On our way to the Sunny Coast we stopped for a quick leg stretch. After a quick walk to GZ we located the cache. TFTC. . Not a fan of walking in these sort of location with open shoes this time of year.
Tftc crew 153, Stop off on our way north. Ground very wet underfoot. No problem with finding this one Thanks
Happy to say I found Ettamogah and I still call this area Ettamogah even tho the pub has gone. I had to meet some people here not too long ago - Lets meet at Ettamogah Pub we said. Some of us refuse to change. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks so much Crew 153 for bringing me here.
Popped in to get fuel and thought Id take a look. So pleased there was a pen in the box because I hadnt taken a pencil. Also glad to be doing this in winter as Im sure in summer this would be Joe Blake Territory.TFTC
I noticed this cache because it is one of QLDs oldest. Im surprised I hadnt noticed it before that though, being a local. Today we were on our way home from a day out up the hinterland range and were passing the famous pub, so a visit here was a definite. Wow!! What a hidden gem of rainForest highlighted here! That was lovely one of my favourite hiding places. Very glad we stopped.
After a week of yard work at parents on Bribie Island, Mr CNQ started the trip back north with a few caches along the way. This one was in good condition and located quickly, thanks for the cache.
Out and about and caching before the CITO with RoddyC Princess 1005 MummaBear66 imbunda and pool pool.Working an area that has been we had been in before and now with a lot of new caches now added.Nearly an oldie 100. Nice to get this one too TFTCache Crew 153
Out and About Geocaching in the Caloundra region with RoddyC, Hatzofff, Princess 1005, MummaBear66, imbundaWhat a fun dayout on the Sunshine Coast !!!Interesting history of the local pub !!!Glad to find this oldie, TFTC Crew 153
Up here for the day with an ambitious list. Saw this place in the distance and remembered there was a cache here so in I came. Ran into Mumma bear and one of her cubs and saw hatzofff and RoddyC too in the carpark. Seems to be on a few lists today.TFTC
After another lovely evening at the Caloundra music festival enjoying,Spiderbait, 1927 and arrested development it was our last morning on the coast. Packed up the van and headed to Moffat for a big breaky and then off for. Spot of caching.Found a suitable spot to park the car and took a short stroll to ground zero where it did not take long ro spy the prize. Extracted the log and signed my name for prosperity, returning the cache to its safe hiding place before returning to the geowagon . Ready to head to the next find.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by fellow cachersCheers
The bush looks like it might have been magnificent back before milling judging by the size of the tree stumps.
Caching on the Sunshine Coast today with Kolour and geodoggo Bella, after attending the event at Buderim this morning we targeted nearby caches and a small collection of oldies.
The cache was quickly found, log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks Crew 153 for the cache.

Today Willis007 and I came up to Buderim for an event and found a few caches afterwards.
I was glad to see that it wasn’t near all of the touristy stuff, as we headed towards the forest.
Made our way to gz which we circled without seeing anything at first but once we started digging in hidey holes with a stick, the well hidden cache revealed itself.
I placed the book in plastic bag for safe keeping and added a red golf ball that I found halfway between the grassy area and gz.
I can remember when the original building was built - it was the year we lived on the coast in 1989 - we knew exactly what it was going to be. Tftc

Out and about with MummaBear & the cubs exploring the wonders of the Sunny Coast and surrounding areas.
The goal for the day was to work towards this months challenge, so the main focus was to find caches with high favourite points and any others we’d come across.
We had a great day out and I’m sure we’ll be back again soon as we’re not even close to completing this months challenge.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Today Peppa and I are on our way to the Sunshine Coast to attend the event planned for today but have started early to grab caches before and after.
After our drive up it was time for a toilet break and a reason to look for this cache. Peppa had already found this so was an easy find. Log signed cache returned.
I remember visiting the Ettamogah pub next Holbrook NSW in the 80's while on a road trip to visiting family. Also have many of the comics from that series.

On a family trip with muggle mother and d@geo to QLD for early celebration of sons 21st. With so many caches we had a targeted cache list - this cache was on mine.
Some one missed the turnoff on the way back from spending the moring at the Glass House Mountains - not naming name (d@geo) and we had to double back but in the end thanks to muggle mother we had the cache in hand.

Found while road tripping with mezza74 and a muggle mother visiting family up at the Sunshine Coast. Between us we had a few targeted caches we wanted to get including this one for Mezza74. Spent the morning in and around the Glass House Mountains calling in on the way home for the find. Have to give this find to muggle mother (she is pickled pink she spotted it before me)

Driving from Gatton to Sunshine Coast through Kilroy was the plan today. Hopefully collecting a few of the rose caches as well as some high favourite caches on the way.
I didn’t get as many of the rose caches as I would have liked but certainly made up for that with a number of other caches. Some very very cleaver caches that have given inspiration.
Tftc.
Great to find this old cache. Even the business name has changed

So glad today's ride came this way. Tftc, but thankyou even more for placing near the Lolly Shop! I loaded up, but think I should place a cache out here to encourage me back to a great spot.
This 15 year old had to be found. Loved the old cartoons of this pub so funny to read and seeing what the animals etc were doing in each. Thanks for maintaining this old girl.

Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed north to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland to visit a few of the scenic mountain villages of Montville and Mapleton in the Blackall Ranges. We started the day with a visit to Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve and completing that virtual cache, and then stopped at a few lookouts on our way to Montville. We then had a nice walk around Montville completing the the *Montville Meandering* Adventure Lab and stopped for lunch. We then closed out the day by completing the *A Lap Around The Circuit...(at least)* in Mapleton, and returned home.
On our way home from our day's adventures, we needed to make a stop for petrol, and so this was one of the last places with cheaper < $1.50/L fuel, compared to the $1.75-$1.80 range that Brisbane's fuel had changed to, so it was worth the short detour. We decided to grab this cache whilst making the nearby stop, and so after trudging through the bushland, and looking in a few logical large tree trunks, we soon spotted the nicely camouflaged hiding spot. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and I took the TB for onwards travels. Thanks Crew 153 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 12/2006 hidden cache too, which was in the list of Queensland's 500 oldest geocaches!

