Thanks to Pocketrocket&friends for letting us know about the trees being cleared. I now do a monthly drive to Beaudesert for work so I will replace asap.

pocketrocket&friends arrived at the location ready to give some family members the experience of caching.
Unfortunately, the retrieval was unsuccessful- searched for quite some time before pondering if the cache was in the trees that had been chopped down recently.
Perhaps a check is needed to make sure!
Thanks

Found with geonephews this afternoon, out on their first cache hunt. None of them our scouts, even though they live in this area, so it was exciting for them to see where the scout hall is. Great little stroll for the bush, not too long, not too short for them. The youngest nephew (5) asked what we would do if we got lost. Given we could still see the car from ground zero, we decided we'd be okay, maybe camp out for the night and find our way back at first light. Left T's geocoin, took nothing. Thanks TheNanks!

Great cache that i have been meaning to get to for ages...I have spent many evenings here as a scout parent, and as a district leader.. All of my kids went through scouts in the area. and this den is often used as a meeting place when several groups need to get together..

Took a snake, and left a key ring..

Dropped "BSA(Boy Scouts of America) troop 87 team challange" TB

This was our 18th of 27 finds for the day.

We were getting a bit tired with a busy day of caching nearly behind us so it didn't phase us to drive in the out entrance and out the in entrance - no one else was here after all and putting the car into reverse is just oh so hard.

I imagine the scouts would love it here... the surrounding bushland is so nice and spacious & they obviously use it for their games as we saw several markers in the bush & even a mug hanging up in a tree.

At GZ we found the cache easily at 3:44pm and took a balloon in exchange for some stickers.

The muggle scouts nearby didn't pay us much attention even after one of our attack dogs charged them. Bolter was only trying to be friendly and was very upset when they didn't want to play with him. TNLN. Cache was not covered very well so we tried to improve it.
