Logs for Silent Hunter

Had some time to kill before work and found this a pleasant cache to look for. I used method A and at GZ the GPS is right on the spot. The cache is in good condition and the fires a few days ago did not get near the area.
Left and took nothing.

This was spot on with the GPS and with the hint you cannot go wrong. I can imagine that the cache im not happy with like NOT HAPPY JAN is in a similar location to this one. At least this has the GPS right and can be found. As you arrive to the spot if coming from the south you will pick up the root of the location pretty quick. I could see it take maybe an extra few min to find coming from the north.

Found this one and it was a good hunt I like the different destinations from waypoint 1 to GZ. Great BBQ area at waypoint 1 and only took 3 min to find. Great hunt at GZ it is a smart spot and you tend to look to deep in the garden for this one until you do another perimeter search and there it is. Even though there are no goodies at this cache I found a great new golf ball while looking (Hope it is a trick lucky ball to bring the golf score down). I did try and see if the ball would fit in the cache but is only fits the log, Oh well will have to try my like on the golf course.
I have tried this one twice and both times have found it impossible. The first waypoint doesn’t seem to be there (missing). if you follow the obvious signes with the arrows it leads you in the opposite direction to where you should be heading to waypoint 2.
I had to ask a person at the clubhouse where the plaque is on the stone which is actually in another adjoining park.
One at the plaque and you get the information it is apparently a short walk to the river bank I had a quick check but there are to many nasties (things that will bite spiders and snakes to want to look to hard).
Sorry but I don’t like this one and will not bother with it again

Nice drive to this cache if you have a 4x4 do go all the way up Duck Creek road as it is an easy drive. I dont think i would like to take a car up there though you probly could even though you would scrape the bottom of the car a few times. At GZ it was easy to find a nice change from some I have looked for latley. The container and contence are in good order.
Took: Torch.
Left: Pack of 3 new golf balls.
Unfortunalty there where bush fires around the hills today so view was very misty.

(THE SHORT CUT)
Went in the back way to this one. If you continue along the highway south past the turn off to the GPS first waypoint to the first road left after the point. This road goes up a very steep hill and parking is not a problem as long as you have a very good hand break.
This route should only be used if you are passing and are running short on time or light as you will miss all the wonderful views that can be had from the first G.P.S waypoint car park staring point given.
The walk to the cache is only 5min from the steep road and the walking path entry to the park is just at the top of the road 10 meters south. just head up the path past the first bend and go bush over the crest to the cache site. I found the G.P.S unit to be a bit scratchy in the area of the cache and a few cross walks needed to track down cache.
Left nothing and took nothing cache is in good condition, this is a container all bush caches should be held. (Great Cache).
