Several things have changed since I placed this cache 18 years ago(!). Both with the cache location and in my life. It is time for this one to go. Many thanks to all who found it and apologies to those who might have been about to.

Found before our MCG tour. Mr S had solved it before leaving home, and Little Shoes made the grab. No logbook so signed and added a piece of paper. Container no longer closes properly. Signed as The Shoes x3, TFTC.

Picked up a couple to tbs that want to head to NZ so as Im heading to Perth needed a cache in town that could house them so heading here was a high priority.Found my way around to the container and claimed the find quickly.TBs successfully deposited I returned everything as found and headed on my way. Spending the day waking around Melbourne before flying home to Perth this evening.I stayed close to the city grabbing caches and adventure labs.Had a break in the middle of the day due to rain but got back at it in the afternoon.Sitting in the lounge heading for home Ive collected 8 finds, 24 adventure labs and 0 DNFs. Thanks go to Alansee for placing and maintaining the Mystery cache The Big Game for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 12:31 on 3/4/2024.This is find number 8823 for me.

Solved the puzzle quite some time ago after a few tries, had the right idea but the wrong features. At GZ poker around a bit without luck, but after reading some logs I got the right idea and made a quick grab and sign. Tftc

Marvel at my persistence! Have been to Melbourne a few times in the past, so checked the map to see whether there were any DNFs to clear; [this was one](https://coord.info/GLY9EN1X), from my most recent visit back in 2019... Quickly redid the numbers before leaving the UK and ended up visiting an hour or so before kick off... Still, it wasn't too busy, and no one seemed too interested in what I was doing. So, with some trepidation (having read a recent log mentioning a spider), I ventured in and made a quick find. No idea why I failed to spot it last time. Very pleased to put this one to bed. Nice puzzle, greetings from England, TFTC!

17-Feb-24
I was at the MCG today to work at the Taylor Swift show. Just a casual 96,000 people inside and 10,000 more outside. Those outside are called Taylorgaters apparently. So I arrived early and went for a quick search for this cache which had eluded me last time I looked here. After a quick search I located the cache and signed the log. There were a few Swifties around but they didn't really worry about what I was doing more excited about Tay Tay and the whole concert experience. TFTC

This was a great, unique puzzle that was a pleasure to solve. Perfect for whiling away those minutes waiting for the rain to pass and play to resume. The acquisition of the cache itself proved equally challenging and fun. It took a few visits before I was passing by without hordes of muggles either arriving or departing. Then, the first time I felt I had an appropriate window of opportunity, I only managed to conclude that I had the wrong angle of attack. The correct angle would have to wait. Today, after leaving the tennis, the stars were aligned. The muggles were few, and I ensured the correct approach from the outset. Sure enough, the prize was waiting for me, exactly where it was supposed to be. A favourite from me. Thanks for pulling off a great MGC cache.

That puzzle was something else. It took me hours and I hadnt a clue of how to solve this puzzle. I read many logs and came across some that pointed me in the right direction and finally got what I needed to focus on. I used google earth to help with what I was looking for, but unfortunately I was still lost on how to place the knowledge into the coordinates. Finally , I messaged a previous finder who ultimately put me on the right track and I was able to use google earth to figure out each number and put them into the coordinates. It took me about 5 more goes on the geochecker, the first 3 reasons being a completely wrong calculation and the last 2 being my maths skills. On the last try , success! Im heading to the G in about 2 weeks and will be logging the cache find when I do so. Fast forward and Im here to search for the cache.First search: made a mistake to try and look on the bridge and after the test matchSecond search: deserted but saw a big spider Third search: dodged the spider (still there) and found it! Hurrah! My first mystery!I now know I am pretty bad at puzzles, need practice! Thanks for the challenge. TFTC

A nice puzzle which we managed to solve beforehand. GZ had us searching for a little bit before the sneaky hide literally fell open when I touched it. Clip on one end was missing. Needed to replace it in a slightly less hidden location, otherwise the lid would come off. TFTC Alansee

