I don't plan on replacing this cache due to the suggestions re disturbing the gardens and needle awareness. I totally agree with them.

24-Apr-09
In the area so thought I'd have a look. As with a number of other caches hereabouts, the flood has flushed the undergrowth of all leaf litter ... no sign of the cache that I could find. TFTC BaffledHarveys.

31-Mar-09
Disabled until I can check that cache still exists!

28-Mar-09
Found lots of other things, including the remains of a pen but not the cache, will try next time.

15-Mar-09
Oh, the cache is probably still there, but I'm not too keen on these ones where the gardens need to be dug up like the results of a bush turkey search. These days with 'needle' awareness also put me off.

15-Mar-09
Had a pretty good look for this cache with weroamin but it eluded us. A pity that the gardens have to be disturbed in the search though. Think this one has been muggled.

19-Feb-09
The lake looks like it could use a good clean out but the birds appear to like it.

Nice easy find. Took Geocoin. TFTC

01-Feb-09
After brekkie on a cloudy Sunday afternoon it was geocaching time. The Geo Knights were out to find some caches. Quick one, easy find.

It is such a beautiful place! We had the pleasure of seeing the water hens and thier new families. We went in late afternoon and their was wildlife everywhere - one of the monkeys were scared they may have been deposited on by one of the many birds around - oh well!

The area is just gorgeous!

We deposited DK TB to continue his stomp!

By the time we picked up Dad from work, today's rain had turned into a monsoon but we decided to go for this one anyway. A beautiful spot, pity we couldn't see the birds through the downpour but who cares how soaked you are when you find the cache! I thought I had looked everywhere when Dad the cache king demonstrated his prowess once again. The littlest geo kid braved the rain while the older one sat smugly in the car eating Minties.

01-Jan-09
Nice location for a Cache. Lovely view of the lakes.
We found this one rather quickly. It is the first cache I have found.
I didnt take anything, And I only left a log in the log book.

Dropped in geocoin.

31-Aug-08
Grabbed this one on our way back to Brissy. I could just imageine cyclists hurtling down this path and either crashing into the wall or misjudging the corner and ending up very wet. I think council were having a malicious joke day when they planned this path!!! Pretty spot, thanks.

31-Jul-08
Yep, just like how my mate ADV tells it ( the bonus of being the second logger!)

Lovely spot, grabbed a pic, thanks for the cache.

31-Jul-08
Indeed, a good spot. We got a fright when a cyclist came hurtling down the track and pulled up suddenly beside us. Turns out he got more of a scare as the track ends suddenly with a rock wall in front which he didn't know about. So, quick word of encouragement to help him calm his nerves and he was on his way and we were able to locate the cache.
SL, Many thanks...

21-Jul-08
Found cache this afternoon in good condition. Sat a while after signing the logbook to enjoy the colours and waterfowl on the water. SL. Thanks for the cache and reminder of this spot. I remember seeing a hovercraft a few years ago using the other side of the river.

I'd written in my book One for the ducks which is appropriate given that it rained heavily last Monday and more today. Still again we enjoyed walking in the park and finding the caches.

First for the day and cache two hundred and thirty on day nine of our Brisvegas trip, the cache was found at 0835 in the company of chewinprickles. We had stayed in the town all week so we thought we better log these caches before we go home, this was a nice area and a good day for ducks as it was raining again. Thanks BaffledHarveys for the cache.

22-Feb-08
We found this lovely place to stop for lunch about 12.30pm and were amazed that there were no muggles to be seen. It must have been too hot for the birds today - there weren't many to be seen.
Found the cache easily. TNLN.
Thanks BaffledHarveys

04-Nov-07
We had the car parked over at "Twenty Lakes" and decided to walk over to this cache as it was close by. We searched around for a little while, but the cache info was back in the car. So after walking back to the car, we soon had the required info, and set about returning to find the cache. Unfortunately we also found a used syringe whilst trying to find the cache. The cache was found soon after and we moved on to the next cache

First find for the day. Found it with my Father who I was visiting. Great spot to hide a cache, close to a road but out of sight of passing muggles.I found the first part of the clue a little misleading, however we found it with some searching. TFTC.

19-Aug-07
Rain does wonders for keeping muggles away. Found after searching in 2 other places and trying to triangulate the location away from the trees.
Water in lake is getting low. Ducks out in this weather.

We did, however, have a seat to watch the birds for a bit.

7:25pm
Nice easy find on the way home from a trip to the pictures with a local lass. Had previously attempted this one what appears to be hours before it was reopened, so was good to get my hands on it. Guard geese must have been given the night off, else they reckoned the rain would be enough deterrent.
Took Paul TB. Left nothing.

Nice location to visit after a visit to the park and the Twenty lakes cache which is actualy a similar size cache even though this one is maked down as Small. Dispite being next to a busy road, this is actually a very peaceful location and a good spot to sit and relax. The kids exchanged a few items and we exchanged a Koala TB with a Jackalope TB. TFTC.

Those "guard geese" weren't doing a very good job! Yes, Wingers was the first one to find the cache....again today Smile

Found at 6.45pm, on the way back to bribie Island. Nice easy find, although I believe a 1 terrain rating may be stretching it just a tad, unless the wheelie has off road tyres.

Our second attempt at this one and today we were successful in finding the cache. Thanks guys

04-Feb-07
This was a nice, quick find on our day caching in and around Caboolture. [^] There was a couple of aspirin in the cache so we took those out as we thought they probably not appropriate to be left there.

Apart from that we made no swaps as the naughty geoboys were argueing over what they wanted [:(!]

We said HI! to the TB Travelling Tim who we'd met before, before heading off to find a nearby cache.

Thanks Big Grin

29-Jan-07

Raced in hoping for a quick grab but there were muggles at the lakes edge and another muggle nearby. Fortunately both lots left fairly quickly to leave me to search in peace.

Located the cache with surprisingly good GPS reception given the trees. TFTC

15:00 - 19/01/2007

Found what I believe to be the hiding place, but looks like it isn't back on deck yet. Just dropped past as part of a caching afternoon on the off chance. Looks like it'd be a pretty good spot, though.

We found this cache today as our 3rd for the year. It was found in the open with the lid off and has been placed in a secure location with details sent to Baffled Harveys to enable them to replace it in its correct location. Great view, not many ducks around today though.

Left: Compass
Took: Garfield Toy

Find 3/5 today

30-Dec-06
Stopped in to leave some swaps and to pick up the geocoin to take it for a trip to Brisbane, sadly I didn't find any caches in my search today so will take the geocoin on my trip to wigaaapville next week.

Edited to say it was well hidden in the original spot when I left it, noone around to see me there at the time.
