Tried to find this one on our two day visit to Russell Island. Although there were some pretty obvious spots we couldn't find the container. We strongly believe it's gone missing. Thanks for the initial hide though.
No joy for us on this one, poked around base of gum trees in the area but no luck, even went back a second time. Thanks for the hunt anyway.
Took bikes over to Island. Easy find. Lots of people about. Took 2 trinkets and left 2 more. TFTC

Took us a few minutes to locate as we weren't really sure what size container we were looking for. Coords good so when we concentrated our search at GZ we hit the spot.

This is not the first time I've looked for this one, but I knew it had been replaced but hadn't looked for it til now. I had a bad feeling as I started to look for it, but luckily I found it fairly quickly today. TNLN TFTC.
There were 5 pairs of eyes searching for it for 15 minutes and we were about to give up when Coral spotted it from a distance. TNLN.
Our first find on our Island Time adventure with thepiggies. Bee3 found this one. Co-ordinates are good, hint is good and the container is smaller as previously rumored. TFTC.
Well we searched and searched and searched for this one with Hothead while waitng for mal to return from another cache, but we were unsuccessful, even with 3 other teams in toe...still no go. [:-(]
Well sometimes I guess it helps to have a hot line - with a little help we found it. Boy you could surely see that some serious rock moving by geocachers had taken place here. Rocks rocks everywhere - but the cache was so easy to find once you knew basically where to look.
Ahhh, so it was replaced and then disappeared to the lower levels with the hail of rocks. I think this one better be put somewhere else as all the searching has just about emptied the retaining wall. Even though Mrs Lat&Long and I missed the ferry, we had a pleasant chat with lochb and jabes7 while waiting for the next one. Even met the nanks again. What a great socialising day it was.
Tried later in the afternoon with Mr and Mrs Lat&Long Junkie and jabes, but gave up in frustration. Also missed the ferry and had to wait for an hour. I was later told that the replaced container had followed the rocks and disappeared to a lower level...
Together with 2 other teams had no luck. Heard it was replaced later in the day.
We were one of the first ferry groups to arrive at Russell Island as part of the Island Time event cache. With almost 6 different teams searching for between 45mins and an hour prior to the arrival of the ferry to take us to island 2 for the morning we all came up empty handed. Even with a clue from a fellow cacher who had previously found the cache we were unable to locate it.
Leaving the island we passed other caching groups who had just arrived at Russell Island and we later learnt that they had replaced the cache while they were there perhaps next time we are over this way we will come get it but with others to find today and lunch followed by home beckoning us we decided to give it a miss!

Believe the cache had gone missing and the Cooroy Scouts had replaced it. We were in the company of The MadMyers, and Liz and Bruce. We could see that there had been much searching in the area, which could have made the find harder. Two GPS units were pointing to one spot. After having 8 sets of eyes search for it, The Myers put a call into the Scouts, and found it was <-> this much -> that way. Mr MadMyers had it hand, we signed it and decided that walking to Russelling in the Bush was too far to make it back in time for next ferry (1.1 km each way), which keight and Mongy were glad for, cause they are now stuffed
We were pleased we were on a later ferry for this one. Womblywoo found it and told me it was worth hobbling from the ferry to have a peek. Not difficult when given directions. Thanks for replacing the cache. TNLNSL.
Was searching hard when Cooroy Scouts and PowellBruce wandered along, after 4 of us and 3 GPSr's (and we even got the attetion of a local muggle who tried to help... "maybe someone found it already?") Cooroy Scounts came out with a container 'that they prepared earlier' which we placed where we thought this one should be. Thought the cachers after us might appreciate something to find.
Found completely by accident/luck! (Or just plain skill ) within a few minutes of looking!
Thanks for replacing the cache!
Thanks for replacing the cache!
Last cache for the day unable to find found everdence of others searchings but had acouple of muggles on bikes looking at us so left to try again another day.
Unable to find after some searching, but a wasp nest told us we should be searching elsewhere.
We searched for this cache in the company of Urdera, The Lost Bunch, CaleD and HotHead as part of the Island Time event cache. Although we had up to about 9 people searching for about 40 minutes and got some outside help from a previous finder, we could not find it.
We later learned that Cooroy Scouts had replaced the cache for the benefit of later starters than us.

On a Bay Island caching day with Lat&Long Junkies. We looked everywhere for this one with no luck. Is it there??
This was not an auspicious start to the day. Mrs Lat&Long, Bedmaker and I spent almost an hour looking for this one. We even rang a couple of help lines. Memories were a bit foggy (it hasn't been found for 9 months!!) but Mrs Nanks gave us our best clue. Unfortunately, nothing seemed to change the fact that this was going to be a D.N.F.
Oh the arrogance of the new geocacher... I thought 'look low', walked right up to the 'obvious' spot, thought 'that's it', had a dig around - no cache. I looked and looked, high and low, thinking terrain 4? After much time spent, had to decamp as muggle was leaning on windowsill watching me in the end. I'll have to go back.
I have been very remiss at logging this trackable. It came for a visit to this cache a little while ago.
Well once we found this one we had to bribe the kids with an icecream so as we could get to the final cache we were after for the afternoon. It;s amazing what kids will do for an icecream. TFTC.
Clever hide, found without too much trouble. TN left a ball. Thanks for the series around the islands
aaaargh!,found with me new crew ye' hawmorfords!,with ye black skull moored up ye' locals gave us a some advice not to be to long as the tide was starting to rip out, with that we were off on a mission and it was'nt to long before this was hooked out! thanks ftc.
Today was the day to sail the bay with a real Pirate - how excited Denise and I were !!!
We've had this planned for a couple of months now and have been looking forward to our big day out very much.
Yowie series 2 was our fifth find of the day aboard the Black Skull.
Absolutely no sign of The Plank as yet.......We figure if we just keep finding the caches we will be ok Actually, Pirate found this one.... we were miles away.
Thanks to ozcymru for the cache.

The first of our excursion with THENANKS and Broc. Though an overcast and wet day we decided to go ahead with our adventure to visit all the nearby islands and find the caches thereon. Quite a novelty cruising on the water taxi to the island. The cache was an easy find not far from where the water taxi left us. We had some time to explore a bit further before we hopped on the water taxi again. TNLN. Thanks ozcymru

THENANKS were out caching as a family and sharing the adventure with "Liz and Bruce". It was an overcast day but we decided to go ahead with our plans. This was our first find of the day and a nice easy one. We continued further, exploring the island and even placed a new cache to hopefully draw a few more visitors to our lovely bay islands.

Yowie, what a fun day out on the bay
This was my last stop on the Yowie series island tour. Thanks ozcymru for the fun cache chase.
It took a little while longer to russel up this cache. But common sense won out in the end
I took the Kids Geocoin #1 and left Eat at Joe's travel bug.
TFTC.