Jimmy and Goldy are spending the weekend in Melbourne to see the Melbourne vs Carlton AFL Semi Final game.We managed to purchase two tickets to the sold out game via Ticketek Marketplace. We got very lucky, being online at the exact moment they were up for grabs.Obviously, we'll also be geocaching while we are here. I'm aiming to grab a few challenge caches and solved mysteries during our time here as well. The AFL game didn't disappoint and we got lots of caching in as well. It was good to meet people at our event in St Kilda as well.We were nearby this cache and probably walked within a few metres last night. However, with 96,000 people walking out, sounding car horns and waving flags... the chances of finding the cache would have been impossible. We returned today to specifically find this cache as I really wanted a 2006 mystery. It was much quieter today!I soon realised where the cache would be, so Jimmy was left as lookout and I went to fetch the cache. The hiding spot was quickly found. I used the phone camera to make sure I wasn't going to touch a big spider or something cos I've had a few particularly nasty interactions recently.I added our names to the log book and when Jimmy confirmed the coast was clear, I made my way out. A nice puzzle, made sense eventually. After this cache we went for an MCG tour, which gave us a deeper appreciation of the ground, so this cache tied in well today. Thanks Alansee for this mystery cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3570 on the 16th of September 2023.CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it! Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

We solved the puzzle a couple of weeks ago whilst at a game, made the find today whilst wondering around Melbourne collecting some caches. The size was a big hint for us about where the cache was hiding. TFTC and puzzle

29-Aug-23
Well just before I left I worked on this puzzle with a few friends. After finding the right piece of information and the right orientation, we solved the puzzle. This evening after the conference I took a walk to the cache site. Got there an suspected where the cache would be, but it felt like it should have been off limits. Anyways after entering the zone and dodging the spider webs I found the cache in good condition. Thanks for the puzzle and cache.

Did the groundwork for this cache some time ago and as in Melb for Juliet found on way home. Be very careful touching stuff here - there were syringes.
Great multi otherwise and good hiding spot regardless

On a week long family holiday to Melbourne & had to head to the 'G' to watch a game, luckily my husbands team Hawthorne was playing but sadly they didn't get a win. Luckily I'd been given a hint on how to solve this puzzle as I'm not sure I would have figured it out on my own, a very clever idea for a puzzle. As we'd done the nearby ad lab & bonus & some virtuals after the game most of the crowd had dispersed & it was not too difficult to grab the cache without drawing any undue attention.
Thanks for the puzzle & cache Alansee

Visiting from Port Macquarie.
Great puzzle, didn't have too much trouble solving it. Quiet enough around gz today to search without issue, quick find once on the right side of the fence.
Thanks for the cache

A recent walk past gave me the information I needed to work out the coordinates, which I did while on the train to Geelong yesterday for a CITO.

Huh. Right there, eh?

Perfect for an early morning foray.

Thanks, Alansee. This cache has been staring at me for years.

I knew where this was for a bit but searched in other areas in hope I wouldn’t need to go there after a busy footy game. Alas, DonutHoles and I committed and filled the log. Cheers

After watching the mighty Freo Dockers win against Melbourne with my good mate Memorychip, it was off to find this cache that was worked out sometime ago. Very happy to get this one ticked off. Thanks for the cache.

Find 9 of 20, first on a wet and cold 12km bike ride out to the MCG in the morning, then a 7km walk around the CBD in the afternoon when it dried right up and cooled right down! Coming from Perth's autumn warmth we underestimated just how chilled we would get here.

With the big game due to kick off in the next couple of hours, Tiges fans were starting to pour in which made searching a little trickier. Eventually .K.B.'s log was the prompt to get into the right spot.

TFTC Alansee!

