I had always thought of this wishing well as the John Laws wishing well (due to the voice) so it is VERY nice to now be able to think of it as Islay's wishing well

I had a bit of trouble reading the engraved writings in the flat morning light (and with my eyes too I suspect!) but managed to get at just the right angle to see.
