Did Not find this one.. Made sure criss crossed the area and always pointed me back to the same location. It fitted the description but just did not locate anything. Looked at more possible locations around GZ, but still nothing.
Sadly we were moved on from this spot very impolitely, a wedding party decided they didnt like their reserved spot and took over our picnic & Cache search area
We'll be back again soon, picnic blanket and all
We'll be back again soon, picnic blanket and all
GPS seemed very insistent on a particular location and location seemed to fit with the clue but no find. Looked further afield and checked a likely looking location nearby. Racked our brains on where it could be but came up with nothing. Would like to attempt this one again sometime in the future but think we might need an extra clue...
As soon as we arrived I saw the mess of chicken boxes and hungry jacks boxes left on the ground. I said to the team "I'm going to pick up that rubbish" and set out to grab a couple of cartons and shove rubbish inside them. The other two were synchronising their GPS/iPhone and looking very serious while I wandered from tree to tree grabbing bottles and trash. Which is how I came upon the cache without any help from GPS or iPHone (left mine at home so I was behind [8] but it was no handicap today). It was strange to see the usual geocacher camo neatly piled at side of cache which was thus visible to the naked eye. Go get this one and see the fabulous view. If you can, pick up some of the rubbish I couldn't get on this visit. It was extra good to find this cache after our meeting with Mr Nanks this morning.
Spent a short while admiring the view from the railing. What a great view it is! Worth coming up here to see. Then strolled towards GZ. Cache under camo but it has suffered a little from all the rain we've had lately. Fortunately, although a little damp around the outside edge, the log was dry. Thanks for bringing us here today The Nanks. Enjoyed meeting you this morning.

Nice quick find. After a quick scout around gz the tell tale sign that indicated where the cache was evident to all good cachers. Lovely park.
We found this nice little park by accident and had breakfast at the local cafe. A quick check of the GPS and there was a geocache here and some information about the birdlife. Thanks for making our trip even more special.
Fangsoki and I decided to travel to Coochiemudlo Island and track down the four caches on foot.
$6.80 for the ferry and four hours later we were back on the main land with a score of four from four.
We had parked the car pretty close to this one so we decided to track it down before heading towards home.
TFTC THENANKS.
While signing the log a cache dwelling frog hopped on in.

Having just been over to Coochie Island, we decided to tackle this one before we moved along. I parked the car quite close to GZ. We started the hunt and Radnoski came up with the goods. It was a bit wet inside. I changed the plastic bag and we dried everything else out. Signed the log and returned the cache. TFTC TheNanks
#4495 Found this cache as part of a recent brissy raid along with Steeba and Big Matt. Plenty of muggles about they didnt stop is bagging a find. We then sat and watched the ferry.
Thanks
Thanks
Found this cache with steeba and The Rats on our 2010 Brisbane Invasion Trip. This was our 4288th overall find.
Found at about 12:26 PM. Found this one OK between muggles but the thing that annoyed me was the yuppies with their pretend dog up on the table being fed. Nice thought if your coming out here to eat your meal from the table.
Thanks to THENANKS for the cache.

Nice park near the water with plenty of people enjoying themselves (read muggles [:(!].
The hint made it fairly easy and after having a look at the lookout we were off. TFTC!

This was cache # 36 of 41 on another hard day at the office. A nice area to visit, I had no idea what a Curlew was, must be a QLD bird. My thanks to THENANKS for the cache.
Haven't been out here for years and had forgotten just how close Coochie actually is. TFTC
Turned out I parked the car within a few metres of this before catching the ferry to Coochie. Good thing I checked on the way back to the car, and grabbed it on the way out. TNLN. Thanks. Nice view.
That one was an easy find today.
Thanks for showing that place!

Another lovely place today which thanks to geocaching we were able to see, thanks for this one. Nice view and good hiding spot. Thanks again.
First find for the day, and as the Farschke Family! A good start to get the hang of the GPS, the kids found it easily and sparked their interest for more. Love this spot, but watch out for muggles in the busy car-park.
Cache in good nick, took the lucky coins and left a pedometer.
Thanks for the cache!

Nice easy find away from the many muggles in the area, the replacement was a bit harder as some muggles came by, but managed ok. Then had some nice fish and chips from the shop nearby for lunch.
Thanks.
Thanks.

We timed our arrival well as the area was deserted making for a quick and easy cache retrieval. Unforunately we'd sampled ice creams earlier in the day near another cache and thought it would be a bit much to do so again. At least we have an excuse to return now. TFTC
I've been to this spot quite a few times but for some reason never picked up this cache. Nice spot to revisit!
We are up in the area visiting my daughter and we had some time to kill while waiting for her to come home from work so we thought we'd do some caching. I lived in the Redlands for many years and know this area well - but we were fascinated to find the birds nesting in this area - we saw two Curlews and their babies! Quickly found the cache. TNLNSL TFTC
Two Curlews near by didn't like me strolling around and one decided that I needed chasing away and came after me. An easy find in the end. Great place and nice view. Thanks for the cache. TNLNSL
Another strike from Black Ops.
A good easy find on the way past.
Thank you again very enjoyable.
Cache OK.

One of the Mum's first geocaches. Quick and easy grab just after getting the barge back from a few fabulous days on Coochie. A huge flock of birds were playing a bit further on in the park and were most entertaining to watch.

Sorry all- a little bit of vacation brain!
Two things
1.Typical dutch coin is not in this cache- it is in My Look at All the Pretty Boats just down the road. Since I don't have this coin any longer I will contact the owner to get the number of the coin to try and remedy the situation. My apologies.
2. The website seems to be acting up (or maybe it is just me again!) as I couldn't get it to let me leave more than one coin/tb in this cache. So also here are the Worry Dolls TB.
Thanks!

How strange I was here 2 years ago before hearing about Geocaching crawling around in the undergrowth trying to get a photo of the elusive curlew maybe I even stepped on the cache and didn't know! Well I found it this time with my scrapbooking muggle ladies. T.F.T.C.

Teamed up with Team Robins for a few caches after the A-Mad-Mazing race event cache. Lucky for me as I had been stranded without my Sat Nav and they had one handy... [;D] Mrs Gunnie69 needed to find her way home and took said toy to help her.
First of a few planned for the afternoon.

We arrived at this cache and had to wait for a muggle to move on before we could grab the cache. it was only minutes before no one was in sight and this made saerching easy with the cache being found in minutes.
A nice little park near the water made this cache a pleasure to log at 12.13pm.
Our thanks to THENANKS for the cache.