On a family holiday from Brisbane to see family and go to the football and of course I had to sneak in a few caches along the way. I looked at this puzzle before our trip and had no idea. I then read the hint better and after this and that I had it solved. What a fantastic idea for a puzzle. At GZ it took a look in all the wrong places before finding this cache. Giving it a FP for such a great puzzle. Thanks for all the fun

25-Mar-23
I was visiting the Fitzroy gardens to attend the Pre Rutherglen event today and as per usual I was early so there was time to check the map and maybe pick up a couple of extra smilies beforehand.
After finding somewhere to park as there was footy on at the ‘G’ I then went for a walk around the gardens and surrounding area.
I have had the coords worked out for this one for a long time now and I remember that there were to many people around at the time when I last came here to look for it.
As the game was still over 3 hours away the area was reasonably deserted so I was able to get in and out rather quickly.

Thanks Alansee TFTC.

While two of us went to see Hamilton yesterday, the other half of veevers12 is seeing Hamilton today, which gave us a 3 hour window to find some city caches before picking them up.
We wanted to complete the remaining caches around the MCG. We hadn’t solved this last time we were here. Things were starting to get busy here with a big game between India and Pakistan this evening amd lots of festivities around. Fortunately we were out of sight as we searched around and eventually found the cache. We didn’t have the same issues as the previous logger. I think they were on the wrong side of the fence.
All was well with the container and log. Great to finally solve and find this cache. TFTC

06-Oct-22
I had solved this one years and years ago and with a conference at the G it was the perfect (well…providing I wasn’t spotted!!) time to locate this cache, being outside of a sporting event and peak hours. I didn’t expect the journey to land me there but that’s what caching just has you do from time to time! tftc - collected the tb and a fav point from me

06-Oct-22
I liked the puzzle much more than the hide. Between the trash and syringes, I was only willing to poke and prod so much. So after a decent search, I decided to take the dnf rather than the hiv.

TFTC. We are in Melbourne attending to some family commitments. Not a lot of time to cache but as we are staying close by and with some help have managed to solve this one, it was good to make the find. Managed to avoid detection by the muggles walking by on their daily commute.

While others were intent on meeting Shaq (or at least catching a glimpse of him) today, I instead took the opportunity to do another caching day in the city as I slowly work towards clearing out more and more in this region - particularly the recent cluster of virtuals and Adventure Labs over to the east.

I'd solved this puzzle some time ago after the typical "aha" moment slapped me in the face and some convincing numbers soon fell out.
A clever use of the area, and I shall say no more!
An attempt last year had ended in defeat with too many spectators for my liking, but it was obvious where I needed to be.

Today was far quieter - still a few folks out walking, though the damp conditions had obviously scared off most of the crowd.
I quickly scurried off to gz and got to work searching for the cache; being out of view now didn't necessarily guarantee that to be the case soon.
The ever-reliable photo camera technique swiftly revealed the cache, allowing me to avoid poking my hands around too much in somewhere that was equal parts dusty and dodgy!

The logbook was then signed and the trackable inside discovered before all was replaced just as... uh... shall we say a lot more people showed up in view of gz!
Those who know... know.
I scampered out of there again and rejoined society without anyone batting an eye - at least I hope!

Thanks to Alansee for the neat puzzle and hide! Smile

Back home in Australia and I wanted to avenge this DNF from a previous trip. The previous logs were very helpful in pointing out what I had ignored and with that info in hand, I saw what I had not noticed last time. Once I made it to GZ, it was a quick find. Very annoyed at my previous caching skills failure although I have to admit it was much quieter this afternoon than last visit. I’m taking some solace that I was at least able to solve the puzzle - small blessings. Dropped off a TB. Hoping the MCG will be full of navy and white celebraters in a few weeks.

16-Jul-22
A puzzle I didn't have too much trouble solving picking up on the idea straight away.
The cache was quickly found and signed on a quiet Saturday morning. Be careful in the GZ as there was a bit of paraphernalia around when I popped by.

