Just going to temporarily disable so that I don't cop any abuse if anyone goes to look before I can put the new cache container out.
Ok we finally got here for a visit today - OMG you should see the tree clearing that has been done. A bit sad really all around as it has just been decimated here - all cut down and mulched immediately. Access to the cache will be dead easy - and we still believe it is a good spot to visit and see. So just give me a few days and I will put a replacement cache out here.
The MadMyers will go out this weekend and take a look at this cache. I can't imagine where on earth all the vines and underbrush has come from when it was a walk through a park - alongside a pond - admiring a shack on the way - then down another well trodden path!!! But with all the rain we have had who knows???? We will investigate.
Tried to find this cache today with Mr 4Wongs following me while Mrs 4Wongs was staying outside the bush making sure we knew which way to get back out. We had to bush bash the last 50 metres, through thorny vines, armies of mozzies, swamps, and other nasty things. This is no longer a 1.5 terrain - I would classify it as 3 at least as a machete would have been very useful. We got to within 10 metres from GZ when the GPS wanted us on the other side of a creek. I could see someone having climbed up that way but wasn't too keen to add wet feef to my collection of mozzie bites. This cache needs some owner attention I'm afraid...
we found it, but it was out in the open and it was full of water. We were unable to sign the log because of water damage. we covered it back over. Needs a new log book.
This was a didn't find cache. it was a bad way to and the caching streak day. [:(!] I just wanted to kbow where that one was.
Walked in but couldn't get within 50m due to the large amount of overgrown bush and grass. It was almost dark by this time so I didn't fancy cutting my own path in the dark and left.
Not the easiest find but found with 80series1990. the track has over grown now so we had to make are own, plenty of mozzie around
Didn't realise you could drive almost right to the start of the track in, so I walked. Wandered around till I found the cache. TFTC
Deco and Klaus joined the Crew for this cache. Klaus was intent on stalking the ducks and geese and got so excited he dragged Mrs Deco along the ground on her stomach. We thought she might get pulled into the lake but luckily Klaus stopped short.

I had been here before with no luck but as I was in the area with Mrs Deco and Klaus, I suggested that this was a must do cache for the surreal setting. there was a family having a picnic near the lake. Klaus was intent on stalking the ducks and geese and got so excited he dragged Mrs Deco along the ground on her stomach. We thought she might get pulled into the lake but luckily Klaus stopped short.
This time I found the cache in 30 seconds. Don't you hate that? I was here for at least half an hour last time. TNLN. Thanks for bringing me back for another look at the everglades.

What a beautiful hidden spot. Especially loved the shack - could be a bit "blue bayou" couldn't it? Did see some magpie geese too but sadly there is also plenty of rubbish floating in the pond - I'm guessing from storm water runoff. Found this one quite easily. Thanks for bringing me to this great spot madmyers - SVN07
This one took some getting into. Round and Round we went. [:o)][:o)]
Then there are the water hazards.
Then there are the Geese traps.
Then there is the tree cover which play havoc with the birds.
Lock. What Lock.
Like looking for a needle in a forest.
But you get lucky sometimes.
Clear skies and thanx again madmyers from TeamAstro. [^]
I had four to find today, and found three of them but this one eluded me. GPS was all over the place in the trees so could not find it at all. Saw the shack, it looked a bit unstable. However just wandered rather aimlessly around the trees following a GPS. Also took a poor turn at one point and was ankle deep in smelly mud. Glad it was the final cache for the day as have come home for a lovely shower.
This was my second visit and with Everlasting's hint I found the cache almost straightaway! Don't ask me why I didn't find it before! Thanks to Everlasting and to Madmyers for this hunt.
Found while out with Lat&Long Junkie today. What a great thing to have in your back yard. Thouroughly enjoyed the look around. Thanks for bringing me here.
Wow, water bird heaven around this place. Found with 'bedmaker' after a delightful walk to GZ. TN/LN/SL. We had a look at the shack on the way out. Quite mysterious ... why indeed?
Great spot!
I introduced some of my friends to geocaching....the GPS sent us wandering around a little...but they were determined to see what i had been on about all the time so we didnt give up. Found it in the end and had heaps of fun
Thank you

Found tftc - I have to say, ive never seen a bunch of kids move so quick when a man dress in blue walks up the the "shack" i think its used for other "recreactional" activities. I would suggest a weekday for this cache, looks like its frequented by these kids.
Cache is still there - tucked away nicely in it's hidey hole. Nice and dry and in perfect condition.
The MadMyers are going on a maintenance run this weekend - will check on this one then.
What a wonderful, mysterious spot. The GPS had me wandering around a bit but could not locate the cache.
I won't be disappointed that I have to return here again.

