Like so many of our GCA firsts (or finds in general really) this was inspired by our search for Trig Points. We find it hard to pass up a trig point and a lighthouse cache, always fun!
We decided to walk the long way along the beach instead of parking right near the lighthouse. Turns out the tide was quite high on the day and we all got a bit wet heading around the point.

We took a while to log our first virtual GC find, possibly because they seem to be a bit rarer in our area than the GCA virtual finds.
This virtual took us to a private airfield where, much to the kids delight, we were lucky enough to see a small two seater plane taxi around the runway and take off over our heads.