09-Jul-22
I did the research for this one a few days ago as we were planning on caching around the G while some of the kids were at the Harlem Globetrotters show nearby. I enjoyed the lightbulb moment on solving this puzzle. The find was a bit yuck though! Reading previous logs helped - as is knowing that the size is 'regular'. We actually walked away on this one but I promptly turned back with the classic "I think I know where it is - let's just have one more look . . ." And of course, I then found it straight away!

09-Jul-22
Some unsightly rubbish around but thanks to Zeus Hera & kids for doing all the hard work

03-Jul-22
I headed into the city today for an early event and met LetThemEatCache.
Afterwards we decided to stave off hypothermia by heading off to search out a few nearby caches.
I had the coordinates for GZ after a virtual search last night revealed the info required.
GZ isn't the most salubrious location, but we picked our way through the debris, and gloves on, made the well-concealed find.
Certainly unlikely to be found by accident in its neat hiding spot.
TFTC Alansee

After an early morning meet and greet in the Treasury Gardens, T of iTEEM, the cache-whisperer and I headed over to the 'G to make some 'easy' finds. After a selfie with the great S. K. Warne, it was over to here to pick up this vintage cache. Using the ol' reverse camera angle trick, we came away with the smiley.

Thanks Alansee for creating this puzzle. It did have me scratching my head til the lights went on upstairs!! Cache on!

26-Jun-22
A puzzle that I enjoyed. I attempted to solve it from home (Brisbane)prior to our trip to Melbourne, and I had an idea of what to do, but wasn’t quite close enough. Then I needed help from the CO because of a dumb error with the coords. Finally got the tick, then had to wait for the right time to find the cache.

This morning, it took a little longer than it should have to find the cache, but found with help from previous logs. Sorry to say but the cache location leaves a lot to be desired, and is a real opposite from the lights and excitement of the G. TFTC

23-Jun-22
I’m very pleased to be back in Melbourne and very happy to have found this cache after my DNF last time I was here. My team, Melbourne, play tonight. I’ll. be there. I saw them win the flag in Perth last year. Woohoo. Go Dees. Thanks for the cache.

19-Jun-22
Took a minute to work out how to get to GZ. Thankfully someone has left a pile of sticks which helped me to find where to grab. Thanks for the hide.

23-Apr-22
Once I got oriented a light bulb moment soon gave me a good set of numbers. Just a matter of getting to marvellous Melbs for a few days - and what a perfect day to be out and about on trusty treadles. No events on at the ‘G’ so could stroll around leisurely to collect a few caches. Took a wee while at GZ for the lights to go on - and finally reading size and doing some geo thinking some poking around got me the prize! TFTC AND THE FUN

Hmmm, I’ll have Rohan DNF this too.

Had a good look. Even got the phone torch out. No luck today.

07-Mar-22
After completing the FTF on the new virtual at the MCG I made my way over to this mystery that I solved earlier in the day when I first looked at the area. It was quiet at GZ which allowed for a reasonably muggle free search. I looked high, I looked low however despite looking everywhere the one spot I would have expected the cache to be seemed out of bounds. It was only after exhausting all other possibilities multiple times that I noticed something. Is there another way? . Sure enough the cache was soon in hand and the log signed.

If only I could get that time back

Thanks Alansee for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

GT37 loves old caches so this was always a must when we were going to be in the city. Today was the day and a nice quick find was made. Thanks for the cache.

09-Jan-22
This was an absolute must as I love old caches. A nice quick solve and even though the cache was found, it wasn't quite as quick. Thanks for placing this cache and maintaining it for so long.

09-Jan-22
Attempted this cache 7 years ago but only today came up with a smiley.

09-Jan-22
We had a DNF here 7 years ago. Just as dirty at GZ as it was back then, but success this time around! Smile Thank you for the cache!

09-Dec-21
A long lunch in the city today for work meant an hour or so to spare to nab some caches. I opted for a walk up this end of town rather than ad labs which I’ll grab another day. I certainly had to time this one around walkers by but got there in the end. Phew! Love the G. Have been to many amazing sporting moments there over the years. Thanks for the cache.

