Gallery of log for Murals of Australia
Travelling from Mildura to Ballarat recently caching as we went and one of the little towns we stopped at was Brim, population about 100. Brim has the most magnificent painted grain silos you've ever seen. The four silos each have a 30 metre high painting of a local person from the area. The paintings were finished in January this year and were painted by Guido van Helten from Brisbane. As a tourism effort they have been very successful, while we were there there was a constant stream of people pulling up taking photos. There are also three caches here based on the Brim silo art.
