Had a quick look for this one while waiting for boat motor to be fixed.
No luck today Not sure if this cache is still there as there have been quite a few DNF's before me.
Thanks anywayz

Everlasting, Ozcymru and myself went there for 5 mins searched. no luck!! gave up easily since we read other's comment. sorry.. [8)] we are on the way to island
spent a long time moving rocks found everything but the cache can someone tell me if it is still there has been along time since last find
After moving the groin about 1m to the east we decided to give up. Just too many places the little bugger could be hiding. And seaweed eveywhere!
Spent 20 minutes looking with Mini GC, looked under more stones than a lifetime deserves and failed! will be back from England in a year to try again (well it's an excuse to visit the most beautiful of islands!)
DNF - looked for quite a while. It'll be very difficult to find this cache (if it's still there) now that a few people have not found it - and probably lifted every single loose rock (and there's plenty!) and replaced in slightly different spot. Could the owners check if it's still there, please?
A bit late to log-but we found it. After a recent high tide covered the whole area in sea weed we were dismayed at the task at hand.
Nearly gave up -again -but then had to do the logical' where would I put it and still be able to remember where?' da da -there it was.

Had A Quick Scout Around For This One With No Success (Even After Reading The Hint). We Aren't Too Fond Of Rock Caches, But Each To Their Own. It Was A Nice Way To Spend 15 Minutes Before Boarding The Ferry To Coochiemudlo Island. TFTC!
Another big day on the dark side, DNF on this one but really didn't look to long, what with the wind blowing hard and I don't like rocks.
DNF. Attempted this one without any information so I had no idea what I was looking for, but thought I'd take pot luck. I had no such luck. You may have to go back and rearrange all the rocks because I'm sure I moved them all looking for the prize. I'll be back in a month to try again. Thanks to THENANKS
aaaargh!,vicky your point is on ye' end of me cutlass!,after tryin' to find ye' original booty with ye' landlubbers way bac' last year we had two reasons to plunder this booty ,rdmh game and to get it off me closest to home list!!!!,hate to say it to ye' rest of ye' scallywags found 5 secs flat without turnin' on gps!!thanks dlit.
I'm sure I checked that spot several times before finally nabbing this dasterdly illusive little cache. Lucky tonight there was plenty of light from the full moon and no fisher muggles about.I was just about to give up as I had to return to the scout den to pick up my cub geokid when I found that just made my day.TFTC a great hide.
Enjoyed the visit here. Neverending rocks but no cache to be found. Enjoyed the visit though.
Ugh! This was a tough one! We would have scrambled around the rocks seaching with Wingaap for about 45 minutes before giving it away.
Nice spot though - thanks for the excuse to come here.

Some many rocks...so many holes.
Spent quite a bit of time here today with Nasty Steve and Family.
No joy....oh well there is always next time

There isnt many muggles about at 1.05am, so searching wasnt too difficult. There are, though, quite a few rocks here. Fortunately, most are quite large, and cant be moved. Theres actually not too many big crevices either, so, with the area narrowed down slightly by the owner, I managed to find the cache reasonably easily. Number 10 for the night, and 19 for the big trip down south.

It was a beautiful day by the bay today
I'd had plenty of time to mull over this cache location in past months. This time I was confident I had narrowed down the cache location
So I once again wandered out over the rocks of promise to the spot I was convinced the cache must be. A minute later and something that wasn't in the script happened. I found the cache [:o]
Now that wasn't too hard was it?
Just think what I'll save on counselling sessions now
TFTC.

I had another crack at this one again today
I must be getting closer, I found a cache 'stash note' and a 'trademark' black garbage bag with yellow draw string amongst the rocks
Still no cache though

Dear If,
You have my deepest sympathies. Do you hate 'em in rocks too?
Cheers,

IF, for your sake I'd love to say that I had a lot of trouble with this one... and I know that this is really going to distress you but... but... I got *really*, *really* lucky and found it in the very first place I looked. Sorry
I tried this one at high tide today, hoping it would narrow down the search area
It didn't help

Fifty-third of seventy-nine finds on the Big Brisbane Assault with HawMorFords doing the driving and navigating. Found at 2025. Geez, I hate 'em in rocks! However, they are infinitely easier when someone shows you where they are. I reckon I paid my dues on this one during my last visit, so I'm not ashamed of taking the GAFF5 find (as pprass would say). Goodbye nemesis cache! I made no exchange. Thanks to THENANKS for the cache, and thanks to HMF for helping me find it.
What are all these fisherpeople doing at our cache location. We had no chance today - we'll leave this for a weekday.
Gotcha
After 8 minutes (I know it was 8 minutes because i was going to give it ten minutes), i found him... the elusive little fella was mine
Oh, By the way i admit it.... i hated this cache... that is, until i found it... now i love it!
Thanks to the Nanks!
PS - the coords are perfect!

Went down and did battle with the seaweed. [B)] Replaced the cache even though we reckon the old one is still there. We have updated the coordinates also. Spinksclan is still the one and only finder for this cache! Happy hunting. You've gotta love 'em in rocks!
I couldn't resist the challenge to have a peek ! Damn fishing muggle only 5metres away wouldn't shift though. I still managed to search a goodly area though
With the piles of seaweed mounting around me, he just kept ignoring me
Probably thought I was Mad as Myers [:o]

Awww.... I wished we'd known about the problems here and hadn't spent so much time looking for it (maybe only 10-15 minutes). We'll add it to the list for next time.
Hmmmmm! That's four DNFs in a row. Perhaps it's time for THENANKS to check this one out to confirm it's still there? (P.S. I'm taking comfort in the fact that others can't find it also. )
After 4 DNF's in a row, we headed out at night to check it out. It appears that a king tide has come in and covered the whole area with seaweed . We will sort it out -it is there. Hold tight you rock lovers and haters .
Had 15 minutes to kill waiting for the ferry to arrive so we decided to shuffle a few rocks around in the vicinity of GZ...minibounders improved their stone skimming technique nearby, but we did not come up with the cache...perhaps if the ferry had been making its way back from New Zealand we may have had time to move all of those rocks and maybe find the cache...but thems the breaks I guess.
I think that you need gloves and heavy earth moving machinery to attack this one. Three adults moving rocks for 15 minutes around GZ failed to locate it. [xx(] It makes me wonder how deep it could be with the other cachers moving rocks and not finding it as well.
Oh well there is a lot more caches out there to get!

To quote a famous member of Australias GeoCaching Royalty........ "Geez I hate 'em in Rocks!"
Geez, I hate 'em in rocks! I wasn't going to try for this one, but as I had just logged "Curlews' Calling Coochie", and I was driving within 50m of it, I thought I'd give it a try. I wish I hadn't. I spent 30 minutes looking, and ended up with two sore hands, one cut finger and one squashed thumb (both of which drew blood), and a twisted ankle. [B)] But, no cache! Like culture50, I moved many rocks, to no avail. I knew what a groyne was, but I had never seen one. Now I feel as though I have built one! Did I mention that I HATE 'EM IN ROCKS?
Could it be true, are the stories right. Yes they are! The spinks have cracked their FIRST TO FIND.

More likely "what's the point". We spent ages picking up rocks and re-laying them -I think we lowered the groin.
Too many rocks, not enough time. I think that Pirate came and plundered this cache and then the gulls or crabs took it away.
I hate 'rock' caches.
Good luck to all those that follow-I think most of Bayside geocachers are out and about this morning trying to tie that Pirate down.
