Gallery of log for Lunar Eclipse Virtual Event

28-Aug-07
Thank goodness for the feedback you get from a digital camera. We learned a thing or two about taking photo's of the moon tonight: anything more than about 4 secs exposure and the star movement becomes really obvious; exposure is much easier when the moon is completely in shadow; and tripod, cable release and mirror lock-up are your friends!

Now that we have a decent photo we should go and read the article on lunar eclipse photography referenced in the cache notes (oops).

Our thanks to Spindoc Bob for this Virtual Event. Top idea.
