Logs for Rainbow's End

18-Nov-18
Found this one relatively easily. Lovely location, we called in whilst making our way down from the Sunshine Coast. TFTC

14-Nov-18
We were hoping for a cache in the Byron Bay Area for our furthest east, and this came up so we were determined to find it. Bit of a hike but well worth it. Found the cache after a short search and check of terrain and type. TFTC

13-Nov-18
A bit confusing at first but we were just about to give up when we spotted it. No pen so photo provided. TFTC

14-Jan-16
Had to take the opportunity to find a cache whilst in Melbourne and this one was the nearest to our hotel. Glad I didn't go yesterday as it was 42C, but today much more reasonable at 18 (yes 18). Found after a short search. This gets a favourite point for a nice location and our furthest south. TFTC

08-Jan-16
On a trip down under & we stayed over in Cessnock for a few days so it seemed rude not to look for a cache. Near an airport so gets a favourite point Smile TFTC

14-Jan-15
Vinegar poured on the coral. Few air bubbles, no other reaction. I therefore conclude it is made from Aragonite and estimate it to be 10,000 years old. TFTC

12-Jan-15
We wanted to do a cache whilst in Cairns and this seemed straightforward, being very close to our hotel. Had a little difficulty extracting the log book (a pen helped), and there were quite a few muggles even at 7:45am. Excellent location though. TFTC

06-Jan-15
Meant to add, log book soaking wet so will post photograph as couldn't sign

05-Jan-15
Wanted to find a few caches whilst we were in Australia. Third visit to this one in three days, still no luck having checked out all the likely locations, so it may have gone missing.

Another one we tried but, like the two previous seekers, no luck. Looks like it's been muggled.

Our first find in Oz, thanks to Lynn who proved she still had her geocacher's instincts. TFTC

Our second find in Oz. We had an idea about the clue which was on the right lines. Nice location, TFTC