27-Nov-21
We aren't sports people so we never Thought we would find it. However through process of elimination we made our find today. Cache in good condition. Thanks for the riddle.

18-Oct-21
The solution to this puzzle had presented itself to me some time ago but I had kept the cache in reserve for a day where: a. there would be little to no crowd and b. I had a gap in my puzzle calendar.
The only silver lining to the cloud that has been both the pandemic and the interminable lockdown is the severe reduction in both people and the cars they drive. It makes caching in busy metro settings infinitely easier.
Unfortunately it also may promote the use of conveniently proximate but semi-isolated spots by people other than cachers. Given the, erm, paraphernalia of the pointy kind (capped for safety, thankfully) lying around I thought it best to exercise caution in searching the area. Out came the phone and voila, a cache spied in the first spot I pointed it.
Duties done it was time to rejoin paths trod by muggles and wouldn't you know it, a cyclist gave me a VERY odd look given my re-entry to the established paths. I simply walked off, having found what I was looking for.

What a great idea for a puzzle. I hope to visit when Oz is not so riddled with the delta-variant...

15-Apr-21
I had the whole day to myself in the CBD and decided to spend that time filling in some cache gaps towards the east of Melbourne that I'd been putting off for a while before heading up to Parkville and scanning some pesky 2D codes.
Despite quite a few DNFs, it was a pretty successful day and all of the walking through these lovely parts of the city was thoroughly enjoyed, even if some rather notable blisters did appear afterwards!

I'd had this puzzle solved for a little while and decided to route my journey past gz.
A search in a few locations took place but yielded no results.
It seemed that the only remaining place for a regular sized container would require a jumped fence and a nonchalant attitude towards what would be very visibly suspicious activities given my exposed position to a few passing muggles (including a few security personnel, yikes).
Perhaps I'll give it another shot soon - next time with a bit of backup, I think!
Thanks to Alansee for this placement anyway!

14-Apr-21
Solved the puzzle last night after initially overthinking it, but then it made sense and scored a correct in the checker.
Today we visited the Australian Sports Museum and made a reasonably quick find before leaving the area.
Found with fluffymaxi and JayG10.

Heading to the ‘G’ today for Xmas lunch was the perfect opportunity to finally grab this cache given when im normally here theres 60+ thousand muggles around. Pretty quiet today leading to a quick find. TB dropped.

Thanks Alansee for placing this Regular Mystery - this is find 1808 for BFMC

I made hard work of solving this one, but like most puzzles it was easy once the right approach was tried. Since solving, collecting has been the problem - I've been down this way five or six times, but hadn't had the time to search. Today was my lucky day, and the find was quickly made. I enjoyed the orginal logbook - can it claim to being the oldest logbook in inner Melbourne? In any case, it was a good puzzle and clearly a well thought out hide. Thanks Alansee

I had a few hours spare to loiter around the City while waiting to pick up family.
There was a chance of rain and all my caching gear in the car, but I thought it won't rain, and if it does I won't be far from cover.
Well I ended up getting soaked, but it didn't stop me from continuing my search.
This Icon has been a frustrating solved puzzle on my map, so it was a target while in the area. I was well and truly soaked by now, so I was relieved for a few minutes to dry out.
Just a a heads up with kids, there are needles on the ground in the area.
Log signed and replaced as Found.

Thanks for the Puzzle cache Alansee

Went looking for this cache a while ago, but got heavily stuck on the puzzle. After retiring back home, had a light bulb moment and got the co-ords.

The journey to the cache was long with TheKrak3n and her sister, who came caching for the first time. Few found along the way and when we hit the GZ. Took some searching for but found and signed.

Great puzzle, and great hide!!

Approaching the 'G' to find a trad in the vicinity, V had a look around and a thought: This could work! - Yes, such a neat puzzle, very enjoyable indeed (especially when one of us comes up quickly with the idea for solving it!)
Off to GZ, luckily not a lot of people were in the area today, and the signing duties could be completed without complications. The book is still there, waiting for better times. Today it got a little wet.
Cool idea, cool hide. We left a coin to continue its travels from here.