Just dropped the kids at Aussie World and have a few hours up my sleeve for a little geocaching in the area. That counts as exercise doesn’t it, just before a hard lockdown? Nice quick find thanks for the cache crew 153
Shortly after I met up with smallwombat, we had a search for this cache. A short search and I came up with the goods. Dropped off a TB I have possessed for far too long. Thanks for the cache Crew 153!
GPS points to what would seem to be a good hidey hole but no luck today. Bring your bug spray
It’s not so easy to get in here these days but I navigated the roadworks and made a quick find. Thanks for the cache

Having attended a CITO to start the day, the rest of the day was planned out relatively meticulously Pprime style. The goal was to grab some older caches around the Sunshine Coast. Although Pprime had done this one ages ago, I made a special request to stop in here so I could grab this one before we continued on to the rest of the plans. So, while Pprime grabbed a coffee, I made the dash over and in to begin my search. I arrived at the likely spot but ended up doing a loop or two around before I finally worked out where the cache was.
Log signed, it was another mad dash back to the car where Pprime had returned with caffeination and was awaiting our departure.
Thanks for the cache Crew 153.
Nice to get another Crew153 vintage cache.

Today was supposed to be a tree climbing day! But, as with all plans, things didn't go to plan. The sporadic rain meant that some of the trees we wanted to climb were a bit unsafe. But thankfully, we managed to get P' through his fourth loop (wahoo! congratulations matey ) and I managed to get my 2000th cache. Wahoo - happy days all around.
This was a relatively easy find, but unfortunately the access is somewhat difficult due to the proximity of civil works for the new roads in the area. Great to grab another old cache - log and cache are in great condition.

Heading North to collect the kiddos for the weekend, slowly working my way through the four thousand caches between home and Cooroy - long way to go, putting pocket queries to good use and creating routes.
Only a few caches today, they're getting further off the highway which in turn is making them longer detours but it's all worth it.
Drove through the worlds biggest muddiest hole (just because I'm a child and I can) before parking up. GPS were seriously not helping today so I just found the biggest mound and hoped for the best and sure enough a cache was there.
Cache was in good condition and thanks for placing it.

On a rush trip tonight I only had time to sneak in 2 caches on my trip so it was Ettamogah and Skirmish as my targets. Made it just in time before night set in.
Ettamogah is in good condition and a relatively easy find, although no trackables in cache as per details. Was going to drop one off but thought if one is missing already then the chances another could go as well. Was good to get an oldie, thanks for maintaining it and keeping it going.
As it was just up the ways I then went and did Skirmish, quick find log in good condition and replaced and then on my way. Thanks for the cache.

After a 33-days trip in New Zealand, my brother and I come to pay a quick visit to our cousin who lives in Agnes Water for a while. We take a break here to eat ans rest a little.
When we leave I see that this cache is very close. And I see its GC. I can't resist an old cache: I go looking for it and after some search I get my hands on it. A new country and an old GC: I do two in one with this cache.
Thanks for the cache Crew 153 and for maintaining it. Hello from two Frenchies, far from home but so happy to discover Australia (and sorry for my poor english and the Google traduction).

To mapleton to celebrate wedding anniversary. On our way home, we stopped for this cache.
We had looked for this one many years ago with no luck. And now I know why. We found it today, but with so many hiding spots, a GPSr not so reliable under the cover, and a well hidden cache it's no wonder. Mrs PetalKids found it though.

I was out this way yesterday exploring my way around from sippy downs..
Down pot-holed, multi-gated forgotten dirt roads, i somehow managed to arrive at palmview and it's handful of caches.
In my excitement to arrive at the seemingly inaccessible caches here (no bikes on the bruce highway, sounds sensible enough, yet makes getting here by bike a challenge from the north) i must have somehow overlooked the hide in my twenty odd minute blunder around the scrub, as today i went directly to it and was signing in seconds. Weird.
How did i not see that yesterday.
Thanks crew153 for putting a cache out here thirteen odd years back!

Hopefully they just took it away to sign.
So random.
Nada in the obvious spots though.

We had said goodbye to Slow Puncture at the last cache and were now headed for home. Driving past Aussie World, Mrs 4ando decides that she needs a coffee so we pull off the highway and before getting coffee we pull out the app ‘just in case.’ What do you know, there’s one just over there, making the short walk over we make the grab before heading back for coffee and gelato.

What a shame the old Ettamogah has been revamped into The Pub. Another distinct icon gournnn!!
An old mate of my fathers left Victoria to take up a shop lease when the Ettamogah opened. The owners reneged on the deal after he uprooted the family but he stayed to consume alcoholic beverages with the old man. I'm still trying hard to get close to that total of beers consumed.
No matter, today's run started with a very early start to pick up quality Sunny Coast caches. On the journey round the Sunny Coast chasing "where i go POIs", came to this spot and since the pie shop and The Pub were closed, the next best thing was to chase down an Ettamogah relic.
Look at the size of some of these stumps. What it would have looked like a few 100 years ago. Cache quickly spotted. Thanks for a worthy tribute cache Crew 153.

No matter, today's run started with a very early start to pick up quality Sunny Coast caches. On the journey round the Sunny Coast chasing "where i go POIs", came to this spot and since the pie shop and The Pub were closed, the next best thing was to chase down an Ettamogah relic.
