Gregory Stephen Chappell AO MBE is a former cricketer who represented Australia at international level in both Tests and One-Day Internationals. The second of three brothers to play Test cricket, Chappell was the pre-eminent Australian batsman of his time who allied elegant stroke making to fierce concentration. Greg succeeded his brother Ian as Australian captain for the 1975/76 series against the West Indies, becoming the first player to hit a century in each.
