a factor . Took a concerted effort from the pair of us but we found it at last. TFTC. =^.^=
Up this way again for work to get a load of news papers from nearby,on my own this time though.A bit lonely without my helper but searched determinedly, physically felt a smile come to my face when I spotted it and straight on the phone to tell the rest of the clan I'd found it
Great challenge TFTC THENANKS

Spent about half an hour with no luck,I guess that will make it more satisfying when we do find it.We'll be back TFTC
Boy! Is it 5 years since this one was placed here?
I remember when it came out there were a number of caches in rock walls around the city at the same time.
From the comments on some of them I decided at the time that I would leave this one on the shelf.
Today I was in the area and decided that I would give it a shot.
It took no more than 30 seconds to locate the cache.
I wonder if I would have found it that fact 5 years ago?
I'm glad to finally get this one off the map. Thanks to the Nanks.

After securing Dean's Museum this morning, I was up for another challenge and tackled this one a little after 0840. I had given myself til 0900 to find the cache or would leave itleave it for my next run out this way... [^]
No point carrying the GPS I thought so that stayed in the car. I jumped out and commenced the hunt. I don't get too worked up about the muggle factor as most people will have forgotten what they saw when the next song comes on the radio... Plus, I had the luxury of three trucks parked adjacent to GZ this morning so had plenty of cover...
Naturally, I headed off in the wrong direction and when I reached the end of the wall with no cache, Murphy's law suggested it was somewhere in the other direction... So back into hunt mode and I worked my way back along the wall checking to see if I had missed anywhere... Got to my starting point and I was confident I had no missed that hiding spot... A coule of minutes later and my suspicions were confirmed what I pulled the container from it's lair...
Found it at 0858... Always at the eleventh hour...
Thanks for my second challenge this morning Nanks... Another nice hide...

#4508 Found this cache as part of a recent brissy raid along with Steeba and Big Matt. Luckily with over 10000 finds amongst the 3 of us we soon had it in hand.
Thanks
Thanks
Found this cache with steeba and The Rats on our 2010 Brisbane Invasion Trip. This was our 4300th overall find.
Found at about 2:46 PM. This one could take a very long time but amazingly we came up with the cache fairly quickly
Thanks to THENANKS for the cache.

Crikey! I bet the locals are used to cachers spending some time across the road here! After a short search though we came up with the goods. TFTC!