A glorious Autumn afternoon in Melbourne demanded time out for a cache on my way home from work.

After having a good chat with the CO at an event a little while ago I was inspired to look at this puzzle. With plenty of hints on the cache page and from the CO himself the nice puzzle soon yielded its treasure.

My first approach to GZ stopped short at a fence, but I soon saw the way in. Just had to hang out for a bit looking nonchalant with my “just waiting for someone first” face on. Finally the infrequent but frustratingly regular foot traffic cleared briefly and I skipped to GZ.

Spotted some reading matter nearby for those sleeping rough, but found the cache quickly just where I thought it should be.

TFTC Alansee and looking forward to a smiley in the middle of the G Smile

That's annoying... Have looked at the puzzle on previous visits to Melbourne and, although it's clear enough what it's based on, I've never had the time to do the calculations thoroughly. Started with the obvious just before the game on Sunday, but got a "no" from the Checker. Took a methodical approach which yielded an alternative set of coordinates which passed muster.

Went on a caching tour this evening based around the final location, but couldn't find the cache. GPS was bouncy, but there seemed like only one place where a Regular container could be hidden. Found a tarp, a book, some litter, and a syringe, but no cache. Have read some logs, so will try to fit in another visit before returning to England on Saturday...

I solved this cache as we walked towards the area and myself and goose went one way and toolman went the other, we joined him by following his route and with the help of cameras we searched as we didnt want to put our hands where we could see and the cache was found at long last.

A good sized cache in a location that I would expect a large cache to be found by muggles but with it being so well hidden it is in a nice safe place.

thanks for the cache, very well done Alansee

After a disappointing DNF at another cache we approached this one hoping to redeem ourselves and make our first find for the day. Stainless steel rat and I went one way but were blocked. 1toolman scooted off the other way and got himself to GZ. We followed, careful not to disturb the bedding and other items here. We checked a few places here before eventually finding the cache.
I'd solved this a while ago so it was nice to collect it today. Thanks Alansee [^]

**A word of warning**
We found syringes at GZ so please be very careful

Good evening Alansee, greetings from Tassie and thanks for the cache.
Solved this one (with a little google help) back in Tassie last week, knowing I'd be over this weekend to visit geoSon and family, and to attend the cycling at Melbourne Arena.
Found this cache with GHAP_Cache_Hunters on our way home tonight after the cycling.

Melbourne Day 5: St Kilda and CBD Fringes
Last day in Melbourne today, and since my flight was quite late in the evening, I had more or leas the whole day to finish off whatever caches I felt like doing. Took a very long walk around the city today, and picked up a few caches to start the New Year. Have a great 2019 everyone, and thanks for the caches!

The following is the specific log for each cache:
Second cache of the day, and this one was a puzzle that I had solved with some difficult at home, but streetview came through and I managed to get the coordinates. The cache was not too hard to find, though the rough sleeper seemed to be still around, personal belongings and all. Tiptoed around the stuff, with my bike helmet protected my head from bumps. A few close calls and cache was in hand. TFTC!

I’ve solved his puzzle twice now, as I lost my answers the first time. A very enjoyable puzzle, took a while to click, but it came to me while watching the big game itself. The hide was easy enough, although I’m not sure I’d send geokids down there, someone was sleeping rough and there were a couple of needles. Hopefully the safe injecting room can give them the help they need. Cheers for the cache!

I was at Melbourne for the MEGA weekend and I was looking for geocaches close to our hotel. This one wasn't far away and it was only a difficulty 2 so I started to work on the puzzle. I had the puzzle all sorted out with a nudge from the CO. The actual cache was even closer! About 50 meters away so I set off this morning to find it. There is still someone camping at GZ but found the container quick. The plastic bag with the log has a hole through the bottom and might need some looking at.

