A city event on Tuesday evening took me very close to GZ, so I just had to go looking for this cute little dog even in the rain and the encroaching darkness.

And he's still there, sitting up and begging quite near the huge statue of his mistress! And the voice of John Laws survives as well, sounding out over the many tourists, who snap Islay's photo at regular intervals.

I only wish I'd had time available to go and track down the other GCA 'virtual' animals around the CBD. Perhaps on another occasion . . .