Easy find this time - I knew all of this area very well after my previous visit - Yes top spot - cache of the day even though it is my second visit.
This really is a great little spot but the GPS was not my friend here today.
After circumnavigating the magpie geese landing zone I was still none the wiser. The way my GPS behaved I have no idea which side I should be on. The geo-trails were of no help as it would appear many have tramped the same ground before me.
After 45 min I considered it best to move on. If I'd found it it would have got my cache of the day award for location - maybe another day.

Done a couple over here on the way to Dreamworld. Nice spot. Had a few bites at it to work out the right way. Thanks.

Found the cache at 4.10pm. Gosh wow - I wish I live there so it was so excellent view. TNLNLSL. Thank you for organise the hunt.
Finally able to get this one. Came early enough that the mozzies were still asleep. TNLN. SL. Very peaceful early in the day and the ducks were active as it wasn't too hot yet. Love the shed/structure. Nice to imagine what it was like in good repair.
With our brand new GPS we set off to begin a new day of caching - free of any dropouts under trees!!
Took: nothing

Well today the GPS was not playing fair nor were the mossies. A zillion of them swarmed on us as we entred after a very quick search we departed for the aeroguard.
Back agin soon.
Back agin soon.
Like others the GPS didnt play fair. Just about to give it away and there it was.tnlnsl
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 2:10pm. A lovely set of lakes for water birds. Not easy to get to GZ after the recent rain as I had to cross the outlet running over the end of the lake. TNLNSL TFTC.
We loved this spot - it was quite enchanting. After finding the cache we shared our lunch with the ducks and a turtle. We took some nice photos of this lovely area. Thanks madmyers
THENANKS met up with Wingaap to have a go at this cache. There was such a variety of water birds! [^] After getting rid of some inquisitive local children we ventured a little further and discovered the cache.
IN : dolphin rubber and a candle
OUT: Australia wrist band
We loved this place! Thanks Mad ones!

Teamed up with The Nanks for this one. After a wee bit of a false start (we ventured into private property...ooops) we were soon on the trail. After talking to a few local children explaining that we were out counting geese etc and in turn having the sad details of how one had died recently related to me ...I was finally able to join my hosts in the search.
A truly delightful spot...
Many thanks for the cache and the introduction to the area

Great spot, my navigation skill where a bit off, I had us on the wrong side of the pond/creek so we backed tracked and finally made our way to GZ. Took a bit of finding, it was right were we thought it would be, but did we look there, NO, the GPS was sending us all over the place. Thank for the cache Madmyers we enjoyed it.

Took awhile to work out where we should enter due to the private property seeming to overlap with the public space. A really pretty area and we took photos of the mapie geese and the old structure. Had a little difficulty locating the cache and then common sense prevailed and we were on the money. TNLN.
First problem was actually finding the way into this park. I did find a new short cut on the bike under the railway line
Retracing my steps I finally discovered the way. The magpie geese guided me [8)]
A really beautiful area is tucked away in here. Thanks for a great cache.

13:13hrs Approached fromt he wrong angle and got cut off by water retraced our steps to success. TFTC.
Great spot! Found it eventually. The GPS wanted us to go somewhere I didn't really want to go. Check some more obvious spots first and came up with the cache. No swaps today. SL. Thanks for the cache.
I'm sure this would be a beautiful spot in the day... it wasn't so pretty at night. With cobwebs in my face, burs in my socks and water in my shoes, I was relieved when the cache was finally found (GPS reception is patchy in here).
I TNLN when I found it at 19:30, my 9th of 16 finds in the company of Mr Hawmorfords.

This turned out to be a real challenge - The reception was quite patchy and TGF and i scratched around for what seemed like ages - probably 15 or 20 minutes elapsed before the cache was revealed.
No swaps - though i'm sure a dry pair of socks for TGF would have been snapped up! #8 for the night.

aaaargh! my my, FIRST TO PLUNDER!,this place re'minded me of sail'in up the lousi'anna swamp, lots of quack' quacks' here this morn'in, great chain of pond's and that shack is straight out'a film set! tn, left scal'ope!,thanks MM.
The MadMeyers have certainley been busy and a little tast of the US here thought we was down by the "BAYOU" just couldn't see the catfish. What a pretty spot. Thanks for this hide really took us away.