I tried again this afternoon and ventured deeper than I had before. Using a stick I was able to find the cache, it was much bigger than I had anticipated. All good at GZ if you take care. TFTC and the puzzle.

Ihave been to the g many times and soon figured out what was needed to solve the puzzle . Finding the cache and signing the log was different story . No smiley this time .

I sat at the traditional cache along the Queens Walk and decided to solve this puzzle. The method came to me easily, it was just a task of establishing orientation when frankly, all I can think about is Hawthorn hopefully beating Richmond tonight in that big stadium over yonder. A set of coordinates looked rather good and were conveniently on my way back to my car so off I went. Others have mentioned the possessions around gz which are still there, but the cache can be found without disturbing them. TFTC Alansee

Went to what geochecker said was gz but when I got there I saw some homeless person's posessions so I didn't hang around long enough to find the cache.

Had worked out how to solve this puzzle from home; but knew that a visit to the site was necessary to work out the final calculations. A Sunday afternoon football game at the MCG was just perfect to sit and do the final calculations before grabbing the cache on our way out. TFTC Smile

Hmmm... we got the general gist straight away, but it took a few iterations to get the green light. Then a careful search at GZ to avoid needle stick and we had our names in the log. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.

A puzzle I could solve. Woo Hoo. Homeless people live where the cache is located so be careful when you go to retrieve it.

On a long ride today, I was targeting this and three others for my dates hidden calendar. With only 12 to fill, this was my third, given my route.

Looking at this some time ago, I thought I knew what was required, but made a silly error on one of the numbers. The kind CO set me straight and I had my numbers.

Yesterday, when driving to the 'G' to watch the mighty Tigers beat a fast finishing Hawks, I was reminded of this cache. So, today was the day to find the physical cache. Parking my bike nearby, I first thought outside, but soon realised that I needed to be inside. I looked and looked, and yes, spotted the needle, so I encourage future hiders to be careful in here. I suggest you use a stick to poke around and behind and you will have the cache in hand.

Thanks Alansee, for your help and for this cache at the 'centre' of Melbourne.

For the second day in a row I've solved a mystery cache which I'd had in the too-hard basket for the longest time. I figured out the coordinates, hired an oBike and did another late-night caching run. Hopefully this month I'll be going to the G for the first time for a footy match

Today I needed a cache for the double calendar challenge ( if I ever get there) and given the current planetary souvenir challenge it seemed a good idea to head for a mystery. This was the closest unfound mystery to our workplace, so ClanMagee and I popped out at lunch time. We'd previously attempted this a while ago, but were not successful (although in the process of getting to GZ ClanMagee had been successful in kicking my phone out of my hand and shattering it. I clutched it very closely this time). This time we were successful on both counts. We found the cache and I left with my phone intact. TFTC!

Be warned: after returning again to find this one, I still saw syringes in the area. This was up high at head/hand height very near the cache. But there is a lot of leaf litter that may conceal other syringes at foot level. The local guardian was not there, although their possessions were.

After returning nearly two years later, this was a quick find.

During our day of wandering, raindoctor said we were coming up to a puzzle cache that we can solve on the go! It took a bit of explaining but a pen and paper helps Smile As with previous finder, someone has made GZ their home, so we tried to be as discreet and quick as possible. In this scenario, a stick helps! Thanks Alansee Very Happy

On my last visit here it finally clicked how to solve this cache. But I needed a helping hand. Misspalot was on hand today and together we managed to make a very clever find. Thanks for the cache!

Sweet puzzle, the kind I'm actually capable of! Homeless person sleeping and keeping their belongings at GZ (bag, books etc.) so be aware. Didn't want to stay there too long. TFTC!

Found it. Took a couple of tries on the puzzle. Can't believe that I missed it once I realised the right way

A short tour of Meccico from north of the border. Something about tennis and a visit to a diver. This cache added to the fun and was found in the last place I looked. Muggle central actually made it easier! Muggle central after the tennis which is also a big game this time of year.

Thanks to Alansee and *clear skies* from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!
